"There’s a lot we like about the Battery’s Superica. For one, the lengthy bar is generally a vibe. Two, the spiked slushie of the day never disappoints. And three, the versatile menu has options for when we’re super hungry (the grilled steak- and double enchilada-plated Tampiqueña) or just feel like snacking (Campechana de Mariscos is what shrimp cocktail dreams to be one day). We’ll just call the chicken Tacos Al Carbon a filling entrée that deliciously falls somewhere in between. " - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford

"Ford Fry’s The El Felix taco truck at Battery Atlanta is a 1947 Raymond Lowey-inspired taco truck built into the restaurant’s design by Smith Hanes Studio. A garage space houses the stationary, old-timey taco truck that will be doling out to-go nachos, steak and chicken tacos al carbon, hot tamales, and margaritas throughout the baseball season. The truck incorporates graphic design elements from Atlanta-based Office of Brothers, Inc and is one of the restaurant's colorful accents." - Beth McKibben

This was me and my husband’s 1st time visiting Superica at the Battery on 7/15/2022. We ordered the flautas as an appetizer and I ordered the taco dinner. Top notch service, atmosphere, good! The hostess were so prompt, courteous, and respectful. Marcelle was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing!!!! He was very attentive with our needs, knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions when needed. I’d advise anyone if they go to request him. He’s awesome! The manager is so friendly, respectful, checked on us twice. Great 1st time experience. We’ll definitely be back

I ate here recently and Tori was my server. This was the first time I’ve eaten here and Tori made some wonderful recommendations that I truly loved. The avocado tomatillo salsa is probably the best salsa I’ve ever had!

Visited this Superica for the first time Super Bowl Sunday night. Mainly because everywhere else was full. Sat at the bar and the bartender was sweet. It was packed but not busy. I got a cocktail/beer drink and cheese nachos. My friend got the same but got the pork belly. She was really excited about the pork belly. The dishes were…okay. Nothing exciting. Lacked sauce so more on the dry side. The pricing of things doesn’t match the quality of the products. Not my fav place. But it’s a clean spot and chill vibes.

I enjoyed everywhere! From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food! Sara, our waitress made our experience phenomenal. She recommended us cocktails and food and she asserted everything. I personally recommend the Enchiladas Verdes with Black Beans. Combine it with a Tommy Margarita and add Grand Marnier to it. You will not be disappointed.

Great Tex Mex! Wife and I had a date night and they knocked it out of the park. The chips and salsa were amazing start and the guac was supper fresh. Tried the habanero margarita and the Rico style was a good menu secret. Try to find it and just order with the skirt steak!

Love the food at Superica! We’ve been coming here since it had a different name and never had a bad meal. Great assortment of tequila; Casamigos is probably my favorite. Try the Tacos el Carbon and thank me later. It does get crazy busy pretty often leading to long wait times, but it’s worth it.

Came here to eat Mexican food and had pancakes instead! These things were big enough for a small pizza box! The syrup is super delicious! It taste like the maple sauce that they used to serve on blondies from Applebee's. You've gotta try this place it at least once.

Amazing!!!!! This food was by far the best that I’ve had. It’s a great place for a date, in which my Girlfriend love as well. The food was hot, well prepared and the steak fajitas where the best I had. Please check out this place if you’re in the area, and I’d say it’s worth the 1hr drive as well!

Yelp
Had a terrible experience a few years ago, gave them another try, terrible experience again. This time we ordered to go food on a Friday night. We got the mixed fajitas for two, and when we got home, realized they gave us meat for one and no tortillas. So I called and they said they refunded the money. We never got the refund. Food was subpar, even if we got everything we paid for. Always check your order before you leave. That's on us. Never trust that they are going to get it correct.

Yelp
This location is in the Battery, so it was fairly busy for a weekday but we got seated right away, and our server was attentive throughout the meal. However, the food took a while to come out, and the waitress did apologize for the kitchen being backed up. The food itself was overall good. Queso was solid, chicken tacos were top notch, my only complaint was the beans were a bit salty for me. The vibes inside fit the food, with a tex-mex feel, a little nicer for mexican but nothing fancy by any means.

Yelp
I love the food here. This is a go to for my family. Unfortunately we had a bad prior experience at another location that made me reconsider my experience vs the great food. It was almost a similar situation yesterday when we walked in as the new hostess did not seat us in a timely manner. However the manager, Lauren already took great care of us and provided us wonderful service along with our waiter. They turned our negative experience into a positive one and invited us back to dine again. I just wanted to say thank you! Everyone please try the guacamole and the mango pineapple agua fresca it was delicious. My go to entree is the salad with the grilled shrimp. You can't go wrong! My son can eat the rice and beans for days! Enjoy!

