One of my go-to brunch spots for over 15 years! Had the eggs Benedict with crispy bacon (instead of Canadian) and requested crispy roasted potatoes — they were perfect. The lemon ricotta pancake was great too. In the end, we had a chocolate chip cookie to go from the pastry area in the front, and a slice of lemon cake from the pastry case, and I can’t wait to come again. Next time I’ll skip the bacon — it was super salty and gave me a headache. They’ve switched to a new system: check in, order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. Smooth and efficient. My cousin had the corned beef hash (which already includes potatoes) plus a side of potatoes — something to note. Still one of my favorite spots! I would have to be honest, and rate this place 1 star higher than Crumbs at PH. Cheers!!

I’ve tried this restaurant three times so far. The first two times were great, but my most recent visit wasn’t good at all. I’d give 3 stars for my latest experience, but 5 stars for the first two. Overall, I’ll give it 4 stars, and I’m willing to give it another shot!

I like visiting Sunrise Bistro for breakfast. The convenient parking, manageable wait times, and good service make it a hassle-free spot for breakfast or brunch. I’ve tried a few dishes, like the carnitas and eggs and corned beef hash, but my favorite by far is the smoked brisket hash, which has become my go-to order. Overall, it’s a nice place for breakfast or brunch. You should definitely consider them when looking for breakfast in the area.

Excellent place for brunch.. very friendly and welcoming people , the food is cooked perfectly with less oil , fresh snd tastes amazing .. tried the biscuit sandwich, omlette and chicken salad sandwich…..

Sunrise Bistro and Catering is my NEW favorite spot for brunch in Walnut Creek! It’s so delicious and comforting. A place to bring the whole family, friends, and coworkers! You can bring me too! OMG! The Lemon ricotta pancakes were my favorite! It’s so fluffy and delicious! The breakfast burrito was loaded with everything you want for breakfast! The Corned Beef and Smoked Brisket are a must-try, it was super tasty! If you know me by now, you know how much I love a good salad! The Thai chicken salad and Caesars Goddess Salad were so yummy! And don’t forget their yummy house-made pastries!! We got their morning bun and zucchini bread, it was so moist. Ps. Sunrise bistro also have an express location for take-out in Concord, just a few minutes ago.

It's taken me awhile to come here because it's always so busy! I can see why. The food and service is really good, and they only have so many tables. I got the Richards special, Sunny side eggs, bacon and Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Also grabbed an iced mocha. Everything was great, with the stand out being the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Meal and coffee with tip came to about $33.

Everything I've ordered here (dine-in and takeout) salads, breakfasts plates, sandwiches etc have been cooked to perfection, super fresh and tasty ingredients, and abundant portions to enjoy the yumminess again for lunch or dinner. Elevated and palate pleasing menu offerings, like the lemon ricotta pancakes and the tahini lentil salad with added grilled chicken! Some of the dishes come with many different sides (like oatmeal, toppings, bread, fruit) making it a complete family meal. Highly recommend!

Classic Americana diner fare and it does it very well. Very friendly staff and the quality of breakfast items are some of the best in Walnut Creek! I especially recommend the Corned Beef Hash they serve with over-easy eggs and toast, it's really solid! 👌

We recently engaged Sunrise Catering to cater an event on relatively short notice. They were easy to work with, provided excellent advice for how much food to order, and also gave good suggestions for the mix of different items for the afternoon event. They arrived on time and adjusted to the changes at the venue with no problem. We enjoyed the different mini sandwiches and deviled eggs, and the cut fruit was fresh and nicely presented. The biscotti were also excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

The food is great however it didn't motivate me to write a review. I am busy, and Sunrise Catering takes away so many worries when I need food for a group. The menus are well organized and they have a great variety to choose from. I can count on them to respond quickly. Every time it is an overall wonderful experience.

Sunrise Catering was great top to bottom. Ordering was straightforward, efficient. The choice of items was just right. The food came perfectly on time. It was hot, easy to display and self-serve. I will use this catering business again.

I used Sunrise for my daughter's 3rd birthday recently and everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the food was...I couldn't agree more. Aside from the fresh sandwiches, the macaroni, meatballs, and banana pudding were also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Sunrise to cater any party of all ages. Linda was so quick to respond to my requests, we even got to tailor some of the menu for the younger kids palate. Also loved how they offered a coffee station, which acted as a refueling station for the parents. From the ordering process, to the delivery, and actual food.. I'd give this place a 10/10!!!

