"Stuph’D Beignets & Burgers specializes in fried-to-order beignets bursting with savory or sweet fillings, from Creole crawfish, shrimp, and crabmeat; Philly cheesesteak; and BBQ beef on the savory side; and sweets including traditional, cheesecake with strawberries, and a customer favorite, the sweet potato beignet. The 12 Best Beignets In New Orleans 2024

"Stuph’D in the 9th Ward is the spot for stuffed beignets. They've got an absolute laundry list of choices—we’re talking hot sausage, apple, grilled shrimp, brownie, and even walnut. Our top picks are the pecan pie and the Creole Queen, filled with crabmeat, crawfish, and shrimp. It's one of the few spots where you'll find both a perfect fry on the beignet and wildly delicious fillings. You should also get a glass of Dat Punch, which is like Kool-Aid but made with real fruit juices." - megan braden perry

Where to Eat in New Orleans’s Bywater Neighborhood

"Everything at Stuph’d is well stuffed — from fried to order beignets filled with the likes of Creole crawfish, grilled chicken, fried shrimp, and barbecue. Two beignets to an order, one popular special is a Philly cheese steak beignet oozing grilled steak, cheese, and fried onions. Burgers are filled with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, jalapenos, and bacon. Yes, there are sweet beignets filled with sweet potato pie and cheesecake." - Beth D'Addono, Clair Lorell

In my opinion, Stuph'D adds so much heart and soul to this neighborhood. While the wait is a bit long, it is truly worth it. Every single person employeed by this restaurant is incredibly hard working and knows how to leave someone feeling satisfied and like family. If you're just in town visiting, this place is a must stop. If you're lucky enough to be in town while the Rockefeller is still on the menu, do yourself a favor and experience it.

This is the classic New Orleans beignet taken to the next level. stuph’d absolutely earns its place on the Eater 38 list. Beignets are made to order and arrive piping hot under a massive layer of powdered sugar. I started with one order of sweet—two beignets: the strawberry cheesecake and the sweet potato. Both were excellent, the real standout was the strawberry cheesecake—warm, rich, and just sweet enough. Enjoyed my first order so much I ordered a second, before leaving, plain strawberry. Excellent as well, but less rich and creamy which I prefer. I ended up eating one immediately, the second saved for later. The space is vibrant, playful and welcoming, with casual counter service and murals by local artists that give it a cool look and feel. Slightly off the beaten path but well worth the journey. A must-stop for food lovers. I look forward to going back and working through each menu item. And yes—you’ll leave happily, gratefully covered in powdered sugar and want to do it all over again.

If you really want to experience beignets the right way in Nola come here . I had the sweet potato beignets which was 🔥. Very Tasty and the size of the beignets are incredible . You get two for a decent price and it’s worth it . I also had the shrimp and crabmeat beignets and as you can see I ate one before I could take a pic of it . It’s just that good . I know cafe du monde is a staple in Nola but Stuph’D changed the game . Also shout out to “Faith” our server. I wanted coffee and I didn’t see it on the menu. She made me some and I appreciate you for that. thank you . Custom service is prompt and the restaurant is very roomy and they make you feel at home . If you love beignets or even trying them for the first time like me come to Stuph’D .

