Found this hidden gem after getting Pepper Lunch in the same plaza. My party arrived around 9pm, and the shop got our attention since it was trendy, chic, and captivating compared to the other eateries around us. Jenny assisted my party and I with her caring, attentive service and offered her recommendations on what ice cream flavors to get. We ordered one scoop of Nutella Brownie and one scoop of Hawaiian Honeymoon! Both flavors were sweet and a great dessert after our dinner. The texture was soft, creamy, and smooth! They have a rewards system with a stamp card of after 10 visits; there is a prize wheel! :D Wish there was a Sugar Mama location in South San Jose, so I can start a consistent stamp card, but oh well. Would certainly pay this place a visit if I was in the area.

This place has some interesting ice cream flavors. I tried Durian, Pandan, Earl grey tea -lavender, and Black sesame. My favorite was Durian and Earl grey tea.

Decided to try out this place because a friend recommended it to me. Very great experience. I was expecting it to just be a normal ice cream shop but the customer service was top notch. I don’t usually leave reviews but the employee named Kendell deserves a raise with how patient he was. Even though it took me and my buddy quite a while to decide which flavors to get, he was patient and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. Definitely coming back here again.

Great customer service. Was served by a kind young man named Kendell; he was very helpful and patient. This is the standard of customer service that most places just don't have anymore. He took the time to explain all of the flavors to me and gave me some tasty recommendations. Very impressed and will most definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

I came here about a week ago and got a pint of the Saffron Rose Pistachio ice cream to go. I just had some for the first time tonight and oh, my! It's one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted! It's so rich and melt in your mouth delicious!! My mom who gave up sugar years ago had one spoon and asked for more! My pictures don't do this ice cream justice, but you can kind of see the saffron in there. The flavors complement each other so well! It's an Indian treat! In fact, for all the Desis out there...it tastes very similar to ras malai but more rose-ish! *drools

Wow! I'm super impressed by the selection that Chief Sugar Mama had in her store tonight. Every flavor was solid, with authentic flavors. My favorites were the durian, black sesame brittle, and Irish whiskey praline! Spin the wheel to add a little spice in your life, and don't forget to ask for a sample!

Unique taste and flavors of their own. We tried their sesame and dark chocolate salty caramel. Both of them turned out to be great. Would love to visit again as their other dark chocolate flavor which they offer wasn’t available.

This ice cream shop is amazing and has a good variety of interesting and homemade ice cream flavors. And with such a cute and interesting name, we walked by and did a double take when we saw the name Sugar Mama Dessert. We came here after lunch and ordered the black sesame and durian ice creams. Omfg their durian ice cream was TDF! I asked for a sample first and was like wow, the durian flavor is intense and authentic! I immediately ordered a scoop of the durian ice cream. I did notice that the durian bucket seems to be the bastard child of the family and not getting much love. So if you love the king of fruit (durian), be sure to come here to try their durian ice cream. This is definitely my fav sugar mama!

Yummy ice cream. Years ago I had lychee ice cream pint which was sweet and the other day I bought a guava ice cream pint, which was also sweet. I definitely would come back here to buy ice cream. We were able to sample coffee boba pearl, durian, and strawberry kiwi. The strawberry kiwi (was like a yummy sherbet), was my favorite. The coffee was good too. Not a huge of durian in general, tasted a little weird like the fruit, so that was expected. Service The staff are helpful. Ambiance The kiosque touch screen showed a lot of options of flavors of pints, but not all were available. This place is cute and small and nicely decorated.

We brought some friends over to get some ice cream after having lunch. Our friends enjoyed their Pistachio Almond and Green Matcha. My wife and I shared a double scoop of Black Sesame Brittle (her favorite). I enjoyed my Fresh Lychee. My sample of Bluewater Sorbet was very fruity and refreshing! The service is always friendly, sweet, knowledgeable, and outgoing!

