I booked a reservation online for my birthday and got to enjoy some amazing food with large portions. Service: amazing!!! Everyone who served us took the time to explain the food, recommended how to cook, and provided wonderful conversation throughout the meal. I also adored the personalized sign to welcome the reserved group to their table. It’s not something I’ve seen many other places do, but it made all the difference in my experience! I also loved the Kpop Christmas songs. Very chill and helped with ambiance. Food: we did the Korean bbq and loved the cuts of meat used. It felt more elevated than other experiences I’ve had at Korean bbq in miami, Tampa, Chicago and other cities I’ve traveled to. The banchan was good, on the milder side than I am used to but it worked out perfectly for my group that cannot handle spice. I found out this restaurant because Ateez visited and what stood out for me is that the three members who visited day 1 chose to come back the next day. That’s the main part I want to emphasize is that this is a restaurant you will want to come back to.

We’re from New Jersey and are very picky eaters, and we almost never write reviews, but this place really impressed us. We were asked to wait 20 minutes, but were seated within 15, which was a great start. The banchan, fish cake, radish kimchi, salad (omg the dressing with olive oil!!!), and peanuts tasted homemade. I cook Korean food myself, so I know how much time goes into making them properly. Many restaurants cut corners, but these clearly didn’t. The prime ribeye was excellent. It was very flavorful, well-marbled, and $45 felt very reasonable. The LA galbi was thick-cut with great marbling. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Hospitality was one of the best we’ve experienced. Many Asian restaurants struggle to match Western standards of service, but this place absolutely delivered friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere make this restaurant stand out. We’ve had Korean food in NYC/NJ/LA and elsewhere, and this place definitely holds its own. We’ll be back for sure.

Google
We ordered two servings of “Prime” ribeye, steamed egg, and one cold buckwheat noodle dish. Despite there being only three tables occupied, it took quite a long time for the food to come out. - The noodles were clumped together, difficult to separate, and tasted very bland. - The steamed egg wasn’t puffy or soft at all; it was literally just a solid slab of cooked egg (Koreans will understand what I mean). - As for the “Prime” ribeye… see the photo for yourself :/ Uneven cuts with a thick, irregular fat cap, very poor marbling balance, and oxidized. Serving and pricing it at $45/slab for this level of quality is unacceptable. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. We still paid a 20% tip for the friendly service, but the kitchen does not do the restaurant justice. Their most expensive raw ingredient was clearly sub-par, which raises concerns about the quality of the rest of the menu. Unless there is significant improvement in kitchen standards, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Surah of Orlando deserves the 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I gave to them!!!!! I wish I could give 10 stars 🤩!!! So I decided to celebrate my 41st birthday here because I wanted delicious authentic Korean food because I enjoy watching Korean dramas ☺️. I’ve wondered what the food tastes like. After viewing other customers reviews and Surah’s menu I decided this is the place to try authentic Korean food!!! From the moment I walked into the restaurant the team greeted me with warm smiles and gave excellent customer service! They showed us to our table and I saw the sweetest thing 🥹🥹😭🥰 they made a birthday sign for me that was written in both English and Korean 🥹, it was so beautiful!!! I loved the sign so much that my husband asked to purchase it as a souvenir🥰, and they kindly allowed me to purchase it!! The food was phenomenal, so much flavor and huge portions!! We ordered the honey garlic wings, pork stir fry, braised beef short ribs, bibimbop with the hot stone and Korean bbq short ribs all cooked by the chef. It was so delicious and the service was so excellent that we will definitely be returning!!

Google
The BEST korean food in orlando!! Drove about 40 minutes to Surah from east orlando and it was definitely worth the drive :) The food was AMAZING. The servers were super friendly and one of the owners Angie was really sweet and often stopped by our table to serve/chat with us. We'll definitely be stopping by again!! ❤️

Google
SURAH was an amazing experience, for both newcomers and regulars to Korean cuisine. A higher level of quality is present compared to the usual kbbq spots, the flower pork belly was the best we’ve had, but the real stars are the a la carte dishes. We had mandu, tteokbokki, soondubu jjigae, and bibim naengmyeon, as well as beef belly. They were all excellent and an amazing representation of Korean cuisine. We also had the pleasure of meeting Angie, one of the co-owners who helped serve our table. She was really sweet and very courteous in explaining what SURAH was about and more about Korean cuisine and culture. 5 out of 5 stars experience.

