Sun Hing Lung Review - Chinatown - New York - The Infatuation

"For the best rice rolls in Chinatown, head to this tofu factory on Henry Street. Order from the window on the street, and you’ll get to watch as rice rolls are made to order right in front of you, going from liquid to gooey noodle sheet in a matter of a minute or so. Depending on your filling of choice (we like the tiny dried shrimp, but pork or egg are good bets too), this will cost somewhere between $1.50 and $2. Top that with the variety of sauces - peanut, soy, hoisin, and sriracha - and you have one of the best breakfasts/lunches/snacks in NYC. There isn’t anywhere to sit, but you’ll also probably scarf the contents of the styrofoam container down in about three minutes on the street anyway. Just come early in the day, as they’re only open from 7:30am to 3pm. photo credit: Noah Devereaux" - Hillary Reinsberg

We missed the M9 and decided to hustle over a block for rice rolls over at Sun Hing Lung Ho Fun Tofu - and we’re so glad we did. Only in Chinatown can you get so much good food for 4 people (we only have 3 but one is a teen!) for less than $20! We ordered the dried shrimp rice roll (yummy and has fresh green onion!!!), fresh shrimp rice roll, beef rice roll, pork rice roll, fresh tofu, and decided to try the jelly they had stacked on a table (it’s jello that comes with a sweet sauce to pour on top) and the grand total was less than $20! This isn’t Cheung Fun Noodles but the variety and kindness of the nice woman at the window made this just as great! Definitely a must go for rice rolls if you’re shopping at the grocery and hangry :)

Google
Very authentic spot! I came around 10 AM—no line, and only waited about 3 minutes for the fresh veggie rice rolls. I wanted to try the fried tofu, but they were out, so the lady kindly offered me the sweet tofu instead—and it was so good! I totally see why this place is so popular with locals. I found it through TikTok and was not disappointed—super fresh, delicious, and only $5? Wow!!!

Google
Sun Hing Lung/Plain Steamed Rice Roll: The service was fast and friendly and the employee was very nice. But, unfortunately this spot is out to lunch (no pun intended). My gut was in a knot when I saw how deserted the line was because there wasn’t any. And it was confirmed when my order looked like discolored cabbage and tasted as bland as unseasoned rice; even the soy sauce didn’t help.

Google
CASH ONLY. For the price, this is an excellent rice roll that is SUPER QUICK. No more waiting 40 minutes at any other location. The ladies working here will get your order in 3-5 minutes flat. I highly recommend the egg rice roll and add scallions. They also keep sauces outside that are all delicious: hoisin, peanut sauce, soy sauce, and sriracha. I personally just added all 4 and it was delicious. This is really great for the price and might now be my go to spot when I need this.

Google
5 stars for 5 reasons 1. Best rice rolls! Fresh, warm and good texture! 2. Price is unparalleled! 2.5 for one rice roll! Can’t beat that! 3. Quick service 4. Nice folks and good service 5. Nice simplified menu easy to order

Google
Great rice rolls, had the pork, veggie , and chicken all delicious! Make sure you put plenty of sauce on it . Cash only ** Great quick service . Definitely will be back when in the area !

Google
One of the best rice rolls that I had ever have. Price is very reasonable and you can eat outside next to the shop or take back to your hotel room / office. Seafood and pork rolls are both wonderful and very memorable!

Google
No-frills Cantonese steamed rice rolls at an unbeatable price. The food is simple yet so flavorful and comforting - be sure to add sauces like soy, peanut, and hoisin after getting your rice roll! This is primarily a takeout spot, but you can still enjoy your meal in the open space outside the restaurant.

Yelp
Sun Hing Lung is a Two Bridge tasty cheap eats literal hole-in-the-wall like you'd find in Flushing. I've been exploring assorted steamed rice rolls, from Joe's in Flushing to others in Chinatown. Sun Hing Lung, a friendly bare bone operation with only a window to order and take away, offers a rice roll serving hitting one of the lowest price points I've seen! With those low prices, they even include a variety of sauces too! Wow! I enjoyed the tender fresh shrimp and roast pork rice rolls, especially flavored with a peanut sauce. (Note - Respectively $4 and $3.25.) That being said, the rolls could benefit from something like scallions, which I'll try to get next time. Regardless, Sun Hing Lung was quick, fresh, and a great deal! Keep in mind, you'll need to find a place nearby to sit to enjoy them while they're hot!

