Cart-service dim sum runs into early afternoon, followed by an extensive Cantonese dinner playbook. Lauded by Westword and 5280 for consistency and breadth, it’s a compact, no-frills room where shrimp dumplings and baked buns shine.

Had a great dim sum experience in Denver. No wait time in weekend at 11 is a plus. The foods were good and priced reasonably. All the carts were so ready to serve the new customers, so the foods came out very quickly. We were stratified with most of the dishes besides the sticky rice chicken(nuo mi ji), which had very little fillings, the rice was tasteless and a little bit dry on the outside layer. Otherwise the rest of the dim sums were good and recommended! Would come back in the future!

I have serious concerns about the food safety and quality at this restaurant. My recent delivery order includes rotten vegetables, unexplained black spots on the food, and insects in rice. Extremely disgusting.

Not bad not bad: Good points are daily cart-service dim sum 👍 Decent variety of items 👍 Not crazy busy or closed on Weds (IYKYK) 👍 - Don’t be fooled by the name, Super Star is not going to win any beauty contests, BUT it holds it’s own in a city with few dim sum options. If you can go with a friend/family who speaks mando/canto then all the better for service and all-around experience.

This is a Chinese restaurant next to the GW market grocery store. It looked like a very old restaurant with similar decor. We were offered a variety of dimsums on a cart. The staffs did not even bothered to give us the menu, immediately started offering some food from the cart. We requested the menu, and requested sizzler, fried rice and a noodle. The food was decent but quantity and quality were definitely not upto the mark not deserved the price they charged. The entire restaurant was smelly and not too clean. The staffs do not speak English, we found it difficult to communicate. I will hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Hope they improve their standards to deserve the price they charge.

Experience/Environment: Family oriented, family style. Experience taste and traditions that honor my culture! Price: I can’t tell you how much each dish was but seven of us ate for 100$ and we were all full, full. Food: Delish! Flavor and freshness combined. Service: It was super busy but we were seated right away (lucky us!!) the guys at the desk was nice, the owner stopped by and said hello. We asked for a couple specialty dishes when the carts didn’t have it and they were brought out to us. NTT [[Next Time Try]]: Likely everything I had today. I tend to eat the same things whenever I go to dim sum lol. Shrimp dumplings, pan fried noodles, shrimp tofu, stuffed eggplant, dumpling dumpling dumplings! Stop by! Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you out there! xo

They offer authentic dim sum and regular Chinese dishes. They have cart services only on the weekends, but they serve dim sum every day. Don't mind their speedy service, which sometimes may seem rude to regular customers. Come and enjoy the food, and you will leave happy. Tips: - Over the weekend, come before 10:30 AM. Otherwise, you will be waiting in a long line.

Super Star has been around for a couple of decades. I had not eaten here for a long while as there are several other dim sum restaurants in Denver area. I went for a late lunch after hiking a 14er's. I was never offered the dim sum menu and one of the servers pushed the cart over and showed me a few items. The dim sum was okay definitely not the best in Denver. I also noticed there were no small items, everything was medium or up which means the price is 10% more expensive than some of the other restaurants. May be I was thirsty, but I thought the tea itself was good.

Google
Flavorful Dim Sum that will absolutely satisfy your craving. I know personally I've been craving some good and traditional Dim Sum for a while, but I wasn't sure where to find it. I'm really glad to have came across Super Star, and would certainly recommend this place for a great Dim Sum experience. They had fresh and hot dishes that I've become accustomed to back when I had more regular Dim Sum in Boston. I always love the push cart service which accompanies this cuisine, which is an added bonus and assures me I'm in the right place. One drawback is that the cost of the meal was a little more than I would have hoped and expected. Therefore, be advised to come hungry but don't come starving as you'll leave with a racked up tab. All in all I had a great experience and will certainly come back in the future.

