Super Pollo

Ordered the B Combination, Combo Azuayo. It was absolutely delicious, and more than enough food for two. Probably perfect for 3 hungry people, or 2 and a kid. One whole chicken, accompanied by plantains, rice, beans, and an avocado salad. Everything was delicious, but I really think their beans are soooo good! It’s like a Mexican take on baked beans almost, but not sweet. So good! The lunch special prices are great, some of the stuff on the menu is a bit pricy though. Well worth it, I find that this is leftovers for tomorrow too.

Dear Lord this place is amazing! If I could live next to Super Pollo I would! Everything here is delicious and that’s not exaggerating! EVERYTHING. IS. DELICIOUS. The chicken, amazing, never dry and always flavorful! The rice, super tasty and seasoned beautifully! Their house sauce is perfection and I highly recommend buying a bottle for your home! The cocktails are fantastic, strong but not overpowering. Thanks for always making going here a pleasant experience! The people that work here are awesome too! I’ve never had a bad experience and I highly recommend going to Super Pollo as much as you can!

Ordered through DoorDash for delivery. So much flavor!! The chicken, beans, sauces, everything had so much flavor. The food tasted fresh, salad was crisp. And we ordered at 10:30pm. Definitely gonna be one of our go-to spots. The whole chicken combo is pretty expensive which is the only downside here. But flavor and portion is 10/10.

To start, the drinks were A-mazing! We had a Pina- colada & the whiskey-toro. The pina colada tasted like the ones u get in the Caribbean omg so so good. The food was really good too & the prices are fair for the servings the give. The chips and salsa were rich in flavor. 🍹

Best Rotisserie Chicken in Ridgewood Queens. The food is always delicious and the ambiance is amazing. They have outdoor seating and the street is not congested with cars allowing you to enjoy a quite outdoor dinner with the family or friends.

Delicious food. Amazing green sauce. I really enjoyed the lunch special at $12.50. The portion size was good with a avocado salad and soda. I would highly recommend.

Welcome to a little slice of Ecuador. The roasted chicken is clearly the jam here as there was a constant stream of folks taking out and walking in to sit and enjoy these huge portions. The 1/4 chicken is a leg and a thigh roasted to perfection ultra juicy yet crisp skin. You can order a side with that (we got fries and maduros) all for $14. Each dish came with a side salad and chips an salsa to start. It hit the spot and was delicious. Yes this is one super chicken.

Food here has been consistently good for years. Savory chicken, love their seafood fry, and all the usual Spanish dishes. Seating is comfortable, but parking is tough, so beware. But it is in a very nice and quaint part of Ridgewood to walk thru on a date. Enjoy

This spot had potential, but it just didn't hit the mark. The rotisserie chicken was juicy and bursting with flavor. But the rice and beans? An absolute fail--dry, clumpy, and just plain bad. The broccoli could've been a winner with some seasoning, but it tasted like straight-up boiled water. Sadly, I couldn't even finish my meal. Maybe I'll give their grilled chicken a try to see if they can redeem themselves from this one.

We order takeout from Super Pollo regularly. I always love the rotisserie chicken and the pernil. I'm also a fan of their tres leches cake. We buy their green sauce by the bottle, too. Food comes quickly and is usually nice and hot. I've never eaten inside of the restaurant, so I can't speak to the ambiance.

Great rotisserie chicken! Chicken is well cooked, a little salty for my liking. Overall great quality and large portions. I ordered delivery through them directly and they showed up within 30mins! Great experience. I will be back to dine in.

Super Pollo has long been a local favorite. I highly recommend trying the Bandeja Paisa - a generous platter featuring grilled steak, beans, eggs, arepa, sweet plantain, chicharrón, and avocado. It's a truly satisfying and flavorful meal, well worth it! The rotisserie chicken is exceptionally juicy, and pairing it with a side of salchipapas makes for a perfect combo. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and come with a delicious side. You won't be disappointed!

Grade " A " rating, on a Saturday about 4 pm. Plenty of seating, but street parking is a premium. I believe I heard the " Entire " Aventura CD, music genre was not mixed up ( which would have been better ). The service was quick, the food was delicious and would highly recommend.

