Sublime Doughnuts

I really wanted to enjoy these donuts. This was the second time I have been to Sublime. The first time I went the donuts were a bit on the dry side. Though the donuts were quite pretty, they were also quite stale. I typically like to give a business a couple of chances. I had the same experience the SECOND visit. Sadly, I won't come back for a third time. Why even bother selling old donuts?

I’m obsessed with the donuts from this place! They’re always super fresh, whether I grab them in the morning or late at night. So soft, fluffy, and the variety is amazing. The strawberry-filled one is my absolute favorite 😝it’s seriously so good! I also love that they’re open 24 hours

The donuts were good. Customer service could use a little boost especially considering the cost of a half dozen donuts.

I never give bad reviews but I just can’t let this go. Early yesterday morning I picked up an order for a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” box. This box is almost $46 including tax. I have gotten this box before from the other location and it was beautiful so I know how it should be served, and what I got yesterday was not it. For reference I will post a pic of the beautiful box, and then the lazy thrown together box I received yesterday. Both pics will be labeled. There were no dots on the “A” donuts to signify they were A’s, the “D” donut was burned, and the letters were not even arranged to where they spelled out DAY at the bottom. This was not anywhere near what a $46 box of donuts should look like. I voiced my concerns to the young lady that was there early yesterday morning and although she was not rude, she was very uncaring. She said the cutter is why the Y looked malnourished, but how can that be the case when I’ve gotten a perfectly fine looking “Y’ donut before? Also, she offered to add the frosting dot to the A donuts so they would look more like A’s which I appreciated, but girl that’s how it’s advertised in the picture on the menu. Why didn’t you do that in the first place? Everything is expensive these days, and if you all want customers who are willing to pay darn near $50 for 13 donuts, you better come CORRECT. EVERY TIME. I will not be purchasing this box again and I would encourage you all to proceed with caution. They tasted good, but this box is for aesthetic purposes as well as taste so the goal was not accomplished.

Sublime is a bakeshop with two brick-and-mortar locations (Druid Hills and Briarcliff and near Georgia Tech) specializing in unique flavor combinations. It is open 24/7 to satisfy anyone’s sugar cravings. My household’s box usually starts with original glazed, Honey Glazed Bowtie, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Apple Fritter, Cinnamon Swirl, Maple Bacon, and Strawberries and Cream. Then we usually ask the staff members for their picks to complete the box. If I am feeling really brazen, I’ll go for the one with Fruity Pebbles!

First time here. Great selection of donuts. Unique flavors offered. Fresh donuts. Went late night and amazed at the selection. Young man working was so helpful and gave great customer service. Already went back again.

I saw sublime donuts, while passing to a destination, and was in the mood for a sweet treat. Upon arrival I was greeted by the sweetest and most insightful worker, while entering sublime. He greeted me with kindness, and helped me to make my donut selections as I was very indecisive to so many great choices to choose from. He gave me the best choice options, and I was very pleased, and was so nice throughout the process. He really knew what he was talking and made my experience all the more merrier. The donuts were so yummy and were everything I was craving. I loved the chocolatey bit on the Nutella donut, the dough was so soft and yummy, and the apple croissant was to die for. I will definitely be coming here again whenever I get my donut cravings. Thank you sublime donuts! It was such a great experience and a highlight of my day, not to mention very cost sufficient!!

Just stopped in to pick up a treat on a Sunday afternoon. I know that afternoon donuts are going to be a little less fresh than first thing in the morning, but I’ve had donuts from the back of a gas station case that tasted better than these. I got a dulce de leche donut and a red velvet cake donut and both were rock hard and stale. For 3.00 a donut, I feel robbed. Don’t waste your money or calories.

I have no complaints these donuts were fantastic, fresh as well. Here's what I ordered and my take on each one: Orange Dream Star - VERY tart, doesn't taste much like orange. Cream filled. A-Town Cream - Reese's peanut butter cup - Soooo good tastes like the real thing. Fresh Strawberries & Cream - MUST TRY, probably my favorite out of all. Nestle Crunch Honey-Glazed Bowtie

I like coming to sublime whenever I'm near their locations but tonight I had the worst experience and unfortunately I don't think I will be coming back! First of the place looks a mess inside like there's no upkeep and the lady working tonight was on her phone talking for at least 10 minutes before she even said anything and even when she got off her phone she still didn't say anything. I asked her a few questions about the donuts and pricing and she was very not helpful and then to top it off when I finally got the chance to eat a donut the one I took a bite from had plastic IN IT!!!! Worst experience with customer service and worst experience with their donuts.

