Sunday Supper

Wow, just a wonderful dining stop for lunch in an airport. The new Delta Terminal 3 (I’ve travelled long enough to know the old) is so nice and refreshing. Liton served us quickly and very pleasantly and we were seated immediately and most comfortably. Enjoyed the chopped salad and the prosciutto and arugula pizza, along with a cocktail and a Stella. Attentive and prompt service made this a joy! Thank you Liton.

I stopped to grab something before my flight and it took about ten minutes for me to receive the saddest looking sandwich for $20. Then when I tried to sit down I was shooed away because the seating is for customers ordering off of their other menu and not for people ordering from the window. I explained that I was waiting for my food and was told to go to the other side of the hall where other restaraunts had seating if I wanted to sit even though there wasn't a single other person sitting at Sunday supper seats. Workers were constantly touching food with their hands and not washing them or using gloves. Don't waste your money here.

Friendly and professional service. Comfortable seating. Clean. Decent food. Generous portions. Normal airport pricing. It was a nice place to sit and eat while waiting an hour or so to head to our gate. We ordered online (QR code at table). The breakfast sandwich comes with your choice of bread - bagel, English muffin, and a couple of other options. It included a generous portion of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon with a nice sauce. The breakfast potato’s are old school and on the greasy side. The coffee was average. My partner got the breakfast plate. Everything was fresh and pretty average. The best part of the meal was the comfortable and quiet venue. It’s a nice place to have a conversation away from the hustle and bustle of the concourse. It is also just a short walk to the gates.

Lovely setting but after having waited more than a half hour for a simple and rather boring Caprese Sandwich, I was in no mood for it. The waitress said there was something wrong with HER app but she never checked the kitchen until I demanded either the sandwich or a refund. AND the place was only about one-third full and had a great many serving staff as well as kitchen staff (it's a open kitchen). Not for me.

Pretty good breakfast food! We ordered the Sunday breakfast. Not the most expensive cost per plate for a nice environment to wait in. Big portions, hot food, good flavor. Love the scallion potatoes and the coffee with the free refill. The service was really fast, and the employee who served our table was friendly and polite. Will be back!

Our flight to Miami had a stop at this airport and we had 4 hours to explore it. Since me and my son are foodies, we were looking for a good place to have lunch. We looked all restaurants and we chose SUNDAY SUPPER, an Italian restaurant. Their menu was so exciting but we wanted to try their pizza. We ordered grilled mushroom pizza and IT WAS AMAZING. the taste of the cheese was like no other mozzarella I've ever tasted. The price was reasonable for that big pizza. Their seats and decoration is really comfortable and luxury. Definitely recommend 👌

First, the restaurant design and windows on the tarmac got me into this restaurant. The service was solid, however the music was rattling for an early morning (~5:30am) breakfast (we left earlier than we would have to get away from the music). The menu looked great but execution on the Eggs Benedict was not good - primarily b/c the muffins were not toasted but singed on the grill - which added a charred taste into the meal. The potatoes were too greasy to be enjoyable. Eggs poached well, hollandaise sauce decent. It’s tough to staff at that hour w/low traffic but we didn’t get what we paid for at this location.

This place is definitely worth checking out! Delta has recently taken over the all new C terminal at LGA and with it came some pretty decent restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by Sunday Supper. Ordering was a breeze and the place was very clean. Within minutes we were enjoying our meal which was 100 times better than anything we could get in the airline lounge. Yes! It's pricey for what you get. This is the airport in one of the most expensive cities in the US so that was a given. Being able to seat yourself, and not wait in line like cattle was a good thing. Thanks for a great dining experience.

Thanks to the government shutdown, my flight ended up getting delayed a total of 6.5 hours. Luckily Sunday Supper allowed me to turn one of their tables into a WeWork for the day, as long as I constantly ordered something, which turned into an expensive indulgence of Cold Brews ($6.00). I eventually ordered a Chicken Parm Sandwich ($19) as the delays got a bit more ridiculous. This came with a side of steamed veggies, which looked pretty unappealing so I didn't eat that. Sandwich was good and filling, no complaints there.

We had a long layover at LGA. A slice of pepperoni is $8 but it's the airport. I didn't grab any pictures. But, it hit the spot. There is the option to buy a pie for around $32 as well and honestly, that's probably your best bet with multiple people. The pasta dishes looked good as well,

There's nothing more disheartening than going to an airport and only having fast food options. That's why I was super happy to see that LaGuardia airport has multiple sitdown restaurants; especially Sunday Supper Trattoria in Terminal C. Granted, when at LaGuardia Airport (or any airport), you know that the prices are gonna be through the roof, but at least you're getting good, fresh food that won't leave you bloated and regretting your choices. Today I i decided to enjoy my breakfast in style by ordering the avocado toast. The egg was cooked a perfect sunny side, the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the salad was a perfect pair to the star attraction. The decor was quintessential New York City with an old school vibe as they pumped out classic tunes from the rat pack era. Everything was clean and orderly, which made me happy. And I gotta say, the waitstaff were super friendly and helpful. Overall, I'm glad I stopped in when I did. Yum!

