Sunset restaurant, Why was my review erased? Lol Not someone's liking? My tomahawk n octopus was always great. Food has always been good everytime I visited, But last visit was awful. Few of the staffs be on something while they at work. (intense) visibly. Last visit was to celebrate someone bday, we were 6. And brought them there to treat all of em because I find the food has been good to my taste. The bday person received the wrong bday cake I ordered, when I had to asked her multiple times to bring the cake out. Drinks?..well we got thirsty and with the few hrs we were there, well. We only got serve twice as for drinks. Because the waitress had the wrong orders mostly. Did we drink it? No. By the time the condiments was served our food got cold. Some orders was never served. They be bringing us stuff I never asked And charging me at the very end. You tell me how would you rate that.

Nice little spot in the old port, food is surprisingly very good. Been a few times and it’s always a pretty chill vibe. Staff has always been very friendly as well. Mo is a great bartender, very attentive and complimented me on my biceps! 5 ⭐️Review just for that. 😂💯

We stopped there for cocktails only before heading to our dinner place. We had a couple of overpriced cocktails, really overpriced. I had the Espresso Remy for $17 and there was a lot of ice in this drink. Like... a LOT. It tasted ok but all the ice diluted its taste into water at the end. Waiter was friendly, and we enjoyed being on the terrace. We didn't stay for food as we had a reservation at another place later. A good place not far from the water, but also one of the numerous old port overpriced patios I suppose.

Food was great. Staff seemed to be disoriented at times as the attention to service was spotty and we were the only people inside the restaurant. The outside patio was full and that's what seemed to be the priority. We were 6 people at our table, 4 people got their meals at the same time. The others had to wait about 15 minutes for their meals to be ready. I understand this was Formula one weekend and things were busy, but you only have one chance to make a good impression. I would not rule out going to this establishment again but at this point in time it would be for the food and not the service.

It was a show! Serving us wine with beer glasses. The wine menu was handwritten. It took 15 minutes just to bring the wine. The cutlery was provided with cocktail napkins and it was dirty. After an hour and half, the food finally arrived. We had ordered 2 steaks and 2 pastas. They brought 2 steaks, and we saw them offering another steak plate to 3 people, they refused, and then they arrived with this steak plate for us. We refused as it was not our order and they had already served this to other people. The waitress got mad and started discussing with us. She left. We slowly left the restaurant. Nobody noticed.

Terrible service. We went with a friend a couple of weeks ago, the service was the worse I have experienced in Montreal. We spent over $180 between two people and they treated us as if we had just sat there and ordered tap water. The waitresses were extremely rude and kept taking our unfinished drinks and food away from us. We had to tell them 20 times we were not done yet. It was as if they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. I can’t say for a fact they were being racist, but that thought crossed our minds, as we were the only table being harassed to dine faster and get out of there. They didn’t let us enjoy our food or our time there. It is a shame because the food was not bad at all, but the experience was terrible. I will tell my friends not to spend their time or money here.

Worst I’ve experienced in Montreal. As we were a big group, we agreed to a fixed menu (far in advance by the way) - they didn’t have what they promised on the “fixed” menu. The pasta we got was taken straight from the pot, no sauce or seasoning whatsoever. Waited 3 hours for our food. Waitress brought us a bigger bottle than what we ordered and tried to make us pay for it because it was opened (she opened it). Strongly advise against this place.