5 stars for helping me throw a great event and not having to worry about feeding my guests! Recently placed a big order (for roughly 50 people for a housewarming party) with no prior history tasting their food or even hearing about them from anyone other than the internet...and the food was GREAT. We picked up the platters, which were all displayed beautifully, and our guests loved it. Would absolutely use them again!

Ok where to begin this place is super super awesome. Maria walked into to our house like she was family. She is the best I mean best host ever she toke care of every little detail very attentive very helpful in every way and super organize she sit up beautiful she was there to help people with everything. If you ever need a caterer please if you are lucky enough ask for Maria and hope she is available. And sunrise was easy to work with Jen in the office she makes things very smooth from beginning to end so if you guys need a caterer look no further this is it sunrise cater and I forgot another plus with Maria she loves dogs so good with our crazy lovable dog and I been here talking about how good Maria was I forgot about the food the sandwiches were excellent bread was really fresh all the sandwiches were great there was vegan ones and bacon and turkey everything was great and fresh the fruit salad was great the green salad was fresh lots of salad dressing there was quinoa salad and they had some good rolled sandwiches vegan and meat ones pasta salad all was excellent presentation

Sunrise Bistro provided an amazing brunch for my daughter's baby shower today. We have dined at Sunrise Bistro many times over the years and decided to have the food brought in for the baby shower. It was fantastic! We had plenty of food, and it was fantastic. Thank you for being part of our special celebration. We will definitely use Sunrise again for our events.

We hired Sunrise Catering for a baby shower this past weekend, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Seriously, so good. Everyone raved about the food. We ordered (mini croissant sandwiches, Cesar goddess salad, Mac n Cheese, a cheese platter, fruit platter, 2 quiches, and deviled eggs. The gentleman who delivered our order was so friendly, the process to order was easy and efficient. I will definitely be ordering here again.

We have worked with Sunrise Bistro & Catering in the past and we absolutely love working with them. The food quality is always the best - for the two events we have had catered through them (brunch and lunch events) was absolutely delicious. Their team is great to work with, they are always so accommodating and work with you to make sure everything is perfect. For both event, the food has been delivered to the venue and both times it was delivered on time, set-up by a staff member, and ready to go. It has always been a seamless transaction with this team. From start to finish the experience at Sunrise Bistro & Catering was beyond perfect. I would gladly recommend and work with this team again in the future!

Heard this place may close down soon... I get it now. The food is not refrigerated. cakes are far too rich, laden in frosting. servers are lifers with truck stop mentality. Good concept, ruined by a poor staff who doesn't know much about food or etiquette,

We chose Sunrise for our event. 160 box lunches. Attendees raved about the quality and freshness. Fresh baked goods were fantastic. Catering team super friendly and really cared about our event. I would recommend Sunrise for all events. They will never disappoint!

Usually busy but totally worth the wait - Great friendly customer service and delicious food. Their signature breakfast, Smoked Brisket Hash is delightful!

Never disappointed with my meal here. Delicious fresh and healthy. Service has always been great. The owner also does a lot of good in our community.

I have yet to eat at this restaurant but have enjoyed their catering on two different occasions. Fist off we need to talk about their monkey bread!!! The bread is crispy carmalized on the outside and the perfect dough on the inside. I mean I have made this many times at home before but have made nothing nowhere near as well as this place! Secondly is their watermelon feta bites. They are super cute squared piece of watermelon topped with herbed feta cheese and mint. Delicious! Third they have an amazing spinach artichoke bread! creamy cheesey goodness spread all over toasties. I have had a bunch of other delicious treats from here as well. A must try for anyone!

Sunrise catered a 25-person brunch we hosted the day after our son's wedding and everything was excellent. Ordering, pricing, and delivery were all easy and the breakfast dishes delicious. We were from out-of-town with no prior knowledge of the Walnut Creek-Concord area and so very grateful how Sunrise worked out so well for us. Highly appreciated and recommended.

