Stuff'd Wings

I used to eat here when they were a food truck in the autozone plaza. I am so proud that they now have a Brick and Mortar location. The concept is so unique and the food is tasty. I do not live in Texas anymore but when I did; I brought everyone I knew there to try it!

This place has been on my list for a while now. Wish I would have tried it when it first opened. The food was pretty disappointing. I have a feeling it is not the same quality as it was when it was popular and trendy. We arrived at 12:15 on a Friday. Only one other person was there. Not a good sign. I ordered the three wing basket with boudin. Comes with fries and a ranch dipping sauce. I added two wings stuffed with mac’n cheese with sweet chili dipping sauce. The mac’n cheese wings were….okay. Not bad, but oily and not hot all the way through. The bonding stuffed wings had an odd flavor. Almost like the boudin had freezer burn. The fries were just regular basic fries. The only thing that was really good was the sweet chili dipping sauce. If you are in a hurry, wouldn’t recommend coming here. Was almost a 30 minute wait for the food. The server was really nice.

Stuff’d Wings offers a creative twist on a classic favorite, but the execution leaves something to be desired. While some flavors are decent, others lack the wow factor expected from stuffed wings. The menu variety is interesting, but inconsistency in taste and texture is noticeable. Service is average, and the ambiance is nothing special. Overall, Stuff’d Wings has potential with their concept, but refinement in flavor and consistency would elevate the experience!

The wings were good but there was a lot of coating. Overall good and able to be reheated!

Nice twist on the Louisiana style boudin cuisine! Food was very tasty and fresh. The Mac and Cheese is a must have! It has a smoked cheesy flavor. ❤️

We went for lunch about 12:00 noon. The place was empty and parking was easy. I can only imagine that the only reason the place wasn’t packed is because no one knows of it. They serve stuffed chicken wings, what a cool idea. I got the flight which had 4 wings one each stuffed with dirty rice, chicken boudin, seafood boudin and Mac and cheese. My favorite was the dirty rice but they are all good. The wings come out quickly, they are hot, crisp and cooked to perfection. I got the collard greens coleslaw. It sounded interesting and I wasn’t disappointed. It had a great crunchy texture and the sauce was a bit tangy but then you’d get a hit of the apple and cranberry that would give a hint of sweetness. Even though it was only 4 wings, they are large and I left satisfied. This place was a real surprise and we look forward to coming back.

Well first time going to a place and wasn't so bad and having a wing that stuff for different things is actually pretty good had a nice little taste. Personally I wish they had a little more seasoning in the different types of stuffing they use for the wings excuse me in the wings. Although still a very good little wing to chew on and did taste pretty good. Price is a little high but compared with today's price of things and food it's pretty much par for the course. Yes I will go back and get more food from them.

After months and months of passing by this establishment and wanting to go, I finally got the opportunity today to go. I asked The cashier was the banana pudding homemade and she said yes. Unfortunately, that was not the truth, the banana pudding is NOT HOMEMADE. In fact it is indeed box pudding, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I personally just don’t eat it. Therefore, I asked for my money back because I don’t like Type of banana pudding. I was asked what didn’t I like about the pudding? When that doesn’t really matter, Point is I don’t like it and I want my money back. Unfortunately, I was not given my money back. I’m not really sure why, I personally think that the owner was offended because someone didn’t like her cooking. Nevertheless, I do not recommend this establishment that box pudding was eight dollars and I wanted my money back because it was flat out horrible!!! It’s not the cashier’s fault so I won’t bash her but the owner Definitely should be ashamed of herself! Homemade banana pudding!! GIRL YOU ARE TOO FUNNY!! ENJOY MY $8. Get the sampler. Worth all the calories it carries. Will definitely be back for more. Super filling. Delightfully delicious. The sweet tea was the perfect compliment to the meal. Server was super friendly with the inside having that UH/rockets/houston vibe

Ordered the chicken and waffles, waited 20 minutes, only to find out they didn't have any waffles? And I had to ask to get that information. Super disrespectful of people's time ... Tried to give this place a chance and got burned. Oh, and I tried to get a refund and they said they couldn't process it... What a joke

Learned about this spot on social media and had been saying I was going to try for months and finally did & I can truly say I was not disappointed at all. There was a bit of a line when I got there but I didn't mind it gave me a chance to look at the menu and decide what I was getting. I ended up getting the Tierwester with the chicken head wings and adding 2 extra riding' dirty wings. The food was fresh and seasoned well with the perfect amount of spice and then of course they had Louisiana hot sauce which made it hit even harder. The ordering process was simple and quick, there was a bit of wait which I expected, it took about 15-20 mins to come out but again it was fresh. I had the sweet tea and the frozen strawberry lemonade both were good, not overly sweet. I'll be going back real soon because I need to try those other wings and that mac.

