Truthfully, as far as burger places go, this was pretty okay. It's somewhere between in-n-out and better burger restaurants. The patties are the standard size most places have, which makes you wonder, why pay so much money for a burger?
My friend and I went in at a time where it wasn't very busy, around 1 pm. There are kiosks where you place your order. The people behind the counter are friendly and welcome you while offering help if one needs it. I ordered the burger with bacon and egg (it was one of their specials), a side of garlic fries, and extra of the sauce on the side because I love sauces. They have pickles in containers to the left of the kiosk, where you can help yourself.
I love pickles, but these weren't that great. They were overwhelmingly vinegary with a kick from the peppers they use in the brine. It needed something more, like a little more salt, peppercorn, or dill. It wasn't very enjoyable for me. The burger itself, as I said, tasted very similar to an in-n-out burger, but had a slightly different seasoning. A plus is that they know how to cook their burgers! I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect medium patty. The fries really did save the day, with the perfect amount of garlic and the cheese added to the flavor as well.
The super duper sauce tastes like a thicker caesar salad dressing, which wasn't my favorite, because although I love caesar salad, it's odd for a burger place to do without giving a proper description of it. It also didn't add much to the burger experience as a whole because you only get the occasional acidity from it while eating the burger. The vegan mayo was good. The star that saved the show was the chipotle aioli! I love a good chipotle aioli, and this one tasted just like the one I make back home. It was perfect, with the right amount of spice to it. If it weren't for this, I would probably never think of coming back here. I paid about 23 bucks for the food, which is what I would pay at Denny's and probably receive a very similar experience but without the garlic and chipotle aioli. It's a cute little place though, and it has a pretty good vibe with how the format is, with seating up above that overlooks the "restaurant." Would recommend for the chipotle aioli and fries, and I would probably come back here for that.