It was pretty on par for airport food, so not so great. The calamari was too salty, the salad was drenched in dressing and the pasta had very little flavor. I gave two stars because the service was okay but for the price of the food, it just wasn't good.

It looked like a really good restaurant, beautifully decorated. Lots of seats. Open space. The food was ok. I had pasta with meatballs, sausage and spaghetti. The sauce was not very flavorful at all. The meatballs, also lacked flavor. The sausage was very good. It's a scan and pay restaurant, you tip in advance. So service was extremely slow and lacking. I rarely give just 3 stars. Sorry, but not my favorite airport food stop.

Quick service and great food. I've had my share of airport food and this spot is top notch based on expectations and delivery. Avocado Toast was stella and much better than anticipated based on crisp fresh sourdough bread and consistency of egg, cheese and arugula salad. Definitely a spot I wouldn't hesitate to stop in next time.

I have to try to balance out the bad reviews here. I sat at the bar and the service was great. I ordered a Caesar (with anchovies?!) and grabbed some pizza slices from the to-go counter while I waited. I like the pizza, it has a crispy bottom that held with one hand, and the crust was crispy in the outside, but not to slice your gums, and chewy inside. Would definitely return.

For airport food it was good. The prices were steep. Loved the ambiance, the view out to the airplane gates. The service was fine, you order through a barcode.

This is a sit down option at LGA. We had to pay before we ate. I don't like tipping before you get served. Food and service was average and it was over $100 for three people, so spends for the quality.

I would say most airport food is not worthy. This is the exact opposite. I was having a hankering for pizza, but the slices did not look great. But since I had time, I decided to sit and order a whole pie. No regrets! This pizza is as good as it gets in New York. And the amazing waitress gave me a bunch of to go boxes so I could take the rest back home. Totally worthy!

$40, for a salad, all in, should get you something particularly satisfying for a flight. This did not deliver. The service was friendly and speedy, which was appreciated. But the Sunday Dinner salad with chicken itself would have been overpriced at half the cost. It's not easy to eat healthy at an airport. But this was a disappointing attempt.

The service is god awful, 2 bars on either side and 1 bar tender. Put this place outta business and add something quality here. This place sucks.

Good place to get a quick bite in La Guardia. Food was ready very quick and was an upgrade from your typical airport restaurant.

I write this to you from 34,001 feet as I am flying 496 mph through the sky in an aluminum cylinder. Really crazy when you think about it. Earlier today at 5:19am, delirious me picked Sunday Supper over a few other options for food as the ambiance was kind of vibey and had somewhat healthy choices pre-flight. I opted to get the Sunday Breakfast which consisted of two eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, and a "sourdough toast" that turned out to be an untoasted piece of sourdough bread. After 8 minutes, the sweet lady at the front handed me my box and I started walking to my gate which I soon realized was already boarding. I sat in one of the gate chairs and started MUNCHING, as I didn't want to be that guy that brought a whole ass meal on the plane at 6am. I opened up the box and just kind of laughed that I had just spent $20.68 on this meal. My luck of good meals at the airport had to run out sooner or later, but I really thought a spot at JFK would end the streak as opposed to LaGuardia... LaGuardia is actually so nice now... The piece of "sourdough toast" took up half the box which consisted of runny eggs, 2 small pieces of overcooked turkey bacon, and some potatoes that were actually kind of gas and put the rest of the plate on its back. Airport pizza is certainly not going to be as good as what you'll get in Manhattan. If you don't have the time during your connection to leave the airport, then this will be a good second best. Organized as well as it can be while people order and wait in a cluster, numbers or shouted out by the same guy who is also preparing food for dine-in. Pizza, sandwiches, salads and a cooler with all sorts of prepared "grab and go" foods. $7 for a pepperoni slice is probably the cheapest thing you'll find in the entire terminal. Greasiest, too. Grab a few napkins to "dab" at the slice or you'll end up wearing some of it. [Review 20002 overall - 385 in New York - 977 of 2023.]