I take back everything I said and if I sent you there ‘My bad’- but go somewhere else that values your time and money. Edit: Originally gave this place 5 star review back in 2021. Since, I constantly recommended this place. But what a difference 4 years make. I'll start with ordering, 12:20p we were 2nd in line with 6-7 ppl behind us. We were told it would be a 45min wait. Ok, fine. We’re headed out and this was the last meal. 1:34p comes, no updates for the server with the braces, no checking to see if we need anything, no acknowledgment of eta or the delay. 1:56p she comes to inform us they were out of praline filling At that moment, I should have just said take it off but instead ordered the oreo cheesecake beignet. 2:10p the food comes out and I’m not even gonna hold you, it was disappointing. The creole beignet was runny and noticeably less flavorful than my original visit. The oreo cheesecake beignet had a weird dark brown colored cream inside. It wasn’t the cheesecake filling or oreo so I got the server’s attn and asked what was the dark cream and filling inside? She seemed bothered that I stopped her and asked a question. She replied with a lil’ tude- thats the cheesecake. I said it doesn’t taste good nor has a good mouthfeel. Her lips curled and poked, eyes tightened. We asked for the check 2x. After the first time she said she was getting it, then came to the table without the check to tell us she was going to get it. And did I mention, the ppl behind us had come and gone while we sat lunchy and Then after zero service, the server had the audacity to say “there’s a 15% tip required, is that okay?” Absolutely not! I ordered 2 items that took over 2 hours. We left shortly before they closed at 3p. Stop using fast food line to justify subpar service. Reputable fine dining restaurant that produce “quality” food would never have 2 hour wait for fried dough. I shall never return nor recommend this place.

Google
SO glad we stopped by! This place ROCKS! Their beignets are delicious and perfectly prepared. We tried the Creole Queen savory beignet and the Oreo cheesecake beignet! Prices are $6 for regular beignets, with most others falling around $10-$20. (Comes with 2 per order) The staff was super friendly, shout out to Fey at the front, she was great!

Google
First time visiting Stuph'd and I was not disappointed. Such a sweet birthday treat. We ordered the Brownie and walnut beignets. So good. They were made to order so served hot. There was a bit of a wait but the music was enjoyable and atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was really nice. If you can't wait, call and order ahead of time. Definitely planning to revisit. There are so many more things I would like to try.

The hot sausage was piping hot so I needed to cut it open before I popped in my mouth. The berry cheese dessert was absolutely decadent. I wish I didn't share it! The staff was great, the spot was clean, bathrooms are huge, and the music was awesome.

Google
I really enjoyed this place. The staff was great! They were super friendly, and we were able to joke around with them. The drinks were great and the beignets were even better! I had the Creole Queen, which is a seafood stuffed beignet, and it was very good. Cooked just right. I also had the sweet potato beignet, and I am absolutely in Love with it!!! It was one of the best beignets I've ever had. I'd go back just for that alone. My friend had the lemon beignets, and they were drooling over them. They got the wings to eat and said they really liked those, too. It's definitely a place I'd recommend and that I'll be going back to!

Yelp
I've never tried a beignet like this. It was recommended by my cousin who now likes in NOLA. It didn't disappoint. The Cajun queen beignet was so savory and flavorful I'm coming back tomorrow (lol). The sweet beignet was totally delicious. My tastebuds were dancing when I left. The Southern hospitality here was welcoming and very much appreciated. I would recommend this place.

Yelp
It was very slow on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was very great and quick. I did not wait that long. This establishment was recommended by the locals. I came to check this out. The beignet and burger was delicious. This is something for tourists to checkout.

Yelp
I want to start off by saying The owners of this place should be ASHAMED at how hard they're making it for me to lose weight however, they make it WORTH IT. If you're in a rush and have someplace to be, don't go here, cause they will not rush FOR YOU, again, the wait is worth it. I got the rum punch and creole queen beignets. I took them To go and it took every ounce in my body for me not to finish them before I got home. That rum punch I Got, my lord was punching like Mike Tyson. A second would've knocked me out, Stuph'D for the win My mother-in-law got the pecan cheesecake and sweet potato cheesecake beignets. I should've ate them all but I think she woulda made me a human sacrifice, THOSE THINGS WERE THE BEST. They left a taste in my mouth that I desperately didn't want to wash away Being a New Orleans native, I hate that It took me so long to come here but I'm so glad I'm able to go back. Yall go to Stuph'D, there's nothing left to say.

