Christmas Pop-Up Bar Miracle Returns to Old Montreal for 2019 | Eater Montreal

"Returning for its fourth year, the highly festive pop-up bar Miracle has moved to Sunset Lounge at 131 de la Commune West in Old Montreal. With Kevin Demers (owner of Coldroom, El Pequeno and Parliament) heading it up and Parliament chef Chanthy Yen helping with food, I expect the mixed drinks to be solid; many lean into the theme with options like a whiskey-gingerbread concoction or the “Christmapolitan,” complete with spiced cranberry sauce. Expect lots of Christmas kitsch and ugly sweaters (there’s a party dedicated to them on December 2), and note that a cut of proceeds will go to Opération Père Noël to help disadvantaged kids — last year’s Miracle raised $20,000 for the Montreal Children’s Hospital." - Tim Forster