Yelp
Pro-tip: Note that there's "fresh" shrimp rice rolls and shrimp rice rolls on the menu - without the word fresh, it's frozen and smaller. It's literally a hole in the wall so plan to eat this standing on the sidewalk or taken somewhere else. Highlights: It's a cool concept to get cheap rice rolls quickly without having to commit to an entire dim sum meal. I love their variety of rice rolls and also variety of sauces that you add yourself. They aren't like the best rice roll I've ever had but still pretty good. Lowlights: There's not a lot of filling in each of the rice rolls, but you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Not mindblowing, but good food for cheap! Worth a stop on a Chinatown tour. We got a pork rice noodle roll and a corn rice noodle roll. The rice noodles are made fresh and come out warm and chewy, and they are generous with the portions. They also have a little sauce station where you can add sriracha, soy, peanut sauce, etc. Hole in the wall with no seats, but the containers aren't difficult to handle so many people just stand and eat on the sidewalk.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place since this place was so highly rated! I ordered a fish ball rice noodle and was pretty disappointed. It came with 2 and a half fish balls cut in half...I went back to look at other people's pictures and saw that if you order curry fish balls, you get full fish balls and more but a regular fish ball rice noodle, you get half fish balls. The noodles were fresh and soft. You add whatever sauce you want yourself which we opted for soy sauce and peanut sauce but they were both so diluted. The price was under $4 for this but I wouldn't come back again.

Yelp
After seeing so many Tiktoks praising the rice noodle rolls at Sun Hing Lung, I crossed over to the East Broadway side of Chinatown to pay them a visit. Sun Hing Lung also has an outpost by Grand and Bowery, but they only sell tofu and other soy products. I ordered a large cilantro rice noodle roll ($5) which I was a bit taken aback by as the large portion over at my favorite cart on Hester and Elizabeth was only $3.50. But, you do get a double portion of rice noodle rolls (small is $2.50) and they are quite thick so in the future, I think I'll go with a small order. Overall, I was quite disappointed with how thick and gummy these rolls were. the texture lacked the light bounciness and felt dense sitting in my stomach. I did think there was an even dispersion of herbs in my rice noodle rolls, but it was on the bland side. There are sauce bottles on the ledge by the window where you place your order so that you can douse to your heart's content. I'm willing to give them a second try because I love their tofu, but for now my favorite still remains the cheong fun cart on Hester and Elizabeth.
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
This hole in the wall served some Mean rice noodles. Tender and chewy...perfect texture. I tied the rice noodles with fish balls and it was really good. They have the typical sauces but no sesame Seeds! No frills but for a few bucks can't go wrong. Tried the tofu fa and it was meh. Very diluted so almost no soy bean flavor. The sugar syrup was just simple syrup, no ginger flavor. So stick with the rice noodles and skip the tofu fa.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't come here enough. But I came on a rainy morning and waited for my order to be placed. They have all the traditional soy products such as soy milk, tofu, tofu puffs, then freshly made rice noodles from the machine, there are plain ones and ones with dried shrimps. Other than the ones you take home, they also have made to order rice rolls from the menu. I ordered beef brisket, dried shrimp, beef rice rolls and my favorite was the dried shrimp. Luckily, I got 2 packs of the rice rolls that were freshly packaged so I can heat it up to enjoy later. Everything is very affordable. So you can try a lot of items on the menu. The line does move semi slow, but that'll give you more time to think about your order.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best and freshest rice rolls places I've been. My siblings and I shared the rice roll with fish cake and it was so good - I love how they have the hoison and peanut sauce in the squeeze bottles so you can adjust the ratio to your heart's content! I wanted to try more but it is quite filling. Took off a star because I did see some practices that weren't as hygienic. Service was quite fast.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my new favorite spots in the city! It will be one of the cheapest meals you will get. The texture is chewier than Joe's Steam Rice Roll but I love a mochi texture so sometimes I am craving this one over Joe's. The simple one with all the veggies is my go to since the shrimp is just dried shrimp (Joe's has fresh shrimp). They make this super fast, don't be intimated by the older Chinese ladies ordering, they just know what they want and don't waste any time. It's usually a younger person working the cashier so she speaks English. Make sure you put all the sauces on your rice rolls after!
google avatar

Henry Y.