Yelp
I got a stuffed bacon burger, strawberry and Oreo beignets. It takes a while to get your food so be prepared for that. Stuffing the burgers makes the meat taste a lil processed but it was still good. The strawberry beignet was stuffed with fresh strawberries and then fried, it works with the excess powdered sugar. The Oreo was fire. They stuff their beignets full and hot all the crushed up Oreos turns to almost a brownie texture...if your can stand the wait, try this place.

Yelp
Walked into the restaurant that says they close at 3 on Sunday but when we walked in the door at 2:55 they said the kitchen was closed while actively taking orders. I understand that the business closed at a certain time, but the door was unlocked and again they were actively taking an order for an undecided customer at the time. She did ask the kitchen and they said they would not make more orders. Disappointed we didn't get a chance to try any of their beignets, but that level of service doesn't make me want to go back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Continuing my savory beignets tour of NOLA. Ordered the Queen seafood beignets. One order of two enough for lunch for one person so if you want to try more than one bring more people to share multiple orders. Reminds me of empanadas or even meat pies in other countries. Very tasty and filling. My shell unlike a previous review was perfectly crispy. Nice service. I assumed everything is made to order as it does take some time for them to come out of the kitchen.

Yelp
I visited Stuph'D for the first time recently. It's a cozy space with lots of seating and music playing. I immediately noticed the sign near the register that said "We are not fast food, we move at the speed of quality" and that let me know that I was in for a wait...However, I wasn't expected to be waiting over an hour before receiving my order of the Creole Queen savory beignets. It took a lot for me not to leave because I didn't pay until my food came out but the lady at the counter was very sweet and apologetic. Once I got my food, it was super hot and fresh. The Creole Queen beignets are stuffed with crab meat, crawfish and shrimp in a creamy creole sauce. It was on the salty side but still yummy. The dough was not what I expecting in terms of fluffiness but I suppose it was a more sturdy dough to withstand all of the fillings. I do however think the pricing for the beignets is wild- I paid $23 for one order of the Creole Queen beignets and a bottle of water. I wish I'd tried a sweet beignet but I couldn't justify paying over $30 total for such an indulgence. Maybe next time...

Yelp
Listen! Very eclectic atmosphere. They've got a lil photo spot on the wall. Follow them on IG @get_stuphd. Ok enough plugging. These things are good! We got: Philly-3 out of 5 stars. Surf n turf- 4 out of 5 stars Grilled shrimp - 4 out of 5 stars Crawfish- Bus'n! 6 out of 5. That thing was good. They come in 2s. They also have sweet beignets. We got: Cheesecake 4.5 out of 5 Sweet potato 4 out of 5 I'm being funny but this spot is really good. The service was quick. They let you know they are not fast food. They cook when you order. It's worth the wait. Highly recommend but let me add this final remark. It's in Bywater area. A little outside of tourist New Orleans. We out here in Naw'lins!!

Yelp
Again a warm welcome they remembered my name the whole time I was there. They were out of the lemon berry and recommended berry cheesecake. I recommend a cocktail while you wait it is about a 1 beverage wait or 10-15 minutes. They had a steady influx of customers and they knew each other by name. They have been In business a long while now. The hours are difficult for 9-5 workers. Try them on the weekend or next day off. The flavor of adding the haut sausage made it a step above the normal Philly cheese steak. I recommend this if you like a little spice it was a great balance of steak and minced sausage. I will update once I have the berry cheesecake later tonight. I will now say this is a must try Taste of New Orleans. 2nd time in 2 years because I work while they are open today was a random day off. Great service, and amazing flavors. If you're not sure get the Creole queen. And any sweet beignets. Each order is 2 good size beignets. Get 2 flavors and share. This should be enough if you aren't starving. Try it it Y'all you will be glad you did I think.

