"There is a revamped-warehouse aesthetic here, with lots of steel and metal, exposed brick, large windows, and a garage-style door. The restaurant—which is also a coffee bar and a brewery—shouts out its local farmers and purveyors on the first page of the menu, so expect an artisanal slant to everything. Don't expect waffles and pancakes; the brunch menu veers beyond breakfast basics and into the realm of biscuits and gravy and shrimp 'n' grits." - Nancy DePalma

"This airy establishment off of the Charlotte Rail Trail in South End is a coffee-bar-meets-culinary-café-meets-taphouse with exposed red brick and green hanging plants for ambiance. Expect herbal teas, brewed coffees and coffee cocktails (like the “Gettin’ Figgy With It” with ginger beer, fig, lemon rind, thyme and a cold-brew ice cube). Stick around for a beer and something to eat, too — start with the veggie burger or the baked pimento cheese with tortilla chips." - Katie Toussaint

Have enjoyed many beers out on the patio on a nice day. Stopped by on a weekday this time on a 95 degree day so got a table inside. Nachos and flatbread were both excellent. Jawripper is so damn good if you like smoothie sours. Service inside was not great, I prefer the QR ordering system outside, but overall enjoyed our weekday visit.

This place is a really nice spot if you want to go for brunch + breakfast. I went on a Sunday and the outside patio was packed, so expect maybe to wait for a table if the weather is nice outside otherwise inside is usually pretty open. My friends and I got the Big Bun Cinnamon roll and it was really good. I think if I really had to nit pick I would have wanted it to be more warmed up/ hot and then I think it would have made it taste even better. It was just barely warm/ at room temperature, but still tasted good nonetheless. We also got their seasonal Cinnamon Toast Crunch cappuccino and their classic chicken biscuits. The chicken was season very well and the gravy was really tasty. The biscuit itself is different so I can see some people either not liking it as much or really love it. Overall, everything tasted good and the waiters and staff were really nice and the overall restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Their parking lot is really small btw so you will need to plan maybe ahead to find some parking near by. I’d come back here again a solid 7.5/10. 👍

Quisha with Offline - I went for Lunch and I ordered the Appel of my eye cocktail which was better than I expected could hardly taste the alcohol but I definitely know it was in there. I enjoyed the Daydream cheesesteak and side salad which was a great choice. The roll was so soft it just folded in my mouth.

Google
Best batter I've ever had on fish and chips. And at $20, this is an outstanding value. Special shout out for making good coleslaw which I find is unfortunately rare. Recommend offering a spicy version! I got a cider (orange mango) and a sour ale (tropical tree tops) Best sour ale I've had in Charlotte. Cider was really good too. Recommend offering to-gos on ciders. Service was friendly and courteous. Atmosphere has good lighting and is well decorated. I highly recommend this place for solo, dates, groups, etc. Awesome food, drink, and people.

Google
This spot is good for foodies and coffee lovers! I was especially happy to see the gluten-free options. I had a gluten free bread with shrimp. It was so good! Everyone can’t make gluten free pizza , but this location has it down pack. The Parmesan fries were so good with the house made ketchup. My kids had a cinnamon crunch latte. You could smell how good it tasted. The kids have it a 4 out 5. When in Charlotte definitely stop here and grab a bite. PS: the customer service was superb!

Google
This is always a favorite spot. Tasty and creative food options, including small plates and shareables. Solid beer with a selection of guest taps. Wonderful atmosphere inside and out. Easy phone ordering process. There are also plenty of great little touches that align to their overall sophisticated vibe, like their wooden tables and well-appointed all-season patio. It's not cheap but it's stand-out experience in South End. Big recommend.

Google
The best food! The best cocktails! The best patio vibes! Suffolk Punch is consistently amazing. On my last visit, my sister and I ordered several plates to share - the Local Queen City Pretzel, the Warm Street Corn Dip, and the Strawberry Fields Salad. Everything was 10/10. My Spicy Berry Margarita was delicious and refreshing. I was pleased to see they offered a mocktail option, which my sister ordered and said was awesome. We sat on the patio, which was the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon. *UPDATE* Visited for brunch for the first time and was once again impressed! The chicken biscuit was amazing. I got it with a side salad, which was the perfect balance. I’m a fan for life!

