Sunshine Tree Terrace Review - Disney World - Orlando - The Infatuation

"If you’re on team Citrus Swirl and not team Dole Whip, come here. The mix they use for this frozen dessert is known to change—it’s kind of a dice roll whether you get a swirl of frozen slushy and vanilla soft serve that’s sweet or tangy. This is also where you can get the sippy cups shaped like Orange Bird that are all over Disney corners of the internet." - Carina Finn

Orange cream soft serve was absolutely delicious! I was so bummed they didn’t have cold brew float, but they did have strawberry dole whip. It was the perfect treat to enjoy after a long walk.

Wow, this hit the spot! It's hot, and I am tired from all of the walking, lol. So right in front of us is the Sunshine Tree Terrace. A quick stop 'n go type of place that offers soft-serve ice cream. Their special is this citrusy flavor called Orange Cream Float! The price was $5.29. It reminds me of the creamsicles from years ago. I'm happy again!

Google
This is one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had! Perfect for cooling down on a hot day, the flavors are rich and refreshing. The sorbet is especially delicious, you absolutely have to try it. Plus, the mobile order option makes the experience even better, letting you skip the line and get your treat hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Google
They have a couple simple floats and soft serves to pick but we got the I Lava You Float which is DOLE orange and strawberry soda/passion fruit syrup topped with popping candy. Didn't really taste the passionfruit syrup. Overall it was just okay . Suggest doing a mobile order to pick up faster.

Anna Klage

Google
This ice cream place was an amazing option for a hot day at Disney! The line was kind of long, but for Disney, that's not surprising at all. For a shorter wait, order for mobile pickup, and the wait is much shorter. So refreshing, would definitely come again next trip to Disney!

A Disney must! Orange bird! Pineapple dole whip is a Disney staple and located near Aladdin’s magic ride but this- this is something everyone needs to try. The twist to the regular dole whip is amazing- the lava float is delicious and refreshing. Also, the pot stickers here are also so good!

Google
Sunshine Tree Terrace, in Magic Kingdom's Adventure Land. Super popular ice cream place to hit up fruit flavour soft serves and floats. I finally got to try their new item, THE RED REVENGE! Creamy strawberry and vanilla swirl swirled on top of refreshing Fanta strawberry soda, also has a cute touch of a chocolate pirate hat too. Love how it's like a dessert + drink all in 1 since it's the same price as the soft serve in a cup. My friend's favourite is the requesting for the choco-strawberry swirl with the float. The most popular item on their menu is definitely the orange Cream. It tastes like a super creamy orangy milk mixing with the vanilla in a swirl. It's not too sweet, well balanced flavour, refreshing and definitely melts fast in the boiling heat. I personally loved the orange cream more than the other citrus flavour that's more like a sorbet. You can also get the orange cream on a float with orange soda too! Red Revenge - $5.99 Orange Cream - $5.99

The "I Lava you" Float is an excellent variation on the classic Dole Whip.

Yelp
I love dole whip, but I'm also starting to think I only love pineapple dolewhip. The strawberry and orange is a little too artificial tasting for me (the strawberry kind of tastes like laffy taffy), so it becomes less of a refreshing treat, and more of just a sweet treat.
google avatar

Royce L.

Yelp
It's an ice cream quick service stop in Frontier or Adventure land. It's not far from Jungle Cruise. They have mainly ice cream and drinks. They also accepted the meal plan here for snacks as well. Good place to spot for a quick snack. There isn't any tables as it's more of a grab and go. They do have a station with spoons and napkins

Yelp
This was a quick sweet treat to get in Adventureland. I got the I Lava You Float. It was very sweet and delicious. I like the combo of the pop rocks and strawberry Fanta with the dole whip. It was nice to try but I do think I prefer a regular dole whip since there was just so much going on with this.
google avatar

Yelp
Sunshine Tree Terrace is definitely one of my favorite quick service spots in Magic Kingdom. The "I Lava You Float" is seriously amazing and so refreshing. You are able to order on the app too and they make it for you once you arrive. This is a great spot to grab a quick snack!