You order at the counter for your donuts. A good variety of flavors and some unique. Some flavors are great and some not as good as expected. The a town Boston cream is amazing but the banana fritter was disappointing. Sign at the counter if you order 6, you can get a dollar off. Not as inexpensive as some other area donut places.

The donuts are good on preference. First time I visited I got two dozens for coworkers party. Previously I never tried them. I been back like 2 or 3 times maybe after. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. It's like you have to try to see which donuts you like the best. It's great to see them have success and a great following. My cousin was in town and I know that she likes strawberries so I got some of the strawberry cream donuts and I got a white chocolate peach donut and 2 A donuts cream filled. Cream is there but not fully filled like other donuts I had. Donuts price are like twice of other Donut places.

Came here for some coffee and doughnuts. This venue is not on the main road and it looks closed at night but it is definitely open since it is a 24/7 establishment. They have a dim lit sign that shows they are open. I ordered the Fresh strawberries and cream doughnut, nutella doughnut, and oreo doughnut. The strawberries was the best donut and actually had fresh strawberries in it. The Oreo has plenty of oreo crumbles but is not spectacular. The nutella tastes great but will take all the moisture out your mouth. The doughnuts are decent and it did the job. The staff was kool and fast with service.

Best donuts in ATL. Get the A town donut covered with dark chocolate and raspberry jam, stupid good! The whipped cream one filled with strawberries is also delightful. Great folks who take care of you as well. PLEASE, if you're going to get a donut, get a GOOD one from Sublime!

The pastries were fresh and delicious. The store was clean and inviting. The 24 hours is wonderful for late night desserts

Yum! Yum! Yum !! I say! Sublime Doughnuts are simply just that: sublime! As a lover of most things sweet, it goes without saying that I enjoy a good gourmet doughnut. The sweeter the better in my book! Though this was not my first occasion visiting Sublime Doughnuts, this was my first opportunity of capturing the doughnuts before devouring them. A fan of their fruity pebbles and Oreo doughnuts (which are pictured) I also finally got the chance to try their strawberry shortcake doughnuts and it didn't disappoint!! The doughnut are a great size. There isn't a lack on the toppings / fillings and if you don't have a big sweet tooth, they are great to share! The restaurant itself is usually pretty quiet with minimal to no lines / wait time. The staff is super kind and prompt. And they are also open late (2:00AM to be exact) so you can scratch that sweet tooth itch into the wee hours if needed. Price point is to expected for gourmet doughnuts but very much worth it in my book. Not pictured but was pretty good was the peach cobbler fritter. However, the peach topping was a bit too light for me. Would have preferred to taste more of the peach cobbler topping. The dough was nice and flaky though. Beyond that, all good! Also, before I close this out, they do offer ice cream and coffee and other beverages. Have yet to have a bad doughnut yet! So, Sublime Doughnuts is highly recommended!!

Sublime was introduced to me years ago. I have always had a very positive experience visiting. A friend and I went on a late night donut run. She had never been. I really dislike bragging on a place and service not be what you said. Here we go. We stopped at the Briarcliff location around 11pm last night. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Not visible from the main road, but Waze takes you right there. It sits in the plaza behind Walgreens off Briarcliff. If you see Target, you have gone down too far coming from the highway away from downtown. Love the changes to the inside of the establishment! Love the decor. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The girl who helped us asked if we had been before. My friend said no. She pointed to the donuts readily available and the donut menu. Note readily available. She tells us the special of $1 off if u buy 12. Anyway, my friend starts selecting donuts. The girl is entering them. She asks about the Atown donut. I wanted 2, and she wanted 2. The girl at the other register is taking an order. That person took 2 of the Atown donuts. I said well now there are only 2. Are there more in the back? The girl not helping us says I can make more when I get my line down. It will be 5 to 7 minutes. I said okay. My friend asked for another donut. The girl helping us says we are out. We are paying. The other girl has a customer ask about the same donut my friend did. She says I do not mind making more donuts. You would just need to wait a few minutes. They say never mind. It was frustrating to have our person not offer this at all. Again, a negative experience was created about a place I bragged about. One employee is very helpful and willing to fill in orders. The other only offers what is visible to the eye. The second point of frustration was the actual donut. She made mine and brought them. I ate one in the car. I was a good 60% done with the donut before I got any of the cream filling. She barely put any filling in either of my Atown donuts. I was disappointed. I hadn't been in a while, and it was late. However, I hope these issues are addressed. I can't refer a business with a great product, usually but inconsistent service. $40 spent and not feeling the best about the purchase.

