The pancake is superb! I ordered crispy bacon but it didn’t arrive crispy. It’s okay that they didn’t make it right. I’m happy with the pancake so I still give it 5 stars!

Very friendly staff. I got the Eggs Benedict with crab cakes. The hollandaise sauce was nice and lemony and peppery. The crab cakes tasted homemade, very fresh and well seasoned. Our waiter was attentive and kind. We sat outside under the gazebo area and enjoyed the fresh air. There's a slight discount if you pay with cash versus a credit card and it's clearly labeled for every item on the menu.

Sunrise Cafe don’t play about their food! Big portions and tasty food. We ordered the Chilaquiles and Buenos Dias - both very tasty and filling.

If you're looking for a "local and quaint" atmosphere with ho.e cooked foods, then this is your place. No frills, just good foods and good service.

Found this place off of a Google review and thought I would Also rate it. It’s located in a small strip mall near downtown. The restaurant is small but very clean and inviting. The young gentleman who was our waiter was incredibly friendly. The food was very tasty, and the portions were very generous. I recommend.

Heard about this place on Nextdoor. Quite a find. Stopped by today and had their Carnitas Enchiladas with Mozzarella and Verde Sauce with hash brown and eggs. I really enjoyed my meal. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on their menu. The young man that waited on me was friendly and knowledgeable. Great Job. The one thing to remember is Make Sure You Check the Daily Specials....

We came for the 1st time, it was a wait no problem we added our names to the list, the guy who had us sign in assumed we wanted to be Sat outside, he didn't ask our preference, we never sit outside, we usually get asked at restaurants, we didn't know to state. We watched people who came after us get sat in side, when I asked the guy said, oh, I have a table for you outside, I said, we don't want to be sat outside, if you had asked we would of said our preference, heard, we'll, it's going to be an even longer wait cause I'm sitting other's at the available inside tables. We left. That was that. We can go support a different family owned business, so we did. I'll put a review up about the next family owned business, I hope they do better.

***** Local. Fresh. Authentic. Great Food and Service. A terrific Paso Robles breakfast spot. We enjoyed everything about Sunrise, including the outdoor dining option. Asked for a non-seasoned home fries option, and our server (Angel) said "no problem - we"ll make some special for you." My wife and I miss Mexico and New Mexico cuisine, and this meal was an unexpected find in PR. A worthwhile breakfast destination if you're in PR - suggestion you skip that "free" hotel breakfast option (what manufactured ingredients are really in the free hotel breakfast cake eggs and fake waffles anyway?) and come to Sunrise. It's worth the short trip, and it'll be a highlight of your morning for sure. .

This little cafe,is warm and inviting. The food is amazing I had the Denver Omelet the portions were great and the food was amazing. If you are looking for breakfast in paso I strongly suggest this little gem .

Be welcomed and served by sweet happy people. They're glad you're here! We decided to have breakfast on the lovely patio. Hubby, in his Harley Tshirt, enjoyed his front row seat to the Harley show! We split the Chorizo Burrito with extra crispy home fries. The home fries usually come inside the burrito, but as requested, served on the side. The home fries were fried to a perfect crisp with a kick of sweet onions and red bell pepper to finish. Perfection! The Chorizo Burrito has great chorizo, eggs, loads of cheese in a fresh burrito tortilla. Both the mild and spicy hot sauce were fresh awesomeness and they generously gave us alot more! The spicy was perfect for me! Before we get back on the road... Last but not least, a sparkling clean well appointed and beautifully decorated lady's room. It's a one body potty for all and quite lovely! Thank you sweet people for hosting a delightful breakfast experience. Hope to see you next time!

They serve the best breakfast. The Chile Verde sauce is amazing! The home fries are seasoned to perfection This is a family owned business. They are awesome people. The service is wonderful. I highly recommend eating here. They are closed on Tuesdays now. Only breakfast and lunch.

We had a party of eight for breakfast and Sunrise Cafe quickly accommodated us. This is a nice small cafe with some very authentic food. I love Chilaquiles and most places just don't get it right. Our server said it one of the most popular dishes. Sunrise cafe nailed it. I had the Pork chile verde Chilaquiles and it was very good. They have a good selection of breakfast on the menu. Parking is limited in the lot, but there is some parking on the street as well. This is a good pick for breakfast. Nothing fancy, just good food and service.