Yelp
The Orange Dole Whip served at Sunshine Tree Terrace is one of my favorite Disney treats. I usually use the mobile ordering to order ahead, then they put together my desserts once I arrive so they're not too melted. I Lava You Float is so delicious with the orange dole whip, strawberry Fanta, and pop rocks. Reasonably priced to at $6.79 and could be shared easily (though I eat my own). Across the walkway there's some bench type seating on rocks.

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite spots at Disney world since they have refreshing dole whip for a hot day at Disney!! I got the orange dole whip with Fanta and was not disappointed. The float hit the spot and was a great treat for a hot day. This spot offers mobile ordering on the Disney app so you can order and skip the line! I also got the orange bird sipper which is super adorable and iconic! Overall such a great spot if you're looking to grab a quick dessert on to go. Can't wait to come back to try the other dole whip flavors!!

Yelp
DELICIOUS ORANGE AND VANILLA SOFT SERVE FLOAT On a hot afternoon, we sought relief at Sunshine Tree Terrace and ordered the I Lava You Float ($7.29) and the Orange Cream Fanta Orange Float ($6.49). The Lava Float was fun with its pop rocks but the orange and vanilla soft serve is now my new Disney favorite. Sunshine Terrace has no indoor or outdoor seating. We sat in a shaded area on the low stone wall shared with the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen restaurant. FYI - Sunshine Tree Terrace's menu has more variety than nearby Aloha Isle that is also in Adventureland. PS - On another day, we tried the Dole Whip Strawberry (cup $5.79). Although it wasn't a swirl, we ordered a Dole Whip Strawberry - vanilla soft serve combo (also $5.79 cup) that was Dole Whip Strawberry served on top of vanilla soft serve. The Dole Whip Strawberry is pretty but there was not much berry flavor so I will be sticking with the orange and vanilla soft serve. Park Admission: Magic Kingdom admission required Mobile Ordering: yes

Yelp
Sunshine tree terrance is typical known for tropical desserts and drinks and is the sister fast casual eatery of Aloha Isle. However during the very Merry Christmas party they had one dessert that I had been after for some time-Santa's belt buckle. Service was fast since I was ordering a party exclusive item. Since it was on the special menu we got served it right away. It actually looks like a belt buckle! inside the buckle you can taste pistachio with a chocolate mousse filling. Although this dessert is small it does pack a lot of punch! It is quite filling that I ended up sharing mine with my husband. I truly love the novelty desserts they came up with to make the party more special. Course you can settle for the Dole whips both pineapple and strawberry along with their floats. However, this special treat ought to be out all day during the holidays so anyone can snack on it. I'm glad I got the opportunity to purchase it at a reasonable price. Located next to Jungle Navigation-Skipper Canteen it is basically a take out place.

Yelp
They had orange and strawberry dole whip at this location which made my kids very happy. We stopped about three times here. I also tried the orange soda drink w the orange dole whip in it. My favorite might be the strawberry dole whip. Service is typical, you just walk up and order or pick up a mobile order. There are stone / rock sitting areas just outside the hut.

Yelp
Home of orange BIRDDDDDDDD! Sunshine Tree Terrace is sort of a Disney insider love! I just so happened to have a friend in my group that we just went to Disney with who is the biggest Orange Bird fan out there, so we did spend some particular time here to soak in the good vibes, Orange Bird statues and peeks, and try out some of the delicious items on the Sunshine Tree Terrace menu! They have so many delicious drinks/floats on this menu, including many DOLE WHIP products of all different flavors, but the most important flavor - given that it's specific to Sunshine Tree Terrace - is Orange Cream! This is a Dole Whip Orange and vanilla swirl and tastes so refreshing. If you're in a mood for a float, might I suggest the ULTIMATE drink, which builds on the Orange cream and is the I Lava You Float! Strawberry soda + passion fruit + orange Dole Whip + POPPING CANDY! This is the one of the few drinks (as someone who doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth) that I will prioritize and order from Sunshine Tree Terrace/all of Magic Kingdom/all of the Disneyworld theme parks again and again!