Overall this food is just okay. The service was cool and they answer any questions about the menu but for the price you pay though it kind of leaves you wanting more. The coleslaw was nasty, too much mayonnaise and it was warm! Maybe it was a fresh batch but I wouldn't have ordered it if that was the case

Food was delicious! I got the 4 piece with all the flavors. All delicious but chicken bouillon is my personal fave! Service was great, the gentleman up front gave some great suggestions. Vibes are fairly chill. I got there at 11:08/ opening and about 6 people came in right after us lol

I had been wanting to try this place forever and finally broke down and tried it. The idea is good but you truly only need one or two of these wings..they are hugeeee lol. The chicken itself is very tasty but the fillings leave something to be desired. I got the chicken boudin and the dirty rice fillings. Just not a strong flavor on the filling after biting into a tasty wing. Now idk who made the mac and cheese but it was some of the nastiest Mac and cheese I've ever tried and I'm glad I didn't get wings stuffed wit it.

For starters customer service was really good. I had questions about the menu and they were very helpful. My food was good considering. It was definitely cooked to order because it was hot and fresh when it came out and we had to wait for it. I didn't give it 5 stars because I ordered the wing flight and 2 of the wings weren't really stuffed and the mac n cheese wings stuffing was coming out so when it was fried most of the wing stuffing was burnt. The collard slaw was a different twist on coleslaw. I enjoyed it. The red sauce for the side was also good. I would go back again. Just because the concept is a good one. And I may request that my wings are stuffed and not burnt. The dining room was very clean and spacious.

This was my first time visiting their brick and mortar. I went to their food truck often on OST. This tender basket was really good. I could only finish half the order. Definitely great value for amount of food. Mac and cheese was good as well. The frozen lemonade was really tasty. Will support again soon. I went late at night and the employee working was really nice. She offered great suggestions and shaped my overall first experience at this location.

So my friend knew I was in Houston and texted me to go by Stuffd Wings and get her something. Well, I wasn't just going to get her something without me trying it as well. I placed on online order for her dirty rice wings, I got the seafood stuffd, and we got tenders, Mac stuffd and boudin stuffd. When I went to pick up my order at the specified time, it was ready which was great. We didn't eat it right away since we'd just eaten breakfast and took them back home with us. Back home is DFW area. They held up well and were very good... I'm sure even better eating them fresh. Definitely go back.

I had high hopes but it was subpar if anything and the grease tasted like it was old grease to me . I'd most likely not give it a another try. The service wasn't anything spectacular but I will say I got my wings to go. I tried one of each of the four flavors they offer and I honestly didn't even finish it . That's how disappointing it was . The place is decorated beautifully but that's the best thing they have going for them .

I heard about this restaurant on TikTok and I had to try it. Small parking lot with limited spots to park. The atmosphere and decor was cute. They had good music playing in the background. They had a small dining room to eat with some bar seating. Greeted upon entering which was nice. It took a minute to order because the ladies in front had a lot of questions before ordering. They also only had one kiosk open to take and charge orders. One of the workers got out a handheld machine and took our order because we were waiting for a while. I appreciated the time they took to answer questions and recommend items. However, if you're in a rush I wouldn't walk in and order for situations like this. They do have a drive thru to order. I tried the 5 piece Dirty Rice Stuffed Wings and a strawberry lemonade. I had the Chi sauce with my wings and it was sweet and spicy. It was so good! My friend tried The Flight, cajun fries, and the froze drink. The food came out before we sat down. That was a plus, but the chicken was NOT super hot as if it had came fresh out the grease. The fries were okay. They are just crinkle cut fries with seasoning. My friend did not like the Mac and Cheese Stuffed Wings. The Mac and cheese was dry and lacking flavor to her. She didn't finish her fries. She said, her froze was not a strong drink. For my food/drink plus tax, I paid $19.48. Overall, the food was okay. I personally would not go back, but happy I tried it. My friend said that she'd come back. I'd encourage anyone to try the food for themselves. It is a cute Houston local spot.