My buddy and I drove all the way from Oceanside to Ridgewood Queens this past week to surprise my friend on his birthday. We were empted handed so we had the bright idea to pick up dinner from Super Pollo Restaurant. To say we were three happy campers that evening was an understatement. I have never seen the three of us amigos so darn quiet. We were all locked-in on our meals and barely looked up... it's that freaking good! Two of us got the bandeja paisa and one ordered the 1/2 chicken meal. It's been a couple years since I've eaten from Super Pollo but the portions are as generous as I remember. Not only was I the only one to have devoured my entire plate in one sitting but I also had some of my friends leftovers.

Super pollo is the best! Their delivery is always fast, and the food always arrives hot. Their green sauce is just the right amount of spice and soooooo good. The maduros are excellent. Their pernil very juicy and seasoned well. I've never been disappointed by super pollo. The restaurant is cute, and good service.

If you don't love super pollo something is seriously wrong with you. The go too is baked chicken with rice and beans. Oh and don't forget the avacado salad! Or the green sauce! Their sangria is awesome too!

I've been eating here for almost a decade and it's always delicious and consistent. Fast and friendly service and nice for takeout or dine in. Great happy hour with a good selection of drinks. Good portions and fair prices. All the staff is so friendly and attentive. My favorite dish is the quarter chicken combo with an avocado salad/ rice and beans or French fries.

This place is a 20/10 for me. Pure perfection in every way. I just ate here with my bf and couldn't wait to write this review. Food Every single piece of food was pure perfection!! First of all, they bring chips and salsa to the table. So few places still do that. We ordered tostones and guac as an appetizer and we added chicharron. We were two people eating but that appetizer could've definitely fed four. It was so delicious. We also ordered a glass of sangria each and it was so good. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with rice beans and avocado salad. My bf ordered the entraña. I don't know who's food I like more. It was all PERFECT. The skin on the chicken was perfectly seasoned and added such a great touch. His entraña come out on a fajita like plate so we took it off of that plate because he likes his steak medium and we didn't want it to over cook. I got horribly full because I couldn't stop eating. This is by far the best place I've been to recently. Service The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and accommodating. From the moment we walked in to the second we walked out, everyone was great. Ambiance The music was nice and not overwhelming. The place was very nice, clean and tidy. Bathroom Bathrooms are a big deal to me and the bathroom was clean, spacious, and perfectly lit. I absolutely loved everything about this place and cannot wait to eat here again.

The food is very good. The service is on point. The Bendeja Paisa is a meal and a half and savory. Can't go wrong here.

Food here is so good. Food always comes fresh. I do prefer eating at the location verses ordering out, not sure why. But this is def my go to for rice and beans and chicken.

I suggested to my husband we should try it out, Wrong move ! * Unpleasant & unwelcoming demeanor * Terrible & rude waiter service ( from the older man) For some odd reason our waiter thought it was ok to keep pointing his fingers in the direction of my face while taking my order * Flavorless over cooked Chicken cutlet * Tostones were not ready to be cooked, very stale. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Food was amazing. Fresh chicken, tostones weren't soggy. Guac was thick but flavorful. Rice was well done and beans felt like grandma made em. Only thing i Didnt like was the empanadas. Unless you like sugary ass empanadas then thats all you. Other than that im good. But defintly a good spot!

Great food! Prices are great and friendly people. What else can we ask? We haven't been able to find a nice combination of Latin/Spanish food they have Ecuadorian, Colombian, and Peruvian

Food is good but service has declined a lot. I went in with some friends on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. There was a few tables outside and 2 tables inside. The servers were somehow overwhelmed. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and the server never brought it. Then we ordered the fried mariscos and it took forever. Luckily, we weren't too hungry. The mariscos were really good. A bit oily but it was expected of fried food. La salsa de cebolla on top was delicious.