Yelp
As always, as I planned my trip to Disney I did some research on the current dole whips available. I was immediately drawn to the "I Lava You Float" which is described as "Fanta strawberry soda and passion fruit flavor served with dole whip orange and topped with popping candy." The various flavors had me a little nervous but I knew I needed to try it, and I am so glad I did. It was delicious and refreshing (which is always a bonus on a hot august summer day in Florida!). Sunshine Tree Terrace always has unique options for dole whip, so even if this exact flavor isn't available, it's always worth a trip by to see what they have that time of year!
google avatar

Yelp
Getting dole whip was a must when we went to Disney. So glad we stopped by Sunshine Tree Terrace and saw this orange cream and vanilla swirl. I'm a big fan of orange and vanilla flavors so having it swirl in a cup was a must try for me. It exceeded my expectations, absolutely delicious and perfect for a hot sunny day!

Yelp
the dole whip is yummy and the place is super clean. Highly recommended do not miss out go here

Yelp
I've visited this this quick service joint several times, both alone and as a part of a group. I have zero complaints whatsoever for this place. Seriously, I recommend that the prudent tourist grab themselves a Dole Whip and head on over to Pirates of the Caribbean (directions attached) to enjoy the soft serve in that winding, Spanish Fort themed queue. Also, the guys backstage are working their keisters off to constantly come up with new and interesting flavors to add to their arsenal. Just last year (9/20/21), I purchased the delicious "Tropical Serenade," a mixture of POG juice and Coconut topped with a pineapple cake pop. I loved it, my mother loved it, and I don't even like pineapple. In the end, a fantastic location for those wishing to munch on some tropical treats. 10/10 TLDR: Great ice cream joint. Grab a Dole whip in line for Pirates. Great innovative flavors.

Yelp
Sunshine Tree Terrace is a quick-service refreshment bar located inside Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. It opened in October 1971 (the same time that Magic Kingdom opened to the public). The eatery offers a variety of snacks, beverages, and frozen treats. It is most well-known for serving DOLE Whip and the Citrus Swirl. Sunshine Tree Terrace is also the home of the 'Orange Bird': a cartoon character created by Disney for the Florida Citrus Commission. My family and I visited Sunshine Tree Terrace while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. We were visiting Magic Kingdom one day during the evening hours. Between dodging ghosts at the Haunted Mansion and swashbucklers on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, we started to get hungry for a frozen treat. Most visitors to Disney Parks are familiar with DOLE Whip: a pineapple-flavored soft-serve frozen dessert that's sold at various locations throughout Walt Disney World. When we walked past Sunshine Tree Terrace, we decided to get the coveted treat. After looking on the menu and seeing that they offered a variety of frozen treats, we decided to order a few different kinds and make our own "DOLE Whip Flight". We ordered and shared the original DOLE Whip, DOLE Whip Strawberry, and the Citrus Swirl (Vanilla Soft Serve and Frozen Orange Juice Slushy). All three were delicious! My wife preferred the original DOLE Whip while I preferred the Citrus Swirl. Either way, you're going to find some very refreshing frozen treats at Sunshine Tree Terrace!

