We originally went for the wagyu chopped cheese steak sandwich which was like a burger but with shredded beef ... we ended up eating 2–those were amazing! Philly subs were great. Meaty and cheesy! Friendly staff. Quick but not messy service. Clean location.

$19 for a “cheesesteak” combo may as well call it a steak sub. No cheese and when I asked for more they refused to add it to both sides lol 🤡

Josh’s Wagyu chop was delicious I Also tried your other subs. There are all fresh great and delicious.

We’re huge supporters of small business and finally there’s a heavy weight contender of subs in the South Miami area. We were greeted by a few locals and they were raving about the subs and the taste. Speak no more; Challenge Accepted!!!! It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to speak with the owner (EJ) as well as the gentleman who designed the “Subby’s” mascot. The place is very clean, the staff were all smiles and welcoming and the food well there’s nothing much more than can be said than OUTSTANDING!!! I had the Large BBQ Steak & Cheese and it was on point. The sub was huge, had a great and was prepared perfectly. My wife had the mushroom steak and cheese and it was also perfect. The amount of meat on either sub was very generous. Looks like I may have found a new favorite spot to relax and have a good meal. We will be back.

My wife wanted to try this sub place and I love my life and happiness so we went. They did not disappoint. We started of with the steakbomb and we were impressed. It was so good we decided to try their chicken Caesar sub. The quality is superb and the staff was very friendly. I see myself going back for another steakbomb soon.

Would add 6 stars if I could. I am someone who stops by Philly every time I used to drive through on the road between DC and NYC. If you've ever had a real cheesesteak on an Amoroso roll, you know this place is the closest thing to it. (idk if they actually use an amoroso roll, but if they dont its just as good). I've had a hard time finding a REAL NORTHEAS style sub-shop in Miami, and this is the Real Deal. I think I have been ordering at least once a week as my "treat" because of how good this is. I've seen some very negative comments complain it's pricey and not Casola's and Flanigan's. In a way, the comment is absolutely right, this isn't Casola's or Flanigan's, and therefore you won't end up with a disappointing sandwich with non shaved steak on bad bread the way you do at those places. If you want to say holy **** how can a sandwich be so good, go to Subby's. The fact that I have written a comment this long about my love for a sandwich should be a sign to go here. Subby's is one of many food spots that has been at the forefront of Downtown South Miami's Renaissance. More importantly, as someone that's part of a fellow South Miami family food business, it is great to see our community and downtown flourishing due to GENUINE family businesses owned by people in our neighborhood. When I see the partnership with Josh's Premium Meats, that is what community is about. Subby's is much more than a Sub Shop, it's a valuable addition to the fabric of South Miami.

A meager sub joint that charges upward of 25 dollars! for an 8 inch sandwich 🙄. I never thought I would say this but at least Subway still has a footlong

I absolutely love this place!!!!!!! I wasn’t a subs girly but now for sure I am, the philly steak sub is THE BEST every. single. time. This is a favorite for me & my hubby for sure ♥️🙌🏻😘

I do not know what took me so long to try Subby's but wow, I am so happy I did. There are certain times when an oversized, stuffed sub hits the spot, and last week when a craving for an Italian sub hit, I knew just want I wanted to order. I placed my order via UberEats and shortly after the Italian sandwich of my dreams arrived. This sub had a lot of meat, it also had the perfect ratio of toppings, which I did select. I looove good hot and sweet peppers and they were delish. This sub was also huge. Granted, I did get the large but for this party of 1 it was enough to keep leftovers and enjoy the second half later. I would definitely love to try some of their hot subs, I'm just a sucker for a good Italian sub and this one was A++! Don't be like me and wait too long to discover your new favorite sub spot.

I don't get how people like Subby's! I had the honey mustard chicken, which I get at all the sub shops around. If you want a better honey mustard chicken sub, go to Tamiami Subs. Hungry Bear is also much better. Staff was friendly.

I got takeout from Subbys and it did NOT disappoint. First of all, the team who works there is wonderful, they were all so nice and welcoming! Secondly, the food- I ordered a cheese steak wrap, 11/10. Delicious! Fresh! And not greasy! Highly recommend and I can't wait to order again!

Been wanting to try Subbys for a while now and it did not disappoint. We went on a Sunday in the afternoon and there were quite a few people there ordering food. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating options. We waited about 10 mins for the subs to be made. I ordered the chopped cheese and it was so good. I had seen videos about it online and I'm glad it lived up to the hype. I opted for no ketchup and got it with mayo, onions, and cheese. I might ask for a bit more onions next time because the amount it came with kind of got lost with the meat and bread. It comes in only one size which was more than enough for me. I left very full and satisfied. Really looking forward to coming again to have the chopped cheese again or try another sandwich!