Pro-tip: Best, healthiest, tastiest breakfast in the best new airport is the poached eggs from Sunday Supper. The dish is about 60% flavorful broccoli rabe. When you spend as much time in this joint as I do, not every meal can be a calorie bomb. The service here is reliably friendly, calm, and intuitive. Camille this morning exemplified this cozy affect that brings me back. Seating is plentiful along the bar or banquette with tons of natural light. Firstest worldest complaint: No electrical outlets at the tables. Just one at the column next to the bar, where you'll typically find me.

With an almost empty restaurant we ask to sit buy the window and was denied, then I have to scan a QR code for a menu for me to order, then, they will force a tip on the bill without telling you. That's a form of theft.

Food was delicious we had a mushroom pizza truffle oil, and Rigatoni with Italian sausage and broccoli. Service was great and friendly which you don't usually find in the Airports. Price were reasonable for an airport. I would definitely recommend this place.

Service was slow and food had to be sent back twice for being cold. Wont make this mistake again.

I was torn between Sunday Supper and the bar across from it. Ultimately, I decided on Sunday Supper because it looked cuter and more spacious. We were able to grab a seat at the bar right away. You scan a QR code to order on your phone. I had a gin Collins and my boyfriend got an old fashioned. We both agree that our drinks were made well and that the bartenders were nice. Note: if you want to order a slice of pizza, you'll have to sit at the bar versus a table. My boyfriend went up to order our slices of pizza and it took over 15 minutes to get two slices of pizza. Not because the pizza wasn't ready but because they couldn't find the cheese pizza Ultimately, when we got the pizza it was mediocre at best and very greasy. Given that it's airport food, I suppose it's no different from getting one of those overpriced premade sandwiches from a Hudson News/magazine store that's like cardboard, it's just disappointing.

If you get the kids meal, it's $13 including a soda, and is the perfect portion for a traveler who doesn't want to carry around a to-go box. Delicious, too!

What a rip off! We wanted some dinner before our flight and the options were not that great in our terminal. They are located on the Delta side at LaGuardia Airport. We saw a diner that had no one and then a burger place. We figured Italian food; how bad can it be. We got seated right away and never brought any menus. No server came by either. Finally someone brought us some water and we asked for menus. She pointed to a QR code on the table. Not a big deal QR codes are the norm now. But this QR code was different. Basically, you order and pay for your meal, including the tip, and then when its ready someone brings it to you. I'm sorry, you want me to pay ahead of time and give a tip for a server I have not even seen! Ridiculous. Now this is an airport, so pricy, but the soft drinks were almost $7. We decided to stay with water but had to keep calling someone or catching someone's eye to get a refill. I ordered a Ceasar salad and fettucine alfredo. TERRIBLE! The salad was ok but needed more dressing, it was pretty dry. I couldn't find anyone to even ask. The pasta was terrible, it was watery, no flavor, no taste, it was really bad. Our friend ordered just a tomato sauce pasta and it was so spicy she couldn't eat it. The only taste was spice. The description did not mention spice, we checked. My husband ordered a veggie pasta with chicken and olive oil. He said it was ok, but I could tell it had no taste or flavor by his face. Our meal for my husband and I was $80. I really do not like this system. I actually didn't even give a big tip because we never saw anyone, and no one came over to explain plus you have to tip in advance. I thought what if I tip really good and the service sucks or I never see anyone, why should they get a huge tip. I'm glad I didn't because that is exactly what happened. No one came by, I would have exchanged my meal. They need to change their process and quick! This is a terrible system, horrible service and even worse food. It absolutely infuriates me to pay 80 dollars for food we did not enjoy, could not find a server to exchange and couldn't even get a refund. I should have looked at reviews before we stopped in. Skip it, go somewhere else.

This place was disgusting, I just ordered an Egg's Benedict and could not even stomach one bite. Hopefully they give me my refund as promised. Went to Starbucks after and got a fairly yummy egg, cheese, sausage sandwich, consistent.

Just had the most amazing breakfast in LGA. Avocado Toast was beyond excellent. It was fresh and tasty, seasoned just right, including the light, refreshing side salad. I was blown away. So great. My waitress was polite and professional and did a great job to top off the delightful experience. Loved this place. I will definitely stop by again when I get back to LGA.

I had happy to have a layover in my old city- which turned into an awful experience. The restaurant and bar are gorgeous, which immediately caught our eye. However, it took way too long for a sandwich and salad to come out. The restaurant was less than 50% full. We sat down for at the bar for 15 minutes and our waitress never asked if we wanted water, finally a waiter came over to ask. The caesar salad took over 40 minutes to come out. Over 40 minutes...for lettuce! The restaurant said they didn't have any more silverware, so we had to eat salad with flimsy plastic forks which was a nightmare. The salad also had no dressing on it so we had to ask for some. A total waste of time and money. There were several employees and everyone was nice however, it felt nothing was actually being done. I saw people running several pizzas out but for our experience, a total waste of our time and money.