Yelp
Hole-in-a-wall place for getting 'chang fen' (rice noodle roll). They make it fresh in front of you. You legit can't get this cheaper anywhere else in the US, unless your mom makes it for you (the real cost is the lecture or trauma-dumping). Super quick snack or brunch on the go. There's no seats but they do have a trash can. I give Sun Hing Lung 5 noods, out of 5.
google avatar

Roxanne O.

Yelp
Friendly service, super reasonable prices, and quick. I love how chewy it is. Don't forget to add the sauces before you go, or you'll have to run back like I did!
google avatar

Yelp
I heard about this spot on Instagram/tiktok and decided to try it out after having tried a few other cheung fun(rice roll) spots in NYC's Chinatown. This is a no frills, pay at the counter cash only spot. You order at the window and you can see your order being made right in front of you if you're getting the cheung fun. I love how the texture of the rice rolls had the right chew to it, and there are also sauce bottles on the counter so we added a bunch of peanut and hoisin sauce. Would definitely come here again! What we ordered: -Curry Fish Ball Rice Roll
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
The prices here are really good ($2.50 for a huge portion of rice rolls). However the rice rolls were definitely more rice than protein which I was disappointed by. This spot is also cash only.
google avatar

Saya Y.

Yelp
Yes, absolutely, just do it. The texture is out of this world, the flavor is perfect and the soy sauce on top is perfect. This dish feels like a warm blanket out of the drier, just perfection. Also so incredibly affordable at $2.5
google avatar

Vivienne C.

Yelp
There are so many steamed rice rolls places in Chinatown. The question is always which one to eat? We stumbled on this cute stall and I love that you can watch everyone in the back make everything fresh. The rolls were $2.50 each which was insanely affordable. - Pork Rice Roll - I wish they put more pork in this rice roll as it felt like I only had a taste of the meat every other bite. I would rather them up their price than skimp on this to be honest. I felt like the rice rolls were a bit tougher and less delicate than the other locations I've been to in NYC. I think I need to put a bit more sauce on it when I eat at this place next time. - Corn Rice Roll - I wish they put a little bit more corn in this one to really bring out the flavor. Like the other rice roll, I felt like this rolls here were a little too thick for my liking. Overall, okay steamed rice rolls in Chinatown. Excited to try more different palces!
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
Insanely affordable and delicious rice rolls! The rice noodles are so smooth and chewy. And it comes out piping hot since you can literally watch them cook it before your eyes. I also really love that the sauces are self serve because I personally love drenching mine. And the sauces get absorbed by the noodles so you can always go up and get some more. While there's no seating, there are some tables down the street so it's not a big deal at all. And it's on a side street so it hasn't been too busy in the area that I've seen.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot in chinatown by a residential area for freshly made rice rolls. Hot fresh in the morning for your breakfast. The rice rolls come out hot and customized by your preference. Go for the soy sauce, hoisin, peanut sauce with egg and scallion. They also have great curry fish balls here too. My go to breakfast in the area. Will be back.
google avatar

Grace Z.

Yelp
Quick and convenient over the counter spot. The rice rolls are freshly made to order and hard to beat value for price ($3.50 for mixed toppings, most options are $2.50) Make sure to have cash!
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
If only I frequented this part of Chinatown... Sun Hing Lung would take all my money. It's affordable, delicious, nostalgic. Such fresh cherng fun made to perfection plus you get to pour on as much sauce as you'd like. After many years I finally returned last week for the curry fish ball steamed rice rolls. They were steaming hot but I still managed to scarf them down right there on the street. Pls note these are literal street foods - there's no where but the apt stoop next door to sit/enjoy your food. The soy milk has only a hint of sweetness and it's not too sugary compared to other spots. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking but such a good casual breakfast/lunch.
google avatar

Ritwika B.

Yelp
Made fresh to order, steaming hot but not enough meat. Only rice rice and more rice, garnished with meat. Disappointed at the proportions. Really wished it was a bit more balanced instead of a meat garnish. Got 4 rolls and felt like we only got rice. Sadly won't be coming back.
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
I love this place, the cheung fun is super tasty and is made fresh to order. It was the first time that I saw cheung fun being made fresh before my eyes and it was a neat experience! It is cash only and you order, pay and get your food at the same window. There's limited seating area, so it may be good to go to a nearby park or take it to go. We ordered some drinks at a nearby coffee shop (Dreamers) and ate our food there. The lady who took our order was friendly and spoke English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. We ordered beef, roast bbq pork, chicken, and dried shrimp. My personal favorites were the beef and the dried shrimp. I like to coat it with the peanut sauce and soy sauce. So delicious and for super cheap too!
google avatar

Kristina N.