Google
Excellent Korean food and amazing service. We had to travel 30 minutes to get here but it was definitely worth it. Best japchae and teobokki. Loved the kimchi stew. The meat combo 2 was high quality and the owner gave great assistance and instructions on the grill. As a wimpy American the spice level was good. We brought a newbie and she loved it all. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Google
Love this place! I was in Orlando on a family trip for Disney, and my parents were really craving Korean food (i guess they were home sick) so we stopped by. We ordered the budae-jungol, donkatsu, and steamed egg. Honestly, it was a LOT of food for just the three of us, and everything tasted great. My parents were super satisfied, you could tell it really hit the spot for them. The ice cream dessert was amazing too, especially the corn ice cream (I know it sounds a little weird, but that’s my childhood ice cream, so it was perfect) Overall, this is a great Korean spot to check out if you’re in Orlando. Great food, great service, and the owner even came by to greet us. Definitely a five star!

Yelp
Best tasting Korean food. I lived in Korea for two years many years ago and have gone to Korean restaurants ever since. There's an old Korean saying: "If two people were eating and one of them died, the other wouldn't even notice." - 둘이 먹다가 하나 죽어도 모른다. The food was THAT good!

Yelp
Y'all I wanna gatekeep this restaurant so bad, but the staff are so amazing I can't do that to them. Everything is SO GOOD. The food is amazing, they have a great menu. The restaurant itself has a nice clean, modern vibe. And like I said, the staff has always been 10/10. Bonus: it's relatively easy to get to and parking is always a breeze for me (bonus for not being in downtown).

Yelp
Great food and service, everything was so yummy and flavorful. Great price too, we got lunch specials. Not pictured we got the Korean fried chicken w/ sweet and sour sauce, so yummy!!

Yelp
Called for a reservation of 10 people. When we got there, there was some confusion with someone taking my reservation, but it was quickly sorted out. We got seated shortly after. We did family style and ordered the Korean fried chicken (one bone in and one boneless), large beef combo (Prime Beef Brisket, LA Galbi, Bulgogi) which came with rice and sides, choice of stew. I also ordered a bibimbap for myself and everything was very delicious. The chicken actually blew me away. The quality of meat was very good and felt like a solid quantity of food for our table. My wife also ordered the K Prime Beef Rib Ramen and she throughly enjoyed that as well. I will be back at this place for delicious korean bbq and nice service.

Yelp
Just ate here for the first time. It was a very nice experience. Very busy which is good to see a local Business doing well. Very kind friendly staff. The food was very delicious. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed it very much.

Yelp
We came from the Orlando Korea Festival after loving the service and garlic boneless chicken. The service in the restaurant is just as amazing and caring as we came in a few minutes prior to the kitchen closing. They still served us very quickly, and even told us a buy one get one free deal! Thank you so much for the food that reminds us of home!

Yelp
Great tasty good priced right. Clean place with exceptional service. The place is designed with thought and care. Very comfortable eating atmosphere. A great date place.

Yelp
Muito bom!! 100% recomendo!! Super limpinho e o serviço muito rapidoo!! Uma delicia!! Very good!!! 100% recommend!!

Yelp
This place was surprisingly good. Coming from NYC and California when we have tried the Asian food on past visits to Orlando, it was a little bit scary. However, this place is a huge exception, and I give it five stars. First, the food is actually authentic unlike the other Asian food in Orlando. We had the bibimbap, soon do bu jigae, pa jun, etc. all very solid dishes. The most unexpected thing was how great the service was. This feels like a family run restaurant where the staff are happy and actually care about their customers. I was so impressed with their hospitality! Well done Surah team! You guys are the best!

Yelp
A huge pass. This place use to be BeeKwon and was great. I was super disappointed in the wait time and hot pot. Our waiter was super nice but it took forever for out hot pot to come out. When it did, it was just onions, bulgogi, and mushrooms, with noodles barely enough for one person. I'm not sure if they were having help/kitchen issues but I definitely would not be back. They had a few huge parties and seem to be very attentive to those patrons. $50 for hot pot and that's what was served is really sad. It's more expensive here than other places but very underwhelming.

