Sunset Slush NOLA

Not quite what I expect from Italian Ice. The flavors were very artificial. There was a limited menu at the time, one of the flavors I had I loved but the other one neither of us where able to finish. Had I gotten just the one flavor I liked I would give it five stars. They do let you sample so make sure you like the flavor you get and don't get anything you don't try first.

very small area and but the italian ice is delicious! super smooth but can also be icy depending on what you get. no complaints though the flavor variety is very wide and you can even swirl any two flavors you want. very refreshing and will definitely return!

I never had Italian Ice before coming here, but it is now one of my favorite cold desserts. Dare I say, it beats even the classiciest of new orleanian delights - the snowball??? You're just gonna have to go and try it. The wait might be a little while, but DEFINITELY worth it. Would go again every day if I lived closer, but would also go out of my way to buy their product again. 10/10

The best Italian ice ever !! It’s so soft, refreshing and they have a ton of flavors and toppings to choose from! The staff always greets me with a smile and they are so nice and friendly. I recommend everyone to go here you’ll love it !

I ordered 6 through Door Dash and they arrived frozen and delicious. It was sooooo good!!!! Texture was awesome and the flavors were phenomenal. If you're in the area you have to stop and try them out.

We went to this place after seeing a tik tok about their Italian ice slushies. They’re right down the street from the fairgrounds. The atmosphere wasn’t entirely welcoming to us and parking was tough like every other good place in New Orleans but I’d go again when in the mood for delicious Italian ice slushies. Yummy!!

I really like the flavors it’s just that the presentation is really sloppy.. they throw the condense milk all over the cup causing a mess.. the customer service could be better as well..

They have a variety of flavors from individual flavors to swirled flavors. You can also at gummy toppings, sprinkled or condensed milk to any flavor your heart desires. We came here multiple times during my stay in New Orleans. It was hot outside and this spot hit the spot every time. Great selection of flavors. They also have some great mixed flavors as well. Prices are very cheap for the amount you get. Lines get long sometimes but it goes by very quickly. Some of the best Italian ice I have had. Bahama Mama and the cherry limeade were fantastic

Nice on a hot sunny day. Flavors are good and not super sweet. I really enjoyed this. The lady was nice and explained the menu well.

Perfect snack for kids and anyone on a warm Nola day They have a list of mixed flavors you can choose from or you can mix your own 2 flavors from the single flavor list with accruing an additional charge. I had the strawberry shortcake and it was yummy. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors.

These slushes are everything. Soft, flavorful and refreshing. This is exactly what the doctor ordered to deal with this heat. If you haven't been go immediately. If you have been, it's time to go again! I definitely think I'll be back for a koozie refill on Sunday.

Finally got to try Sunset Slush. The service was quick and ordering was easy. We tried the Sunset Nola and Banana Pudding which I prefer the Sunset Nola. The Banana Pudding was good but you taste more of the blue vanilla than the banana. This is definitely a prefect summer treat for this New Orleans treat.

This little place is super cute. It's super reasonable and they have a nice variety of flavors. The lady at the window was so friendly and accommodating. I got a scoop of strawberry and the other order I got 2 scoops of cupcake and cotton candy. This will be a summer must have !

Its SOOO GOOD! So let me tell y'all what happened...I found out about this place a few months ago. The flavors are DELICIOUS and my husband and I have become regulars of this establishment! The people are always friendly and the product is so satisfying (especially on a hot summer day in New Orleans). I had been recommending the business to everyone I know, so when my daughters came home from college I told them about it too. My oldest ordered 4 pints fir the family so we could try different flavors but when we began to eat them the texture wasn't smooth like they always had been. The girls liked the flavors but not the texture. I called the shop to ask about a replacement but before I could ask the owner profusely apologized and offered to replace them even though they were getting ready to close. Once more she said she would deliver them to my home! I was SO IMPRESSED at her effort to make it right! (I live pretty close so don't expect that she would do this every time but seriously? THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) Did I mention they are a black-owned business as well? I only mention this because often black-owned businesses seem to have low expectations...unfair to be sure but it happens... anyway she delivered the replacements and they were wonderful! Smooth, creamy, flavors that dance in your month delicious!!! They have customers for life in my family! Do yourself a favor and go try them! Your mouth and stomach will love you for it!!!

I used to be a huge fan of the Luigi's Italian Ice sold in stores, so to be able to purchase this tasty treat in the fashion I would a snoball is exciting. Service was great and the cherry flavor I had was nice. Not too sweet and it had a really smooth texture. It doesn't melt like a snoball either. It was still intact after about 30 minutes. No melting whatsoever. I was complaining to myself that I wasn't given a napkin, but it turned out I didn't need one because it didn't melt. I'll be back to try other flavors. Definitely going on my list of places to visit for natives who live away.

BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS! Great location in the Gentilly area right across from the Fairgrounds. Friendly customer service and AMAZING flavor combinations. We tried Bubblegun, Tangerine Lemonade, and Blue Vanilla Almond. All of which were delicious. Definitely will be back to try more flavors soon.

I am so glad to have found this business. I love Italian ice, it is great substitute to snowballs. I find that Italian ice has more substance and not as sweet. I enjoyed every spoonful! There are so many flavors to choose from. You can select individual flavors or the mixed flavors for an additional charge. The business is tucked away, I passed it up because I arrived before opening and the signs weren't out yet. This was the perfect treat, I can't wait to return to try other flavors. I had Strawberry Lemonade and peach, I liked peach the best! Until we meet again! #blackownedbusiness

the service here is really nice & they have a nice amount of different flavors. the flavors we got (sunset nola & bahama mama) were really refreshing and perfect for the summer time. the quality was also very good. overall i would visit again and I would recommend :)

Today I tried Sunset Slush for the first time and it was a definite 10/10. The customer service was on point, the woman working and serving me was so kind and quick to get my order, even though she was juggling other orders as well. I had the watermelon flavor and it was refreshing and delicious!

The bomb dot com! Finally had a day we weren't busy with events and had time to stop. Great idea. Parking is limited, but this sweet treat is definitely worth the hassle. This Black-owned Italian Ice venue is serving up a lot of deliciousness and if you haven't picked up some you need to make a plan to get here soon. Loved them! The portion exceeded my expectations and were almost too much for me. Next time I'll see if they offer samples. I want to try the others to figure out mine because for the cost I'd hate to waste money on a flavor I don't enjoy. It also took over a while for it to be made & it definitely wasn't a packed and busy line. So long that she she "recommended" that I wait in my car & would flag me when they were ready. I assumed they'd scoop and serve like an ice cream shop, not so. But again they were, yummy tasting and filling. They also have a very high melting point, because my little one took forever to eat hers and it held up well.

So good, I'll skip snow balls just to come here. Super soft ice, melts in your mouth.

I ordered via Uber eats. I had never had Italian ice before. This was a snowball but smoother and milder. The ice was so smooth. The flavor was definitely present but not overwhelming. It was a joy to eat and I can't wait to try it again. I had black Cherry and raspberry. The black Cherry is a must!

My favorite icey treat in Nola! I have loved every flavor I have ever tried. My favorite has the be Cry Baby, it's just the right amount of tart. Honorable second place is blue raspberry and lemon. Always friendly and genuine service. We love Sunset Slush and I cannot recommend it enough.