Swung by after dinner at around 8:30 pm, and there was no line. The employee was nice and was very generous letting us try multiple flavors. The store is small and doesn't have much seating. Parking is free and shared in a plaza lot. I tried the black sesame and pandan, and both were so yummy. I decided on black sesame, and if you like black sesame, definitely try this. I really enjoyed the strong but not overpowering black sesame flavor. The ice cream texture was creamy and dense. There were bits of brittle that provided a nice crunch. Overall, this little ice cream shop was so cute and tasty. I brought back a pint of black sesame ice cream to enjoy at home. Flavor selection is small but diverse. I will definitely be back!

i thought this place was good, but not five stars worthy. i ended up getting nutella brownie and vanilla bean. the vanilla bean was definitely superior. it had a creamier texture closer to gelato. my boyfriend ended up getting pistachio and it was very good. we tried some of the weirder flavors that they offer and we weren't a fan of any of them. overall, a decent place for dessert if you're in the shopping complex, but i wouldn't go out of my way to come here

Wanted to get some ice cream on a hot day and this spot has been on my must try lists for a minute! My friend and I were able to try so many different flavors but I ultimately decided to go with the pandan and sweet corn ice cream. The pandan had coconut flakes and had such a strong pandan flavor it was amazing! My favorite out of everything had to be the sweet corn. So delicious and creamy with SO MUCH corn bits inside I loved it. If you've tried Vietnamese corn milk then you know exactly what this flavor profile is and I highly highly suggest getting it. It seems like there's a rotating flavor menu so excited to see what they have in store next time I come back!

Dessert after dinner? Bet. Sugar Mama Desserts was on my bookmarked list for the longest time and I had to try after having dinner nearby. Location: Asian plaza in Milpitas located by Ranch 99. The parking can be quite busy because of other stores and restaurants. Ice cream: Unique flavors with a blend of asian and American touch. I'm there! My husband had the fresh mango - so refreshing, creamy and tasty like having a Manila Mango! I chose the Coffee Pearl Crunch and it was delicious - taste and texture were on point. The serving size was just right as I do get overwhelmed when it is over the top. Pricing: Expensive than most places considering the portion size but it's ok due to unique flavors. Service: A+. The guy behind the counter was very patient with me trying many different flavors before deciding which one. He didn't mind at all. All the flavors look too good to not try - 1) black sesame, 2) durian, 3) lychee, 4) coffee pearl crunch. I'll definitely be back for the other flavors but will also consider ordering a pint instead for better portions.

Excellent icecream! We had red-white blueberry and burnt almond brittle and they were both refreshing and not so sweet. I would have enjoyed to try the not-so-regular flavours like coffee boba or guava or passion fruit lychee, they unfortunately did not have any of those the day we went. Guess I gotta come back again ;)

My husband and I are so glad we booked Sugar Mama Desserts for our wedding. We love to support our local businesses and were so pleased that they also catered for events. Renisa was very responsive and the process was seamless, from booking to ice cream tasting to the actual event itself. Our guests enjoyed the unique flavors offered, especially fresh guava and coconut pandan, and reportedly even went back for seconds and thirds! Highly recommend Sugar Mama Desserts if you have any events, because who doesn't love ice cream? We'll definitely also be visiting the store many times in the future!

Sugar Mama Desserts, a popular popup vendor, is where Beautiful Foot Massage was. Basically scoop & go. Inside & outside seating 2 tables each. Mama's creates artisan ice creams with Asian flava influences. Offerings: ice cream by scoops & pints, savory bakes. Available flavas listed on standup board in front. Server quickly offered samples when i entered Licks: 2 scoops in cup (7.50) -double malted chocolate Haven't had malts for decades, so not impressed. Licks: Black Sesame Brittle -ultra creamy, thick & dense ice cream, fairly sweet. -black sesame intense flava, didn't melt quickly. Coffee Pearl Crunch -coffee flava faint, also ultra creamy, thick & dense. -crunchiness best attribute. Non meltiness too. 4.8 stars just one server. Patrons seem to come at same time. Luckily after i ordered. Take outs: -parking lot parked at lunch time & peak hours. Mama's is located on Loving Hut's side of the mall.

Mango Ice Cream -- the mango flavor was prominent and the consistency was nice and smooth. It a nice and simple sorbet! The customer service is great! You can try as much flavors as you want. They also offer catering services and other types of desserts.

I tried Sugar Mama as part of a pop up at a fashion event. The owner was extremely kind and passionate about the flavors she had handcrafted. The flavors are all unique and natural, and I was impressed by how creamy the ice cream was. I would love to visit the storefront for an expanded menu- the pop up was limited to five or six flavors. In particular, I loved the sesame flavor.