Google
Suffolk Punch is an absolute gem! My wife and I love coming here, especially for their brunch burger, which is simply to die for. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it's always cooked to perfection. But it’s not just the food that keeps us coming back. We also love the atmosphere. Sitting outside and enjoying our meal while watching other people's adorable dogs is such a delight. It's like we get to live vicariously through their joyful energy. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure we have a great experience every time. Suffolk Punch has definitely become our go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My unfiltered feedback: 1) Bartender with backwards hat is incredibly rude, dismissive, hostile, and has no business working in the industry. 2) Food was very salty. I'd say a good 30% of food was not edible. However the management had a great attitude, and went above and beyond to fix it. 3) Live music is AMAZING. While the terrible bartender soured the experience, management made up for it and they deserve a raise. I'd fire the bartender though - you should not antagonize paying customers and expect them to take it kindly. Still a solid establishment and I wouldn't let a bad apple spoil the bunch.

Yelp
Decided to try another brewery while in town for work. This one stuck out from the other reviews on Yelp for both beer and food. It's tucked away on a side street, but it does have a decent gravel parking lot. There is another brewery in this area across the street and plenty of warehouses and unassuming brick buildings. This building is also very unassuming from the front. Once I walked in, I was greeted by the brewery kettles all the way down to the host stand. Tonight was a seat yourself night on a Tuesday. I was greeted within a few minutes by a pleasant bartender, and I ordered a flight of beer/cider to test out the options. These are ample pours delivered in a cool wooden glass holder. My choices: Orange Mango Cider- so good!; Pulp Prescription - really good and I am not an IPA girl, but I could do a few of these; Tropical Tree Tops - a very fruit heavy punch but good option; and CLT Blueberry - my least favorite and wouldn't order again. The decor here is open, airy, and has plenty of fun details. There is also a great and large outdoor area, but I opted for inside on a near 100 degree day. Tuesdays are $10 large platter of chicken and fries which is perfect beer tasting food for me! I got them tossed in the buffalo sauce, but there are some other great options. Tenders were large and nicely sauced. Fries are pretty basic but not bad. The food menu seems nicely curated with some special items. When back in town, I will absolutely be back! Only recommend adding purse hooks under the bar for the ladies.

Yelp
Stopped in to grab a couple of drinks and sat at the bar for quicker service. We weren't greeted for about 6-8 minutes while bartenders were right in front of us walking around and talking. It felt like we were being ignored slightly. We didn't try the food but it looks and smells amazing. The beer and coffee are amazing!! Don't expect the best service if you sit at the bar but their drinks are good so we'll probably be back to try their food. Food seems kind of expensive so be aware. Their breakfast bowl is $18 and their flatbread is also $18. The chicken biscuit is $15.

Kelly D.

Yelp
We popped in late on a Sunday night for a drink. They offer beer, wine, and cocktails as well as a full food menu. It has a relaxing atmosphere with lots of seating available even though it's a smaller space. There were about 15 of us in our group, and we had plenty of space to walk around and visit. Bartenders were easygoing and friendly, but since we arrived so late, they were starting their closing routine shortly after we ordered. Would probably go back to check it out with a smaller group for dinner and drinks to get a more accurate feel for the space.

Natalie C.

Yelp
10/10 the ambiance, service and food. The restaurant was full of hustle and bustle. It wasn't long before we were seated. The breakfast bowl and breakfast of champions were cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and seasoned well. The staff was very attentive. There's a heated patio with ample seating. This area is great for large groups. This is definitely one of my top 5 places for brunch.

Zoe J.