All I have to say is the food was bland. I don't know why they can't salt their food correctly? The latkes were terrible, cold, and it just looked like a hash brown patty. The store bought latkes from Trader Joe's taste far superior!! Very disappointed!! My husband ordered an omelette that came out lukewarm with the cheese half melted. No offer of Jam or Jelly to go with his bread and no flavor on the side of potatoes that were supposed to have been pan fried in garlic. Update: So I found out that this establishment purposely doesn't salt their food because apparently they cater to a lot of elderly customers. If you would like your food to taste like something or to simply have salt in your food please request and remind the waiter to tell the Chef to add Salt/ seasoning to your food. I find it absurd that I must ask for my food to be seasoned as I always thought that seasoning food was the norm for a restaurant. They should put a sign saying that they don't add seasoning, because not everyone wants to eat eggs by adding salt on top of it or cold fake latkes with salt on top. One can assume that their food is below par simply from the fact that their latkes can be beaten by trader joes.

My son and I gave a surprise birthday brunch for my wife today. They were right on time, beautifully packed, and the food was amazing. I would recommend them without hesitation. Theye made a special day even better!

I've used Thees guys for numerous catering events at the Capital One Café but this is the first time I have dined in house. As I expected EVERYTHING was delicious! EVERYONE was so nice and I am so glad to know that I'm helping support our local restaurant not t mention Joe, Tye and Jen ARE AMAZING people!!! Sunrise catered my daughters graduation party on 6/2/18.. From the first thoughts of using Sunrise to delivery on 6/2/18, the process was flawless Jennifer, the catering manager, was friendly and professional while figured out which package would work best for our party, including changing my total a couple days before. She surely is a valuable asset to the catering dept . Our delivery was precise and on time, the young lady was very friendly. Not to mention, the food was DELISH ( and healthy) THANK YOU so much Sunrise Catering for taking a lot of the stress of throwing the perfect party away Nancy Camozzi

We were delighted by the food and service provided by Sunrise for our recent anniversary party. They were friendly and efficient as I explored menu options and adjusted the size of our party from 50 to 70. The food arrived right on time and just as expected. They worked with me to identify vegan and GF options and provided label cards so I could keep guests informed. Many guests remarked on the quality and tastiness of the food, and we continue to enjoy ample leftovers after the event. If you're looking for excellent quality food with no drama, I recommend Sunrise highly!

Perfect. Delivery was right on time, actually we had to call them to delay it a bit as we were running late from our memorial event and they were very accommodating. Only thing I'd say that I learned, is to order less. Ordering for 30 gave us 30 of everything, 3 different kinds of sandwiches (meaning 90 sandwiches!), etc and we had way too much left over. But it was all perfect and everyone was very happy.

We hired sunrise to cater for a family event. They were helpful in picking out the right food combination and the food showed up on time. We have also eaten there and really liked the food.

They just catered my daughter's first birthday party. I didn't want to spend $$$ but didn't want to bother cooking either. I remembered that they catered my friends wedding and it was good. I called and spoke to Erin Grimm in the catering department. She was very helpful and friendly. Our food arrived on time and it was delish. We had chicken, prime rib, pasta salad, Caesar salad, fruir, cheese, and bread. Everyone raved. I'll definitely use them again.

I always have my fingers figuratively crossed that Sunrise is catering the occasional lunch meeting or training at work. If they are the caterers then I know I am going to be fed well. It is probably not surprising that Sunrise is also one of my go-to caterers if I am the one coordinating a meeting or training. Their All Star Salad Bar is always an attendee favorite, with options to meet all sorts of dietary needs/restrictions. The salad bar includes a Thai chicken salad, spinach salad, caesar salad with bay shrimp, pasta salad with veggies, fresh fruit and cheese platter, and rolls and butter. They have tons of other options, all reasonably priced. It is nice that they have so many healthy dishes and they always arrive at or slightly before the scheduled delivery time.

I've ordered Sunrise for catering for office meetings in the past, and all my clients love their quiche and their pastries. So I thought I'd finally try their breakfast in their restaurant. I recently switched to a paleo diet, so I was worried there wouldn't be much for me to eat since I don't eat grains, flour or dairy now. Fortunately they offer a corned beef hash with sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. Man it was good, nice flavor and generous portions. They also subbed out my toast for bacon, tasty bacon. Not sure if they charged me more, but if they did it wasn't more than a buck or two. My brother got the carnitas and eggs omelette and devoured it. I'd recommend this place for a downtown WC breakfast spot. Service was very friendly and prompt given how busy they were. Fair prices for tasty fresh food combos.

