Hmm, had higher expectations for this place given the reviews. Michelin tags on the front door does not mean ‘Michelin star’, so just be mindful of that.
We ordered: the Tom kha seabass (pretty yum! Too many mushrooms for my liking tho); the fried lotus root and mushrooms - extremely good!, pineapple fried rice - too sweet but okay overall, and the wagyu green curry - way too spicy even tho we asked for not spicy and got a confirmation as such from the server.
Ambience wise - beautiful to be by the riverside, all the lit up cruises going by was nice but their bright lights ruined the atmosphere a bit. Lots of mosquitoes or flies INSIDE the restaurant in the corner where we were sat which was off putting.
Service wise - very slow. Automatic service charge added to the bill. The drinks came promptly, the fried appetizer a short while after, and then 30 mins later.. the pineapple fried rice.. with no curry in sight. The Tom kha soup came 10-15 after the rice. And wagyu beef another 15 after that. So the rice was cold, and the beef was hot. And really spicy - we couldn’t really eat much of it.
Overall, 3/5