Came here after a dinner with family (son, husband + nephew and his girlfriend)... what I was able to try - 2 bites (husband forgot we were sharing!) was quite tasty! I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again! And if my husband is with me, I'll get my own! I'll take pictures next time too, was a cute spot!

Good flavors in a little cute dessert shop that focuses on non-standard and extra-ordinary tastes. We were here for a quick dessert and picked up three ice creams to enjoy. The flavors were good. From lavender honey blueberry to black sesame to durian, if you're intrigued to try new and different flavors, this is may be a good spot. Service was nice and seemed eager to help. Cute little store that seems to pull you away and into a small ice cream focused shop. Situated located right next to the new fancy hot pot place, parking is abundant in the Milpitas square location. We'd visit again.

The young woman who assisted us was very kind. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she welcomed us immediately and offered us samples before making a purchase. I decided to order a scoop of Ube ice cream without sampling it first, mainly because this flavor was the only one that caught my eye. While the flavor was rich, the quality of the ice cream could have been better. I am a big fan of ice cream and have tried many different types, enjoying it year-round regardless of the weather. However, this ice cream did not meet my expectations regarding creaminess; it had a texture more akin to mashed potatoes. This was also the case for the other fruit flavors that my friends ordered. The shop itself had a bright and welcoming interior and I felt that it was appropriately sized for what they sold. They offered both indoor and outdoor seating. In terms of price, we paid a little over $15 for two single scoops, one in a cup and the other in a cone.

Been meaning to try this place and I am so happy that we finally did! Located in one of the busiest malls in the area, the foot traffic alone keeps this place busy but add the fans who are craving a sweet treat from Sugar Mama, you'll see a constant churn of patrons. Just be patient when waiting for a parking spot - it gets hectic on weekend evenings! Upon entering, you'll find yourself in a cozy and cutely decorated ice cream parlor with a few tables and chairs for diners to enjoy their treats. As you walk in, your eyes will become fixated on the colorful flavors available for the day. All of their flavors are freshly made and are available for tasting before purchase. We were helped by Eva and she had great energy throughout the service. Eva gave us some of her personal recommendations and helped us find the flavors we wanted to settle on for our first time visit. She delivered all of our scoops with smiles and truly made us feel welcomed. The service alone will have you coming back as a regular! The fruit flavors tasted really fresh! They were not overly flavored like other shops that serve artificially flavored treats; the natural fruit flavors came out really well. The non-fruit flavors were unique and delicious! Some are must try's! The texture of their ice cream is on the creamier side so if you do choose to go with a cone, eat carefully and be vigilant with your licks! We ended up settling on these: Strawberry - one of the best strawberry ice cream I've had. If you're a fan of fruit flavors, get this! Durian - great natural durian flavor. The smell is not overpowering and the texture is not too rich so you can eat a lot of it! Black Sesame brittle - one of their most unique flavors. The brittle is made with black sesame and gives a good crunch with each bite. Must try! Thai tea - refreshing and not too rich. It was good! As for the size of each cup, we decided to get a double cup which is a two flavor scoop. We shared among the family so had the chance to enjoy all the flavors. They have other sizes too but double seems to be the most economical. They also have a reward program - get enough scoops and you earn a chance to spin their wheel. Some of the prizes earn you free scoops! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Sugar Mama and due to their signature flavors as well as rotating flavors and their phenomenal service, we will definitely chart this on the itinerary anytime we happen to travel towards the South Bay!

Sugar Mama desserts always has a long line and for good reason. It's a tad experience but I don't mind splurging because the flavors are so unique and all the workers I've encountered are so incredibly sweet. They rotate through their flavor offerings often so it's hard to predict what they'll have when you stop in. I've always found something I enjoyed when coming in, but it's unfortunate that they don't always have pints in stock so when I'm searching for a certain flavor, they don't always have it. The Pandan ice cream was good though I wish I the flavor was stronger / more intense. Cookie Monster is ok too, though isn't very unique especially for the prices you're paying. What I say is worth is is the strawberry kiwi!! If you ever see it offered, you have to try it. I've tried their strawberry and didn't quite enjoy it but the strawberry kiwi tastes so different and may be my favorite flavor of all time. Now, I'll always stop by and snag a pint of it whenever they have it in stock.