Yelp
On our last day in Colorado, we were craving some Asian food, specifically dim sum, to wrap up our trip. Unfortunately, most places didn't open until later in the day, so we decided to try Super Star Asian Cuisine. When we arrived, we were the only ones there, which made us a little concerned at first. However, we were quickly served a kettle of tea and began ordering some of our usual dim sum favorites. To our pleasant surprise, everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The service was excellent as well--the servers and manager were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're ever in Denver, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Yelp
There's this awesome little spot in Excelsior that you should definitely check out. There's a bunch of Filipino options, but also Chinese. It's certainly a local, hole in the wall restaurant. You can get full meals without spending much! Most of the meals on the menu are priced between $5-7, only recently going up. Keep in mind that they only do takeout and they only accept cash! I opted for a super popular Filipino meal, Tapsilog. I also decided to try their pork chop, which seemed to be the go-to option for many people. All the meals come with a fried egg, tomatoes, and garlic fried rice, which will certainly fill you. The pork chop was covered in a crazy amount of deep-fried goodness. The jumbo fried chicken was my favorite. So much food and so tasty. Definitely give this place a shot if you're around the area.

Yelp
Have you noticed the new floor at Super Star Asian Cuisine right by the Denver Great Wall Supermarket and Costco Business Center. Compared to the dated carpet before, the new floor looks quite refreshing. Certainly a nice makeover.

Yelp
Super good! I prefer this dim sum over Star Kitchen. Standouts include the salt and pepper tofu, har gow (crystal shrimp dumplings), sugarcane shrimp and lotus leaf rice. The xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) had a great flavor, but not as juicy as I would have liked. (My favorite soup dumplings in Denver are at Dating Yumy.) The restaurant is more spacious than Star Kitchen and I like the atmosphere better. They were a variety of carts going around on a Sunday afternoon. It didn't take long to get seated for 4. We were very full, and ended up spending $20 per person. Overall, this is a really solid choice for good dim sum in Denver!

Yelp
We came on a slow day. Food was ok. Service was so so. I don't recommend. They can stand to treat their customers better. Will not come back and will not recommend.

Tien T.

Yelp
i ordered 2 siu mai and 1 beef trippe/w ginger. Each order is 4.50 So comes out to be 13.5 but i got charge 17 bucks. No way tax is 3.50. Make sure you add up the total or they will charge you extra. Last time i paid 15 bucks for 3 items.

Yelp
This place let me dog in. That was a plus. They had pretty good service. I really wanted to give it more stars, but the food didn't taste good. Everything I had did not taste fresh. From the shu mai to my chive dumpling to the banana leaf rice wrap. The rice was dry, the won ton wrap was dry. Nothing tasted juicy. My porridge was alright. Maybe I came on a bad day. It's also quite expensive. I'm not quite sure how they price each group but I ordered about 13 items in group A and maybe 2 other items in group D or E. A special item I suppose. My bill was 156$ with tip included.

Yelp
Super Star is definitely a better experience than Star Kitchen! I would go here again and enjoy another afternoon of dim sum and treats! They seated us quickly as a party of 4 and we were also served pretty immediately upon being seated! Loved the jasmine tea, of course! My absolute favorite dish and what I would totally recommend was the salt and pepper tofu! Hot tip: make sure it's freshly heated or have them heat it for you! The tofu will melt in your mouth! It's soooo tasty! Also, really enjoyed their soup dumplings, shumai, taro puffs, sesame red bean balls, sugar cane shrimp, bao, and shrimp dumplings. We had lotus leaf rice and I wasn't personally too crazy for it. The sausage was a bit too sweet inside. But, if you're a sweet sausage lover, this could be for you! Overall, it was a fun experience... especially with friends, because we could split more and try more together! The service was fast-paced and we ended up paying about $20pp and walking out super full!

Yelp
Best Dim Sum in Denver! Go during the week to avoid long waits! Don't miss: turnip cakes (the regular ones) Chasiu Bao (baked and steamed) Sesame balls Custard pies

Yelp
Best dim sum in Denver. Service can take a bit when they are busy, but that is to be expected. It can get quite loud when crowded, but also expected. A great variety of dim sum on the carts and you can also order off the carts. Have ordered most dishes at some point and are always pleased. Fried tofu, spareribs and shrimp dumplings are the favorites. Highly recommend.

Anthony G.