Yelp
I haven't been to this superica in such a long time! We were headed to the battery for a concert and knew we had to get dinner beforehand! We saw superica had a super convenient wait list! You have to check in with host but it def helped us get seated! My bf got me a margarita at the cutie little outdoor bus while we waited and oooo man it was strong the gals were so sweet! Honestly everyone was the hosts, one wished my bf congrats on his job promotion bc I put it in the what are we celebrating section of the waitlist lol! And it really made the difference! It was the first time in a bit we really felt the special feeling of going out and getting good service! Our waitress mallory was absolutely the best! I got a spicy margarita and then we got FREE chips and yummy yummy salsa! It was so good! I got the al pastor tacos and one barbacoa and it was so filling! Such a great price! My bf got the al pastor! It came with fixings of cheese lettuce tomatoes and beans! We were so full after and so happy! Thank you everyone for making our date night so fun and again shoutout to mallory!!

Yelp
Great restaurant! It was super packed on a thursday night (I think there was an event going on at the battery at the time we went though) but the restaurant is pretty large and the wait was not long at all. The servers were also really nice! I love a Mexican restaurant that gives chips and salsa for free. You are given two different types of salsa and I will say they weren't my favorite, but that's personal preference. I got the barbacoa tacos and they were delicious! I think the barbacoa wasn't salty enough but I'd rather that than too salty because I can always add more salt myself. Overall, great restaurant and definitely would recommend !

Ray I.

Yelp
Great place to snag a spot at the bar if you can get there early enough before a game. Varying salsas are tasty and they do a decent pour for the drinks. Bar service is far better than the general seating service, so if you can, get there a little early to snag a spot at the bar.

Michel S.

Yelp
This place it is just UHMAZING! I love the two flavors of the salsas and how efficient the service is. The staff is very friendly and they are on top of it. The restaurant is always busy and they manage to keep up. I had their fajita for the first time and the flavor ! Lots of quality food for sure. The restaurant is busy and you need to be patient if you go on game day.

Rochelle W.

Yelp
Great food and service Lots of vegetarian options and great seating Great place to people watch at the Battery I'm not a huge Tequila drinker but I was able to experience a smoky tequila cocktail that changed my life........

Melissa P.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, was well taken care of by service. Place is clean and music is perfect but a little loud when crowded. Food was delicious. I opted for quesadillas and my hubby got the street tacos. Great place for lunch and great serving sizes but a little much for me to eat so taking home leftovers! Oh and the queso for appetizers was a hit as well!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Honestly - for a place next to a baseball stadium I was expecting this place to be a lot more mediocre than it was. We walked in on a Tuesday evening at 6PM with no reservation. There was no game at Truist the night we went (mid-March). When we arrived the covered "outside" dining area was empty (it was a bit chilly) but the inside was almost completely full. I was surprised we were seated immediately with no reservation. We were served chips/salsa and waters within minutes of being seated and our waiter was on top of his game. He had great food & drink recommendations. I'm not usually a fan of chips and salsa at restaurants because quite frankly they are usually pretty bland but this was not the case here! The chips were freshly fried and the salsas were tasty! We were given two - a spicer more traditional salsa and an avocado based salsa. I had the tommy margarita (their version of a "skinny" marg), the sopa tortilla as an app, and I split the chicken fajitas. The sopa tortilla was a huge bowl and honestly one of the best tortilla soups I've had in a while. There was plenty of big chunks of juicy and tender chicken in the soup. The fajitas are a huge heaping portion and easily split by 2 people. We ordered the 8oz portion. They come with all of the traditional fixings. The one thing I wish is that the poblano pepper served with the chicken/onions had been served cut up. It came as a whole pepper and I personally prefer not having to cut my peppers while I'm eating. Overall would recommend coming here if you're in the are and in the mood for tex-mex.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to come here after visiting the holiday pop up for a good chat and some margaritas. Our bartender was so off. We asked what he recommended and literally gave us one option and walked away but was super attentive to everyone else at the bar. We asked for chips twice and he never checked on us to ask how our food was or if we wanted another round...and we ate AT THE BAR so he was in front of us or near us most of the time. We ate there because we were starving but I'll never come back to this location. I've been to other locations and they were so nice and inviting but this guy turned us off.