We couldn't decide on a dessert vendor for our wedding. Luckily, one of our friends had booked Sugar Mama for their wedding so we got to try the ice cream out beforehand! We really loved the idea of having an ice cream cart as it is something interactive for the guests. I'm so glad we made that decision. We decided not to go with a cake or dessert table as from my experience attending other weddings, a lot of people forget about the cake at the end. Upon booking, we set up a date to go to their shop so we could try out all the different flavors. And they had so many different flavors! We ended up picking the 6 in the picture below. It was a hit with our guests! Sugar Mama also gifted us 2 free pints as well and we loved it! Will def come back in the future to get more pints from here.

Very simple and small cute ice cream place! I randomly stumbled upon this shop looking for something light and refreshing after a heavy meal. The sign full of unique flavors intrigued me so I decided to give it a shot. The person behind the counter was very friendly and gave me multiple sample to try before deciding. 1. Lychee - This was a refreshing taste, exactly what I was looking for! It had little bits of lychee in it, not big enough for it to change the creamy texture of the ice cream, but enough for you to notice it there. I think this is one of the better done lychee ice creams out there if you're looking for a pure lychee taste.

Yum! We still stopped by on a whim after dinner and got a scoop of Black Sesame Brittle which was really great! The flavor was similar to the filling of black sesame tang yuan with the added twist of brittle. The brittle tasted like crunchy caramel and while I liked the texture it did make the ice cream a tad sweet. However the black sesame flavor was really really nice. Would definitely come back again if we're in the square.

I will definitely be coming back to try their other fun flavors but I love the durian! It's so creamy and not too sweet. It tastes just like blended durian and milk. The serving size is great for 1-2 people. It's a tiny shop so there's no indoor dining but there are a few tables & chairs outside. Staff was patient and let us sample a few flavors.

I love their unique flavors and they're not just interesting but all very well done. I can never finish a whole cone by myself so I prefer to get a pint to go and slowly work through it with my family. Definitely a great place for adults and kids alike to come explore. Service is good but in terms of ambiance, it's more a to-go place.

Sugar Mama has some very unique and delicious ice cream! They have your classic flavors and some exotic ones as well, like durian, Henny Penny, and saffron rosewater pistachio. They change their flavors weekly! I got the Irish whiskey praline and Cookie Monster. Surprisingly, these two flavors complimented each other really well. You can definitely taste some of the whiskey in the ice cream, but it's not overpowering.

This is the only Asian ice cream shop that offers lots of exotic fruit flavors, ube, black sesame, saffron rose, sweet corn, oreo, and much more. Plus they're nice to offer a sample before you purchase a scoop or two. I have been there a few times and all their ice cream flavors are not 90% packed with sugar with the right creaminess. I can even taste the real ingredients; no food coloring and artificial flavors involved like corporate ice cream shops. Black Sesame- roasted sesame flavor that tastes like 40% sugar Yuzu Meringue- has a yuzu tart flavor, not sour Sweet corn- corn bits go well with the ice cream; reminds me of a Filipino dessert (Maja Blanca) Fresh jackfruit- surprisingly the jackfruit didn't stick my teeth like real fruit, but not too sweet Their flavors rotate every week or by season, so it's worth coming back for more. Plus they sell in pints in certain flavors. The shop is small with a few tables inside and outside, focusing on takeout. I prefer sitting outside so I can enjoy it under the sunset or fresh air in the evening.

My favorite place to get ice cream in the South Bay! They have unique flavors on rotation. The flavors are always strong and the texture always creamy :) My most recent visit was on National Ice Cream Day! They were giving free cones with purchase of scoop. The two flavors are Guava and Black Sesame Brittle. The guava was perfectly sweet and tart, while the Black Sesame had a great variety in texture. The worker was very helpful and offered samples! I tried the Pandan (delicious!) and Durian (if you love durian, this is for you!! Strong durian flavor! Felt like I was eating the real thing). There are a couple of tables inside and outside. They also sell pints as well! As I mentioned, the flavors rotate every week or so. I usually check their IG for updates, but it seems to not be updated consistently. Could be fun though because the flavors are a surprise when you go lol

Sugar Mama Desserts was a hidden gem found in the 99 Ranch shopping center in Milpitas. We had the black sesame brittle and the pistachio vanilla as recommended by the staff. Service was excellent. They were super nice and allowed us to sample flavors. The only minus was that the white floors were extremely dirty which was a bit disconcerting. Also note that it has been really Sunny lately so it cannot be weather driven. I usually look at cleaning as a barometer of the quality of the food. Then I think to myself if the ice cream was made in clean conditions. Hopefully someone can go and mop the floors. Other than that, I would come back.