Yelp
Truly inedible meal, clearly served me the dim sum they had sitting on the cart all day just popped it in the microwave the plate was hot while the radish cake was room temp and soggy, my chicken was sour as if it had been sitting in the walkin way too long, as a chef I would not recommend eating at this spot not just bland but spoiled and took zero care in preparing the food. Not surprised it was empty. Can't believe I wasted 25 dollars here couldn't finish a single dish.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is good. It's your typical large banquet style dining room. Condiment bottles at the table were not clean. And the bathroom is really really not clean. Not sure how restaurants get away with that

Yelp
Average food and freshness, but might be the best you can get in the Denver area, and it scratches the Asian food itch. Okay service. Traditional dim sum feels with dim sum cart The food was not as fresh as we would like in the shrimp dumplings and rice noodles. The soy sauce in the shrimp rice noodle is saltier than normal. The chicken feet is overdone Okay service. You get what you need if you wave the waiters / waitress down This place has the dim sum cart that waitresses push around for you to select food, so the dining experience feels homey.

Sandy K.

Yelp
Visiting Denver and came here 2 times in a week. Food and service was really good the first visit. Went again today, understand it's Mother's Day, it was really busy. The food was still really good, but the service was horrible. The waitresses were super rude, made very condescending comments that were unnecessary. One scolded us for not telling her our request all at once, after we waited for over 10 minutes for the dim sum carts. Another apparently, she didn't like the amount we left for tips and commented to each other as we walked by... 5 stars for the food , but 0 stars due to the waitresses.

Yelp
Another family gathering, another meal at SuperStar. This is a restaurant that has been serving Dim sum in the Denver area for sometime now. It has been our usual spot for a get together for our family for a long time. They offer a variety of Chinese Dim Sum items that one would expect from any good Dim Sum restaurant. The offers include shrimp dumplings (some of the best anywhere), sticky rice with stuffing in lotus leaves (a bit on the small side), tofu wraps, shrimp crepes, pork spareribs in black bean sauce, siu mai (an item that has been vastly improved from the previous owner), taro dumplings, turnip cakes, egg tarts, bbq pork buns, just to name a few. They also offer pan fried noodles with a variety of vegetables and meats that my wife always want to get. There might be other restaurants serving better Dim Sum in Denver, but only this place offers ample parking spaces due to it being situated in a shopping center. You never have to worry about not finding a parking space. And while waiting for a table, you can walk around an Asian supermarket nearby to get some fresh vegetables and fruits that might not be offered by your local King Soopers or Safeway. Give this place a try and you might like it. BTW, they are serving Hong Kong style Dim Sum so instead of offering items in a menu, they use push carts to wheel the delicacies around all the tables. This way you can ask for the items you like by pointing which for some people is much more convenient.

Yelp
This was my first experience at a dim sum place. I wish there was a little more explanation for what to order/ take off the carts because I had no clue! Thankfully, there was a nice gentleman sitting next to us who helped us and told us what to order. I thought we'd be able to order specific items but he said it's best to do the dim sum items that come out on the carts. Everything we got was very tasty and now I know what to expect for next time!

Shantel G.

Yelp
This place was absolutely by far the worst service I have experienced in my life. The food was good, that I have no issue, the server was rude and only gave the food never came back. the whole restaurant was empty so it's not like she was busy at all. it was overpriced and for myself and my 2 teens they charged us $30 over what that amount was supposed to be. we didn't even get glasses they gave us the red disposable cups to drink out of. and on the walk out the most disgusting evil hearted guy said we didn't leave them a tip. I said ok is tipping a requirement because you overcharged us. he said u have to tip us we served u. I said that's your job tho. he said don't ever come back your not allowed because u didnt tip me. I cannot believe those ignorant people there. I will pray for them and I pray for the lord to remove my negativity towards them.

Yelp
Im from Southern California so I have high Asian food standards but this is a solid and likely the best option for dim sum in Denver. I've been here twice with friends. Service was fine, totally what you'd expect from dim sum. It can get loud and overwhelming when the place fills up, but I've never had a problem waving down the carts that I wanted to order from. The best tip I have is: Get the salt and pepper tofu. It's SO good. After you've sufficiently stuffed yourself with dim sum, you can wander over to the Asian market next door and walk off some calories.

Yelp
This place is great. Never as packed as star kitchen. I like the dumplings they seem fresher. They don't have as many options to start kitchen. It takes awhile for the 2-3 carts to come around. Overall service & food is great easy parking!!
google avatar

Annette M.