Yelp
Best rice rolls. Come weekday or off peak or there can be a long wait. Have visited 5x or more. Today we got pork rice roll, add egg; chicken rice roll, curry fish ball rice roll add egg, cold soy milk sweetened and grass jelly dessert. Have gotten their hot soy milk unsweetened in the past visit. Woman is super nice and friendly. Hole in the wall but everything is fresh and delicious!! Come, you won't regret it!
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
I can't believe I've lived in NYC my whole life and never stopped here sooner. This is a walk up counter gem. The street isn't too busy so not a big deal to eat off to the side. For $3.75 I got a big portion of delicious chewy rice rolls with curry fish balls. They have sauces you can add yourself (hoisin, sriracha, peanut sauce) so you can make whatever you want of it. I definitely will be coming back and making up for lost time.
google avatar

Sonia L.

Yelp
one of my favorite quick takeout eats in Chinatown for 6+ years now. It is a hole in the wall with a walk up counter to order and there's no place to sit but only a small counter with sauces. They also sell pre made rolls too in bags as well as frozen dumplings. I got the pork rice roll with eggs and a herbal tea (not pictured). All rice roll here are made to order and they are made relatively quick as well. The herbal tea was pretty good too, not too sweet and reminded me of what I had when I was a child.
google avatar

Gloria W.

Yelp
Prices are amazing, but the food didn't wow me. I always love supporting hole-in-the-wall restaurants, but I honestly did not love the pork rice rolls. The texture was a bit mushy when I expected a chewier, rice noodle consistency, and there was little flavor until I added sriracha on my own after.
google avatar

Taylor Z.

Yelp
Okay rice roll place. Not as much toppings as some other places but cheaper. The service is quick and it's a takeout spot.
google avatar

Jasmine N.

Yelp
super cheap and fresh made rice noodles with all the toppings you want. i really enjoyed my bbq pork rice noodles!

Yelp
We had to stop here on our Chinatown food crawl! I am a big fan of Chinese rice rolls and they are one of my favorites to get a dim sum. This small little shop had a long line, but it moved pretty fast (took 15-20 mins). Of note, this place is to go only and there is no seating here. We got the char siu and vegetable/Chinese sausage rice rolls for about $3 each. The rice rolls came out piping hot and had a delicious, bouncy, chewy texture. There were lots of different sauces to put on it (soy, hoisin, peanut, and sriracha). I think the char siu was definitely better than the vegetable/Chinese sausage since I didn't think the vegetables really added a ton of flavor and got in the way of the chewy texture. Overall, for the price it can't be beat and is a great snack to have in Chinatown! We will be back to try more!
google avatar

Dorian C.

Yelp
Quick, no frills, cash only. I love how fast these guys are as I would pass by every morning (Fairfield hotel near by) and there's always a line. The line moves fast as well. Freshly made rice rolls to order and options to custom wise your toppings. Sauces available are hot sauce, peanut/sesame, soy sauce. The store front ambiance is more like a rice roll factory. You'll be able to see the crew crank out hundreds of rice rolls in minutes.
google avatar

Mahika A.

Yelp
Amazing! We got the veggie and added egg for a vegetarian option. The sauces are key, so go crazy. Cash only and very very affordable price. Only had a $5 on us otherwise we would've come back for more. There is a nearby cafe which we ordered a coffee at so we could sit down and eat.
google avatar

Gavin L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a whole in the wall, cheap and absolutely delicious Cheung fun spot, this is the place. I was quite hesitant reviewing this place just because I wanted to gatekeep it for myself but, it deserves the recognition! The rice rolls are super cheap, and have a huge variety. They make everything fresh right in front of you and you're able to add all the sauces you want. This place had some of the softest rice rolls I've ever had. They have a section outside for seating and it's away from all the super touristy areas in Chinatown. I would highly recommend visiting!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I love this place because you can add as much sauce as you want. It's always the same consistent amazing quality as well. It's a small shop with just an ordering space. But you can see they make everything fresh. They had a short line, so it took about 5-10 minutes to order and get my order. I also got their individual rice noodle bags which are less than 3$ a bag. I love cutting them up and making stir fried noodles with them. Super delicious. I'm a huge curry fish ball with peanut sauce type of gal, but I ended up trying their beef brisket, and it was good!!! They didn't add too much beef brisket, but it was still delicious. I think I still love their curry fish ball with peanut sauce better though. Still my go to and will always be a favorite of mine. Tl;dr - recommend curry fish balls rice noodles or beef brisket rice noodles, super affordable and delicious
google avatar

Keagan S.