Claire H.

Yelp
Coming here during a game day is very busy, but somehow I found a spot by the bar. The bartenders are super nice, makes sure your drink is always full, and that you're enjoying the food. After hearing many good reviews, I finally got to try here. I got some queso with chips and salsa, and the barbacoa tacos and taco dinner with beef and chicken. Food didn't take too long, which was perfect and on time for the game. Food was flavorful, filling, and just an experience I would go back for. The price is slightly high, but it's worth for the experience and the taste you will get! I highly recommend, especially if you're there for the game!!

Anissa C.

Yelp
I throughly enjoyed my husband's food! He ordered the beef nachos! They were unbelievably good! Nice cheesy and beefy!! Unfortunately my shrimp tacos were missing the SHRIMP! When I took the first bite, I noticed I didn't taste shrimp, I opened it up! There was only two small pieces of minced shrimp! The slaw that is placed on top of the tacos is very tasty! It was good! But no SHRIMP!!! Please add more STRIMP!! This would be my fav dish!! The chips and salsa are worth GOLD!! Soooo good! The service was outstanding! Our server was super nice and helpful! The ambiance is nice and modern. There's a huge window that I enjoyed watching people was they walk by! I loved it.

Yelp
Superica never disappoints. I prefer the one in Krog City Market (the flavors hit better) but this one is good too. The salsas are delicious and a little closer to what we're used to coming from Arizona. The drinks are also reasonably priced and don't miss. This time, I had a ginger margarita, which I enjoyed. The ginger flavor was just right and not overpowering. I usually get the Chicken Verde and need to branch out. Well, I did but only a bit. I chose the Chicken Suiza, which the waitress suggested as it has a cream based sauce. Both dishes are good. I like sitting in the patio area that faces outside so that we can people watch. Superica remains one of my top choices for Mexican in Atlanta.

Nikole M.

Yelp
My husband and I live here at The Battery and Superica has become one of our staples when we don't feel like cooking. Two things that stand out about them: 1) the fresh homemade tortillas 2) the wood fire grill cooking. We come here at least twice a month (for the past year) and the food has always been consistent and delicious. My only sadness is that they took away the avocado crema sauce (bring it back please!) it paired perfectly with... everything. They have a fantastic selection of mezcal and tequila, and you can expect phenomenal margaritas. It is also first come first serve, you can't make a reservation ahead of time. So on game days, definitely expect a wait. They will validate your parking however (on game days) as long as your bill is over 50$.

Laura S.

Yelp
My visit to Superica was adequate. I sat at the bar and had very attentive service from everyone working behind the bar, and things were bustling. I ordered an O.G. margarita, which was decent. Complementary chips and salsa were brought out to me and those were very enjoyable. The chips were light, thin and crunchy, and both salsas were flavorful. I ordered the tacos de camarones for my entree and they were fine. The shrimp was a bit dry and tough, and there was A LOT of finely shredded cabbage. The sauce on the tacos was very good. Not sure I'd make a special trip to return with all of the other dining options in the area.

Missy Poo J.

Yelp
Lee was our server and he was simply amazing!!! He went above and beyond for me and my friend. Brought a small sample of jalapeño dip and the frozen margarita of the day. The drinks were good. The food is kinda basic. They put a twist on Mexican food. Like their pickled jalapeños had carrots and onions in them. They have several salsas that they bring out. The fajitas don't have bell peppers. So different than you expect but in a good way. The chips were good as well. Light and crispy with the right amount of saltiness. This was such a cool day to hang out on a weekday and just enjoy the Battery instead of going to a game. They open for dinner at 5pm so that was different too. Overall, it was kinda pricey. I spent $112 for 2 people with a 20 dollar tip. I highly recommend and will be back soon.

Bill A.

Yelp
Started with Skinny Margarita, I must say it was one of the better skinny rita's i have had. Latoya was our server and she was great. She had a sense of humor and interacted well with us. We started with guacamole for the table. It was good, the only feedback is that the avocados were really chunky throughout. The shrimp tacos were very tasty. The cabbage with their sriracha mayo mixed in with the shrimp and salsa was a spicy treat. The restaurant was packed which should be expected ate the battery on a Friday night but we were still seated quickly.

Ariel U.