Yelp
This place has one of my favorite beers ever, the dreamsicle IPA! Super good! This was my first time visiting one of the locations and we just got drinks and not food, although it looked good. They also serve coffee and tea, and other NA drinks. The inside is super cute and spacious and there is a lot of outdoor seating as well. The reasons I give it 4 stars is because #1 when we sat at the bar it took a good 7-8 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us (and the bar wasn't even full). And #2 the food seems really pricey even just looking at the menu. Probably give it a go in the future maybe. Overall a pretty decent place

Yelp
This place was recommended by a local, so I figured I would try it out. The chicken caprese sandwich was amazing! It's just a little too much lettuce. Our service started out really well, but then she was hard to track down. I think she had table assignments all over. The parking lot is small, and some overflow across the street. Cute spot!

Ryan J.

Yelp
Had a great time visiting Charlotte with my fiancée. We spent the weekend here and had the opportunity to visit some local breweries. It was a hot weekend, so we had to stop by! I had the tree tops (sour beer). I also had a chicken sandwich (photos attached). The beer was okay, but the sandwich was delicious. The staff was super friendly, and the service was extremely quick. One thing about the sandwich and side salad, that was a lot lettuce! Give this place a try if you're in the area. The prices were reasonable too.

Yelp
One of many restaurants in Charlotte's South End neighborhood, keep this place in mind as a place to BRUNCH. There's also lunch/dinner and coffee options as well as beer, wine, and cocktails. The vibe is casual yet modern and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The eatery is a 4-n-1 as it serves as a brewery, taphouse, restaurant and coffee bar. It's accessible via the Lynx train as it sits at the New Bern station. There is also outdoor and patio dining. What I Tried: MIMOSA ($5) - Classic traditional taste - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. BREAKFAST BOWL ($16) - Two Sausage Patties, Smoked Bacon, Two Farm Eggs Your Way, Anson Mills Cream Cheese Grits, Toast with Jelly & Butter - The breakfast bowl comes with a lot of great breakfast staples. I did have to add more salt/pepper to my grits, but when I did, it became perfection.- RECOMMENDED. THE LITTLE CHICKEN BISCUIT ($10) - Scratch Biscuit, One Flash Fried Springer Mtn Farms Chicken Breast - Well-seasoned and crispy chicken breast and an amazing biscuit - MUST TRY. PEPPERMILL SAUSAGE & GRAVY BISCUIT ($5) - The biscuit is amazing, but I didn't have a wow moment with the sausage and gravy. - WORTH CHECKING OUT.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and got Corned Beef Hash with a side of toast/grits and loved it! Cocktails were yummy too! Recommend the Strawberry Fields. Great food and great service, will definitely be back!!

Alisha L.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere here! We got both the sweet summertime salad (with added fried chicken) and the beets and blueberries salad. Flavors were great! Would have liked a little more chicken for the additional $6 upcharge. Tried the newer ciders and seltzers and loved them all. Great fresh flavors for summer! Initial service in the bar area was great, but after serving us our food, no one came back to check on us or get us drinks after telling us we could order from the table. Overall- fantastic! Will be back again.

Madison H.

Yelp
Really quick service. Love sitting outside on the closed in patio with the sun shining in, even on a cooler day. It will be opened once it's warm enough and I can't wait to be back! I came for brunch and enjoyed the breakfast of champions. I left full and happy

Candace M.

Yelp
Really nice place. Love the seating outside on this nice day! Hostess was very helpful being my first time on great selection on their menu.

Creighton F.

Yelp
Had an amazing breakfast bowl. I could barely finish it all as it was a healthy portion. Sorry I forgot to take pictures this time around as I was starving when I arrived.

Christian S.

Yelp
Overall, we enjoyed brunch at Suffolk! The mimosas were really good. We shared a cart for $30. The breakfast of champions was alright, could have used a little more flavor for me. (7/10) the chicken biscuit was a hit & the gravy was delicious. (9/10). Outside sitting area is such a vibe. So much seating inside and out. Since we were sitting outside, service was straight to it. They dropped your food off once you order from the online link and go on their way. Very sweet staff!

Hannah C.