Yelp
I do not know if it was a bad day or what but that "famous" Creole Queen beignet was horrible! It was so salty I barely ate a half of one. Overcooked, seafood was definitely frozen. The crawfish texture was rubbery. The drinks were good. Service slow and the workers were arguing. Didn't offer utensils or condiments but made known to leave a tip (signs everywhere) Cool art displayed for sale. Bathroom door didn't lock. Overall it's just overpriced "bar food".

Ian H.

Yelp
This place is a must try people, take to ride and enjoy. O my goodness what an awesome surprise this place was. Stayed within walking distance and before getting my ride to the airport decided to stop and have brunch. All I can say that dam chef can cook her azz off! I have the Crispy fried catfish and creamy grit, an order of bacon, egg and cheese stuffed beignets. We also ordered a side of classic beignets. OMG, good god almighty! All I needed was a gospel choir and I would be set for life! The artwork by the Auntieeeeee well outstanding. It spoke to me so much I had to purchase one of the eyes collection pieces to have in my home. Actually got the meet and chat with the artist Sheila Bankston aka (Auntie) What a joy, great spirit and fun to talk to.

Yelp
Yo this place should be talked about more! Let me just say first that the service was A+ as was the food! The nice lady at the front was very helpful as it was my first time here and the service never changed even when the restaurant got super busy. I'm glad I ended up making the stop here they have so many different flavors of beignets to try. If you're in the area make sure to stop by! The food took a while to come out but there's a bar to order a drink at while you wait. The inside is also decorated nicely with an artsy feel.

Kiarah D.

Yelp
Over all I would give this a 3.5. The wait was over an hour for a small beignet take out order but the staff was kind and pleasant. The food was okay, I felt like the beignets could've been more crispy and airy, they were kind of dense in our opinion. After spending $55 on 3 orders of these I really wanted to be blown away. I love the concept and idea of stuffed beignets I just felt like they fell short. Ingredients seemed fresh and plentiful. Just missed the mark with the actual beignets.

Yelp
I don't know why y'all waste your precious time and hard earned money getting beignets anywhere else. Stuffed or not, these are the best beignets I have ever had. Period. Argue witcha maw. Fillings aside, the beignets themselves are literally the perfect texture and flavor....and they even reheat well!! Naturally I had to try a a couple of flavors since I traveled all the way to the upper 9th for this divine culinary experience. At the recommendation of one of the employees, I got this crab stuffed beignet with shrimp. I also got the Creole Queen, stuffed with crab meat, crawfish, and shrimp. I needed to balance the safety with a sweet so I also got the lemon filled beignet. The Creole Queen was great, but it would have been even better without all of that sauce. I wanted to taste more of the seafood. The sauce was also ever so slightly salty, but still very good. I split that one with my best friend. That crab stuffed beignet with shrimp was EVERYTHING!!!! Y'all I could eat that everyday. For real. The seafood was so sweet and tender and flavorful.... And you know ain't nothing like no seafood fresh from the Gulf. Unfathomably delicious. The lemon beignet tasted like a combination of a lemon hand pie and a lemon meringue pie (minus the meringue topping). Very sweet, But very good. Definitely another one to share though. Aside from good food, there was also good energy all up and through the place. It was bright and colorful, with hand painted accoutrements adorning practically every surface. They were also selling art from local artists, and I was able to bring back a beautiful piece to hang in my office. The staff were so nice and brought really good energy. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're ever in New Orleans, or even in the general vicinity, you have to eat here. You'd be doing yourself a great disservice not to.