We love Sunrise for catering, they're our go-to! I work in an office of about 15 people in Walnut Creek, and it's safe to say we all have extremely divergent taste when it comes to lunch. But Sunrise always has something for everyone, and what's even better (especially for me, as someone who is health conscious and has food sensitivities) is that all the food is clean, healthy, often organic/local, and for the most party pretty anti-inflammatory. But even people who prefer less healthy food LOVE it when we have Sunrise lunch days. We really love the roasted chicken with tomatoes and the tri tip steak, the seasonal roasted veggies, the potato salad (this coming from someone who typically finds potato salad gross), and the taco bar is phenomenal. I'm surely forgetting some things. If someone asked me where to get catering in Walnut Creek or the greater Walnut Creek area, I would say Sunrise Catering, hands down.

I was recently involved in the planning of a family event and we are so happy that we chose Sunrise Bistro Catering. Planning was easy, the menu had lots to choose from. Our server was wonderful in all aspects, food prep and set up, serving as well as clean up. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them whole heartedly. By the way, the food was great, looked beautiful and there was lots of it!!

I used Sunrise to cater my sister's baby shower, and the food was absolutely amazing! My guests raved about all of the dishes. We chose to pick up our order, and I was so impressed with the way everything was carefully packaged. Also, every detail was accounted for; pats of butter for our fresh rolls, serving utensils etc. I am super impressed and will be recommending you to anyone who needs catering services!

I utilized their catering service for a company breakfast today and the food was a huge hit. The French toast and pancakes were completely gone. Dealing with the catering staff was simple and I even made a change the day before the event and they were able to accommodate. I asked for the food to be delivered by 9:30 a.m. and it was here at 9:25 a.m. I will definitely use their services in the future. ***Hint- Order for 10 more people than what's expected because the food is so delicious that everyone will grab more than what they can actually eat. If you order the French toast, request to have cut in half so can serve more people.

Five stars for Sunrise Bistro Catering's amazing customer service. They helped us determine a selection of food that would cover our guests preferences and dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, we had to cancel my son's 1st birthday party due to the poor air quality. Sunrise Bistro understood our predicament and helped us cancel our catering order. We appreciate the effort and service given to us, and will recommend and work with Sunrise Bistro again in the future. Thanks for helping us make a bad situation better!

Just used Sunrise Catering for a party of 75 and couldn't be happier. Jennifer was wonderful and spent lots of time with me deciding on menu choices and allowed me to change from a sit down dinner to appetizers three days before the event. Travis and Eddie were very professional and arrived right on time. The presentation was beautiful and food got rave reviews. The servers cleaned up everything and were not at all disruptive since the party was still in full swing. I will definitely use them in the future.

I have yet to set foot within Sunrise Bistro, but I've lost count on the number of times I've been to a meeting or event that was catered by them. The food has been very good, nicely presented, featuring interesting variety and healthy choices, and at very reasonable prices. The Owner is also very active in healthy eating and wellness issues, although one particular appearance by "Farmer Tom" didn't meet this native Iowa's sense of rural reality.

I've used Sunrise Bistro and Catering to cater various events and meetings. Ordering with them is easy and they have a large menu that is clearly priced. They provide a catering proposal that details every item and cost. Additionally, they send the paid invoice once the catering is complete. The food is professionally presented and is appetizing to the eyes and stomach. They have passed the taste test for some very selective eaters, which says a lot! In addition to their great food, I continue to return to them for their professionalism, price clarity and that they are an ease to work with.

We used Sunrise Catering for our Dad's funeral reception and although it was a sad occasion, they made it much better for us. The whole process was easy and seamless, which was exactly what was needed during a stressful time. The food choices were plentiful and the price was very reasonable. They delivered and set everything up without a hitch and all the food was delicious. We had plenty of leftovers (since you can never tell how many will attend a funeral), so many of our guests enjoyed taking some home. Most importantly, the customer service made all the difference. As I mentioned, it was a stressful and sad time for us, but Jennifer Pita helped make me feel comfortable and she seemed to truly care. She showed compassion and took as much time as I needed. It was obvious she has worked with the funeral home and knew exactly what to do. It was such a relief not to have to worry about this part of the planning. Jennifer gave me that confidence, especially with her immediate follow up, so I was able to concentrate on all the other parts of the services knowing the catering was all taken care of. I would definitely recommend Sunrise catering for any occasion!

Ordered the sandwich and salad catering trays for a 15-person lunch meeting and it couldn't have been simpler. I emailed and heard back in less than two hours with an order confirmation. Food arrived promptly on time, there were WAY bigger portions than I was anticipating and everyone really loved the food. The sandwiches were perfect (what bread do you guys use? It's fantastic!), and the salads and wraps were a huge hit. We will definitely be using these guys again for future meetings - thanks so much!