Yesterday I saw a tiktok and ran to Yelp for reviews, I've been thinking about these donuts all night. They were a TOTAL letdown, the verity sounds better than the actual taste. On top of that I picked a peach fritter as part of my 1/2 dozen order but was given a damn cinnamon roll instead. They tape the box up so I didn't notice it until I got all the back to my daughter's house. Let's get shall we: Reese cup: the flavor 5/5 but the dough was OFF! I like pillowy fluffy donuts, these are not that. Peach fritter: I don't know because I was given a cinnamon roll instead, plain icing: if I've had that from one spot I've had it from all! Berry fritter: Will I call this a fritter? NO!!!!! It doesn't look like one, it doesn't have the crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside consistency like a fritter should either. The flavor was sub par (at best). My husband got an Oreo donut (he's yet to touch it sooooo and a cheese danish. I tasted it and it's lacking in flavor and AGAIN with the off dough. He also got a cold brew which is still sitting in the cup holder 3/4 full. Take that as a HARD NO! And I got the baby a plain twist, if we're going off his review than it's a 5/5 because his 2yo self ate it throughout the day. Will I return? Nope! The 2 stars is for the creative flavors.

We were greeted upon entry and advised that some fresh items were coming out! The case was stocked ! The customer service was excellent! I recommend the Frosted Croissant and the Fresh Strawberry N Cream! The Chocolate Banana fritter is good also.... The setup is cute and cozy I could see people enjoying dining in.... They are open 24 hours!

Good quick bites! So glad Sublime is open 24 hours. The service is always friendly. Nice comfortable atmosphere. This place has a wide variety of sweet treats to accommodate all preferences.

I can't imagine you'd dislike this place if you love doughnuts. Every single one I've had here were delicious! Sublime offers a wide variety of flavors and each doughnut I've tasted were fresh. The shop is clean, too, and is open 24/7.

Absolutely amazing, the Glazed Croissant doughnut was delicious, I really enjoyed how friendly the waiter was and how helpful he was with my very first selection. It was extremely quaint and relaxing.

I decided to pick up from here on my way back home from a business trip after finding on a list declaring them the best doughnuts in Atlanta. I chose the signature A-Town Cream and Mocha as well as several of the fritters that seemed unique. While I agree they were good, i feel sorry if this is the best Atlanta has to offer because I can think of 2 much better options in Birmingham (one that has a location in Atlanta as well). It definitely was not worth the effort of getting off the interstate and adding to my travel time. If I was in the area, sure I would get them again but would not suggest going out of your way.

The young lady Unity was sooooo nasty! To tonight me & my sister drove down from Buford just to get donuts. We wanted to split our order and the girl helping us was sweet, she was taking our order & the other girl came over telling her how she can't spilt the order & it would be additional 1.75 for box. We was fine, but couldn't even speak without her CONSTANTLY TALKING!! Saying the same thing over & over. So I told her it wasn't that serious & she still continued to be just ugly and customer service is everything to me!! I love sublime but I can't do the customer service!! I prefer the other location & hate I didn't drive the extra to avoid this... Will not return to this location..... Jackie was great & apologized saying she didn't know and stated she had done it before...

Cost vs quality not worth it. Would have D&D any day over this. The specialty donuts do not Compensate for the $30/dz cost

Eh. Mostly just sugar on sugar. Not bad. Not special. Unimpressed. If I am going to waste donut calories again, it won't be here.