Large over-stuffed delicious subs are plentiful in this small sub shop. My favorite is the Chicken Caesar Sub with olives & tomatoes. It really hits the spot. I always order the small size & it is more than enough for one person. Their bread is always soft & fluffy, which makes for the perfect sandwich base. Their customer service is always excellent with the friendliest staff.

Finally got to try this place!! Ordered the large Mushroom Steak & Onion on white bread with provolone cheese. They chop up the steak fine so it's really good and you're not fighting with the meat. It was delicious, although it was a bit expensive at $17.

service was great. the vibes between the coworkers seemed nice. i was pleasantly surprised by how good the sub was. i got a hot sub ham salami and cheese and loved it. will definitely be returning!! great local spot in south miami

I had a delicious Steak Bomb with everything on it. And it was Da bom!!!! The music suits the general ambiance of the upbeat establishment. The lobby & kitchen is meticulously clean & the employees that I met are super helpful & polite. Definitely a place I will be back to. Got recommended by Dr. Alexandre's office. Keep up the great food. This place will be bustling soon.

Place has an amazing cheesesteak with all the peppers and onions. Don't hesitate give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

One of the best subs I have tasted in my life. Everything is so fresh and made to order. The service is amazing. I've tried multiple subs but my favorite is the chicken bacon ranch with everything! You won't be disappointed!

Service here is definitely great! Staff were efficient and super attentive which I really appreciated. Definitely started my experience off on the right foot. Place is clean as well. But my absolute favorite part about being here was the fact that they play all the 90s-2000s hits! The decor and music combo definitely helped in adding that nostalgic (or as the new aged kids say "Y2K") feel. I ordered the honey mustard sub and the bread was super soft which I loved and overall the sub was good. I personally didn't feel like my sub was too "bready" as I see a lot of people have notated. I also like that they offered a wheat alternative. However I will say the sub wasn't the absolute best I've had. I wouldn't go as far as to call in mediocre because it was good and definitely did the job. However I will say my sub wasn't all that impressionable. The other people of my party who also got subs described them similarly. Would definitely return to give it another try! Maybe opt for a different sub to see if it's just a matter of menu choices? Definitely recommend trying this spot out on your own to see if it gives you a different impression.

One of the best sub shop around. Highly recommended. It's quite expensive but makes up for it in flavor Ice machine was having issue but the drinks still came out cold. Server is always very polite and welcoming. It gives a old school type of sub shop vibe they don't have much areas to sit so is better for take out in my opinion none the less the ambiance was great! Ohh and chipotle mayo Highly recommended!

New guy in South Miami makin noise! Cool sub spot with plenty of room to get a great sub! Parking is a little bit of a hassle but be patient. Had to get the cheesesteak and a honey chicken sub. They were great, plenty of flavor and we got the small sandwiches. Paired with some Voodoo and Baked BBQ chips and an ice cold soda ( with the ice everyone loves) it was a hardy midday pick me up. The service was quick, in a busy lunch hour. I will be back to grab another.

I stopped by Subby's because I kept hearing about how good their subs were. I ordered a buffalo chicken sub, I have to say I left disappointed. The staff was nice and all, but the sandwich wasn't tasty at all. They made it exactly the way I like it, but the flavor of the chicken and the toppings feel flat. Maybe it was an anomaly, I would go back and try something else.

The service was really good here. I ordered a cheese steak with almost everything on it, the meat quality was outstanding. I was not a fan of the bread. Not sure what it is, a lot of small sub shops all use the same kind/brand of hoagie bread. I wish they were a bit more creative in that area, other then that great sandwiches.

This place is a well-kept secret. I tried the wagyu beef sandwich. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed.

I was excited to try this sandwich. Although not overly greasy, the American cheese completely overpowered the flavor. The service here was absolutely phenomenal and they were very attentive to the customer's needs. From a feel and atmosphere perspective you get the same you would any burger spot. I will try this sandwich again with a different type of cheese.

Eat at this place for lunch recently - I ordered a Philly cheese steak . Sub was good ; feel like it could have been cheesier . Ordered it with provolone and could barely see it.

Heard about the place from a friend. Swung by with my daughter to grab some cheesesteak subs. Wow! The were really good and I am cheesesteak connoisseur . The sub roll is really fresh and perfectly chewy, the steak meat is good quality and perfectly seasoned, add the cheese and onion, damn near perfect sub. Can't wait to try the rest of their subs.

I must say this has to be the best sandwich I've had. I devoured mine like inhaled it. Hot grilled Ham & Swiss cheese with onions and cilantro garlic dressing with salt & pepper. PERFECTION

Come along with me to try Subby's Subs shop in south Miami. They offer a wide variety of cold and hot subs. This time I had the small Cheese Steak sub with yellow American cheese, lettuce, and mayo. I had this sub on Saturday and I still think about it. The steak was tender and flavorful, combined with the other ingredients this sub was magical. Can't wait to try another sub from Subby's next time.

