"Museum restaurants can be hit or miss, but this one, in the Asian Art Museum, is a hit - we’d go back even if we weren’t also checking out an exhibit in the museum itself. It’s a counter-service spot with a menu featuring things like prawn noodles, tomato soup with coconut curry cream, and a Korean fried chicken sandwich on a steamed bao bun. There are small tables around the bright dining room, plus one large communal table at the center, and while a lot of the guests seem to be museum-goers or employees, if you work in the area, stopping by for a quick fried chicken sandwich is not a bad idea." - Will Kamensky

Fun place to relax at the end of a Thursday in a clean, stark atmosphere. Had the clam noodles with miso butter. Bit salty, but balanced it with drinks. Try the Boba Guys' matcha boba latte! Got there too late for their Happy Hour, but looking fwd to it on next visit.

A cool dining experience for a museum. You can order boba and other asian inspired snacks and food. Run by the same people as Boba Guys.

Garlic noodles: not bad, just a bit too salty. Popcorn chicken: not sure why it’s called popcorn chicken, tasted more like Japanese chicken karaage than Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Also a bit too salty.

king chicken katsu was delicious, the chicken was juicy and the katsu sauce was tasty. I like that it comes with a bone piece. it was a bit pricey but not bad if you share with another person

I’m so shocked for words. The popcorn chicken was so good, tender dark meat, with rice cakes. This is better than what you even get at most restaurants. Last thing i was expecting was to find a gem like this in a museum.

Cafe style food. A unique selection. Decently priced.

We were lucky to visit the Asian Art Museum during Sunday's soft open. We had the chicken wings, a Monday Bun, and a Hong Kong Style milk tea. Everything was excellent. The wings were just salty enough, and served with pickled radish and carrot as a garnish. The bun was flaky and flavorful. And the tea, served at your choice of sweetness, was exemplary at 75%. I could have drank 3. The carafes of water for the tables was a nice touch, as was the actual silverware. The staff was attentive and engaging. They look to have a bright future at the Museum 😄

Beyond Excellent - Food Made With Love & Creativity - The story of this place is one of those that makes your heart sing...and the food was delicious. The ambience is one that allows for reflection and conversation and the service was excellent. We shared the Garlic Noodles with Prawns and the Tea Leaf Salad (salad dressing made with Tea Leaves) ~ and came back later hoping to get it to go for my husband. I am already planning for another visit to one of my most favorite museums and will always be including lunch here.