Yelp
First and foremost... the restaurants level of cleanliness was superb! The tables were cleaned promptly after each guest left, the bar area was maintained at all times and I could see into the kitchen area from where we sat at the bar and that was also kept clean and organized. I loved the staffs welcoming personalities and how they greeted each guest as they walked in. There were a lot of cute areas perfect for selfies and lots of beautiful art work for sale on the back wall. The food... was hot, fresh, delicious and worth the small wait. We had the Jalapeño and Cheddar stuph'd burger (the meat was cooked to perfection which made it juicy and it had a nice amount of jalapeños and cheese stuph'd in the center) I also loved how they used fresh spinach and tomatoes to dress it) We had a side of ranch fries, which how could you ever go wrong with that?! The Creole Queen stuph'd beignets (they did not skimp with the filling; shrimp, crawfish and crab meat mixed in a creole sauce) and the Praline Beignets (we took these to go bc we were literally STUFFED!) We ended up eating them as soon as we got home and they were cooked to just the right temperature. The praline was creamy and had pieces of pecan throughout. We ordered a couple of drinks: the strawberry lemonade and the strawberry cucumber lemonade. Both were fresh and well balanced in flavor. We will definitely be back because there's sooo much more to taste.

Yelp
Went to stuph'D and ate myself into a food coma! The seafood fries are amazing! The service was great. The place has a cute vibe going on. Black art for sale.

Yelp
OMG - I can't begin to say how happy I was that we were patient and waited to be seated. There's a sign when you walk in letting you know how long it could be from the time you're seated to the time you get your food. I am so grateful to have came here - I got the cheeseburger Beignet and the sausage one - both were absolutely delicious. We've (all the non- NOLA individuals) have recommended this establishment to so many people already, including a local, who makes us jealous every time she comes here.
google avatar

Bobby G.

Yelp
Outstanding food and excellent service! I am so glad we stumbled upon Stuph'D. Everything we had was unreal! This is a really cool, local spot to stop and try some outstanding stuffed beignets! We will make a habit to come back whenever we are in New Orleans!

Carlotta L.

Yelp
OMG!!!!! This place is top tier! We tried the creole queen, the sweet potatoes cheesecake, the strawberry, and the berry cheesecake! Every single one was delicious and very filling. An Uber driver recommended Stuph'd to us and of all the places that were recommended to us while in New Orleans did not measure up to Stuph'D!!!! The service was perfect and the entire restaurant was very clean including the restroom! The price was well worth it too! We tried the well known places in New Orleans and NONE OF THEM CAME CLOSE TO Stuph'D, not one! Trust me when I say this place should open more restaurants all over including Los Angeles and Long Beach!
google avatar

Charles H.

Yelp
OK! Service Old school New Orleans: no one's in a hurry. Signage emphasizes this (at least 3 times) before you order. "We are not fast food, We move at the speed of quality" Food Beignets: are HUGE, at least 4" X 4" - splittable (SEE PIC). The crust is the issue: rubbery and not fluffy like phyllo, but each is stuffed to the edges with filling.

Yelp
I went here during Essence Fest. The wait omg an hour and a half. But the crawfish was AMAZING!! I wanted to get another batch but they were closing. In my opinion I think they should stay open longer during special events, but entirely up to them. The service was good and the beignets was seasoned perfectly. My only suggestion on why I gave the 4 stars is the wait. I think only 1 person cooks, but maybe there should be preparation ahead or more help to get the wait time to at least 30 minutes. Have an excess of what usually sells out so the time can be cut short. Other than that everything else was good and the place was decorated nicely.

Mel D.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place soo badly based off of the reviews and TikTok's that I've seen. Parking was easy, we seen cars parked on the grass in the median so we did that too & had no issues. We ordered stuffed Philly cheesesteak beignets, mushroom & Swiss burger, another type of burger, crawfish fries, praline beignets & Oreo beignets. When it arrived to the table I could already see that it was overly fried/cooked. The burgers were soooooo dry. You know when you heat up a patty in the microwave & it loses its juiciness? Imagine that. The fries were stale and cool to touch. Philly cheesesteak beignets were almost burnt and the crawfish fries looked amazing but tasted like it was on the verge of going bad. The praline beignets were the best thing that we've tried. Oreo beignets were decent. Our total was $108 for everything that I listed plus 2 non alcoholic cold drinks. The cashier/hostess needs to take an etiquette class. We went to pay our check (if you dine in, you pay at the counter when you're finished) I explained to the cashier how I was paying in cash, she nodded ok but rang me up and handed me the tap to pay, I pushed it back, then explained again how I'd be paying in cash. She responded "NO! You NEED to tip my waiter" to which I responded "I am.... in cash". Can you say, entitled? I always tip 20% & still did even after that rude engagement & terrible food. If you eat here, don't say I didn't try to warn you. Just go in with low expectations so you don't get disappointed. TikTok & reviews 100% overhyped this place. UPDATE: added a photo of our food. Look at the color of my beignets compared to others in their reviews.