Yelp
I'm usually not a fan of "orange" flavored things, but I wanted to try a new dole whip and the Aloha Isle was super busy. I was skeptical, but many of my fellow Disney foodies and Dole Whip enthusiasts rave about the orange dole whip, so as a Disney World exclusive flavor, I went for it. The verdict? SOOOO GOOD! (Though I did have it as a float.) No regrets! The Sunshine Tree Terrace is located in Adventureland of the Magic Kingdom right across from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Guests can place their order through either the standby line or by mobile ordering through the MyDisneyExperience app. Their menu offers various items featuring their signature flavor of the orange dole whip including floats, and traditional cups of ice cream as single flavors or swirls (other flavors they offer are vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry). The Sunshine Tree Terrace also has Pork and Vegetable Pot Stickers for a savory option. I ordered the I Lava You Float which consisted of - Orange Dole Whip - Fanta Orange soda - Strawberry and Passionfruit syrup - Pop Rocks This had the potential to be a diabetic's nightmare, but it actually wasn't too sweet. All of the flavors complemented each other well and is one of my favorite dole whip floats I've tried to date. Though I was impressed with the coconut dole whip over at Aloha Isle, I think this one is much better, and I usually don't like things that are "orange" flavored. I appreciated the berry-tropical taste to the float. The pop rocks were a nice touch to the float in which they gave it a little surprise with each bite/sip. I would recommend this float on your next trip if it's being offered. It also is large enough to share with another person. Definitely well-worth the price tag. I had one gripe with my experience and it was the lack of direction for retrieving the mobile order. It is not clear where you're supposed to pick up your order once it's ready if there is a line filed around the stand (which is highly likely since this is a popular spot). To be honest, the line for the mobile order pick up and standby line were about the same...LONG. No way to really distinguish between the two. They have a small sign at the FRONT of the mobile order pickup window that only the first three people in line can see. What is supposed to be a speedy process takes much longer than needed. The Cast Members are also stretched so thin inside due the demand of the items, that when guests would ask them questions, they were so short with them to try and hurry the line along. Though the pickup experience wasn't as magical as the rest of the park, the product (float) at the end was worth it. The Sunshine Tree Terrace will definitely be a revisit for me during my next trip to the Magic Kingdom to get my Dole Whip fix as I may like it better than the Aloha Isle down the way. Give it a try! With the hot and humid weather of Orlando, you can't go wrong with a treat from them to cool down. NOTE: You must have a park ticket and admission into the Magic Kingdom to get something at the Sunshine Tree Terrace. There is no designated seating area for this establishment, so anticipate on traveling a little bit with your treat(s) to find a place to sit and enjoy. At the time of writing this review, there were no dining plans or AP discounts being offered.

Yelp
"I lava you!" Just say those words - that's all you need to know. You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Joshua R.

Yelp
Do you like the original Dole whip? Are you looking for something a bit more interesting with a kick, the come here and get the I Lava You float. This will knock your socks off! It is a Dole Whip with orange soda, strawberry syrup, red passion fruit syrup and pop rocks. It is tangy, it is sweet and it is oh so good. The syrup and soda mixture alone is something I would sip on but the soft serve with pop rocks with a bit of the soda, so tasty! This is the perfect solution to the heat and the crowds. Perfect for solo or to share!
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
There are very few things better than eating a soft serve on a hot day while walking through the Magic Kingdom. If you're looking for something a little different than the original Dole Whip or if you're a fan of Sunshine, you should make a stop here for a treat. Save yourself some time from waiting in the line and place your order on the mobile app... you'll be enjoying your treat in no time!
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
The Sparkling Sunshine (orange cream twist w/ sparkling apple cider) hit the spot. Pretty ice cream-forward rather than drink-forward, but that was what I wanted. Obviously any float is going to be pretty sweet, but I didn't find the cider overbearingly sugary. The ice cream is, of course, delicious, and a great refreshing treat for a day in the park. This spot and other soft serve kiosks aren't as exorbitantly priced as most Disney food which is a bonus. Plus you get a little plastic flute!
google avatar

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Need a refreshing treat during the hot sunny Florida weather? Sunshine tree terrace and the larger aloha isle are the spots to get them. The original pineapple dole whip is a staple but the orange and strawberry flavors are also refreshing. Mix and match and try them all. They are sweet and refreshing. 2-3 ppl per a float is appropriate. Pay attention to mobile ordering. There are three numbers on the floor. Put your order in and step on your number. Lots of ppl wait in the unnecessary line.
google avatar

Salma C.

Yelp
A citrus-centric Dole Whip establishment with some classic flavors. Do NOT try their Strawberry Dole Whip unless you enjoy the artificial taste. Their chocolate Dole Whip was okay and their Orange Dole Whip was not bad- a bit tangy but not my favorite. Their best options are the Orange or the I Lava You Float. Even then, I suggest going to Aloha Isle instead for better flavor options. I love my orange flavors, but this didn't do it for me.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Sunshine Tree Terrace is a great spot to grab a cool treat on a hot day in Magic Kingdom Park. They offer a variety of offerings including Soft serve, orange and strawberry dole whip, and floats including traditional root beer or coke floats and some special celebration float options. I'd recommend using mobile ordering so you don't have to wait in line and instead you can schedule and pick up at your goodies at your convenience.