Yelp
I love the ambiance and positive atmosphere I've experienced at Suffolk Punch over my past few months in the South End area!! The outdoor area is very spacious with lots of picnic tables, friendly faces, twinkle lights and so many dogs!! The brewery backs onto the light rail so easy access if you're commuting, I believe parking can be a bit challenging but it's perfect for the surrounding apartments to walk to! The indoor dining experience is more traditional but outside there is a barcode you can scan for the menu, and you order and pay entirely from your phone. It's pretty convenient, especially with a large crowd. I shared the delicious Mac and cheese flatbread with my friends, and then grabbed a few of their ciders! They have specials for half off certain drinks on Thursdays and Sundays so be on the lookout for the best deals :)

Laryssa S.

Yelp
I've been here for both brunch and dinner and each time it has been so good! From the many different drink options to the food choices that make you want to order the whole menu; you are in for a treat here! The atmosphere is so lively yet chill. Everyone is just there for a good time and good food. It's kid friendly and animal friendly. The staff is welcoming and helpful when needed. You'll leave with a full belly for sure. Try the truffle fries, they're delicious! Or sit outside, they have plenty of fans to keep you cool. But actually stay and enjoy the food and beer. You'll be back just like I have!

Hannah M.

Yelp
This is a trendy brewery and food spot right in the middle of lower South End. The food we got was just the nachos on the appetizer menu, and we got two beers and a latte in our party. The nachos were $16, the beers were about $7 each, and the latte I'm not sure about. The prices were pretty standard for South End, but for chicken nachos I think $16 is still a little high personally! They were good but as tends to happen with brewery nachos, as you get to the bottom there is definitely no more cheese at all haha! The vibe is very young, noisy, and trendy, most patrons are in their 20s and 30s, but it's not rowdy at all. So if that's the vibe you're looking for I think it's great! There is a beautiful inside space with an open kitchen and bar area, then a massive outdoor seating area that I think must be the most popular seating area. The tables outside are very long picnic-style so you have to share with other groups. All in all I would definitely come back here! It was very clean, well-staffed, and had a good selection of beers and food.

Roger R.

Yelp
Such a cool place! Came here for a late lunch on a Sunday, and unfortunately they were only offering the brunch menu until 3pm. Sat at the bar and service was great. Tons of beers on tap and ice cold! Bartender offered to help modify some of the brunch menu items for us but we decided to stay for some drinks while waiting for 3pm to hit. Great vibe and time flies..at 3pm on the button a server came over and took our orders! Burger cooked perfectly, probably the best brussel sprouts we've ever had and solid fries. Definitely will be back!

Meredith C.

Yelp
One of our favorites!! Decorated so beautifully both inside and out. LOTS of tables both inside and out to sit at. The staff is helpful, the food was good and the drinks are amazing! It is a brewery but they have wine, and liquor as well.

Carla S.

Yelp
I stopped in for Sunday Brunch. I'd been here before after work and inside. It's a cool spot with plenty of outdoor seating but sadly, not a lot in the shade. All those spots were taken. They did have a spray fan outside for some relief. Outdoors is seat yourself and order and pay yourself from an app. Someone does come to bring your meal but not a lot of staff interaction is present when you choose to sit outdoors. You get your own water and disposable utensils, if you are a minimalist, the outdoor option is for you. The menu is pretty sufficient. It has a small but mighty selection. We chose the chicken biscuit sandwich and the French toast muffin. Both were good and filling. The presentation was top notch for a brewery. I definitely would return but on a cooler day.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Good food, good beer, and great atmosphere. We stopped by on the way home -- right off the light rail. It appears that their menu changes frequently, so many of the items featured here were no longer available. The prices were reasonable and the selection of beer is great! Burger was cooked to order and came out the right temperature. The pretzel was not worth the price and was not fresh. Didn't see a dessert menu. Overall, it's a brewery that serves some good food. It's a great place to hang outside and has a convenient location.

Tori O.

Yelp
Good food, great service, easy pricing. Bright and airy inside with a huge outside for doggos!

Michael F.