I would absolutely give this place 0 stars if I could In short: flavorless, rude, and food isn't fresh (especially the fish and plantains) #1 rude manager- we originally ordered with a sweet server but she asked the manager to come because her English was limited. Understandable, unfortunately the manager is incredibly rude. I asked if I could have a fish burrito, and he said "NO! NO WE DONT DO THAT! NO, NO" with no recommendation or anything. When I asked if I can just avec the burrito with no meat then, same response. Ok. But then the person I was eating with ordered a rotisserie chicken and a side of guacamole to this manager. He said ok, then I saw him send another server back to us to tell us no we can't get a side of guacamole. Only guacamole WITH tostones or WITH chips. Weird inflexibility again, so we got the tostones. #2 We make tostones all the time and have them at several restaurants. These were the most disgusting ones I've ever had. They're not fresh (they taste heated up), there's no salt on them, and they're dry. DRY like I don't know how it's possible to have plantains with no moisture #3 the rotisserie chicken was dry, the only good part about it was the skin #4 the guacamole had absolutely no flavor #5 FISH- I got the breaded tilapia since everything else was being met with yells and flailing hands. This was so bad. So bad that there's not much I can say. It tasted FREEZER BURNED. it was the worst fish I've ever had. It tasted distinctly like when you have fish sitting in the freezer for a long time and cook it, but that freezer burned taste can't be removed. Completely not fresh, completely disgusting. Please avoid this place, I wish we didn't come here. I've never not taken food home from a restaurant but this food was so bad I couldn't eat half my plate. And then the same manager didn't hesitate to express his annoyance with me for not taking the rest of the food home.

Usually my go to when I'm ordering-in but the service has been noticeably bad. Please see photo of the avocado that they sent. Is it so hard to check the items you pack before sending it out? They gave the wrong order AND the avocado is black all over. Definitely NOT appetizing. With the price that they are charging you'd think they would check quality of all the produce.

Super pollo in Ridgewood food is super yummy. I'm going there every week. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow, so much yes! This was our first time ordering from Super Pollo and we were extremely happy with our order. We ordered the Combo Azuayo. The food arrived quickly, ready to eat, and with the perfect portion size. The portion size is great for about 4 adults. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you & gracias!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. You'd think that the people in charge would be more hospitable but instead they were rude and nasty in front of the customer to other employees because they made a mistake. The food in nowhere near good or decent to even begin with. Management should focus on improving their food quality instead of creating a hostile environment for customers and employees.

SUCH good margaritas and a super kind bar staff!! Will absolutely be returning very soon to try the food (which also looked great) :)

I ordered and came to pick up the food to bring back to the crib and have a picnic in the room lol. The food came in a plastic bag w/ a brown bag. The portion size is big definitely can share If you're not a big eater. Inside the bag included Napkins, green sauce, plastic forks & knifes. Now for the food I ordered the grilled chicken, rice & beans w/ plantain the good old Spanish spot go to meal never failed ever. Shit was fire! God bless this place Definitely recommend.

I've been hesitant on whether or not it would be wise to write this review, but it's too pressing not to do so. So, here goes. First off, I am a long time customer of over 2 years and I have been ordering the Pechuga Platter every night for dinner, for the past year or so. The food isn't the problem. They have amazing food and their green sauce is to die for. It's their staff. A month or so ago, I had received a delivery driver (that is part of the restaurant, not through any delivery app) for my usual platter order. When she handed me my food, she said "No tip?". As she walked away, I told her "it's rude to ask". Their food is expensive as is. I order from them every single night. They kept trying to solicit tips and extra gratuity out of me, so I eventually called the restaurant and was told it would be reported to the manager. And, on a further note, they are extremely petty in this regard. I cannot afford to tip (it is optional) and they are honestly quite pricey. I've spent a lot on them as is. Even when it comes to delivery instructions, I have told the staff to leave it at the door outside my apartment. I come out to retrieve it, only to find it hanging from the top of the door, when they know better and to put it on the stoop. This isn't the first time they've done something like this to me. It keeps happening. And I know these drivers / restaurant staff members are doing it on purpose because I'm a frequent customer. They recognize my address, contact info, and order details--so it's safe to say I'm well known among them. Anyways, be cautious when ordering from this restaurant. The only thing "Super" about it to some extent is the food... otherwise, there are greedy and shitty human beings running it. Don't let them fool you out of your pocket.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area - the food is delicious whether you are dining in or taking it to go. I crave the sangria, and all of their other cocktails are excellent as well. The staff is very attentive, super sweet and know your name :) Highly recommend for any occasion!

The chicken is so friggin' good here and they have awesome lunch combos. Always extra food leftover. Their avocado salsa is amazing. I always order extra sauce.

I like their chicken, rice and beans and I love the empanadas which are done crispy so I'm guessing it's corn flour, but I don't know for sure. They also have fast takeout. I've never waited once I arrived after being given a time.