Yelp
Boy do I love mexican food. I had been to Superica a hand full of times while I lived in Atlanta, but this was my first trip back. On this visit I was solo, so I sat at the bar. I ordered queso and some chicken nachos with a spicy margarita. Let me tell you, everything was divine. I was glad I decided to treat myself. The nachos came out plated as about 8 individually topped nachos with sour cream, guac and jalapeños. I asked for some grilled onions to add a little zing to my order. I topped these nachos with the good and dipped them in the queso. Sensational combination! The swrvice was attentive, the drink did the trick and their hot sauce was tasty. I will be sure to stop in when I make my next trip to the ATL. Thanks for the great time!

Yelp
Went to Superica at the Battery on Sunday to sit at the bar and watch NBA finals. I enjoyed sitting at the bar eating my chips and the green salsa . Jordan the bartender service was top notch. He made me a special birthday drink .

Nisha T.

Yelp
Me and my Kristian tried this spot on a whim while out trying to find something to eat. We both tried the chicken quesadilla, queso, refried beans and nice. It was so freaking good; everything was amazing! I'm so glad we decided to stop in! I will be back and you must try it. It's really nice inside with plenty of seating. The service was nothing short of spectacular!

Mark G.

Yelp
We love Superica. It is amazing TexMex. Brings back memories of home. We had the guacamole appetizer. It is very good. Nice large chunks of avocado. Very fresh. They have their own chips served that are super crunchy. My wife had the tortilla soup. It was just ok. There was something off with the broth. It looked like it should be so good, but it was just warm salt water. ‍ We also ordered the Tacos al carbon, steak. Really good. Tasty flour tortillas and steak. Ordered medium rare came medium well, but it was still good. I always order a putty cheese tostada. Incredibly good. Puffy fried tortilla covered in cheese. A+. The atmosphere is fun and the service is slow, but not too slow. I knocked off a star for the soup and the temp of the restaurant. They have the a/c blowing on full blast when in is 45 degrees outside. Literally Arctic air is constantly blowing on you the entire meal. I asked for it to be adjusted as was told that it can't. Just have to deal with it. By the time we left I felt like my fingers had frost bite. Will try again in the summer. Will be nice to have jet steam a/c then.

Gelene J.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late dinner and got an unexpected surprise. We had a party of four and our wait time was about 10 minutes. Our server was attentive, but not annoying. Each table gets a starter bowl of chips and salsa, the salsa had just enough spice and they also gave us a green liquid that wasn't half bad either. Superica had a very family, friendly vibe and great views of the game. The food is what it's described as Tex-Mex with pretty large portions. We ordered the chicken Verde enchilada, and chicken fajita quesadilla plate. If you're indecisive about what to eat at the Battery, this restaurant won't disappoint.

Kortney W.

Yelp
Pancakes. Get. The. Pancakes. !!! Can't wait to come back here for brunch. We enjoyed our meals, the service, and the overall vibe of Superics.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Delicious food and margaritas! They are one of the few places in Atlanta that have Texas nachos! If you've never had them I highly recommend the chicken. You won't be disappointed!

Anwar J.

Yelp
Love, Love, Love Superica's Sunday Brunch!!!! The steak and eggs, is a must have!!!!! The butter dipping sauce that comes with that succulent steak, and the well scrambled eggs is the best!!!!! Also the pancakes are a must have!!!! They're the size of a 16 inch pizza, and don't forget to ask for extra syrup, trust me, you'll thank me later!!!!

Brandon M.

Yelp
My first and hopefully only review ever. The fact that I'm writing this now speaks to how terrible our service was. I was with my wife and 3 other friends wanting to get dinner. Our waitress took our food/drink orders and went away. Later she came back and stated that she could not serve my wife as if she was too drunk. My wife was completely sober. I asked for the manager and of course got a complete refund, but our night was just ruined. My wife is asking herself "what did I do wrong?" When in fact, the waitress obviously had a terrible day and was completely in the wrong. Please do not eat in this restaurant. There are other great places at the battery who treat customers with respect, and can adequately staff their restaurants.

Ac C.

Yelp
I would place zero (0) star but it's not possible. Why does Yelp not have a zero star? This restaurant is horrible. Refried beans are similar to my childhood baby food. The $35 catfish was hideous. I'm unsure why they are in business. Avoid this restaurant and save yourself from on disappointment

Staci D.

Yelp
We came in here after a not great experience at another restaurant in the Battery and we could not have been happier. The salsa and queso were so good. My daughter was obsessed with the guacamole. I had a pomegranate margarita and it was fabulous. Every employee we encountered was SO nice from the hostess to the bartender to the waiter - they were all fabulous. Ambiance was great. Chicken fajita quesadilla was so good. We will definitely be back!