Yelp
Such a fun spot, the ambiance is a 10/10. I've visited many spots all over charlotte, but never have I ever received better service than I have from the combination of Janelle, Kaylee, Kylie, and Bailee at the Suffolk Punch!!! They were incredibly friendly, observant and knowledgeable to everyone they served. Any food/beer lover would be smart to give this spot a try. I love the service and hospitality that the Suffolk team provides. Go team! Will definitely be back for another Jawripper.

Eric Z.

Yelp
What an amazing eatery and brewery. The atmosphere was chill and calming, the servers were fast and helpful, and the food tasted amazing. Outside you order everything through the bar code scan app. The beers arrived so quickly. The variety of beers, wines, and espresso liquor drinks was very nice. We will be back here anytime we return to Charlotte. Great times.

Haley P.

Yelp
What better way to spend the morning after Thanksgiving in NC than grabbing brunch at suffolkpunch with great friends and family?! The food and drink options are endless! From mimosas, beers, wine, cocktails, iced/hot coffees, and non alcoholic options there is something for everyone to enjoy ! What food we ordered: THE CHICKEN BISCUIT Scratch Biscuit, Buttermilk Fried Springer Mtn Farms Chicken Breast, Scrambled Farm Eggs, Peppermill Gravy, Served with Fried Breakfast Potatoes BREAKFAST TACOS Smoked Bacon, Scrambled Farm Eggs, Cheddar Cheese, Peppermill Gravy, Pico De Gallo, Queso Fresca, Flour & Corn Tortillas SPB BREAKFAST BOWL Two Farm Eggs Your Way, Anson Mills Cream Cheese Grits, Smoked Bacon & Sausage Patties, Shredded Cheddar, Grilled Sourdough Bread The portion sizes are large and everything was delicious! The back patio was the perfect spot for our large group. Even during the chilly weather since they enclose the patio during the colder months! We will be returning!!!

Yelp
You can find Suffolk Punch Brewing at 2911 Griffith St Charlotte, NC 28203 - this is in the Southside where you'll find a handful of newish breweries - reminds me of the Beltline breweries in Atlanta with many within easy walking distance. We ended up parking on the street but there were several pay lots. Suffolk Punch Brewing was the biggest sleeper during my recent visit to Charlotte and that city's craft brewery scene. I had never heard of the brewery, only encountering it at the Charlotte Untappd Festival - the single sour I had there was pretty fantastic, thick bodied and mega-fruity. I was hoping that the brewery would live-up to that initial experience and I'm happy to report that exceeded my expectations - the brewery interior was pretty stunning, the service exceptional, the food well above par with huge portions and the beer way above average. I had asked around and it seems this was originally a different brewery - not sure if there was a name change or a compete change but I can't imagine any brewery doing poorly in this location - the staff was young and very enthusiastic, great scene here. For food: Asiago Truffle Handcut Fries - These Belgian style fries were perfect and the portion enormous - get in my belly! Local Queen City Pretzel - I thought this fairly standard - was hoping for one of those big hanging pretzels - what made this exceptional is the bleu beer cheese sauce! Thai Sweet Chili Pork Wings - Wow - these are really fantastic - if you get nothing else on the menu get these. Fall-off-the-bone pork shanks with a sweet and savory sauce - can't get much better than this! For Beer: Jawripper // Marrionberry Raspberry Raspberry Soft Serve Smoothy Sour 6% - 4.5/5 Delicious thick bodied creamy sour with big tart fruity flavors. Loved this, finishes sticky sweet without lactose! Jawripper // Peach Strawberry Smoothie Sour 6% - 4.3/5 Very tart thick bodied sour with big notes of peach and strawberry, super refreshing, finishing sticky sweet. Drive Thru Fruited Sour 5.2% - 4/5 Sweet Maraschino cherries balance out some of the bright lime notes in this sour, more a Berliner with fairly clean, dry finish. Riverwilde Flanders Red 6.5% - 4/5 Was hoping for a bit more Flanders in this Flanders - I'd say it's good but young? Exhibiting a lack of some of the body sweetness you'd typically find in a Flanders. Lots of oak, dark fruit and a hint of caramel. Woolverstone Berliner Weisse 4.7% - 3.7/5 Interesting vinous Berliner with earthy body and notes of lemon, more like a tart saison in spirit. Finishes dry and fairly herbal. Lord Fogh Belgian Golden Sour 6.2% - 4.3/5 Surprisingly good with great sweet oak nose, tons of fruit mixed culture with great balance and funky finish - wish I had bought bottles to bring back with me, won't make that mistake again. As mentioned - we ended up sitting at the bar as this brewery was very busy with full tables and a wait. We had great service and the food came out quickly - overall a great experience.