This place is awesome, friendly and courteous, full beer and wine bar. Also they have a great sitting areas great family atmosphere and you can watch the people walk by an airplanes fly. The view is perfect and all the desserts are excellent also....

I do appreciate the QR table service I know some people don't like and the one fault is tipping before the service is even provided. Even though our service was rather quick that part can defintely seem annoying. We had table service and one bummer is not being able to order just a slice of pizza you can only order entire pies. I ordered the vodka sauce which was just a pink sauce. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich which he said was alright. Obviously it's extremely overpriced because it's airport food probably would be better off grabbing a drink at their bar as their drinks were good.

I don't know what the problem is here at LaGuardia airport, but they completely lack any service, trying to get someone's attention, or to try to modify one of their orders is absolutely impossible. I just tried to order $100 worth of breakfast. They don't want my money. They are rude and ignore you Overpriced garbage for waffle House quality

I had a very pleasant experience at this venue. I had a delicious pasta dish....it was a pasta alla vodka which I NEVER usually order....but, I was hungry and wanted something hearty. It was delicious. I also had a lemon martini which was made to perfection. The waitstaff couldn't have been nicer.

This place only gets a second star because the servers are very polite and thorough. The food is ok. The meatball sandwich was tasty, but a bit dry and smallish for the price. (Yes, even by airport standards.) And apparently drinks cannot be refilled. You have to order another entirely new drink. At $5 a pop. Yeah... tea. $5. A regular-sized glass. Not like some big glass or anything. And mostly ice, at that. The server gave me a refill, anyway, probably due to the confused look on my face when she told me. I hope she doesn't get in trouble. There are no paper menus, just QR reader. And you are asked to tip before service. Bad form. This is another airport place ran by OTG, which doesn't have a great experience at any of their offerings.

Lots of empty seats... telling should have paid attention. Sat quickly and water glasses filled. Encouraged to use a QR code for menu and ordering. Not a fan of this just makes the wait staff pointless in my opinion. We were brought one menu when pressed for it and the waitress did take our order once requested. Our party of seven needed two checks and this took entirely two much explaining when ordering drinks. Finally we ordered drinks and provided a card and phone number to "open a tab". Drinks came and were middle of road. Old fashion was fine, espresso martini watered down and lacked the foam, chill and expected flavor. The food was two thumbs down. No flavor or seasoning. The spaghetti and meatballs were disgraceful. I've had more flavor from meatballs that came from a big box super store in the frozen section. The chicken parm was dry as the desert. No refills on non-alcoholic drinks or water and the waitress disappeared after the food came. There was also this constant change in lighting that was aggravating to say the least. Overall lack of management, lack of training and lack of attention/tasting in the kitchen. Go to national burger joint across the hall at least they are consistent and cheap. But hey give them a try if you have the time a dough, maybe they will outshine todays subpar performance.

The food was awful. I had the Smashed Meatball sandwich which was just BLAH! It was a smushed burger patty without any type of flavor and very minimal sauce. It came with fries and I told one of the servers that mine were cold, and she was kind and said, "I'll bring you back some fresh fries" to only come back less than a minute later to say, "These just came out 4 minutes ago." Like what? I had a glass of unmemorable red wine. $36 later, I'm still hungry. Don't waste your time and/or money. Only saving grace is the view.

Sat at the bar and ordered my meal from the bartender. I was then instructed to "fill in the information" on an iPad (name, cc info, etc) which I did. Closed the tab/tip. Wrong order shows up and rather than fix it and bring me the right meal, I had to spend the next 15 minutes with three different employees for a refund. The staff was inept and the OTG system is an inconvenient POS. How's the food? Who knows... I didn't have time left to find out after dealing with these clowns.

If you can avoid it, don't eat here. And it is not the fault of their workers, they are clearly working hard. The menu and the food itself, is terrible. Don't be like me, just go to freshii and get something decent. Again, the workers here are nice, its not their fault they are being forced to make terrible food. My recommendation would be change this menu. Everything is heavy, and made poorly. I was desperate and thats why I ate here and I took one bite of my sandwich, the safest thing on the menu, and didn't lift it back up. $30 down the drain.

Stopped by Sunday Supper to satisfy my pasta for lunch cravings. I ordered the linguine with clam sauce which I enjoyed but I did feel like it could been more Al dente and had a better garlicky or clam flavor. Overall, I like the look of the dish since the clams were a nice size and it was garnished well. Taste wise, I would opt to try something else next time. It is a QR code ordering system like many other restaurants in airports nowadays, but it is not efficient if some people don't have smart phones. However, I did see staff assist an elderly women with ordering on her phone. Vibes are there with the nice bar setup, pretty dishes and good view. I also liked the open view of the cooks in the kitchen cheffing it up.

