"The people who opened Williamsburg's Sunday in Brooklyn weren’t dreaming big enough when they named the place. In addition to an outpost in London, this popular spot now has a pop-up in a large two-story space in the South Street Seaport, which is running until at least mid-April. Among a lot of typical brunch items like avocado toast, shakshuka, and steak and eggs, the malted pancakes stick out as a “one of these things is not like the other” dish. They have a muffin-like texture and come with a slightly salty hazelnut maple praline topping that you spread like a jam. Pancakes hadn’t reached their full potential until these came along." - Kenny Yang

I’m so happy I finally got to check out this restaurant! We were seated immediately around 7:30pm on a weekday. It seemed to get more busy around 8pm, but was still fairly empty with plenty of seating. While we were able to order drinks right away, I had to find our waitress to take our food order since she hadn’t come back in awhile. They have really cute cocktails, good wine options, and the food was overall pretty good. The chopped salad was easily my favorite - such great textures and the egg was perfectly jammy! Also don’t skip out on the hummus, it was some of the best pita I’ve consumed in awhile. The spinach artichoke dip was okay and the mussels were decent, but wish we had some bread with it to soak up the sauce! Overall the starters we ordered were a really great value, with the main dishes being a bit on the pricier side. Will definitely be back for that salad!

The pancake (more like a cake) was absolutely incredible - it’s a must. I also loved the Don Ruben omelette which was such a unique combination of flavors that all worked beautifully together (mole, goat cheese and mushrooms). The watermelon with tajin was a very refreshing and simple side. While the food was great, I can’t bring myself to give a full 5 stars because of the high prices and so-so service.

Great brunch, food was absolutely delicious! 4.5 stars, but not quite a 5 for the mediocre service and exorbitant prices alone. Pancakes were phenomenal and a must try when you come here. Some of the best pancakes I've ever had, crispy on the edges, fluffy in the center, topped with a scrumptious sauce that looks like chocolate but reminiscent of a pecan pie. Also ordered the eggs scramble and a salad. Great combo of dishes to share between two hungry people. Salad was one of the most unique I've ever had, very tasty. The long island (home) fries were spectacular. Ordered one alcoholic and one nonalcoholic drink. Very very pricey for such a small volume. Honey bear in paradise was such a cute drink that I was excited about based on previous review pictures but this bear looked like it had seen much better days. Still an overall positive experience and would definitely come back here. Much easier to get reservations than their other Williamsburg location.

Very good! Cute atmosphere! Went for brunch at the pop up Seaport location. The Shakshuka was delicious, as well as the beet flavored hot chocolate- very unique and not sure it’s on the menu all the time. The Sunday pancakes were nice to try, but not fantastic. I think they look better than they are but the brown butter on top was a good addition. I’d definitely come back and do recommend checking it out!

Awesome place for drinks and dinner in seaport area. This place offer many unique cocktails that offer a small twist to traditional cocktails. They use good quality liquor. The food was outstanding . Everting we got tasted really good. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Outdoor too can also listen to music from the adjacent bar.

This location is massive. It's got seating outside and upstairs. You can expect the same dishes and cocktails than their Brooklyn location. Food was delicious and cocktails were good. I only have 2 complaints: the noise level inside is pretty high so not sure I would come here as a group since you won't hear anyone that's more than an arm's length away from you. There are also only 2 bathroom stalls for women (I imagine it's the same for men) so expect to wait if it gets busy.

Even though the service in this place is quite questionable, food speaks for it and earns it its stars. Absolutely amazing! The breakfast sandwich is one of the best I’ve had in my life. The shakshouka is very delicious. The vibe is very quaint and fits the area very nicely. Go out for a walk and stop here for great food! (Don’t blame it on service, you never know what goes on behind the scenes, they’re probably awesome humans.

It was impossible to get reservations to the Williamsburg restaurant so we got lucky with their Manhattan pop up that gave us a reservation a month in advance. For starters the location and the space for this popup location is perfect for brunch! We got the following: - 8/10 egg sandwich- the sandwich looks great on paper but the execution seemed to miss something. I couldn’t pinpoint what it was but the whole dish didn’t come together. - 7/10 cheddar scramble- nothing to look here. The eggs were however made to perfection but the only potatoes lacked flavor. - 20/10 Sunday pancakes- this is the dish that you probably go there for. These pancakes are unique and no matter your preference for them, these are must try. - we tried a couple of drinks and they look great on paper but some how the execution fell apart. If you’re hungover, give them a pass.