Yelp
Waited super super long in line. When we got to the front, they stopped taking orders for a while which was frustrating. Finally ordered and got our rice rolls- they were good but not something that I would come back for.
google avatar

Dakota D.

Yelp
Prices were so cheap. Turn around time was pretty quick as well. Less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend the Chinese sausage and mixed vegetable. I wonder if next time I could mix the two actually.
google avatar

Estee A.

Yelp
My 2nd time two Tuesdays ago right before they closed. First time I ordered the brisket and chicken rice rolls, both just okay, loved the brisket flavor with the scallions, but the actual meat wasn't very meaty. Second time I got the beef (really enjoyed) and the fish ball (didn't love flavor or texture) as always the rice noodles with the sauces are amazing, hot, fresh, chewy.
google avatar

Cindy Z.

Yelp
I love all the cheap eats you can find in NY Chinatown and the rice rolls at Sun Hing Lung are definitely one of them! It's just a small window for you to order and pick up. I ordered one Pork Rice Roll ($2.50) and small Sweet Tofu Dessert ($2.50). Your rice rolls are made to order, so it takes a few minutes. As soon as I got them, they were burning hot through the plastic container. Make sure to squeeze all the soy sauce, hot sauce, and peanut sauce available on the counter to give it flavor. These rice rolls were so silky and delicious right off the pan. I will say that I ate some later when it got cold and it wasn't as great, so make sure to enjoy right away. As for the tofu dessert, I wasn't as into this one. You pour the ginger sweetener into the tofu to eat, but it wasn't as silky as I've had it before. I'd stick to the rice rolls here, which are all you need. For the price, you really can't complain with all rolls for $2.50-$4 each. Definitely a must when in Chinatown and a great snack for the day.
google avatar

Sabrina Y.

Yelp
This is one of the best places in Chinatown for this style of rice noodle! They have a plethora of different topping options (Chinese Sausage and Mixed Vegetable is one of my favourites). And, the best part is that it's a great price! For $2-3, you could have a wholly satisfying lunch or snack. I came by at lunchtime on a Saturday, and there was a line of about four people ahead of me. Service was direct and fast though, so don't be worried if you see a line. There's no seating area and the sauces are communal bottles which can get a bit messy, but I feel like these are the hallmarks of an authentic hole-in-the-wall experience, and this place does not disappoint! I'll definitely be back and I think you should be too. It's worth a trip, even if it's a bit out of your way.
google avatar

Jeffrey N.

Yelp
This place is hands down one of the best places to eat at in Chinatown. If you are ever in Chinatown, come down here for a quick bite. There is no seating available here, but right around the block, there is a park that you can eat at, or there are actually quite a few parks that are walking distance that you can eat at. What I would recommend here is the Roast Pork, and the Chinese Sausage with mixed Vegetables, those are my go too when I go over here for a quick bite. The portions are not the worst, it's pretty filling, you might need two of them to fill you up though. Also, don't forget to put your peanut sauce (if you are not allergic to nuts, that is) and your hoisin sauce in it, those are the two best sauces to put on them! Also, look at the mosaic the next time you are there, I know I certainly never knew that there was a mosaic over there!
google avatar

Katherine P.

Yelp
We came here around 10AM on a Friday and there were 5 people ahead in line. We ordered one pork rice roll and one dried shrimp rice roll at $2.50 each which is a steal! They make the rice rolls to order which cook in less than 5 minutes, so your rice rolls come out piping hot! The rolls have a very smooth texture. ADD SAUCES for an extra oomph and flavor. The pork rice roll was the better one in my opinion, and the pork pieces are very tiny. The dried shrimp was VERY pungent (coming from someone who is used to eating Asian vegetable soups with dried shrimp). There's no tables or chairs in the immediate area so be prepared to stand and eat.
google avatar

Jesse Y.