Wings were very flavorful! You can't leave without getting their banana pudding as well. Very kind and polite staff

It was good being back in my old stomping grounds and try some good food. 3rd Ward, TX Stuffd wings has wings stuff with either Boudin, dirty rice, and Mac n cheese. FOOD: The wings were pretty good I got the chicken boudin stuffed wings. The Tierwester combo only came with 3 wings but with the wings being stuffed that was plenty for me. I noticed a lot of the customers wasn't finishing their fries and they weren't all that great to me either. But I really just came for the wings. ATMOSPHERE: small parking lot that will fill up fast during busy times. Inside is casual very laid back. You order at the counter and then get a seat and they'll call you when it's ready.

I honestly thought the service here would be terrible... It was the opposite for sure. They were really nice, I loooove love love a drive thru cus I like to go home lol The drive thru was fast! They took my order, had it out quickly and the food was good! Had some Cajun stuffed wings and I couldn't even finish it. When they asked me if I wanted three or four I almost cussed them out buuut trust me, four is enough lol it's worth it guys

I was in town and was craving some wings. Stuffd was close by so i decided to give them a go. So the restaurant isn't too big so depending on what time of the day it may be hard too find seating. It was a tad bit busy but luckily I was able to get a seat at their makeshift bar area. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and ordered the four piece sampler with a side of Mac and cheese and the chi sauce. I think the cook was having an off day because some of my chicken was still pink. Tne Mac and cheese wing was dry and not too flavorful. The best stuffed wing was the shrimp and crawfish and that was only because of the inside. That chi sauce though literally can hide a thousand faults. The Mac and cheese was the actual star of the show it was a different kind of Mac. Chipotle Mac and it was so good. I wished I had got a big batch of that. Next time I'm in Houston I'll give this place another try.

Never had stuffed wings before and this was a good experience. The service was very welcoming and I like decor. I had the flight tossed in lemon pepper. The wings were crispy and well seasoned. However, the Mac and cheese wing wasn't my favorite. The other wings were good. Overall Stuffd is a good place.

I've been here twice. The service was good both times. I ordered 15 wings and only received 10. I called to let them know and was told that I could come back, but I was already 40 minutes away back home in Cypress. I was told I'd get refunded and never was. Never heard anything back. The Mac and cheese wings were good. The ones with rice were just ok. I spent over $60 plus I left a $5 cash tip. I would think getting refunded for the 5 wings I didn't get would've been simple. My main advice is to make sure to check your food before you leave. It's not cheap, so not getting what you pay for is very disheartening. I don't have plans on visiting again.

Long story short: wings are great, such an interesting concept I truly don't know how they do it, service is bomb & GET THE CHI SAUCE! For those who like details read on: The area is still pretty sketchy, it is the now known "Ion District" but it's sketchy by looks alone. While the order speaker was out of service, I'm actually glad it was because it gave me more time to interact with Brighton who was an absolute SUPERSTAR. Being my first time, she navigated me through my flavor profile and "Stuffing" options. We settled on the Tierwester special stuffed with chicken boudin and it did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and order the Chi sauce, it's like a really nice hot sauce mixed with Polynesian sauce. It's kind of sweet kind of tangy kind of spicy. Just order it. Over all I will definitely be back, a star was deducted for the price being a bit steep for to-go food but again over all it was great.

So came here two nights in a row ... lol.. Initially I came late and wanted to try this place out since I seem to keep getting burned lately. I ordered Thru drive thru and then parked alongside street for them to bring out. It took about a solid 20 mins, may have been a tad bit longer tbh. They had about 4 cars ahead of me waiting and they were pretty busy inside also, (sat night action). I ordered the Tierwester wings combo with Cajun fries. Since I got combo I was allowed to add on 2 wings and pick two flavor profiles (you can't do it otherwise) . I picked Ridin dirty and return of the Mack. I was surprised they weren't dried out, but both were good and it made me drive back Sunday to order again. Fries are the thick crinkle cut and I need extra seasoning. Both times they weren't the most crisp but it's cool. They also have coke products but my coke wasn't hittin like McDonald's does. At the end of the day, they didn't disappoint and I'll return. Both days I had a good 25-30 min wait, so I'm gonna do an online order next time.

Drove thru the drive thru and saw that it does take at least 10 minutes to cook the wings. They make you pull up in case someone is behind you, so the drive thru can be a bit unstructured. Only had the dirty rice stuffed wings with lemon pepper. It came out really hot and fresh and the wings were so juicy and tender! The dirty rice inside was decent and one of the is was a bit salty. Overall very juicy wing compared to other places and I would come back to try other wings.