Yelp
The place was so disgustingly dirty we walked out within a few minutes of being seated. If this is acceptable for the front of the house, imagine the kitchen. Stopped in on a busy July 4th after the line at our fav Star Kitchen was just too long. We'd been here some years ago and it was good so we headed over today. We walked past trash littering the outside sidewalk and overflowing trash can. Upon entering we see the restaurant floors have obviously not been vacuumed or cleaned in many days with crumbled napkins, food, and other debris all over the floor and it's only noon. No way this place was cleaned prior to opening. A server walks by with filthy pants. We are seated at a sticky table with food on the floor. We can see the dim sum at the table a foot from us that is swimming in grease. My appetite is completely gone. We get up and quickly exit. There is no way I could eat here and definitely will not be back.

Yelp
I just found S S A on my trip to Costco, what a great surprise. The dim sum served @ Super Star is stellar. Everything I ordered, shumai, hargow, chicken lollipops, fried dumplings, and sparerib bites in black bean sauce were fire... My food was served hot or sent back for a quick warm up by super efficient, and friendly servers that actually made you feel like they were there to help make your dining experience pleasurable, ( this is not the case at pretty much all the dim sum joints that I frequent in Philly, the food is good but that's about it)...What a nice atmosphere to eat in. S S A seems a little more pricey than other places that I go to (in Philly), but that will not deter me from making this place one of my favorite Denver dim sum destinations.

Yelp
We've been coming off and on for years and always come when we are in the area. We were just there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Tbh I'm a bit taken aback by what happened. My husband is Deaf and he was confused by the cost of something that we thought was on the trolly -- some bok choy -- and he thought it was more expensive than it ought to be because the portion was so small. The bill said the charge was for the kitchen, but he thought it was just a smaller size from the trolly, not a full sized dish. Since he is Deaf, he has a very expressive face and the person running the desk took offense to how he looked. I was interpreting for him, just repeating what my husband was saying, and the person we were dealing with just blew up and said "never come back." I feel frustrated because I was just interpreting and was remaining polite about it all. I never raised my voice. I wasn't at all angry. My husband just wanted to understand why it was more than he thought it would be and the conversation went from 0 to 100 in five seconds flat. They took the bok choy off our tab, which wasn't what we were wanting to have happen at all. We knew we had bok choy, but thought we had just a smaller sized portion, the one that comes off the trolley. We'll respect them and not come back, but I still feel like this could have handled differently. There was a huge langue barrier and something went wrong. Again, lovely restaurant, but if you are Deaf, I'd say don't come here -- unless there is some sort of sensitivity training for the staff. And if your customers are being respectful and just trying to figure out what happened, because they think there is a discrepancy, don't blow up at them. It was just very, very unprofessional. ** small update at the behest of my husband: the price they charged is for the bok choy was $12.50. My husband thought there was no way that was the correct price because the meat plates we had from the trolley were about $6.00 and the bok choy portions were about that size too. Maybe $8.00 at most. He thinks we were charged for the wrong size. That's why my husband was so adamant about the price and when the person running the front desk was unable to explain to us why the plate was so expensive, he just blew up and told us to never come back. He never showed us on the menu to explain the price.

Yelp
A good dim sum place in Denver area. Reasonably priced and great service. Ha Gaw (shrimp dumpling), Siumai (pork dumpling), and scallop dumplings are my favorites. My kids LOVE custard cream baos, BBQ pork baos (with steamed or baked), and all the dumplings above. Go early so you have more items to choose from. Traditionally eaten as brunch and if you go later than 1-2 pm, many things would be gone.

Yelp
Wonderful place to welcome in the Lunar New Year's Celebration! Great selection of dim sum. Always fun to pick from the carts, enjoy favorites and try something new. Family friendly. Attentive, friendly service with only a short wait for one of the most popular times of year.
google avatar

Jarred F.

Yelp
Dim Sum is classic, half prefrozen for the masses. Prices are outrageous. Will only visit on special occasion due to their choice to raise simple dumpling prices through the roof. We used to come monthly. No longer.
google avatar

Miatsu K.