Yelp
The only thing great about this place is the customer service the beignet I had was the grilled chicken it most likely was better if it was fresh I went in ordered and told it was 45 mins as everyone knows I like it fresh I did what I had to do and waited over an hour and half for burnt and food that had been sitting and before u say anything ran to Lowe's came back went in to see if ready and was told 4 checks ahead of me I sat outside until the lady called to say it was ready so it was not like if was waiting on me I paid 28 dollars with tip for 5 wings fries a mini chicken beignet and strawberry lemonade once again only thing good is the older lady that takes orders and calls u when order is ready they have signs posted all over the counter how they pride themselves on fresh food but you can see by pic this is what I got
google avatar

Shannon I.

Yelp
I HAD to try this when I saw it was right down the street from our airbnb. Didn't get any pictures because I devoured my food. It was as good as I hoped. Creole queen and apple beignets are where it's at. Definitely make a stop

Stacey L.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting New Orleans for my birthday and were staying in the French Quarter. I had seen someone talk about this place on TikTok and put it on the maybe list as it's a bit of a walking distance from the French Quarter, but I am SO glad I did! We had the Creole Queen (Crab, Crawfish, Shrimp), the King Cake, and the Pecan Pie; all three were amazing. The King Cake was a special one for Mardi Gras time. I enjoyed it immensely. I was SUPER sweet. Like their signs say, it is NOT fast food. So allow yourself some time to order and let them cook; I promise it's worth it! We just got a couple of adult strawberry lemonades and relaxed while we waited. We came to New Orleans for the food and this was definitely a highlight!

Angora S.

Yelp
The food was fresh and of great quality. I ordered the Philly with jalapeños, pepperoni, lemon Berry, Oreo, and the berry cucumber lemonade. We all enjoyed everything. The service was kind and accommodating. Very welcoming environment with lovely art work on display that is also available for sale. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. I can't wait to return, my family loves everything.
google avatar

Yelp
DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. This is a must experience. MUST. We had: grilled shrimp & crap stuffed beignets; Philly cheesesteak stuffed beignets; hot crumbled sausage, egg, cheese stuffed beignets; and Oreo stuffed beignets. We were told we HAD to try the sweet potato pie stuffed beignets by a regular so we are waiting on those. Also.. everything home made and home brewed down to the cucumber lemonade, sweet tea, and spiked berry lemonade that I had. Amazing.

Yelp
The worse service EVER! I went in with my family and my friends followed... they tried to make us sit together instead of having our own tables so we could then have our own checks. We had two big families so we wanted to sit back to back by the booths. The place was empty besides us and they refused to sit us separately. Needless to say I will never back! It's ALL ABOUT customer service for me! I'll take my coins somewhere where I'm treated with respect.

Yelp
5 stars but come early if possible. First day we came an hour before closing and they were sold out. You may wait a while for your food but it's definitely worth the wait. I'll be coming back for sure! We had the strawberry cucumber lemonade which was very refreshing ,the Philly cheesecake and the creole Queen beignet The creole queen was my favorite! Seasoned to perfection. The staff was also friendly.