Yelp
Nothing better than a good ol' Dole Whip to cool you down on a warm sunny day! We got the I Lava You Float and an Orange Dole Whip Swirl Cup. Both were amazing!!! There's not much to say other than this is a must get when at Magic Kingdom.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
You have to try this if you're at the Magic Kingdom!! Highly recommend this if it's relatively hot outside and you want something cool and refreshing!! I ordered the Citrus Swirl Float! It was so delicious especially on a hot spring day and you're running around trying to go to different rides. It has orange soda, with vanilla and orange tart ice cream. My sister got the Orange Cream. If you don't like tart ice cream I suggest the Creams! It's good too. The orange doesn't have the tart flavor. It melts fast so get a cup to put it in. If you get a cone, ask them for a cup because the ice cream be leaking everywhere. It's not near the tiki anymore, but if you walk along the street/path, you'll come across it and prob see a lot of people holding it. Service is really fast!
google avatar

Lee S.

Yelp
This is 3 stars only in relation to the other Disney treat options. Not sure what to say - the citrus swirl just didn't do it for me. The vanilla ice cream part was great, but the orange was just too orange-juicy and tart and didn't mix well enough. The orange flavor took over. Obviously, I know many many folks disagree - just one man's (and his wife) opinion. Dole whip for life!
google avatar

Yelp
Came only to get their citrus swirl and it was so refreshing! Generous portion as well!

Yelp
This is a must stop every visit to Disney. There is nothing more refreshing than a dole whip and it's dairy free! Perfect because of my lactose intolerance. Also you can't find pineapple ice cream many places. I placed my mobile order with ease and saw a combo of pineapple with raspberry. I got my order pretty quickly. It was delicious. Just perfect after a long hot day at the magic kingdom. All of the staff were friendly as well. You can get ice cream many places but not the dole whip!

Yelp
Orange dole whip float! Messy but great! Didn't get a picture since it was messy but over all great treat for a hot day

Yelp
Sunshine Tree Terrace has become one of my favorites at Magic Kingdom. I know I may take some flack about this but I like Sunshine Tree Terrace much better than Dole Whips because of the Citrus Swirl and the Reds Revenge! They are now my favorites! I wish they did a better job with the queue here, especially with how popular these delicious treats have become. The treats are awesome. I like the orange one that has has the softserve in it. It tastes so good on a hot summer day! The Reds Revenge has become a great treat as well. The Reds Revenge is strawberry with strawberry fanta and a piece of chocolate. It is so good. The Citrus Swirl can be dairy free if you have a dairy allergy or you can get it with vanilla ice cream. You can get it in a cup or a float over orange fanta. Both are my 2 new go to snacks at MK. I highly recommend you try these if you are a Dole Whip fanatic! They are different but taste great! Also if you are on the Disney Dining Plan they count as 1 snack credit. If you are just paying for it, it like $5.99. Try this out for sure!!

Yelp
The citrus swirl was everything I every dreamed of. It's tart, which I love and so refreshing. We'd get one and eat it while waiting in line to ride Pirates. My husband got an orange and vanilla cup and he enjoyed it as well. This is a MUST TRY! It cools you off and tastes incredible.
google avatar

Yelp
This is now my favorite place to go for a nice refreshing snack in Magic Kingdom! This past year I went to Disneyworld with my mom and while we were walking around the park we decided on trying this place. I had heard great things about their citrus swirl so I had to get it! The citrus swirl was so refreshing and delicious! It was basically like an orange creamsicle in a cup. It's definitely tart but mixed with the vanilla soft serve, it definitely takes away a bit of the tartness. If your looking for something fruity and cold to eat you have to give this snack a try! This citrus swirl is now my favorite snack to get at Disneyworld! My mom also enjoyed it very much!

Yelp

Yelp
Unlike what the Disney provided pictures for this listing show, Sunshine and Aloha Isle switched locations a few years ago for some reason. What this means is that they greatly expanded the capacity at Aloha while very much downsizing Sunshine. As a comparison when were at the park last week, we visited both spots to appease the citrus lovers in our party along with the pineapple lovers and both spots could not be more different. At Aloha it was a 25 minute wait with the stand being understaffed and mobbed. At Sunshine it was walk right up with the staff standing around doing nothing. The citrus swirl cups I was told were excellent which is what matters. Like Aloha this place is a good one while in MK to burn a DDP snack credit at.