Yelp
I took a large group of friends here today. I think we were 22 people. The staff sat us and handled our large group extremely well. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, hot and amazing. The selections are numerous and the ordering process is simple. I think our bill was nearly 600 dollars and that seemed extremely reasonable for so many people. I highly recommend this place and will certainly stop in again.
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
There does need to be more staff. It was crazy to see one person doing both to go orders and taking people to their seat, one person cleaning and refilling drinks and getting utensils, one person getting orders from the kitchen and essentially being the second hand for every job position. Staff does get angry and it does make the customer feel uncomfortable to hear their arguments and even more uncomfortable when you can understand them. Service needs to improve especially there should be more staff on the weekends at the very least.
google avatar

Ella L.

Yelp
Came in for dim sum breakfast. They have push cart, very nostalgic. If there's other stuff you want the kitchen can make for you. I thought the food was ok, nothing special. Not a bad choice for dim sum.
google avatar

Sophie S.

Yelp
It was our first time trying Super Star, and we were not disappointed! I got the chicken lo mien, which I would definitely get again. We also got the sesame chicken, which came with sauce on the side which was a bit of a bummer, but the sauce was still good none the less. I would definitely come back to try the dim sum, and I'm sure the food is even better in person!
google avatar

Lynn H.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the 3.5 star rating... secret is, when the score is low it also means that the place is actually really good haha. The dim sum was dim summing. Everything tasted delicious. My partner and I used to go grocery shopping once a month at Ocean Pacific grocery store and made a pitstop here for dim sum. Definitely had food coma and took a nap after this on a Sunday so you know it's good.
google avatar

Jesse W.

Yelp
What do you want? Dim sum or a hug? This place is authentic down to the service, which reminds me of living in China, (aka not great, almost humorously disinterested); but the food is great and that is why you are there. If you want to be catered to like a king and made to feel special by your servers, don't go.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
i wanted to like this place as it was recommended to me by a friend but i felt like it was pretty mediocre. maybe it's because we came in for dim sum for lunch on a friday, when there's less people and as a result they make less food. service was fine but one of the dishes we got (pork dumplings) definitely tasted like it was sitting out for a long time. we didn't even finish it because it was just that bad. kind of a bummer bc i saw from pictures that the restaurant could get pretty full, making me think the food would taste better since it's fresher. it was weird to me that they used red solo cups as water cups because it's really wasteful lol the other dishes we got were fine, nothing mind blowing to me. other than that, things seemed fairly priced. i just would recommend coming in on a weekend when it's potentially more crowded!
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
Our go-to for dim sum these days. We try to go to the other place, but the wait there is always crazy. At Super Star we can almost always get a table with little to no wait (weekends are crazy everywhere). Food here is good. Our regular order consists of siomai, har gao, baked bbq buns and chinese broccoli plus whatever else sounds good on a particular day. All are yummy here -- baked buns are often in high demand so sometimes there is a wait to get them, but that is usually the case at any dim sum place. Lately, like all other restaurants during this pandemic, they appear to be short staffed so often the person pushing one dim sum cart will leave to go grab orders from the kitchen or do other various tasks. So, as with dining out anywhere nowadays, have patience!
google avatar

Ivette D.

Yelp
Okay, so the food was delicious but the service was insulting. So if you're wondering why the rating is low when dim sum is so scarce in Denver, you can put your health and safety or flavor concerns to rest. The service is just bad. I would have had a better experience if I had read the reviews about the service and been prepared to be far more aggressive. Language barrier and cultural difference are likely a part of it and not just bad attitudes but regardless, it makes for a frustrating experience. So 1. Cart ladies are inconsistent. They do not offer everyone the same options. People all around us were getting items we had not been offered. I asked for a shrimp dumpling because I saw them serving it to the table next to me and and they said, "No, later." Later, when they offered a fried shrimp ball I tried differently, "I want a steam shrimp ball," and they laughed. Then later once again when other people were getting the shrimp dumplings and I asked for shrimp dumpling and they said, "No, later," I asked the new couple sitting next to us who had been served my coveted shrimp what it was called (Thinking maybe it wasn't even shrimp after all and the joke was on me.) And my neighbor said, "It's a shrimp dumpling." Needless to say, I never got my "shrimp dumplings." 2. Cart ladies at times don't even want to show you what's in the steam baskets. Example: lady parks cart in front of our table and stares at us. Me: what is it? Her: waves at steam baskets Me: what is inside ? Her: Reluctantly opens the baskets Me: what are they? Beef ? Pork? Her: Loosely describes things I didn't want. Me: Okay, no thank you Her: You just say, "No no no" Me: Thats how this works - You offer me items and if I want them, I say, "Yes," and if I don't, I say, "No." It was petty. I shouldn't have said anything back. My bad. I enjoyed what I did get to eat. The following were very delicious. Pork siu mai - open face dumplings Guortie - Pork Potstickers Gai Mei Bao - Coconut Buns Lo Mai Gai -Sticky Rice wrapped in lotus leaf Oh and the Chile oil is deceptive - it's not that hot and very flavorful. Don't be afraid to go big. Food I wanted to enjoy by wasn't offered : Chinese Broccoli Fried Rice Sesame Balls And what research has now revealed the shrimp I wanted was Har Gow, *crystal* shrimp dumplings. Crystal, I guess being the operative word. I will be trying out the other dim sum spots in town when I am craving Dim Sum next, but otherwise I'll return armed with a Dim Sum Glossary, a steam basket full of boldness and an extra serving of patience.
google avatar