Yelp
Top notch rice rolls and they offer various flavors. First time here and I was expecting a restaurant type with at least a few tables for indoor dining however,it's just a basic storefront with a ordering counter. You're served and you add the sauces yourself. Overall was a pleasant experience and it's a quick cheap bite. Note CASH only!!!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
this place is your classic average chinatown asian takeout restaurant. service is quick, price is juicy, and food hits the spot. it was an extremely muggy and hot day today so it was not optimal to eat steaming rice rolls but i'm so glad i was able to try this spot while in town!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
It was cool to see how they make the rice rolls fresh in front of you. I ordered the beef rice rolls and while they were cheap, there was barely any meat so I don't think it was worth it.
google avatar

Martin W.

Yelp
Lunch can be very boring sometimes. But my work is by Chinatown. Because of this there is a variety of different foods which makes a big difference. Here the rice noodle rolls are very good. Have tried brisket, beef and fish ball. Really like the fish ball with some xtra scallions. Cashier is very friendly and the wait is never that long. Plus tried the fresh tofu which is a little to soft. Ohh it tasted great with veggies but I prefer firm. So stop by early because they close at 3:30.
google avatar

Rainer T.

Yelp
I walked passed on my way to the cafe next door but was pleasantly surprised to find this amazing rice roll shop. You'll see a wide variety of customers ranging from people who might have discovered the place on TikTok or elder neighbors coming by to stock up on rice rolls for home (they sell by the bundle too if you cook at home). The service is quick, no-thrills. Cash only, and they're ready within a couple of minutes. I topped mine off with all the available sauces including soy sauce, hot sauce, and peanut sauce. So far I've tried the dried shrimp and curry fish ball-- the latter takes the cake but I may just try a plain one next time to see how it compares.

Yelp
honestly cant gatekeep this place even if i want to because i want them to last forever. one of the last authentic rice noodle shops in chinatown. fresh. fast. cheap. best 3 combo words you can use for a food place. i was in and out within 5 minutes or so. ordered the dried shrimp rice noodle, fish ball rice noodle with egg, and small soy milk. the large soy milk is quart size for $5 so if you just want a bottle, get the small. it comes unsweetened so make sure you let them know whether you want sugar or not. condiments are placed by the counter, youll have to sauce your order before you leave because they don't have pre-packed sauces.
google avatar

Erica Z.

Yelp
Really good prices but food is meh Rice roll: made to order but I don't like the texture (mushy?) Zong zi: decent but I don't love the fillings
google avatar

Yves A.

Yelp
Sun Hing Lung didn't manage to tickle my fancy, but they seem to be a performing business nonetheless. The service was friendly and the food was served in a timely manner, so that's a beautiful start to the experience. The pork rice roll seems simple and filling, which it certainly is for its low price. I didn't find much flavor in it and the texture wasn't for me, but this seems like one of those cultural dishes that are known delicacies for the natives. The bits of pork that were included definitely helped with the texture and provided a small meatiness to what was otherwise soft and gelatinous. I experimented with a few sauces as well to see if it was able to grab my attention, but the taste of the rice roll itself seems pretty strong. While I wasn't a big fan of the rice roll, their menu is quite long. If you know your stuff about Chinese cuisine, pop by and maybe you can prove me wrong when it comes to Sun Hing Lung's hidden gems.

Yelp
I had had high hopes for this place as I had seen it all over instagram. 2024 Chinatown cheap eats just isn't the same as early 2000s Chinatown cheap eats. I had seen cilantro and scallion on their menu in maps but it was removed. I ordered the curry fish ball for 3.75. They have authentic HUY FONG sauce, but the sauces were super watered down and barely had any flavor. You pretty much get what you paid for. Fast counter service and you get to watch them make it in front of you. There was a little box to sit on nearby in the street from a neighboring cafe.

Yelp
Lunch for $2.50 that keeps you full? Yes please! I cannot express my love for China Town and I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. This place proves that eating out in NYC doesn't have to be expensive. The rice rolls are a great texture and have a good amount of filling. Make sure to load up on the sauces as they soak them up! The stand is small and you just order in front of a window and see them make it in front of you. No seating. This place is also cash only. Would recommend stopping by!