Denis D.

Yelp
Very nice little place! This beer selection! Many many bars on the same street, walking distance. Would definitely go back!

Erin S.

Yelp
We had a party of 6 at 8:00 pm on Friday, 11/4/22. It was packed, but we were able to find a table outside! Suffolk is huge and so pretty. Great venue. Love the string lights. There was a band playing as part of Suffolk Punch's Daydream Music Fest. We ordered through a QR code on our table. Service was so quick!! Here's what I tried: - Grains and Things ($16): Large portion. Loved the ingredients. But the chicken was a little difficult to cut and there was too much goat cheese for my taste. Still good though! - Fungus Among Us ($16): OMG. So much flavor. So delicious. - Crispy Brussels ($6): Good! - Mac-N-Cheese ($6): Yummmm, currently craving this. Suffolk Punch was awesome! Good for groups, date night, anything! Highly recommend!

Megan F.

Yelp
We had brunch for a weekend, and it was tasty! I enjoyed the pretzel appetizer. The crowds were busy but there are outside tables so we were able to get a table within 10 minutes. Lots of noise, but friendly staff and good food. I had the salad with salmon and enjoyed the excellent fish. Parking is nonexistent here in South End so we parked and walked.

Nicole V.

Yelp
I stopped into Suffolk punch with my friend to grab a late Tuesday dinner. We sat outside and it was a little chilly, but that's my fault for wearing a tshirt in November. There's plenty of seating at their picnic tables outside and you are able to order food and drinks using a QR code on toast.com. I ordered their Pilsner and it came right away! The server just checked my id when she brought it over. I had the grains and things bowl, which came with chicken, quinoa, edamame, goat cheese, and a lemon vinaigrette. My friend had the snobby cobby which came with fried chicken breast, blue cheese, avocado, egg, and cucumber avocado dressing. We both really enjoyed what we got, but it was a bit annoying that we had to cut up the chicken breast with a plastic fork and knife. Overall, i always have a good time at Suffolk and their menu has tons of yummy options!!

Tanya C.

Yelp
Let me say this... I love a good espresso martini and was in despite need of one after leaving the South End Wine & Hops Festival! I was craving a juicy, cheesy burger and fries so caught and Uber and stopped here for a quick bite. It was really crowded so I thought we would have to wait on a booth but luckily there was one available, yah us! Our server gave us a few recommendations so we ordered each item and thoroughly enjoyed. What we ordered: Patchwork Orange Espresso Martini SPB Burger Chicken Sammie w/bacon Everything was Amazing! They have a nice patio area and it is petty friendly so bring your fur babies. It's close to the light rail so don't drink & drive! Enjoy!!

Jess W.

Yelp
I visited the Suffolk Punch Brewery in on a Monday night with two friends, and unfortunately, I have to give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The service felt rushed and our server seemed bothered by our arrival at 8:30 pm, despite the fact that the restaurant didn't close until 10 pm. Based on the server's recommendation, I ordered the Ahi Tuna tacos and fries. And, while they were okay, they weren't anything special. I ordered a glass of Prosecco, which unfortunately tasted like it had been open for days. My experience at Suffolk Punch Brewery was disappointing. However, based on other reviews, I'm willing to give it another try in the future. I hope that on my next visit, I'll be able to enjoy the restaurant's top offerings.