Yelp
I came to Surah and left really impressed! The standout for me was the spicy tofu stew--I honestly didn't think it would be spicy enough, but they really delivered. It had just the right kick without overwhelming the flavor. The kalbi was also memorable--thicker cut than I usually see, but still tender with a nice bit of marbling that gave it great flavor. The side dishes were plentiful and fresh, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. The sweetest touch was the owner herself--she came by to chat, and even shared stories about when ATEEZ visited (twice!). It made the whole experience feel personal and warm. Everything I ordered was delicious! Best Korean food I've had in recent memory - I'd definitely come back here again. If you're looking for tasty Korean food with heart, Surah is a great choice.

Yelp
We're in town for a convention and were craving Korean food after an exhausting day. We found Surah and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the pork mandu--lightly crispy with a flavorful filling, definitely a must-try! For my entrée, I got the brisket tofu stew and requested it mild which was the perfect spice level for me. My bf had the galbi tang and the broth was light yet packed with flavor. The service was very friendly too. We're in town for a few more days and are already planning to come back before we leave!

Yelp
Service is fast and the food is spectacular!! Went here on a trip and had to come back the next day!!

Yelp
My wife and I had a great experience here! We met the owner, who was super friendly and told us they took over the restaurant about a year ago. He really made us feel welcome. We ordered the deluxe BBQ combo, which came with Prime Beef Ribeye, Prime Brisket, and Thin-Sliced Flower Pork Belly, plus a soybean soup. Everything was delicious! The ribeye was really tender, the pork belly was sliced just the way I like it--nice and thin--and the brisket was high quality. They also had a great variety of banchan (side dishes). I'm usually picky about kimchi, but theirs had the perfect balance of ginger, spice, saltiness, and sweetness. We also tried the Galbi Tang, which was clean, rich, and really comforting. Prices are a bit higher than some other Korean BBQ spots around Orlando, but the quality of the meat and care in preparation definitely makes it worth it.
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
I'm not sure if I'll come back because of the price and quality of the food. Quality--galbi was cold! I can clearly tell that the dish was frozen before as inside of galbi was cold and the veggies were breaking apart and its colors being dark instead of shiny bright. Perhaps if you're going to freeze, separate by meat and sauce and don't freeze the veggies. When you get the order, put the sauce in the steamer with the meat and fresh veggies and stem for couple minutes extra. Price--I don't think the food's been priced right. It's WAY overpriced for what we're getting. Also if we're paying almost 40 bucks for a galbi, it would have been nice to get banchan refilled... also, BE AWARE you have to pay for your banchan to get refilled by the way!

Yelp
Amazing food & service at Surah. Took the college & HS kids out for lunch and I was craving this. Saw many good reviews and they did not disappoint. We were so hungry that we started tearing into the food and pictures were an afterthought. Pork fried dumplings, no picture because they were delicious and we devoured them, were up first. Fantastic, sweet and spicy KFC not spicy but very tasty. Now the mains, I've heard of army stew but never had it. This was delicious, but I don't know that I'm coming back just for it. Beef Bugolgi hot pot was PHENOMENAL, really recommend this. Asked the kids for the star rating? 5 out of 5, I think that tells it all right there. Love the ambiance of the place and looking forward to my next trip back!

Yelp
Came in with my family and they requested to eat katsu curry. Really crispy and just the right amount of thick. We also enjoyed their kk bbq. Lots of good side dishes too.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was amazing with us being greeted by friendly staff after arriving 1 hour before closing. Throughout our entire meal, the staff were attentive with refills on side dishes, and tips on when to add the cheese to the stew. The ambiance is modern, elegant and spacious. Let's start with the side dishes, amazing! The salad comes with a tasty little shrimp, the kimchi radish were perfectly tender with a strong kimchi flavor, and the fish cakes had just the right texture and fish taste. The Korean Army Stew was nothing short of impeccable! We've gone to plenty of Korean restaurants and this is the single best Korean dish we've ever had of any restaurant. All of the meats tasted exactly how they should with distinct and delectable flavors and a perfect cook. The staff helped us cook the noodles to just the right texture. But the best part of this dish was the sauce which was full of creamy, and seasoned flavor throughout the entire pan. Amazing! We are sad we don't have such a good restaurant back in California.
google avatar

Jake H.