Yelp
SO GOOD! be prepared to wait a little for your food but it is definitely worth it. Really friendly staff, and very yummy beignets. Small outdoor seating area with umbrellas and you can bring your dog with you to sit outside which is also nice! They even have a dog water bowl! Also lemonade SLAPPED

Yelp
One of the best places I ate in NOLA! Great food and friendly staff. Very homey feel to the place

Yelp
The best! I have never in my life seen my 6 year old react that way to food...after smashing two pepperoni beignets his sister passed him a lemon pepper chicken wing, he took a bite and just threw it back at the table and said "now I can go to heaven" People were friendly we got there right before they closed and they let us chill til we finished. Every single thing we tried was amazing! We will be back next time we're in town

Yelp
Food is yummy! Price is honestly fine for what you're getting, but it's not super cheap. Food can take awhile, especially on busy days, but it is worth it. I love that they have art available for sale as well.

Yelp
Great place a bit far from the touristy area. There were seatings indoors and outdoors. Staff were amazingly kind. We ordered the creole queen and surf n turf stuffed beignets. They came in two's! Both were good but it was very salty especially the creole queen. They were very filling though. I could only finish almost one beignet and was full already. Overall, experience was good. If in the area again, will probably try other ones!

Yelp
Very horrible customer service. Not respectful to customers but I guess that's what's to be expected from a location like this. All I wanted was beignets. Accommodations could be way better here. They do not have you order at table have to order at register then proceed to be rude. Ordered water did not receive it then asked about it just to have a rude reaction.

Yelp
I finally stopped by Stuph'D and I definitely left stuffed. I tried the crawfish and Philly cheesesteak beignets. Unfortunately, they were out of burgers the day I visited. The sweet tea was sweet! Stuph'D serves sweet and savory beignets. The restaurant is also vegan friendly. My brother loved the veggie and Oreo beignets. Catch the sweet ladies of Stuph'D at this year's Beignet Festival or stop by their colorful storefront.

Yelp
This is going to become a New Orleans staple food. These stuffed beignets are ICONIC. We found easy parking out front when we arrived and entered the establishment. The decor is bright and welcoming with plenty of seating. We ordered at the counter and grabbed a seat. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out and the restaurant was completely empty. Just be warned - they are definitely made to order, so it does take a while to get your food. So worth it! We got the creole queen and the oreo. The flavors are unique and really delicious. Each order comes with 2 so they are perfect for sharing. After we ate these, we ended up ordering a surf and turf and a creole queen to-go as well. I do think the beignets are a little too expensive for what they are, and that may hurt this establishment in the future. Their hours are also very limiting, so I can see that being an issue as well. We'll be back on our next visit!

Yelp
I love this place. It's actually one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is absolutely amazing, but they really need to change their hours. They will not accept any mobile orders or even answer the phone after 3:40pm. It's very upsetting. They are not open till 5pm, do not let their hours fool you. Apart from that they are a very nice family business.

Yelp
Delicious!!!!! Better than a meat pie the crust is nice and crispy but the filling... the crab shrimp crawfish combo together with the sauce takes it to a whole Nother level. Just get it totally worth it. Also the apple beignets oh my gosh, large portion size enough for 2 to totally have their fill. Totally satisfied

Yelp
They have sweet and savory beignets , it was a great culinary experience to try out if you visit new Orleans, In my book they beat that other tourist trap that sells the little one with powdered sugar

Yelp
This place had genuinely life changing beignets. It was absolutely worth going out of the way for. They have different options for sweet and savory beignets. I highly recommend the crawfish and the pecan praline beignets.

Yelp
I had seen pictures of this place on here and other social media sites and knew I had to come. I stopped by on Easter Sunday thinking they would be open. They were not. I came by after I got off work during the week and got the Creole Queen beignets and the Pecan Pie beignets to go. The guy working was very cute looking. I got everything and took it home. Oh. My. Goodness. Freaking amazing. Perfection. There is no off-street parking, and in a kind of changing neighborhood, so lock your doors and be aware of your surroundings. So why only four stars? When I got home and looked at my receipt there was a 15% surcharge. I am not sure what that is all about. But, I will be back! Eventually. And I will ask about that surcharge and follow-up!