Susy H.

Yelp
Great service by Teddy! Had the roast chicken and Cava sparkling wine delicious! Great atmosphere when you're in the battery!

Rob P.

Yelp
Always wonderful. Steak Tampequena is excellent. A little on the $$ side, but worth it Love the fresh chips too.

Yo S.

Yelp
This place was surprisingly delicious and the service was amazing. We sat at the bar; it was game day and the wait time was 2hours. Our bar tender/server, Sheba was beyond amazing. She was so nice and accommodating, and it was a lot going on. The restaurant has a nice amount of seating and the decor was simple and cute. Our food was so good, even the leftovers the next day were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Khalilah A.

Yelp
Stopped in with a friend for a quick bite, on a week night. We were seated quickly. Our server was nice. We ordered Queso Fundido & Steak Fajita Tacos & drinks. Our server made the most delicious blackberry Margarita or something like that.

Bri J.

Yelp
Came in after our Braves stadium tour and this place did not disappoint. Enjoyed some nachos, my friend had a beer, and I has some horchata. Service was friendly, and we enjoyed people watching from our table. Would definitely go back!!

Ivana S.

Yelp
This place is good and we came with some friends! The time it took to place orders and receive were fast so that's great. Chicken fajita quesadilla only had chicken in it no veggies even though we asked the waiter and she said yes. A little disappointing but it was still good! The shrimp tacos were delicious and we got the jalepeno sausage that was juicy the shrimp tacos had a sauce on them that was a little spicy. I understand that superica is at the battery so they can charge a lot but $20 for two tacos is a little much for the quality rexeieved. I think next time going out of the battery would be more affordable with quality!

Trent H.

Yelp
Wow, I was expecting a little better than average Tex-Mex food but this exceeded my expectations by a mile. They brought out 3 or 4 salsas. The avocado salsa was so good. Haven't had anything like that anywhere else. I ordered the Suizas Enchiladas and the chicken was so juicy. No idea how they did it. Seasoning was perfect as well. Can't wait to go back!

Alex V.

Yelp
Overall, Mexican cuisine is not my first choice, but Superica was highly recommended by a local colleague, and it didn't disappoint. Chicken Verde Enchiladas did hit the spot and was exactly what was needed for a perfect dinner. Seems like it's a super popular place with 20-30 min wait on a Tuesday night. Now I can highly recommend it to you guys.

Lorelei W.

Yelp
The food was really fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. The noise level was very high. There were just 5 of us, and between the music and noise, we couldn't hold a conversation. Granted, it was lunchtime. However, one person couldn't hear our conversations . I live thr area and the outdoor seating seems nice. I would definitely return .

Brad L.

Yelp
My first meal in ATL PLACE WAS GREAT. Mike was a great server. My fajitas were excellent love the chips and salsa. I will definitely be back.

Ryan A.

Yelp
I sent the below to Superica's email about a week ago and never heard back. Guess I'll publicly post it here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. My group ran into an issue while attempting to dine at Superica at The Battery last Friday, July 19th. We approached the hostess around 5 PM and asked if we could put our name on the list. We were a party of 5 plus 1 toddler, so 6 people in total. We were told that the wait was 45 minutes, and we'd be texted when our table was ready. No problem. We waited for our table, and 45 minutes went by with still no text. We followed up with the hostess, and she apologized and said the wait would likely be another 30 to 45 minutes. Again, no big deal. It had started to rain, so there were probably people inside waiting out the rain. We waited right outside the restaurant and followed up with the hostess a few more times while waiting, just to check our place in line. Now, for the tricky part. I received a text that our table was ready and we had five minutes to get back to the restaurant and be seated. As I mentioned, it had been raining pretty badly, and I had my 2-year-old daughter with me, so I was occupied with keeping her busy and dry. I noticed the text about 7 minutes after it was sent, so I rushed right inside (I was standing just outside the restaurant) and approached a new host. He could not find my name because it had been taken off the list for being 2 minutes late. I asked him what had happened to the table that was ready. We were only 2 minutes late, so how could it possibly have been taken? He said he couldn't help. Next, I asked what happened to our name. Were we just bumped down the list? Nope. Not only were our names removed entirely, but we were also completely removed from the list. If we wanted to get back on the list, we'd have to be placed at the bottom. I understand that people put their names on the list all the time and never show up, but you have to keep the line moving. But for being 2 minutes late? And only given 5 minutes to respond? After continuously checking in with the hostess throughout the entire process? I will no longer be eating at this location. I've been repeatedly disappointed with the level of service at this restaurant in the past, but I've never said anything. That night was the final straw for me. Thank you, and I hope you have a good day. That was the end of the email. Food is fine and I can make a better margarita at home.