Their doughnuts are indeed sublime, and definitely in the Top Five in Atlanta. Highly recommended.

I used to come here all the time, but stopped to eat more healthier and not "treat myself" to sweets too frequently. I also would only come during late nights... But every time I walked through the door, the staff member working was happy to recommend donuts and serve me well. Most of the options I enjoyed, there might have been 1 or 2 that weren't my favorite. I would say Sublime is an Atlanta staple and that if you're new (or have been here multiple years), you must try it at least once.

The strawberry and cream donut was SOOO goofy. The dough was so chewy and it was so reasonably priced unlike other donut places I've been to. The orange donut wasn't as good, but did taste orangey so mission accomplished.

This place is on a gradual decline. The service is getting worse and the price isn't matching the quality. I used to love to pop in for 2 donuts. Now the cashier's are gue with me over a bag or box for my donuts. If you still choose to go treat yourself to a cinnamon donut or their strawberry creme.

Their strawberry cream donut was really good made with fresh strawberry. Service was good and I appreciate the fact that they're open 24/7!! They're located in a plaza which makes going there quite easy because parking was easy.

We have gotten these donuts for our friends birthday a few times, and they are so tasty and have a variety of flavors and are made well. It can be a little slow waiting in line for people to pick their flavors and contemplate the variety of flavors, so looking at the offerings ahead of time or ordering ahead of time can do you and others a lot of good. Support a black owned business and get sublime!

Best donuts I've ever had in my life!!! I'm so glad someone suggested them to me. I wish we had this franchise in Chicago!! Please come to Chicago! What will I do when I go back home?! DELICIOUS! I anticipated gaining weight being in the south but not off donuts !

This spot fits the bill when you're looking for a classic doughnut. They are open 24 hours but the windows/lighting can make it look like they are closed. They have a pretty comprehensive menu of doughnuts, however the one I wanted was out of stock! It sounded like they weren't delivered that day, so I'm not sure if that is a regular happening. I ended up getting a Reese's doughnut that was enjoyable! Service was friendly. I'd return!

Donuts were four out of five at service was one out of five. The man acted like he was doing me a favor and bring me up. Does he not realize that we indirectly pay his salary?? I guess not. I won't be back.

The night crew at this location is top notch. Always have great donut selection that is fresh and tasty. 24/7 with some unique donut options. Also, they have Stump Town cold brew on tap. Always a good spot to stop in.

The service at this location is always top-tier today. They have sweet potato cake, donuts and when I tell you, they are so good they just melt your mouth. I suggest everyone go to this sublime location and try these delicious donuts.

Moldy doughnut Ordered these on a Saturday (ate them 10 min later) and my 5 year old ate half. When I went in to take a bite I almost passed out. I didn't hear back from the manager for 48 hours (It was a weekend and I know people are understaffed right now but still) and ended up getting an email apologizing but also saying none of other doughnuts looked like that. Not sure how this happened but clearly this mold didn't grow overnight.

Great taste but the doughnuts were doughy and not completely baked. Not edible at all - $30 wasted. I called to info the staff and no action was taken to resolve the issue.

Had something like a Boston cream donut although it was called something else but it was really good. Loved it

Came here early morning on a weekday to grab some doughnuts for my colleagues at work. These doughnuts are truly sublime! They just melt in your mouth... the flavors are pretty unique. I don't like Reese but I actually enjoyed the Reese doughnut. Some additional perks: 1. Follow social distancing and other precautions needed during the pandemic( staff wearing mask, mask compulsory for customers) 2. The store is open 24 x7! So anytime a craving hits... drop in or order online! 3. They have pre- packaged boxes for assorted dozen unless you want to handpick your dozen. I was in and out in a couple of minutes. 4. Lots of easy parking spots. Overall: I'll definitely be back to try some other varieties especially the strawberry and creme that everyone else has raves about but wasn't a part of my assorted dozen.

We arrived around 2am and the crew was still very lively and full of hospitality. I don't normally write reviews at all but I have to give credit to Lauren and the whole crew on shift that gave us great energy even though it was 2am. They were all very professional and overall great individual. Sublime needs to give them all a raise. Im not even joking. I love yall!

