Sometimes, the Best Wine Shop Is Your Local Gas Station | Eater
"A four-location gas station–convenience store in Austin’s Crestview neighborhood that became known as a serious wine shop by layering natural and organic wines onto an evolving craft-beer program. Manager Sam Rozani began ordering small quantities and opening bottles to taste so he could guide customers toward niche producers (for example, Broc Cellars and Bichi), cultivating a clientele that comes in expecting discovery and recommendations. The operation grew into a local resource — named among the city’s best wine shops — and expanded to a retail website in March 2021 so customers could order beer and wine remotely or send bottles to friends and family." - Patty Diez