The fires were bomb we added the 2 wings to try them all. Let me tell you these wing were nice and fresh and taste like my pops fried them. They were perfection. The service was great the food didn't take too long to be finished. They had the football games on I definitely enjoyed eating here!

I want to first give this place an a for presentation. The food is very appealing to the eye. I really did LOVE LOVE LOVE the McGregor salad the most it has a combination of salad and cabbage very fresh. Very crunchy chicken very good. The sampler stuffed wings were OK I think, what would have granted at least four stars would've been. If I couldn't smell the grease the food is very flavorful, but the smell of the grease is overwhelming and takes away from the flavor. The fries had a nice flavor as well but all I could smell was grease refried grease

Leaving the zoo the other day I took a wrong turn and ran into Stuff'd Wings. Mannnnn!!!! Hold up! The picture doesn't do these justice, the seafood wings were really good!

Went in because I had no idea how a person would stuff a wing. Got the flight (one of each type of stuffed wing)). They were all good, but I recommend the one stuffed with dirty rice. I could tell the wings were made to order and beyond the "stuffd" aspect they were simply a great piece of fried chicken. The atmosphere is clean and simple. Everything looked new and well thought out. The owner working the counter was friendly but nice enough to give me distance once the food was served. I'll be back.

Food tasted decent but chicken was not cooked through. Seemed reheated cause they were cold in the center. This was early on in the location opening so maybe it was a fluke. I've tried to revisit a couple times but they were closed (I was in the area and hungry {unplanned visit}).

Say what!?! Stuffed wings ? Yes please! Wowsa. This place is wing cooking at its finest. We were driving by , saw the place and u-turned in. Don't sleep on the wheeler loaded fries. We shared 5 stuffed wings. Amazing. We will be back. Oh. Try the frozen lemonade too. Service is fast and friendly.

Been wanting to try this place for the longest. I finally made it for lunch here yesterday. I decided to go with the 5 piece wings stuffed with dirty rice and the collard green coleslaw. The service was great. Stepped up to the counter and ordered a little after noon. It was about a 10 minute wait. the Wings: Nice crispy batter on the outside. Well fried piece of chicken. The dirty rice stuffing was just ok. I will give them props for creativity. I would love to see how they stuff the wings. collard green coleslaw - very tasty. I had never had coleslaw fixed like this before. Seemed to be a collard green mix of some kind, maybe cabbage. There were also chopped up pieces of green apple in the slaw. The only negative on this was that it seemed to be a bit over salted. Overall I can only give this place 3 stars. The food is just ok in my opinion.

Came here on 10/22/22 and ordered the Tierwester Wings and added 2 more Stuff'd Wings AND A WATER CUP (more on this later) for $18.40. I was full for sure after, good amount of food for a hungry person, might have been a little too much food for a normal meal. Most importantly: the food here is GOOD. I had never had stuffed wings before and they absolutely lived up to expectations. Each piece was fried expertly (not too greasy, crunchy but not too crunchy, did not fall apart). I tried Return of the Mack (stuffed with Mac and cheese) and Seafood Lovers (shrimp and crawfish boudin). The mac stuffing was just okay but the seafood rice was AMAZING - so much seafood flavor and such an interesting experience with the perfect chicken wing as well. The reason this isn't a five star review is because it's a little pricey for the area ($18 for my lunch, but they are competing with a whole bunch of $5 banh mi places just half a mile up the street. I get matching that price is impossible, but this is triple) and because they charged $1 for a cup of water (the price of which is not on the menu). Even one of the employees was kinda like "yeah, why are we charging for ice water?." I get that the plastic cup might cost something, but this feels like really hardcore nickle and diming - would prefer if it was put it up that you'll charge, or (even better and probably industry standard) don't charge. Food's fire for sure, happy to have found it!

I saw the frozen pink drink constantly being dispensed although I don't drink frozen drinks, I thought I'd try it. I just have one question. Why do you only serve one size? It was amazing. I ordered the 10 piece so I can try two wing flavors. I chose the seafood stuffed and the macaroni stuffed. The seafood stuffed put me in the mind of a seafood Boudin. I liked it but I loved the macaroni stuff. Do you know what it's like to try to eat the favorite one last, so that's the last taste you have in your mouth? yeah well I tried and I messed up. So now I need to get back and get some more. When I looked up the price point on the Internet, I thought it was kind of high. But I must say it's worth every penny.