Here's the latest update for Sublime Donuts.. A BIG shout out to whoever in the store who left me a nice note on top of the box (See pic). Thank you very much! Ordered a dozen via UberEats. Still can't have the option to pick the flavor I like via the app but I was able to leave a note for the store. I did not intend to request for the flavors I like but instead requested not to have anything with peanuts & tree nuts, like the Reese's Peanut Butter. In recent times, I suspect I may have developed some form of nut or peanut allergy. The store gave me a nice selection, thank you very much! Had one Raspberry Filled Heart w/ Dark Chocolate after dinner with a Sbux tall Mocha. It was very soft, fresh and tasty! Hopefully I would get the A-Town Cream the next time :D

One of my favorite places in ATL because they're 24/7. A friend and I went to grab late night dessert and Didi and Jaz from the over night shift were amazing and very helpful. Great customer service and great donuts.

Sublime is just the best. The donuts are always fresh, they taste amazing and they have so many different varieties that everyone can find something they like. They're open 24/7 so you can go anytime! Highly recommend!

Over priced donut & nothing special... The staff didnt look much friendly and after having the donuts, i dont think i will go back again. Donut dried up the same day.

I love Sublime. I have been here 3 or 4 times since my first time coming and I always get different kinds of donuts. My favorite is by far the strawberries and cream. It's just so fresh and light. It's not too sweet and not too heavy, it's perfect. All the donuts are fresh here though no matter when you come. Idk how they do it, but it's true. Every donut I've had has been soft and not crusty or dry like it's been there all day. I love Sublime. I'll be back again soon I'm sure.

I had an 8 pm night sugar crave and went looking for a donut shop other than DD that wouldn't have stale donuts left over from the morning. I found Sublime on here and saw that they were open 24 hours. Awesome I thought to myself a shop that understands the cravings and as such has to be good. After a short ride I found their location and upon entering I Was pleased to see a full array of donuts. After several minutes of waiting, a young lady shuffled out from the back room and was filled with obvious attitude that she had been disturbed. I explained that I'd never been here before and was responded to with mumbles and seemed like I was being a bother. As soon as I paid she headed straight for the back room and barely said thanks or goodbye even as I tipped her, which she totally didn't earn. Now to the donuts. I ordered 3 choices along with a large coffee. The large coffee was the size of most mediums and tasted like it was from the morning. and I had to use little creamoras, no real half/half. Yeah I know boohoo first world problems. But when I go to a donut/coffee shop I expect solid quality. Now so far as the donuts were concerned, I was bummed at the lack of any "cake" donuts and only raised ones. The three that I did choose were the raised twist, the cream cheese roll and the cinnamon roll. The donuts themselves were really really good, to the point that they were more like a sweet role than a donut. Only knock anything on the quality is that they were really sweet, but hey it is the South and people down here like it REALLY sweet. The only thing that keeps me from recommending them was the level of service. If you don't like your job, go find another!

This spot was great! I ordered ones I have already tried at the other location. I really love the strawberries and cream at this location there were not a lot of strawberries like at the other location but everything has been great.

Best donuts ever! I LOVE the fact that they're open late! We ordered several donuts: - A-Town Cream - A-Town Mocha (delicious) - Chocolate banana fritter (the BEST) - Reese's Peanutt butter cup - Nutella - Oreo The donuts are all delicious, just depends on your preference! Friday - Sunday, you have to catch them early, because most of the popular donuts sell out FAST. However, the remaining options are still just as great! I will definitely be back to try more options!

Hands down this is the best donut place I have encountered in terms of chewy delicious dough. It's unbeatable. I liked it better than duck donuts. No other donut place had made me want it two days in a row and it's really close to me! Guys, the dough here is something that can't be compared to. Chewy, moist, delicious, instantly makes you crave more. The mvp is clearly the fresh cream and strawberries here. The cream was still cold and the strawberrries were actually juicy. Just imagine it smashing around in your mouth..(shudders) In honor of my mother I got the butterfinger, then a classic glazed. The pieces of butterfinger are generous and beautiful adding a perfect crunch to the soft dough. My favorite donut of all time is still an "DD" old fashioned, although, I would love to see Sublime offer something like that.
