Super Baklava Niyazi Usta

I’m honestly surprised. The halka tatlısı looked very appealing, but the taste was quite disappointing. It tasted stale, which makes me wonder how a product like that can be put on display and sold to customers. The syrup was actually nice and well balanced, but unfortunately the pastry itself didn’t feel fresh at all. Especially in a place that is often described as the “Turkiye of the UK” I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. This is one of Stoke Newington's foodie secrets. This is THE place for Baklava . Sweet and delicious. If you like Turkish pancakes (Gozleke..?) as much as I do then you cannot beat the wonderful variety of the mainly vegetarian fillings. Coffees and teas and wonderful Baklava, of course! The service is both welcoming and helpful, at a cost that will suit all pockets . This establishment has been in Stoke Newington for 9 years. ..don't wait any more - Highly recommended -5*

Rude, unfriendly service from start to finish. I was patronised when asking for a Turkish coffee and told it was “too strong for me.” Ordered a latte instead and it was served with clear annoyance. The gözleme is ridiculously overpriced. I was also tricked on the price of baklava — broken pieces were added without my consent to increase the weight. Toilet conveniently “broken.” Scammy, dishonest, and unprofessional. Do not recommend at all. This kind of practice should be reported. Avoid!

They don’t even deserve 1 star. Our birthday cake was a disaster. They never listen to what the customer wants; they can’t even be bothered to read the note written for the cake. They included everything I specifically said I did NOT want. We couldn’t eat the cake at all and had to throw it away. I absolutely do not recommend them it’s a complete waste of your money.

Terrible and rude service, when I was speaking to a man. Mushroom & mozzarella gozleme was a bit spicy (not for a child). Will not recommend, there are better places.....

I have come here many times,and the owner always gives me free extra cheese bun,that is soo nice of him.

The service was quick and helpful. I had pistachio baklava, it tasted fine probably because it was late in the day. It was very affordable.

I love the vibe of the blond lady. The people are so nice here. The baklava was melting in my mouth and the turkish coffee is really good.