Sugar Mama offers such strong and unique ice cream flavors. There can be a bit of a wait during hot days because there might just be one employee working. I would recommend ordering a double scoop over a single scoop so you get more of a deal. I ordered and shared a double scoop with my sister consisting of the Black Sesame Brittle and the Fresh Ube. Both were delightful, but I preferred the Fresh Ube more. The Fresh Ube had such a deep Ube flavor and the texture was not too smooth. The Black Sesame Brittle contained large chunks of sesame brittle which were chunky and added a bit more sweetness than I would have liked to the scoop. The serving sizes are generous and the service was great. I would return here again to try other flavors on hot days. Definitely one of the better ice cream spots in the bay.

OMG! Thank you for coming into our office and setting up the ice cream bar. There were 4 scoop flavors and and I managed to try 3/4. Glad there was a vegan option for the lactose individuals. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE: Raspberry Lychee!!! It was so creamy and good. Not too too sweet which is what I like. I went back down for seconds but there was no more. I will be going to the shop soon to get another scoop. I look forward to that. The workers were so nice and greeted all of us and let us pick any ones we liked. There was also ice cream sandwiches. I did not end up trying the chocolate chip coffee one but I did try the vanilla oreo one which was delicious. Everyone must go!

I love the selection Suga Mama offers! Super unique, I think I would prefer a bit less sugar though. The chocolate fudge brownie was actually super good, loved the thickness of the cream and chocolate! Great service, thanks for letting us sample so many!

Very community/family feel here as can be witnessed by the young folks working here and their relationship with the owner. I appreciated how welcoming and accommodating they were. They also let me try as many flavors as needed to make my decision (all of them pretty impressive). I opted for the Banana Walnut, which reminded me of a childhood favorite, and the Pistachio, which had a subtle and appealing pistachio taste as you kept eating. I liked how creamy and perfectly sweet the flavors were. Oh and they gave HUGE scoops. I do wish they had a better set up for indoor seating.

Service was great, they were very accommodating and encouraged us to try out all the flavors they have. The ice cream flavors I got were the coffee crunch and rose lychee. Both were just the right sweetness and distinct flavor. Apart from ice creams they also sell some baked dessert and hot chocolate bombs.

Good ice cream. Small serving felt like I did not get a full scoop of ice cream for the price and the poor gurl was struggling to scoop it. The owner showed have that figured out and proper training on it for the price.

unique flavors for an ice cream shop but kind of on the pricier side. i really liked the fact that you can sample each flavor before choosing and they had flavors like rose water sake , blueberry oreo, and raspberry lychee to name a few. the one flavor that really stood out to me was the black sesame with brittle as it had actual brittle and was a strong black sesame flavor. otherwise the raspberry lychee tasted kind of like bubblegum with bits of lychee. the ice cream is not too sweet and they have other interesting flavors that i hope to try one day.

SMD is located in Milpitas Square, the shopping plaza located off of Barber Lane. This shop is small in size and sandwiched right between a massage shop + an eatery. Upon entry, there are 12 assorted delicious flavors to choose from and sample if needed. Thank you to the sales associate for being extremely patient, kind, and so generous with allowing me to sample a few flavors. She didn't hesitate, huff, or puff when I made an additional request. Our party eventually settled with a single scoop of FRESH DURIAN on a sugar cone & a single scoop of YUZU MERINGUE PIE in a cup. Ice cream was good but the stand out flavor of the night was durian!!! The distinct fruit flavor was strong but not too overwhelming. I liked the fact that the ice cream was not pumped with artificial yellow coloring which is typically common with durian products. While yuzu was doable, I was hoping for some kind of a tarty zing to give off a refreshing pop. Unfortunately this wasn't the case & the flavors were sweet through and through. Again, this one is okay but the tart lover in me thinks it could have been better. 5 solid stars for Sugar Mama Desserts & for the petite employee working tonight [Thursday, April 30th]. Not only was the dessert memorable but the customer service was just as amazing!! I'm definitely coming back to try a few interesting flavors I noticed. ***FYI: Flavors change out weekly & the portions are generous. Don't let the tiny [[single]] cups fool you!!!***