The chicken is THHHIIIICK yall!!! It's thick on the sandwiches too! Listen, come in here and get the cleburne tenders tossed w/ Chi sauce. It comes with crinkle fries (Cajun seasoning) I added 2 extra tenders for $5 cause y'all know I be out here eating ! The sandwich was good too but you gotta be open minded to the coleslaw, TRUUUST me it goes with it.

Very much so wouldn't recommend. The Scott St. Sandwich - chicken was pink on the inside & the sauce was not good, the fries were season-less and equivalent to a frozen bag from the grocery store. The Wheeler Loaded Fries had government cheese (not even the good kind) and a few pieces of chicken on it, these fries were over seasoned. *this food was free thankfully, I think I would have been even more disappointed if I had paid for it*

Stuffd wings was sooo good. We came in an hour before closing and everything but Ridin Dirty was sold out, so good for them! The wings were spectacular and so filling. Will definitely come back to try more. The only reason I took down a star was because we ordered Cajun fries, but they came out unseasoned, so we had to season it ourselves. Besides that, Stuffd Wings was super good, and we'll be back soon!

I've been following this place since their food truck days. I finally got an opportunity to try them out when I was in town on business. I love the interior! It's bright, fun and pays homage to the neighborhood. The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful. I ordered the Tierwester Wings and added 2 additional wings and strawberry lemonade. I tried the seafood boudin stuffed wings as well as the Mac and cheese stuffed wings. The chicken itself is flavorful and fried to perfection. The stuffing enhances the already great chicken wings. The fries were also well seasoned and fresh. The strawberry lemonade was amazingly balanced...not too tart not too sweet. Overall great experience!

Today was my first time to Stuff'd Wings - won't be the last! As a newby - I opted for the Sampler which had 4 stuffed wings - which gave me a sample of each of their offerings. The different stuffings gave the chicken a different flavor (think about different stuffed turkeys you have had at Thanksgiving). Each was DELISH - I liked the seafood stuffing the best - all were fresh flavors, seasoned to perfection! I added the Collard Greens Slaw which was worth the trip by itself!! I met the General Manager, BJ. He and his staff were very friendly and helped me get the most from my visit. I highly recommend this fresh take on fried chicken!! Laura

Yesterday we tried Stuffd for the first time. It was an experience to say the least. Everything, from the a1 customer service, quick service, and tasty food, to the good music and clean, cute interior of the restaurant. I ordered the wheeler loaded fries and the tierwester wings (added on two wings so I could try another stuffing) Out of the chicken and seafood boudain, the chicken was my favorite and the house chi sauce is very good. They had one of my favorite beers on tap St Arnold Art Car. Everyone we made contact with was polite and helpful and shout out to Brighton who took our order and was super patient and helpful since we had questions with it being our first time there. They are kind of pricey but everything is expensive these days. It was well worth it and we will definitely be back in the future.

We all can't do stuffed wings, but this would be the place to buy the manual if you needed to know how to do it. The place was a Shipleys at one point and the repurpose of the building looks good. That menu is one of the simplest no thrills things I've ever read! Like for real it's to the point. Like maybe 20ish items on one sheet? Now since I only got a drive thru order I only can talk about what I had: The Tierwestern Wing combo (Three stuffed wings stuffed with shrimp and crawfish boudin and a fries swap for collard greens coleslaw) delivered in a small brown container. Not a lot to it. The wings were fried to a deep golden brown, but tender. Nice thick skin that had to be dredged twice. First bite revealed the goodness inside! All that shrimp and crawfish came ooozing out! Great flavor with a light kick on the backend. That coleslaw tho!!! Whatever they put in that should be sold over the counter! The taste was savory and fulfilling. Almost cried when it was all gone! For real! You have to go check this place out!

The chicken was fried well. The stuffing was a bit much for my taste and my drink was far too sweet. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

We ordered all the flavors of their stuffed wings except the one with pork in it. Let me tell you those wings will change your life. Have them tossed in lemon pepper and thank me later! (Wink) Oh and def get their fries too!

First and foremost the customer service is absolutely outstanding. The food was bursting with so much flavor. The stuffed dirty rice and chicken was a party in my mouth. The mac and cheese stuffed chicken was another groovy idea. The atmosphere was the right kinda of noise. So if ur in the mood for some good old school outta box eating.