Yelp
Best Korean food I've ever had! Everything is made from scratch. I got to talk to the owner and they were so friendly and kind. Everyone in my family was amazed how good all the food was! We got the dumplings, pork stir fry , and short rib! Highly recommend all of those.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Loved it all! Great flavors and textures. We did the bbq- cook your own meats on the grill on the table, which was excellent. Next time we'll try some of the menu items.

Yelp
Had the Bulgogi Lunch Special. I experienced a really big serving with great meat, fresh vegetables and the flavors of the seasoning and the sauce brought it all together. The appetizer dishes were fresh and delicious. Attentive staff that was engaging and kind. An upgrade from the previous Korean at this location and worth having a look and taste for yourself. Place is cleaned up and has a new look to it too. Great and sharp ambience to the place as well.

Yelp
The service was extremely nice, and the taste and quality of the food amazing. Will return every time I visit Orlando. Thank you for the friendly attention.

Yelp
Wow, this place is one that I will definitely recommend and re-visit. Went there for my birthday and they had a nice set up with balloons, and an adorable board that said happy birthday. All hand drawn, too cute! The menu was easy to understand & service was top tier. When the food started rolling its way to the table, that's when I really got excited. Everything looked/tasted superb. Since it was a slow Thursday, they took the time to cook the BBQ for us. So kind of them. The side dishes were to 10/10, extremely tasty and savory. Overall an excellent place. 감사합니다

Yelp
Checked this place out from Yelp reviews. Located in Dr Phillips by Sage Dental Plaza. PRICEY Korean Restaurant!! Empty inside no customers and I wondered why its 4-5 stars yet empty eatery? This would been a 5 stars for the taste of the food alone but service and PRICE is why I deducted the stars. $35.99 for 3 slabs of Galbi that is cut to pieces. YES 3 SLABS. How do I know that? Each galbi rib has 3 bones. Ordered the Galbi because they NO LONGER SERVE BENTO BOX plates. The sizzling hot plate came with the stacks of galbi meats sitting on top on white onions. The galbi is toped with green onions. It smelled good and looking at the portion I already knew I will still be hungry. The galbi was sliced up to pcs and it was a total of 3 slabs if you pieced the meats together LOL The ban chan - Let's talk about it. For $35.99 GALBI only you would expect good portions on the ban chan sides. NOPE. They offered a PIECE of tofu a PIECE of rolled omelet and 3-4 little pcs of broccoli small ones at that. I did not want spicy sides so the total sides u get is 4 sides and "sample" sized. The lady said after 2 refills each side is $1.50 each. Wow you are charging $1.50 for 1 small pc of tofu or rolled omelet? This is an empty restaurant so the service you would expect fast and on top of it - Nope you barely saw the server. The Korean Shave Ice looked good - Opted for Mango and it was a sherbet sorbet not ice cream. This was $14.99. It had shaved ice, diced up fruits and mini mochi bits, syrups and a mango sorbet on top on a pedestal glass bowl cup. It was a refreshing dessert. I would not consider coming back here due to price and portion and lack of service.

Yelp
It's our first visit and it won't be our last. Andy and Cloe our servers were amazing. Andy went into great detail explaining the dishes to us. He recommended the seafood pancake and the braised beef. The seafood pancake was one of our favorites. We found the food to be amazing. We enjoyed the ambiance and really enjoyed Andy - he is a great server. Go check it out.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!! We were looking for a lunch spot and decided to give this place a try based upon their reviews and we were not disappointed! A new owner took this establishment over back in October of last year and completely redid the restaurant. They did such an amazing job! The service is one of the best I have ever witnessed, we had wonderful people checking on us and actually took the time to help with cooking the BBQ we had. The food was stellar!! Every bite was better than the last - there wasn't a bad bite the entire meal! I love the ambience of the restaurant, it's so clean and modern. We will definitely be back! You should totally try this place, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow! It's like being back in K-Town in NYC!! Awesome welcome and service by Andy. Airy high ceilings ambiance. Their initial appetizers of kimchi, peanuts and fish is special (much better than having bread). The Korean Fried chicken is very tasty (and plentiful). The Pork Katsu is delicious and also plenty. All washed with a nice cold K-Soju Jinro Chamisul Fresh. Very reasonably priced. Happy evening! We will be back for the Short Ribs, lunch and Happy Hour!