Vivian C.

Yelp
Not the worst I've ever had, but far from being the greatest. I don't expect good service in dim sum places, but even the places with bad service would still stop by every table to try to sell their food items. However, barely anyone stopped by in the corner where we were sitting, and we were lucky to have sat next to a table who would passionately flag the carts down otherwise we would get absolutely no service at all. It's one of those places where you'd have to walk all the way up to the counter to pay for your stuff because otherwise it's impossible to get their attention to ask for the check. The food itself was a hit or miss. Some food tasted fresh and flavorful. Others tasted like it was sitting on the cart for hours because it tasted cold and bland. A very meh experience with meh quality dim sum. I'd rather try other places.
google avatar

Matthew L.

Yelp
This was our second experience here. While they don't have many carts the ones they have are stacked high & ready to serve. The steamed pork bun, har gao, shu mai, soup dumplings, etc were all delicious. While I'm not used to spending over $100 on dim sum, I don't get it often right so it's worth it when I do get to have it. They are busy but not packed. We had no wait at 11:30am on a Sunday.

Yelp
Good place for dim sum (with so.e improvementsrequired). Atmosphere is good. Food was of high quality, fresh and delicious! But service needs improvement. Let me elaborate on that here. Servers were friendly BUT there were only three dim sum carts in the whole place. Other dim sum restaurants such as Star Kitchen and Emperor's (on 120th Ave) have at least 6-8 carts at any given weekend circling the restaurant! And those three carts were mostly circulating on the right-hand side of the restaurant. They hardly ever made it to the left-hand side of the restaurant. Patrons where we were sitting at were frustrated. Servers realized that fact and did their best to accommodate the patrons on the side were were sitting at. This needs to improve. Have more carts and more variety please.
google avatar

Jesse B.

Yelp
Be ready to wait on the weekends as Super Star is popular and worth it. The pork buns are amazing as is the egg custard, fried shrimp ball on sugarcane and The servers are really nice. Every time you choose something they stamp a card on your table. It's bingo but without knowing the cost of anything. Typically you spend $20-30/person depending on how many items you order. I typically steer clear of chicken feet and some of the other traditional items. Many people love it but it's not my jam.

Yelp
For those who don't know, an Asian restaurant with 3.5 or somewhere in between 3 and 4 is the best of the best authentic Asian food restaurant. While the service can appear very lacking the food is absolutely amazing. Don't let the idea poor service keep you from visiting this establishment, truly the service isn't very lacking based on Chinese culture as the way they serve is very traditional. High time is going to be around 10am on the weekends and probably honestly one of the best times to go. They have a large number of tables that are able to accommodate most any number of guests from as little as 1 to as big as 50. For large groups 8+ I would recommend calling ahead to see how busy it is and also coming as early as possible to reserve your table for your party. The highlight of their menu is their various and vast selection of dim sum dishes. Best to be enjoyed with groups as you can typically order more and try more than with smaller groups. Dishes typically come with 3-4 pieces per plate. As an added bonus, if you need to be wait for a table or want to go for a walk after your glorious meal there is an authentic Asian market right next door with anything and everything you could ever think of being in a foreign grocery store plus far more than you thought possible. Obviously if you've been in a Chinese grocery store you know what I'm talking about and it most definitely lives up and possibly surpasses your expectations. Next time you're around the area or hosting a large party for celebration definitely check this place out. On top of all this the price is very affordable. You can easily feed a party of 4 for under $10 a person!