First impression : very clean place... very good vibes and great music. Made me feel happy. Service : greeted by John mickens. Excellent customer service , very nice guy and helpful. Made me feel at home. Sub: honey mustard chicken ... was delicious !!!!! Wow. This was my first time here and for sure I'll be coming at least once a week. Price is reasonable. Large sub with chips and soda $20 The entire staff today (Sunday) was very nice. It's one of those feelings that it seems everyone is happy at their job. Keep up the great work Subby's

This place is great! Not just one sub is good. Have this place at least twice a week! Food is always ready for pick up and the staff is always friendly. If in South Miami and want a sub, definitely recommend Subby's.

Just walking into Subby's makes you feel good with their warm staff eagerly greeting you. I ordered a small steak and cheese and the sub was good. The steak was a little chewy and if there wasn't any cheese added, the flavor would have been a bit on the bland side. Other than that, the small is a good size and they really pack their subs when preparing them.

We just came to Subby and wow! We give it a 10 out of 10 everything on our Philly cheesesteak was fresh. The meat was savory and delicious. I mean this is anything that you could want in a Philly cheesesteak definitely will come back! Wow! Wow! Wow!

I'm not a fan personally, but if you like your subs extremely bready then this is your place. Also even with all of the toppings, the sandwich itself lacked a lot of flavor. Staff is rude, not very friendly and felt like I was rushed out of there. They really missed the mark here. Felt like I was better off going to Jersey Mikes. Sad because I had high expectations about this place, but it is what it is - always best to share the truth.

Came here on a Sunday morning for my second time in a week. I usually don't leave reviews on sub shops because they aren't really that good. A young man named John took my order. I don't think I've received service like that in a while not only did ask me my name he let me know that he appreciated my business and he brought the subs out to the truck when they were finished because I was with my golden retriever, I haven't eaten the sandwiches yet, but the ones I had the other day were pretty fantastic comparatively to other sandwiches in the area, that level of service that I just received is not common and I really appreciate it. I'll be sure to be back. Keep up the good work guys and ladies.

I was t overly impressed, drove 40 min each way to try this. It was good but it was def lacking something came in a Sunday so it wasn't too busy. I thought with all the hype and instagram ive been seeing I was expecting more

Very overpriced, and very below average taste and quality of food. Not to mention I had one customer infront of me and waited nearly 25 min sites for my sub. I got two steak subs with chips and a drink and my total came out to over 40 dollars lol

As my fellow native "Miami-ans" say, nada que ver (nothing to see) .. place is in a great location, is clean, and has a very to the point menu. Just the subs are mediocre, overly bready, and messy (if you eat it in). Regardless of whether you eat in or take it to go, they should WRAP the sub, in the paper - so that it takes shape and holds together when you go eat it. Apart from the flavors being bland, the subs were a mess. These guys and Jholano's are taxed for what you get, but if they succeed it's because of UM kids, that don't know any better & Uber Eats, purely out of convenience. Hungry Bear is also dog food but is better and if you know you know, the only sub shop in Miami worth going to is Super Subs Etc on bird. No bullshit social media or advertising - just good subs that have stood the test of time.

Incredibly flavorful and well made subs. Picture quality, splits in half like butter. The service is equally great. I was the only patron for early dinner and it was very relaxing to enjoy the sandwich in peace. Massive compliments to the chef and team. It's also very clean inside :)

Ordered 2 hot pastrami subs. Bread was soft and fresh, sandwiches were hot, but pastrami had zero flavor. Never tasted such bland pastrami. Won't be coming back.

Ok let me tell you how much we love Subby's...best sub shop in Miami! I know it's new but they are killing it! The meats in the Italian sub are top quality and not too salty like a certain place out of Jersey. The bread is fresh and excellent as well! They load on the meats too! My son ordered a veggie sub and absolutely loved it! We ordered online and it was so easy and straight forward. Keep up the great work Subby's we'll be back soon!

Honey mustard chicken and the wagyu chopped cheese are the best sandwiches in town. Elite bread and protein/condiments. Efficient service time as well. Consistent and reliable. Can't ask for more.

Good food but they have messed up my order multiple times already. After waiting 20 minutes past my pickup time, they still messed up my order and didn't put any toppings. This is the second time the same thing happens. I'm done with subbys and overpaying for sandwiches that they continuously mess up

Great experience. Our first time here. I had the Chicken Bomb and my husband had the hot pastrami sub. I felt like I was back in high school going to my favorite sub shop. Super fresh and soooo.... good. Great service. Definitely coming back.

When you order an Italian Sub and the nice girl at the counter asks "What would you like on it?" you know you should leave. Well I took chance and it did not pan out well. The sandwich was ok but lacked flavor, perhaps resulting from the bun size. On another occasion, I ordered the cheesesteak, another overpriced disappointment.