Excellent breakfast and huge portions. I ordered the veggie omelette and it was filling and delicious! Our waiter was a very nice and knowledgeable young man and was very accommodating with all of my special requests. The cafe is rather small and quaint. Parking is tricky, but all in all, I would rerun in a heartbeat when in town.

This morning, my wife and I and our little dog Bentley went for breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe. Our hostess was a charming young lady named Jazz. We were so grateful that she allowed our little dog to eat indoors. Our breakfast was hot and delicious as usual. This is our go to spot prior to coming home to Bakersfield. I highly recommend this café, Great service and friendly staff!

The place is adorable! Small, staff super efficient and attentive, and really clean. They have a great selection of food and exceptional daily specials. They source really fresh ingredients, cooked well and portion size is perfect. In a world of mediocrity, Sunrise cafe has chosen to be excellent! Well done and thank you!

Family run local diner with Mexican inspired breakfast options in addition to the classics. My veggie omelette came with zucchini, tomato and onion, I asked to hold mushrooms and bell peppers and they got the order right. Crispy potatoes and good coffee, no espresso. Arrived Sat at 10:30 and got seated without wait. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Dog friendly patio.

Eggs, sandwiches, burgers, salads -- on my! Sunrise Cafe is a cute little Mexi-Cali eatery in a small strip-mall. Prices are a little high for some items, but a good quality product serving up breakfast and lunch items. Sausage Ortega Sandwich: Sausage patties, Ortega chilies, pepper jack cheese, chipotle aioli on grilled sour dough bread and two scrambled eggs. Breakfast was served hot and fast. This is a nice clean looking diner. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. There is plenty of parking. I will be back because this is the type of place that probably serves up a righteous burger

So glad we stopped in. Angel was incredible. The restaurant was packed and he was on top of it. His food recommendations were great. We highly recommend the enchiladas, birria bowl, and crepe. The kitchen was quick and prompt. Everything came out hot and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Everything was delicious. The eggs so delicious, flavors and options are special, French toast, hash browns are fresh and fluffy and perfectly cooked. Didn't have a chance to snap a photo, but highly recommend. Family friendly, family vibe. Service is fantastic. This food is cooked with love. The music is great too.

Just driving through and needed a good breakfast spot. We arrived on a Saturday around 10:30am and it was half full. This place is small inside but cozy and customer service was amazing! I ordered bacon breakfast burrito w/green Chile Ortega and my wife ordered 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 1 biscuit and gravy. My burrito (choice of mild or hot salsa) was absolutely delicious and my wife really enjoyed the biscuit and gravy. She mentioned that her biscuit was moist and gravy was perfect. Oldies music was playing and it gave great old school vibes. Must try if you are in the area. Can't wait to return.

We stopped at this little spot after a weekend of wine tasting. At first we were a little skeptical on how small the place was because we were a group of 10 people. Thankfully they had two picnic tables that could support us. The inside had s few smaller tables. But after we got seated quickly and our waitress was fast and very nice. This place is very accommodating to allergies and allows for build your own type breakfasts. I got the breakfast burrito with asada, subbing out the pork. And let me tell you, it was delicious. It was a very hefty size portion filled with potato's, eggs, cheese, and other goodies. It is definitely a portion large enough for 2 not so hungry people. The only reason this got a star taken away was because of the inability to seat large group even though we made a reservation. I would come back with a smaller group for sure.

The service was pretty fast. We got the Cobb salad and the chicken pesto sandwich. Both were pretty average and exactly what we wanted while we were on a road trip driving through Paso Robles. The place was pretty empty, just wish the tv was something else (it switched from a documentary on cocaine to a soccer game that was in Spanish) .

Just went there for the first time and this place is great!! Has all the hallmarks we look for in a restaurant: a) Local ownership b) Local management c) NOT downtown-but still close-in (meaning GREAT parking!!) d) VERY competitive pricing (e.g., great value) e) Extensive menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner) f) Extensive hours - for we late lunch/early dinner types e) Spotless! Always expected in a restaurant but really true here! FAMILY owned and operated. Makes all the difference. Let's support these guys and make local really mean something!!