Yelp
Love the citrus swirl so much. Sometimes it has a hallow center, but I love when it's a full swirl and they give you more. The citrus swirl is frozen orange juice and vanilla soft serve swirled together and while it melts super fast, it is so refreshing on a hot Florida day. The tart and icy orange juice mixed with the sweet and creamy soft serve is everything I want in a cold treat. I would order this before the Dole Whip any day. Why don't we have these in Disneyland? I don't know because it's not like we don't have oranges in our OC too. One time I even entered the Magic Kingdom just so I could order one last citrus swirl before I had to leave for the airport. This is one of the items I miss so much at WDW and I will be so happy if they every bring it to the west coast (come on Tropical Hideaway).
google avatar

Yelp
I love Sunshine Tree Terrace! If you love any type of citrus, dole-whip is the desert for you! One thing I love the most about it is that it's dairy free (Excluding the Vanilla Soft Serve and/or other soft serve flavors)! I also love how Disney often has limited time flavors. Recently my sister and I got the Kakamora Float and the Raspberry/Pineapple Dole-whip float and I am in love with the raspberry flavor! I also included a photo of the Hei Hei cone they previously sold, but no longer did. I loved it! Here's the details for my attached photos! *Kakamora "Moana" Float (coconut soft-serve with pineapple juice, blue curaçao syrup with a chocolate Kakamora cake pop) *Raspberry and Pineapple Swirl Float (Raspberry and Pineapple Dole-whip with pineapple juice) *Hei Hei Cone (Pineapple dole-whip, Raspberry dole-whip, with candy eyes and a sour candy strip as his wattle, on top of a blue cone)
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
I loved the citrus swirl and highly recommend that anyone visiting the parks give it a try. The sweet soft serv ice cream twirled together with the tangy and almost bitter orange slushy is an awesome taste combination. I have not tried the pineapple dole whip that is equally raved about so I can not compare the two. (The citrus swirl is also often confused as the dole whip.) It would be nice if they sold sampler sizes and put both for sale in the same place. The Sunshine Tree Terrace is located in Adventure Land near the Aladdin ride and in a tiny building. It would be very easy to walk right past it. There is an order window and next to it a pick up window.

Yelp
Orange Dole Whip I Lava You Float - This was our favorite float. The popping candy really makes it a unique experience. Dole whip rankings Pineapple - great flavor and creamy smooth texture Lemon - Pineapple Lanai - tart and refreshing Orange - Sunshine Treat - excellent both as a creamsicle and on it's own. Get the lava burst thing. I lava float. Raspberry - Aloha Isle - great flavor and creamy Lime - Pineapple Lanai - great flavor but sherbet texture. Little icy. UPDATE - last day was creamier and delicious. So, could be hit or miss. Lime - Storybook Treats - great flavor and creamy taste. Could be soft serve and not dole whip. Pineapple with Coconut - Simba's sunset - Tamu Tamu - best coconut flavor mostly because of the syrup. This was light and refreshing, but ours was very melty. Cream Cheese soft serve - Storybook treats - This was really weird. It intrigues you more than anything else but it isn't very good. Better when mixed with the coke but again, not great. Strawberry - Refreshment Port - too much like ice cream, did not taste like dole whip. Coconut MK - tastes like vanilla with a hint of coconut at the end.

Yelp
Can it be true!? Have I actually found something I love more than pineapple dole whip!? Citrus swirl you've stolen my heart! The icy yet somehow creamy consistency is just as smooth as the dole whip but the flavor was the kicker for me. The orange juice slush is tart and slightly bittersweet but its balanced by the creamy vanilla. If you're a fan of the creamsicle, don't pass up this frozen treat. The portion size was decent for the price but you gotta move fast since it was melting fast.