I mean - I take partial responsibility . We know airport food is over priced and can be middle of the road. I loved that I had a couple of hours before my flight. I wanted a glass of champagne and a space to sit with my journal and write. Seems easy enough. So this place is QR code heavy. Meaning you pay for your food and tip before you receive your food or any service to tip for. The glass of champagne was $35. So I settled for tap water and ordered a sandwich. I wanted fries on the side and was told they only come with the kids meal not as a side. Their pizza looked amazing. But there is no slice option unless you are grabbing and going. The price was $17 for what could easily be two meals. Bread was fresh. It was fine. Would I go back? Not sure. Did I wish I had looked around a little more and chose a different place? Yes. I don't regret it. But I wouldn't recommend them - if that makes any sense. They had a good mix of solo diners and groups of 5-6 people. The group service seemed lovely and attentive. The win here is that LaGuardia has lots of food options both pre and post security. It was fine.

Food was good but the main reason for the low review is the enforcement of Digital ordering; to order food, you are forced to scan a QR code. As someone who works in IT, I have no issue with this however there are many customers who have issues with this method of ordering. In fact, while dining, an older gentleman was turned away by the wait staff as he had no phone at the time to scan said QR code. Instead of wait staff assisting, they just turned him away. It's one thing to offer digital ordering, but to enforce this policy is not something you would expect. Wait staff while kind are just "door dash" drivers basically at your table. Bring back the social aspect of dining and do not make QR code ordering mandatory!

Sunday Supper has a great aesthetic and a full bar! You order and pay on your phone. The pasta and dessert are fantastic!

Had a layover in LGA and stopped by this well decorated dining spot. The food was good for airport food. The toast was to hard to eat but the bacon and eggs were good. The service was professional and courteous. I just can't understand why airport food so expensive. Things that make you go "ummmm"!

The worst food I have ever had in my life. Full of grease, under cooked and inedible. I commented to the staff and was told "what do you expect"... Nice. Do your digestive system a favor and stay the heck away. Especially if you have a flight you're waiting on. $20 in the garbage and was refused a refund.

Eat here. This restaurant stands up to the best of them outside the airport. What a nice shock. And get a table with Tanesha who is sunny, buoyant, and alive with recommendations. But it's hard to imagine anything bad in the menu. We had the poached egg on broccoli rabe and potatoes. Muy deliciouso!

Pizza was good, and the take away window service was fast and friendly. A little greasy, but it's pizza, so that's expected.

It is worst pizza had in my life. It was burnt. I asked for two margaritas they give me one plain and stated we don't have a margaritas anymore. They don't clarify anything at the order time. Price was $7 a slice. Assuming they are paying employees $25 an hour.

Overtly racist staff and waitresses and an unpleasant experience. Every time I eat here I am constantly overlooked by the waitresses, who are typically Latina women. Today I came in to be served and no one came to offer any help let alone any water. Two white men walked in after me and they were immediately assisted. About 16 minutes passed and still the waitress passed by my table but never greeted me or asked me what I needed. She continued walking by me to serve the white man who came in after me but assisted me with nothing. This has been a horrible experience and I would never return back to this place again. I will advise my friends and family to do the same.

Got a slice of pepperoni pizza, cheesecake, and a bottled water for like 30 bucks...and was promptly told I couldn't sit in the seating area unless I ordered a drink...excuse me???

Had a 3 hour layover here at LGA, and the bar top view of the chefs cooking caught my attention. All restaurants here have a QR code to scan for a menu/food delivered to your table spot. Great idea for the traveler, but I saw my waitress once and had to pay/tip before receiving my food/any service. I ordered the Mortadom and it was great, but could use a little work. The Italian roll had the perfect crunch:soft ratio. The burrata was fresh and made the sandwich. I do wish there was more Calabrian chili. The bites I did have with it were perfect, despite there being so little. Also, my chicken cutlet wasn't warm at all. Not sure if they let it sit or it was supposed to be served cold, but I would've loved it hot. I give it 3.5 stars because it was good, but could be better. Either way, hit the spot. Would recommend to family and friends.

The worst food ever. Ordered chicken parmigiana sandwich and appetizer calamari. Food was tough like shoe leather. Don't waste your time & money. Very expensive for garbage. My husband ordered chicken parmigiana dinner same horrible chicken RIPOFF. One star is even too much.