I've been wanting to come here for a while now. They have a lot more flavors for pints but a limited amount for scoops. I wanted to try the pandan but they didn't have any scoops of that so I tried the Vanilla Pistachio & that was rly good. We ended up getting a scoop of Tie Guan Yin. It tasted like a light, creamy milk tea ice cream. Id definitely order this again. There were very limited tables inside. Parking can also be difficult in this plaza especially on the weekends. Hope Pandan is available the next time I come back!

I stopped by here on Sunday afternoon and got to try a lot of the flavors; I like the milk chocolate pearl crunch and fresh pandan best out of the ones I tried since the milk chocolate pearl crunch is very sweet and chocolatey but also has some texture. I wasn't as much a fan of the yuzu meringue pie, but more because the yuzu has a distinct tang to it that's different than lemon or lime. The black sesame brittle has a lot of sesame if you like that. The fresh lychee was pretty good too and does taste true to flavor, so I ended up getting a double of the fresh pandan and fresh lychee.

This place definitely has some yummy flavors to try! The saffron pistachio has super great subtle flavors. The seasonal pumpkin is great for fall, but the biscuit mixed in is understandably soggy, but doesn't add anything that a similar sauce or other topping can't do. The mocha almond fudge is delicious, probably my favorite. Even with the great flavors, the consistency is very gelato like and too liquidy to be ice cream. The consistency messed with the experience and had the ice cream drip every where too quickly. The decor wasn't my favorite and looked a little tacky. Not sure if I would come back when there are other options to try.

Overall, I'd give Sugar Mama a solid 4 stars. The ambiance is a bit cramped with a small interior, but they do have outdoor seating available. Parking can be a bit crowded, but we were able to find a spot without too much trouble. As for wait time, we didn't have to wait long at all before being able to order. Now let's talk about the ice cream! My gf and I opted for the Tie Guan Yin and Black Sesame flavors. The portions are good and provide good value for the price. They have a wide selection of flavors that rotate out, so there's always something new to try. While the flavor isn't as good as places like Salt and Straw, Pints of Joy, or Sweet Gelato, it's still good value and the best ice cream in the Milpitas area. My only gripe is that the cups are quite small, which contrasted with the generous scoops creates a precarious situation. Please invest in a larger cup for your double scoops! All in all, if you're in the Milpitas area and looking for a good spot for ice cream, Sugar Mama is definitely worth checking out. Good value, good portions, and a wide selection of flavors make it a solid choice for a sweet treat.

Tiny shop that I have easily passed by and missed over the years. Stumbled upon it recently, serendipity! They have a lot of unique flavors and they let me sample! I love it when desserts come in with Asian flavors The daily menu shows what flavors you can get as scoops (~13 when I went) and there's a separate pint menu (more extensive list of flavors to take home). At the time of this review it's $5 for 1 single scoop, 1 flavor only - durian. I know it's not for everyone but If you like durian you should get this lol. Or sample it if you're unsure - honey lavender blueberry. I enjoyed this. Subtle hint of floral lavender and taste the sweeteners from the honey and berries - rose water sake- has alcohol, was tasty when I sampled it. Try this if you rose flavors (my husband doesn't like floral flavors so not for him). - lychee when I sampled I thought it was okay, maybe it wasn't as strong as the other fruit flavors I sampled before it maybe. They sell hot cocoa bombs. I've never tried these before but interesting gift ideas. Many flavors offered too. Only a couple of tables for sitting. Again very small shop. Will come back to try more flavors like pandan and more (I didn't want to hold up the line lol)

Came here for ice cream last night with a few friends. It was my first time. The 2 staff were very friendly, and the male staff who was taking orders was super helpful in answering questions about the flavors and letting us sample the flavor. Two of my friends really liked their pandan flavor while I needed a caffeine kick and got their coffee crunch flavor. I sampled 2 flavors (pandan and vanilla caramel, I think), and it wasn't too sweet, which I love. The texture and consistency of the ice cream are smooth, and it's not clumpy. I didn't take a picture of their menu as it seemed to change per my friend who had gone there before. It's a very small shop and decorated very cute with a few tables. Definitely will return in the future when in the area for some desserts.