Allegra W.

Yelp
It's actually pretty decent chain Mexican food. It's consistent, the service is decent. I go on occasion; you won't be disappointed.

Lauren S.

Yelp
We stopped in before a game on a Friday. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were delicious! I had a jalapeño margarita and vegetable enchiladas. But even better than the food was the service. From the hosts to the food runners, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our server Jordan went above and beyond for our table multiple times and truly took our experience from really good to exceptional. This will be our new game day spot!

Anna J.

Yelp
Superica is one of those places I always go to because it's an easy Mexican restaurant that all my friends love. That's not to say I don't love it, I just find the food mid for the price. Either way... We came to this Superica before a Braves game and for 3 people we were seated within 15 minutes. After sitting, we always order some drinks as well as chips and queso which are always delicious! For the entree, this time I tried the chicken quesadilla and it was definitely one of the better things I've had from the menu! But it all goes back to extremely mid for the price. Service was fine and food was good just wish it was more reasonable! This is a good place tho for some pre baseball food.

Sherry U.

Yelp
Great Tex-Mex! Service always amazing. Chips/salsa delicious and menu is expansive. Outside seating if inside is too loud.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Tex-mex is always a crowd favorite, so I chose Superica (at The Battery) for a recent business lunch. There were nine people in our group. In hindsight, I wish I had picked another place. Here's why... No option for reservations. I had to arrive at opening to grab us a table on a weekday. I can understand no reservations when the Braves are playing at home, but that's the policy 365. Loud! So loud! It was hard for us to hear one another, which isn't ideal at a business lunch. Lukewarm food. Nothing arrived hot and one guest received the wrong meal. We just made due with no complaints. It did affect my overall rating along with the other disappointments. I love Ford Fry restaurants, but this one isn't nearly as impressive as his others. It is entirely average.

Yelp
Great food! Great atmosphere! Very friendly staff! Just avoid if there is a Braves game, unless you have 2-3 hours to wait. Maybe put your name in and shop for an hour or two?

Yelp
Dined here during the Braves home opener with 2 friends. We were seated on the patio by request so we could people watch and feel the energy of the battery street strollers. I opted for a frozen marg with blackberry and they had traditional rocks margs, all with tajin rim. My frozen was good, but the blackberry was barely noted. It was lackluster-ly (it's a word now) sprinkled on top, about 2 top. More would have definitely enhanced it. Their margs were strong and refreshing. For apps we had their in house made salsa which is ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS! The queso is made with yellow american cheese, but has a good flavor. Congeals a tad fast. For entrees my friend has the flautas and a single taco. It looked appealing but I didn't try it, she didn't seem to care for it. I'd come back for the atmosphere and more drinks.

Yelp
i like coming to this location because if there isnt a game that night then there normally isnt a wait. the inside is very spacious with tons of tables. we started with chips, guac, and queso. everyone got their own entree. i had the vegetable fajitas. love that they serve these with black beans.

Yelp
We had a party of 13 and were told it would be a 45-60 minute wait. After an hour went by, we were told it would be soon and they were waiting for a big party to leave; the people "had to-go boxes and were leaving soon." After an hour and a half, we were told "they were about to push tables together." After almost two hours of waiting, the staff was finally clearing the big tables BUT tore them down into two small tables. When I asked why they took our tables down, the hostess said she didn't know - that maybe they needed to sweep and we might have a different area now. Ten more minutes went by and the male host came back; after questioning him about the tables (since he repeatedly told us those were the tables we were waiting on), he finally got more staff to set the tables back up for us. (And no one ever swept, so the floors were super messy and sticky.) We also had to ask them to add another small table b/c there wasn't enough space. The host claimed he would have appetizers sent to the tables, but nothing ever came other than the free chips and salsa. The server was fine, but wasn't friendly at all. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food. It was average food and drinks; you're paying to eat at The Battery. We will not be back and it was an extremely disappointing 4 hour saga for a 40th birthday celebration. It was NOT a game night for the Braves and it wasn't super busy. No one ever apologized for the situation!!! For future reference, an apology goes a long way. "I'm sorry we underestimated the wait time. It's hard for us to serve large parties, etc." Any statement along that line would have been nice to hear.