Yelp
Monday morning dim sum at 11:30 and we were the only ones there until others trickled in slowly. Little bamboo trays were stacked on carts ready to go. I definitely felt it was a challenge ordering as I'm limited to English. I don't know why no one mentioned a menu, hahaha, yes - this is halfway into the experience. Water in silo cups and tea brought to the table as we were seated. Plastic plates, and help yourself to soy sauce. The bottle could have used some cleaning as it was grimy and sticky. Everything we had was decent. One of the determining factors of any good dumpling in my book is the thickness of the dough. If it's not thick like tortellini, then you've passed my test. The chicken feet was a little underdone. We ordered some takeout salt and pepper fish. The fish portion size was more like fish fingers. Not a show stopper but certainly not pieces if you're expecting that. All in all, good. Hate to say, good for Colorado, but that's reality at this time.

Yelp
Traditional dim sum with no nonsense service. Wheeling carts with multiple dumpling and noodle choices going around. We had pork buns, several types of shrimp, pork dumplings, noodles and some sticky rice with meat wrapped in a leaf. Great experience!

Yelp
The food is pretty good but the service was lacking. I went here with my mom to quench some dimsum cravings. Despite us being the only two customers in the whole restaurant, it was difficult to make any order because no one came up to help us. Once we got their attention, my mom asked if they had any lemons, and the lady kept on walking to the back and only answered "no" when her back was turned to us.

Yelp
These people are SO RUDE!!!!! I can't believe how unkind they are! I ordered BEEF AND BROCCOLI, they gave me my food and said "there now leave" that was just really not such a great way to treat your customers. Then I go all the way home with JUST broccoli!!!!!! I had to drive all the way back and then they wanted to blame it on me and didn't just exchange it! Made me pay extra for it!!!! They are unreasonable and unwelcoming! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The food is okay but the people are service was horrible! Let me mention that the first time I went there they gave me white rice with my meal! This time they didn't want to! It's so horrible for others to treat anyone like this no matter who you or they are! You never know what they person is going through or what they might feel after treating someone unkind, please be kind to people! There's so many people that need kindness to just keep them going!

Yelp
So we may have gone overboard ordering all this food for two people, but y'all, it definitely hit the spot. Excellent quality, even for to go order. We got all our favorites and then some: - Siu mai or pork and shrimp dumplings - Har gow, shrimp dumpling - Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce - chicken feet with black bean sauce - steamed pork buns - sticky rice - chow fun (shrimp and char Siu) - deep fried shrimp balls (my personal favorite) - fried shrimp with mayo Awesome packaging so it made it home safely! I appreciate them not forgetting any of the sauces, including the chili oil. I honestly like this place more than Star Kitchen, so give it a go and help support your local businesses! Quarantine 15 (lbs) here I come!

Yelp
On par with Star Kitchen. I'll need to visit during their prime dim sum hours to complete my assessment. But from what I've had so far the menu is top of the pyramid. In Denver. In NYC this is an average place. What I've had so far; Wor wonton soup Beef chow fun Fried flounder (whole) Garlic stir fry bok choy Peking pork chop The bok choy and pork chop are a marriage made in heaven. Stronger than Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. That's how good that combo is. No chinese broccoli though so that's a bummer. But the menu looks great and can't wait to try more items. Should be a blast...

Yelp
Great abundant food; great wait staff! Went for Lunar New Year's! Be clear on what you want--they had plates continually appearing. YUM

Yelp
SSAC came highly recommended. We tried to go there last time but the wait was too long (which I'd say is a good sign). Upon entering we were immediately seated and offered tea/water. The servers were very kind and professional. I was born and raised in SanFrancisco and know hood dimsum...I commented to one of the owners on how amazing the dimsum was, just to find out that the chef is from SF and had his own dim sum restaurant in Chinatown!! Highly highly recommend this place for all you dim sum lovers!!!

Yelp
Seems to be going down hill, paper plates, paper tablecloth, plastic cups, generally dingy feeling. Rices are high, food is greasy, just not a good experience. I hope when Covid is gone, they will recover.