Yelp
Ambience: Modern/Minimalist and sleek yet a gentle warmth to the decor. Service: The staff was super friendly, nice and attentive without making you feel overwhelmed or neglected. Food: The Kimchi Soup was perfect. Savory and rich and just hit the spot after a long day. The chicken katsu, the batter was flakey and crispy but somehow managed to be light with the chicken being moist which was phenomenal. Stone pot rice, meat and veggies was just right and finally the Korean Ramen was elevated comfort food at its finest. I wish I can transport these guys back to North Carolina!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very good Korean Resturant. Love the options here and there's options for just about anyone hungry. My favorite and most unique is the port cutlet. It is so crisp; tender; and moist; it was perfectly prepared. It reminded me of my favorite cutlet place in Japan that was a hole in the wall joint. Portions are just right. Only thing I would comment on is the price as it's a bit on the higher side. Other than that; place is clean and service is good.

Yelp
Came here for a casual dinner after a day at the theme parks. The interior was nicely decorated and clean. The servers were quick, super friendly, and generally attentive. My husband ordered the pork katsu (9/10). Everything was so tasty but we could have used a tiny bit more sauce. Side dishes were great, they had "white" kimchi! There was a hiccup with my order- they brought me seafood stew instead of the beef stew I ordered. It took a little bit to correct the order but the staff was very apologetic and the owner even came by make things right. I wish we had a spot like this at home, but I'll definitely be back whenever we are visiting Orlando.

Gloria Y.

Yelp
I had high expectations with the good reviews, but was rather disappointed and the food is definitely overpriced. I don't mind paying extra if the food is excellent, but the Bulgogi Hot Pot was lacking in depth of flavor and tasted mediocre; not worth $46.00. The Seafood Pancake was very greasy and way too salty: not worth $24! However the owner/manager was very nice and provided good service, but the food is not worth trying again.
google avatar

Kelly T.

Yelp
Beautiful and well lit place. Korean food entrees along with KBBQ is served at this place. It is definitely quality over quantity but well worth the price. Service is quick and food may take about 10 minutes after ordering. Best Korean food that I have tried compared from all of Orlando.

Yelp
Went to Surah for my daughter's birthday. The food was delicious. My daughter had the bulgogi, I had the udon noodles and husband had the chicken cutlet. Every was properly prepared and served with some delicious sides. Service was excellent and staff was very attentive and checked in with us throughout the meal. All in all it was a very nice dining experience.

Yelp
This place is exactly what I was searching for. Came here after a loooooong day at universal, and I was thrilled to get something authentic. Waiters are super friendly - we had a few snafus with the soda machine with the fix happening this past week that didn't really fix it, but they were great and found a solution. Back of the house is very Korean (lol we asked if we could add rice cakes to the stew and were told that communication was a bit difficult). Very generous with the small plates, which was great. Kimchis, everything was on point. Also 20% bigger variety than other spots. Flavors are perfect re our stew and tteokbokki, spice level is enough to make you sweat but not look like a member of the Kardashian family re the lips. Would return any time I'm in Orlando.

brian n.

Yelp
SO AMAZING! Soon as we walked in, the vibe was super chill and welcoming. The food was honestly top tier--everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, you could tell they put care into it. Every plate looked so good and it was even better when you ate it. The service was just as great, super friendly staff who kept checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Food and service both hit the mark big time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
To preface I'm Korean and really into food. I regularly get Korean BBQ. Cute environment. High quality meat. I'm super familiar with the business metrics for Korean BBQ. Few issues. Feels like they know food but struggled with the business side to Korean BBQ. Or they struggled the day I was there. Trying to give benefit of the doubt. Service was slow but the servers seemed to be juggling multiple jobs. They looked overwhelmed. The place had about 30-40% of the tables filled with the host? Owner? Helping out with 2 servers and they looked swamped. The cook tables were electric based and one side of the grill heated up properly but the other side didn't. This is a common issue with cheaper grill tops or a baseline mechanical issue with the grill top such as a blockage, wiring issue, voltage issue, or grease build up. This issue limited how much meat I could put on the grill at a time to avoid uneven cooking. I think they should put their investment towards higher quality prime Galbi rather than prime ribeye, but then again, could be a choice based on the area. The galbi itself isn't true LA style cut, but it's what grocery stores push as an LA cut. True LA cut is a long deboned strip of meat with a single large bone that's cooked separately at the end. Tasted good nonetheless. Accurate marinade. Brisket was bomb. Pan fried dumplings were good. Wrapper was unevenly cooked and would have been better deep fried. Banchan tasted good. It's rare I like every single side dish and they did great every single one. Sizes were small but understandable to reduce waste. If you want more just ask. No steamed egg? No jjigae? Disappointed but personal preference, not a criticism. First bbq I've ever been to that offered galbi jjim but no jjigae. Chose 4 star over 3 since the brisket was nice and the marinade on the galbi was accurate. Overall enjoyed the meal and frankly nitpicking. Korean bbq is a tough restaurant industry and probably even more so in Orlando.