Matt T.

Yelp
Great place to chill and have a good brew. Found the service to be excellent and very flexible. #VFL

Haley R.

Yelp
Atmosphere is a 5/5. There's outdoor lights and music which makes it a great place to get a drink or some food. Food is a 3/10. There's nothing there that I've gotten that is that good plus the food is way too expensive for average tasting food. The food is always presented really well though. Service 5/5 always great service.

Yelp
My brother, his wife and toddler was in town so we wanted to try somewhere that we hadn't gone before. We settled on Suffolk Punch Brewing and it was a good decision. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and the parking in the front was available. We walked to entry of the brewery and noticed the large room where the beer is made. We walked the long hallway and met the part of the business which is the restaurant. Since the restaurant was not that busy at the moment, we were seated in a large booth. Our waiter was great. He recommended some good items based on what we liked. My husband and brother decided to go with a beer flight. He seemed to like them all. We all ordered our food. We got chips and queso for the table. I decided on something basic and went with the peperoni, bacon, and chicken pizza. My brother got tacos and my sister in law got something that she said was okay, but I cannot for the life of me remember. I would come back here again. It seems like they change their menu items so we might give it another try.

Ciara C.

Yelp
The chicken biscuit is HUGE and delicious. I couldn't even finish it by myself. The gravy is good as well. I didn't try the huevos but was told it was good. My chicken wasn't dry and the eggs were cooked nicely. Even enjoyed my potatoes and I don't often enjoy breakfast potatoes. I enjoy that Suffolk Punch is dog friendly and they have buckets for dogs to drink out of. If you want good seating outside, you need to get there decently early. The drinks were good as was the juice.

Felix J.

Yelp
Came here last night for a work happy hour, and I must say this is the spot to be. The food, the service, and the ambiance was on my point. I wasn't happy with my entree but our amazing waitress Jannelle was able to take it off the bill. She was very quick, friendly, and overall had a positive vibe to her. I would appreciate if her managers give her recognition for her hardwork. Overall will come back here again. Cheers

Noelle H.

Yelp
They have amazing food! So many breweries have underwhelming bar food, but Suffolk punch has a great variety to choose from and everything tastes fresh. I love their weekend brunch too! Daydream lager is my go-to beer.

Madison P.

Yelp
This place was a gem on Sunday afternoon. Walked in and was seated immediately. Not sure if this was our luck or not but it was nice. I tried the strawberry seltzer and the New Guard beer. Both were great, really enjoyed the seltzer. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but the beer was good also, and half price on Sunday. The food! I got the shrimp tacos, and my boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich. Both were AMAZING! Might be some of the best shrimp tacos I have had. The mixture of flavors and textures was perfect. The fries were good, reminded me of Five Guys. Everything tasted fresh and cooked with love. The ambiance is so nice. You can tell everything was very thought out in decorating and creating a vibe to this spot. Lots of tv's with sports, and also great service. Really enjoyed my visit. **I edited my review to 4 stars from 5 because the women's bathroom smelled terrible. Smelled like a men's restroom at Walmart and needed servicing BADLY. This place is too nice for their restrooms to be that trash.

Yelp
Looking for a place to Brunch? Suffolk had a menu with a variety of options for brunch on sunday with the girls. You can't go wrong with truffle fries to share while trying to narrow down what to eat. Served with a aioli & ketchup but most of all the fries were fresh and the perfect shareable bite to hold us over. Our server brought us water to the table while we waited on drinks. I had a Lime in the Coconut very refreshing on the hot day. They even made a mocktail for one of our friends expecting. I had the breakfast burger, hold the bun and egg... with a side of brussels. Highly recommend the brussels as a fun twist on a veggie side option since they were drizzled in a balsamic glaze. For arriving right at prime brunch time on a sunday, we did not have to wait long for a table inside. The outside patio looked fun with covers for shade but we chose to sit inside at a booth. Our server was sweet and quick to grab our drinks, food and even check at the end. Overall fun atmosphere, fun cocktails and delicious food.