Yelp
I stopped by on a weekday afternoon about an hour before closing. I ordered a few varieties for my friends and I to try, focusing on the sweet flavors. Unfortunately sweet potato pie was sold out, so I ordered pecan pie instead. Each order includes two beignets. Some were larger than others but that was fine with me as all were at least palm size (about 5 square inches) to leave a person STUPH'D! Pros: genuinely friendly customer service, fresh ingredients, high quality beignets, clean restaurant, comfy bar seating, TV on the wall, my friends enjoyed the strawberry lemonade too Cons: I missed out on sweet potato that day lol; n/a My frst trip was a success. I'll return earlier in the day to try a few of the savory varieties. NOTE: their current location on St Claude is mostly indoor with a few tables outside of the entrance (no outdoor deck at this location)

Yelp
We drove by and the area where the store was located was concerning to us and we are from out of town. We opt to order a delivery. It arrived warm! We tried the Creole Queen and the Berry Cheesecake options - they're good in size and yummy! Creole Queen was quite greasy and the flavoring was a little less than expected for a Creole dish. The berry cheesecake was very filling and AMAZING! I hope our next visit to Metairie we decide to visit the store front location because we've heard good things of the ownership!

Yelp
no better place to get beignets, point blank period. Their stuffed seafood options hit the spot every time and their sweet stuffings are perfect desserts

Yelp
The staff were great and the beignets were really good. I had the apple & the lemon berry--both cone with 2 per order. The apple was my my favorite. The lemon Berry were super rich and had more lemon than I expected and wanted but otherwise they were still good. I also ordered the stream berry cucumber lemonade which was really good and refreshing. There are some other flavors including some the savory flavors that I want to try so I'll definitely be back in the future.

Yelp
Entitled terrible service. Multiple signs telling you to tip. And not to expect your food very fast. For heaven sakes if you are that worried about a tip, shouldn't you provide service? I had one item and they rang it up incorrectly. I was overcharged. Without asking me she assumed my order was to go and graciously charged me another dollar and a half. I wish she would've turned the tablet around, and I could've rang up my own order, you know like you do at McDonald's. The reason I went to grab a bite to eat that day was because I had some dental work done and couldn't eat anything that was needed to be chewed and I was in pain and really not feeling well. Was not asked if I wanted anything to drink and forgot to tell them I wanted a glass of water. I had to go back up to the counter to interrupt her conversation with two other employees who were doing nothing to ask for said glass of water. Also wound up eating half of my meal with nothing to drink because once the order came out, I was summoned to the counter, told to grab it myself, and sit down. You tell people not to expect Mickey D's food delivery but you offer Mickey D's service. Shame on this establishment. It's too bad. The beignet was very good but just a toxic service environment . I came in an hour before closing. There were people at two tables. One had ordered ,one was eating their food. It took approximately 25 minutes for me to get a dessert beignet... with tip. I paid $19.00. 20 minutes after I got there a table of three walked in and they got their food shortly behind me. Why is that? Well because the place was closing in a half hour. But at least they waited on these people. I saw another review , somebody came in from out of town half hour before closing, and they refused to serve them.

Yelp
When you walk in you see a sign that reads "We are NOT fast food. We move at the speed of quality." And they are absolutely right. If you're in a hurry this may not be the spot for you. I waited over 40 minutes for my food but here's the thing. I enjoyed every minute of the wait. I interacted with the pleasant staff and other customers. Everyone was in a good mood and talking. It felt as if I was hanging out with friends. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Good for a solo outing or to meet up with friends. As for the food... Claude ham mercy it was sooooooo good and worth the wait. I enjoyed the Creole Queen Beignets which are stuffed with crawfish, crab and shrimp. I had a side of fries and ended this meal with the sweet potato stuffed beignets!! 10 out of 10! I'll definitely be back.