Amazing family run restaurant! The food was delicious! You gotta try the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich! We were hesitant about trying a savory peanut butter jelly sandwich but we were glad that we did! The son of the owner was a great host and told us the origin story of the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich. This is a must stop restaurant if you're driving through Paso Robles!

Thank you Yelp = we never would have found this place without you. Wifey and I stopped in for breakfast a few weeks back. This is a neat mom and pop place where it seems everyone there is family. It's a bright, happy spot and a great way to start the day. We both ordered off the special's menu. I had the carne asada omlette and wifey had a benedict with pork I believe. Wow, the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. The folks there were super helpful and attentive - never had an empty coffee cup. If you find yourself in the area and you want a great place to relax, enjoy some sunshine and get a wonderful breakfast to start your day, this is the place. Great job folks!

Great brunch My husband and I shared a vegie omelette with a side of chile verde for brunch at this Mexican café. The service was super friendly and the food was terrific. It was well priced except for the charge to split the omelette into 2 plates - we thought the $8 charge was excessive for a quiet Monday morning!

Walked on the wild side and tried the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich, don't regret that decision one second .... So good. Have NEVER had a bad meal here. Never received bad service. As most smaller restaurants do that are around awhile.. this place's popularity has nearly pushed it to its limits on space.... Worth the small wait.

Everything was great! We had a party of 6 and after having a problem at the hotel we were staying at. They were super accommodating. It was definitely some of the best food we had all weekend. Everything was remade and fresh and we liked it so much. We brought friends back the next day.

What a wonderful find! Sunrise Cafe is off the beaten tourist path and we are so grateful we found it- courtesy of Yelp- and decided to give it a try! Our group had the Chile Verde Enchiladas, the Denver Omelet, the Classic Breakfast and the French Toast - and they were all delicious with very generous portions at a great price point! The service was fantastic and this family run business works like a well oiled machine! We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Thank you for a delightful end to our vacation!!

Food was fair. Don't tell you that if pay with credit card have to pay a different price, higher. Dont explain anything as they claim it's all written in menu. Not impressed with service nor were they customer savvy or professional.

Exceptional! Large portions, excellent food (had the denver omelette w home fries). Loved that the ingredients were mixed in the omelette and that the home fries were chunky and well browned with onions and peppers. Great service. Small and simple decor. Perfect!

Sunrise Cafe has everything you could want in a memorable dining experience - amazing customer service, great food, and intimate indoor & outdoor seating! They make great relationships with their regulars and have a diverse menu selection so you can try something new every time you come in. My grandfather, Dan, was their first customer when they opened years ago, and they constantly treat him as a good friend and loyal customer. Our family will always recommend Sunrise Cafe for brunch!

What a hidden gem! We walked to a park to see the Golden Gate bridge. Then we needed breakfast. This was not super close but the reviews sounded worth the walk. It totally was! We sat right down outside in the great weather. Super fast nice service. The food was great! My wife got the pancakes. Which had a amazing orange flavor. I got the Eggs benedict with fried chicken. It was a huge plate of goodness! Great place! I would come back!

Our 3rd visit here so a review is in order. Absolutely the best Pozole I have found in recent years. We've had various dishes and all are superb. Not a super fancy place, but the outside seating on a beautiful day is unbeatable. Try the BLT, above expectations, the breakfast meals are served fresh and hot. Flavors are full, tempting and I can't complain at all about prices. They are well worth it $$. The service is spot-on, we didnt have to ask for anything. If you're in the mood for clean fresh and a great meal, hit up this place. You won't go wrong. Open seven days.

Stopped by for breakfast on Sunday morning. This family owned business offers both inside and outdoor seating. The service is quick and friendly. The owner made a fun balloon for our little one and he enjoyed playing with it while we waited for our food. They offer a good selection of food items for kids as well as adults. We ordered the Denver omelet which comes with your style potatoes and toast + the crab Benedict and they were both very tasty! Highly recommend if you're looking for breakfast spot for yourself, as a group or family!

My sister and I decided to have brunch before we drove back home. We found this gem and glad we came here instead of the other place. It's family owned and our waitress was the sweetest. Food was amazing and so was the service. We definitely will be coming back if ever in the area or if heading out to pismo beach.