Yelp
Suffolk always has good food but it's a sad day when the menu changes. I always loved their Buffalo nachoes with the deliciously creamy cheese sauce and blue chips but they have since changed. The new nachos are okay though nothing to write home about. For $18 I'd expect more than 2 tbsp of meat and all the chips below were dry with no toppings. Gave 4 stars because always enjoy my time but wish they'd bring back the old nachoes and have some more friendly staff.

Yelp
Omg loved Suffolk Brewing! I don't travel to Charlotte that often so I asked friends for recommendations and we heard multiple about this place so of course we had to try it! Overall the area was nice and I loved the option of inside and outside seating. We chose to sit inside which was clean and comfortable. I asked for recommendations for their sours on tap and I chose one of their fruit infused sours. It was nice and refreshing with only a little bit of tartness which I really enjoyed. The food was so good! My boyfriend and I split the Alabama white sauce wings which had a tangy, sweet but savory flavor. They were so good paired with their house made ranch. The truffle fries were delicious but the truffle sauce on the side was not my favorite. The brussels sprouts is what really brought the meal home for me. They had a delicious balsamic glaze and were roasted until crispy. If I am ever back in charlotte i will definitely try to stop by again for their delicious wings!

Yelp
I've drank here a few times but did brunch at Suffolk Punch recently and was extremely impressed. It was a gorgeous day and thus packed with all the patio seating. We expected a wait, we very quickly and promptly received our drinks and food. I am a huge fan of the seltzers here fwiw. The food was quite good especially considering we'd be getting your typical brewery fare. The chicken biscuit was way over the top as a warning, a huge undertaking but quite tasty. Breakfast nachos were a fascinating share plate. Very good and creative to boot. I highly recommend this place as the weather gets warmer and sun shines brighter.

Yelp
I have been to Suffolk Punch several times since they opened years ago, so I figured I'd finally leave a review. Honestly, I love this place. This time, a Saturday late morning for brunch, we sat outside on the patio. I really love how easy it is to order whatever you want. The outside bar is fast and easy, and has all the cold drinks you need... and the QR code on the tables brings you to toast tab so you can order hot drinks and food effortlessly without getting up. I think it makes life easier for everyone, especially with how busy it can get. Inside, I love the vibe. I love the exposed wood and metal everywhere, but with plants bringing in a cozy and comfortable feel. Every time I've eaten inside, I've had great service (more traditional with a wait staff inside). We got in at the perfect time because when we left, this place was PACKED! Definitely a great way to start a Saturday in South End!

Yelp
Loved the outdoor seating and free water. The contactless ordering was also cool with no waiter. The pizza tasted like cardboard but the fries were delicious.

Yelp
Incredible collapse and decline of customer service and prices. I will not be returning here by personal choice. I am modifying a previous 5 star review. The last 2 times I've been here the bartenders have gone out of their way to be rude and unhelpful. 1 time the server literally left (packed her stuff and went home) without checking on us and of course providing a bill. We had to ask nearly the entire staff there for a bill to be able to leave. The bar staff rolled their eyes at us and acted dismissively saying they don't do food. Finally a server showed up who wanted nothing to do with us. Felt held hostage. Pricing has increased dramatically and the food is microwave level Sams Club pub fare. I had the worst salad I've ever had in the USA here. The nachos were close to the worst I've had but there's always the Bank of America stadium. Disappointing that this place used to have good customer service and prompt service. Finally - this place has turned extremely hostile to dogs recently. Oh well. Dogs not really wanted I guess.

Yelp
I personally did not eat this, but it look good and commanded my attention... she spoke to me. 5/5... I'll leave my family for this dish.

Yelp
Plenty of outdoor seating--it's very spacious with tables and canopies. Dogs are allowed outside. Inside is beautiful with hanging plants and a nice presentation of where the beer is brewed. Scan and stay menu, or you can go up to the bar for drinks. Food is offered with a diverse, fanciful selection. Beer is good, and they have a few rotating taps.