We came by this spot while in the area and craving some ice cream! I got excited because I saw durian on their menu! So I tried that and my bf got the strawberry sorbet! The durian ice cream was so good! They blended it really well and it was really smooth! I would like to have some fresh chunk of durian though but this place blended everything in nicely. Still good. The strawberry sorbet was really refreshing and tasty as well, for half the calories! lol. The place is small and a bit dirty but they serve good ice cream!

Ice cream! They have some special flavors like pandan, durian, sweet corn, black sesame. Unfortunately the time we got there, there was no pandan or black sesame flavors, which we were excited about. But we tried the sweet corn, strawberry kiwi and durian. The durian was really good. The service was pretty nice as well.

I love sugar mama ice cream! My fav is the black sesame brittle! It has deep black sesame flavor and little chunks of candy in it. Makes the texture creamy and crunchy! So good! I loved it so much that I had them cater my company's summer social! It was super fun! They came with extra ice cream to make sure we had enough for everyone. It was a huge hit! I stocked up my freezer with their ice cream just in case my craving hits They also have lots of other flavors and sell other stuff like milk bombs and pandan waffle. Must try if you like black sesame !

Sugar Mama Desserts is amazing! I hired them for a company work event and it was such a successful event! Everyone loved the ice cream flavors and the sundae bar. Their staff is super easy to work with and very friendly. The owner, Renisa, is a rockstar! I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them! My favorite flavors were: - Dark Chocolate Salty Caramel - Vanilla Pistachio Crunch - Coffee Pearl Crunch Those are my favorites, but I loved them all! Thank you again, Sugar Mama Desserts! You guys are awesome!

Great service, easy to work with, reliable, and of course delicious ice cream and sundae bar. This our second year hiring Sugar Mama for our event and we'll be back.

We decided to try out this spot since it has great reviews and it was right in the plaza where we had dinner. When we came after dinner, there was a line so you know this place is good. I felt like getting my favorite flavor cookies and cream and it was probably the best cookies and cream I've ever had! There was lots of oreo cookies inside which made it so delicious. My friends got the durian flavor and raspberry lychee, which are pretty unique flavors. I definitely want to come back again to get cookies and cream again and try their other unique flavors!

Sugar Mama is serving up housemade small batch ice cream packed with unique Asian-inspired flavors. We love coming here for a pint or two (or three...!) and enjoying the deliciousness at home. Flavors for scoops rotate every now and then, but there are a TON of flavors that you can buy in pints. Don't be afraid to ask for samples -- workers are super friendly! Our go-tos so far are the Black Sesame Brittle and Yuzu Meringue Pie. Black Sesame Brittle. Rich and creamy black sesame ice cream with perfectly crunchy black sesame brittle. Think peanut brittle but with toasted black sesame seeds instead of peanuts. It's just the right amount of crunch swirled with caramel toffee that doesn't break or stick to your teeth but adds a unique texture to keep you wanting more. Sweet, toasty and nutty, and absolutely addicting. Yuzu Meringue Pie. Lemon meringue pie, but make it yuzu! Creamy yuzu ice cream with pieces of pie crust. Soooo good!! With the huge number of flavors they offer, each trip to Sugar Mama will be just as exciting as the last. But with ice cream as good as this, every visit is exciting.

Hidden behind the pillar, it's small but it gives cute vibes. None of the ice cream was labeled at this time in the afternoon so the associate was very kind and explained each flavour for us and gave us samples as needed. We got lychee and guava in a cup and butterscotch in another. Lychee was creamy, tastes fresh and light. Very refreshing for the hot day we have! Guava taste was light and refreshing as well and lychee overwhelmed it easily. Still yummy. The employee said they make the ice cream in house and rotate thru flavours so some flavours you see on the menu may not be there! But are sold in ready to go pints! Very cool! We'll be back for new flavours!