Yelp
If you've never had a Dole Whip before, then that is something you should remedy immediately my friends. The frosty pineapple soft serve treat is so popular, it's warranted a cult like following in both the east and west coast parks. You can order it as is, or get it as a float served over fresh pineapple juice. I am allergic to pineapples and still risk taking a bite each time my husband gets one because yeah, they are THAT good! When I started planning our first trip to Disneyworld this summer, I was elated when I discovered that they have a fruity sans pineapple frozen treat I could enjoy called a Citrus Swirl. It's a combination of vanilla soft serve and frozen orange juice concentrate (extremely similar to the kind in your grocers frozen food section). The tart/sweet balance works well, and is a refreshing cool down from the Florida heat. I ordered just the swirl itself, but you can get it as a float too over orange soda if you'd like. My husband still prefers the Dole Whip over this, but I'm a fan of not having to flirt with the Danger Zone while getting my sweet tooth fix. There are a few shaded tables nearby which is nice, so sit and rest your feet for a bit while you enjoy your snack.

Yelp
This was only my second trip to the Florida parks I've read enough park blogs that have described that this "citrus whip" is like the forgotten step child of the Dole Whip. (I'm a Disneyland, California girl and have had my fair share of Dole Whips.) On my way to Sunshine Tree Terrace, I passed by Aloha Aisle where the line was at least 25 folks deep. Luckily for me Sunshine Tree Terrace was practically a walk up. The citrus whip tasted like an orange creamsicle. Although, it's not as refreshing as a Dole Whip, it's still very enjoyable. My only complaint is that it melted so fast. I briskly walked back to where my family was chilling out (near the Country Bear Jamboree) and it was practically a thin shake! If you're a Disneyland, California visitor give the "citrus whip" a go!

Yelp
CITRUS SWIRL... i will say this again... CITRUS SWIRL... If you have been told by everyone that the dole whip is the best, you have been lied to! The citrus swirl was SOOOO much better than the Dole Whip. I also had it as a float which was delicious. If you come to Magic Kingdom and do not get one you are TRULY missing out on one of the best things they have to offer!

Yelp
I have heard about the Dole Whip forever and ever. It has a cult following and it's own twitter account. Well I thought that's what I ordered but alas I guess I didn't. I ordered the Citrus Swirl, which is like condensed orange juice swirled with vanilla soft serve. This is so not my thing but I figured as such an obsessed Disney Foodie I had to give it a shot. It was amazing!!!! I nearly ate the entire thing. O that frozen orange juice part was just so refreshing even on a coolish night. I will absolutely be back for this. I'm counting the days. If I had to pick one negative, it melts really fast. It wasn't even that warm out but plan to have many napkins on hand

Yelp
Sunshine Tree Terrace is known for its adorable orange bird on the logo! They serve cold, refreshing drinks that can help on any hot Orlando day. Sunshine Tree Terrace is the only place in the parks you can get the Citrus Swirl - an orange slushy with vanilla soft-serve ice cream! Aside from their signature item, they have a variety of other slushies for $5 each, a couple of which come with the signature Mickey Mouse straw. I had the Pina Colada Slushie on my last trip and it was pure perfection! Cool, fruity, sweet & a little sour...just what we needed to cool down! When it need of a sweet & icy cold treat, stop at Sunshine Tree Terrace - it can't be beat!

Yelp
Dole whip? What could I say that everyone else doesn't? It's amazing! My only complaint is that it gives me sores in my mouth. But so does pineapple. I think it's the acid. So if pineapple does that to you, like it does me, expect that from dole whip too. But I always get one anyway, it's worth it!

Yelp
Small stand in Magic Kingdom. We enjoyed a Dole whip and dumplings. Really enjoyed. Would stop there again.

Yelp
Love this little stand in magic kingdom! We were craving some ice cream and we were headed to adventure land. We mobile ordered the citrus swirl and some pot stickers. When we were almost there we went on the app and hit on our way. As we approached the stand we got a notification our food was ready and directions on how to proceed. Made the entire interaction easy and simple. Our ice cream was delicious and so were the pot stickers. They also gave our free glasses of ice water which was awesome. Outside of the stand they have ledges all around so there's lots of sitting and in shaded area. Loved this little break in our day for some yummy treats.