I recently worked with Jennifer at Sunrise Bistro for catering our wedding. She made the catering process very seamless. We had so many compliments from our guests and we all thought the food was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating! If you have the opportunity to work with these folks, don't pass it up! They are pros.

Outstanding! Sunrise Bistro & Catering was amazing. Everything was delicious. Yesterday they catered my fathers celebration of life. All the guests were raving about the food. I counted on more than attended. Leftovers were boxed for the guests to take home. The server in charge did an outstanding job. Highly recommend, Fair and reasonable pricing. Wish there were more stars. Cannot comment on the restaurant I live in Morgan Hill.

My family just used Sunrise Bistro to cater a memorial service for our mother. They brought in selection of absolutely delicious, fresh sandwiches that our guests devoured. Their professionalism, fresh ingredients, and attention to detail made ordering from them seamless. We will use them again in the future.

Catering. We used them for catering a large-ish event under 100 people. They were very easy and professional to deal with, had the right type of menu off the shelf with reasonable pricing. They included good beer/wine and the right permitting. The set up, serving, tear down and clean up went very smoothly - and on time! I do not know about the restaurant but recommend considering them for catering.

This review is for Sunrise Bistro's CATERING services. Bottom line: outstanding! We just had an open house for my company celebrating our move to a new office space. It was a total success, and I must say it was because of everything they did. Working with their catering manager Angie to plan for the event was great. She was very responsive to all my requests, and very helpful with guiding me on things like how to determine the number of people to plan for based on the lack of RSVPs I received, as well as determining what type of bar service would work best for our needs and budget. We needed to rent some items as well (high top tables, linens, coat rack) which they were able to arrange for us which was a big help. On the day of the event, their bartender Kimberly and servers Sue and Eddie arrived on time and had everything set up and ready to go before the party started. They were all so friendly and professional with our guests. Afterwards, they brought their own containers and packed up all the extra food for us to keep which was a nice touch. And they left our facility completely cleaned - there was no evidence of us having a party at all. The food was fantastic! Two words: teriyaki meatballs! They offered a package called "hors d'oeuvres party menu - no kitchen required" which was perfect for what we needed. It was great to have a combination stationary buffet as well as passed hors d'oeuvres. Finally, their pricing was much more reasonable than many of the other caterers I researched. Highly recommend Sunrise Bistro for anyone's catering needs!

Jennifer and her staff did a flawless professional job catering our memorial service for 250 people on 6/9/18. Every aspect from the menu planning, arrival time, and clean up was spot on professional and timely. The staff is so nice and accommodating. Moreover, the food is delicious and fresh, as I would expect from having eaten at the Bistro dozens of times. Highly recommended and well deserving of five stars.

We used Sunrise Bistro & Catering for a recent Open House. Angie Lindorf was our contact and she presented us with an excellent selection of items to serve our 30 guests. We also used a "server" for the event, part of the Sunrise Team. Travis came on time and set-up the buffet with skill, presenting the food in a very appealing way. He moved skillfully amongst the guests clearing and refilling as necessary. He cleaned up and left us with a wonderful selection of foods. We had rave reviews about the quality, selection and quantity from our guests and for the host and hostess it was "pure pleasure" to have been so well taken care of by professional team of Sunrise Bistro and Catering. Sunrise Catering is great! I hired them for my 9.19.09 wedding and was more than pleased with their promptness, service, and the food. Everything was just as expected and beyond, we got loads of compliments from our guests on how good the food was, and considering how reasonably priced Sunrise is compared to other caterers out there that really speaks worlds. They provided a delicious buffet of bbq brisket, grilled chicken, roasted veggies, pasta salad, potato salad, and mixed green salad for half the price of all the other caterers I had looked into. They definitely exceeded our expectations and I'd recommend them a thousand times to anyone looking for a caterer for any event. Thanks a bunch Sunrise!!!! I wanted to share yet another great experience with Sunrise Catering and Angie Lindorf who worked with us on every event they have catered for us. I used to work professionally with Sunrise on dozens if not hundreds of events and over the last ten years have used them for several personal events in our home. The most recent was a Wedding Farewell Brunch in our home the day after our wedding. The food and service as always was top-notch. Clearly homemade items that are fresh, tasty and generous in serving size - you never run out of food!