My friend and I split the half chicken with avocado salad for 2 which was more than enough for us. It came with salad, rice, beans and Maduros. The chicken was melting off the bones and had excellent flavor. The rice was superb. We were served complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was amazing!!!! We also ordered plantains with guacamole which was a bit too much food for us. The Maduros were great with the crema white sauce. My friend ordered the mango shake and had the option to get it with water or milk, which I appreciate as a non-dairy person. Service was friendly and flowed. We sat outside which felt private, Covid friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend this spot!!! How did I live in Ridgewood for so long, walk past it a C million times and only go after moving out of the neighborhood?!

I had ordered carne asada and they gave me chuleta I was so hungry and I ate but I'm wondering if is the same price

I definitely enjoyed the salad and whatever yellow sauce it came with. I like the beans as well! Def would rather have the rotisserie chicken instead of the breaded chicken cutlet.

I love Latinoamerican Food. This place has a lot of flavor. But they became busy and greedy their prices constantly changes going up and up. Putting customers to pay their ambitions, like renovations and extensions. Sadly the restaurant does not care of customers but money. Some people can afford it but don't forget about the community that build this neighborhood and the one who helped when you Super Pollo started as a small business. Thankfully other Latin restaurants are out there to get affordable food with also lots of flavors.

Got calamari to start with, really fresh, super tender honestly the best thing we got. My boyfriend got steak which came with a rice, fried egg, avocado, and fries. It was a large amount of food my boyfriend wasn't able to finish it. He said the rice was tasty, the steak was well cooked, and not dry, to drink he got a lemonade. I got the chicken burrito, i wasn't a big fan i felt like it was missing flavor, i wish it had cheese. It only had rice beans chicken and a small amount of sour cream. I got a pineapple smoothie made with milk it was really good. I really did not like the fact that an 18% tip was already included, this restaurant isn't some tourist destination. Would i come back? No. Worth the money? Not really i feel like what we got was not worth $82.

Wow. We had such a good meal. The chicken was so flavorful. The cocktails were also very good. And the price point was even better. Can't wait to keep coming back!

I always ordered food delivery from this place, so can't really speak about the customer service, restaurant decor, etc. From my delivery experience, this place is awesome! Food portion is huge and taste really good! In love with Super Pollo and will definitely keep ordering from them again!

Disclaimer: i ordered from door dash. We ordered a whole chicken, yellow rice, red beans, tres leche cale and chips with pico de gallo. Tres leche cake: DELICIOUS!!!! AMAZING!!! good room temp but I'm going to make sure it gets chilled the next time Chicken: off the chain Rice: cooked perfectly Beans: really good (I prefer black beans, will look harder to see of they have them the next time) Chips with pico de gallo; this is where they lost a star. The chips are amazing. They have to be freshly made because I have never tasted chips like this. They failed me with the pico de gallo 1. It was 2 small condiment containers of pre made salsa and 2 more containers of guacamole. 2. As far as I know pico de gallo is suppose to be fresh, nice pieces of veggies in its own juices. Not like the stuff that comes out of a jar. Correct me if I'm wrong. 3. And no where does it say guacamole 4. There was not enough sauce for all the chips at all However... I would still order the chips and make nachos out of them.lol

It was years before I ate here but once I did it became a staple. Great happy hour cocktails to match the food. Ummm, the name says it all, lots of really good chicken. Always start with the avocado salad, great deal on a whole chicken with plantains, beans and rice. Heated outdoor seating is also a plus

If you are looking for a good meal at a good price, this is the place. Service is somewhat bad, but they make up for it with the food. Ambiance, is nothing special, but we are here for the food. Suggestion, eat in...the food is definitely better. Take away isnt as good and meat usually comes over cooked and dry.

Ordered for delivery and it was super fast. Food was good and flavorful. I ordered the yuca and thought it would be the steamed pickled version, however it is fried.

Ordered for delivery and got this bleeding chicken. I had to fry it my own. This place used to make quality food. Now, they overcharge for tasteless food. I guess their name got famous and now they can charge whatever they want. Now you lost a loyal customer.

Food and service is always great, but I was there this evening and order a sangria the orange wedge came with the sticker on, it makes me wonder they dont wash the fruits they use, I told the server about this, and he didnt apologize or anything. i Really like the food in this place, but I don't think they take the public health serios. I hate to say it but I will no go back there .