Yelp
SURAH was amazing! The flavors are bold, and the presentation is beautiful. We shared the Pork Yaki Man Doo dumplings, Chicken Katsu, and Bulgogi beef, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The Chicken Katsu was perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and the Bulgogi beef was super tender and served on a bed of onions. The sides were great too--especially the spicy peanuts! It took more restraint than I'd care to admit to not take a bottle of the katsu sauce home, lol. Andy, our server, was awesome. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us great food and drink recommendations. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and attentive. This is hands down the best Korean food I've ever had. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the amazing food and service. Highly recommend!

Megan M.

Yelp
I have been looking for a hotpot dish as good as what I had in South Korea and Surah did not disappoint! We ordered the hotpot and the veggies and protein was fresh, flavor was amazing, and we even had some to take home. The setting is an upscale casual vibe with cute indoor and outdoor seating available. Thank you so much for a great service, experience, and meal.

Diana W.

Yelp
My family and I just left Surah. I can honestly say this was worth the 2 hour drive. The food was amazing, the service was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Surah. We will definitely be back. Until next time .

Yelp
We just ate here today and my husband said it was the best Korean food he's ever eaten (he's 100% Korean and we have gone to South Korea before) so to hear this come out of his mouth, was amazing. We had the cold noodle soup (my favorite) and some beef bulgogi and short ribs. The short ribs were DELICIOUS. The softest short ribs I've ever had. The flavor was also amazing. Sorry no pics of the food, we were too busy eating it. Edit: Sorry, i took a star off just because we had an oopsies when paying and although it wasn't the staffs fault, it did put a damper on our experience. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when trying to solve this issue, so if it wasn't for that little mishap, it would have been a 5 star review Edit 2: everything was resolved fast so 5 stars from me!

Yelp
Hot & New Korean place that just opened! Upon arriving, we were greeted by the host, and was seated right away. We ordered the combo + tofu soup which comes with a variety of sides and your choice of meat. We chose the L.A Galbi. This was $34! Not bad & you can share with 2 people. I also enjoyed the galbi. The tofu soup could be better, as it was lacking some flavor. I really enjoyed the pickled dishes as it came with hot & spicy options. I also ordered a chicken katsu + salad and it comes with a small white rice. This was pretty tasty & authentic. This was $25! They also have happy hour from 2-6pm! As you can see from the menu, there were a lot of options to choose from. They were so friendly and even explained some of our dishes to us. The place is really open and spacious and overall the staff and everything was great. I definitely enjoyed this experience and will definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean food.

Yelp
We're on a work trip from CA and went to Surah for our last dinner in town. The service, the food, EVERYTHING was amazing! Our server was Andy and he made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. If you're visiting or a local, stop by, grab a drink and enjoy an amazing meal!

Yelp
Seriously good Korean food! Their Galbi is authentic and you can tell the quality of meat is top notch. It was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly! The restaurant is clean, really pretty and welcoming. I feel like it's getting harder to find legit Korean food these days, so thank goodness for places like Surah! Obviously, I highly recommend it!

Yelp
The food is truly authentic. Flavor wise is full and well deserved 5 stars. Customer service is in point. Highly recommend. The pancake we got, have nice texture and flavor. It rarely see oysters in this type of pancake, but they have it, add surprise and flavor.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner. Wanted to try this spot after they took over Beewon. We started with a bottle of peach rice wine. That was like juice but tasty. I did the seafood tofu stew and my bf did the bibimbap. We got about 8 sides. The steamed egg was my most favorite. The sides were all good though. My seafood stew was good. My egg yolk was well done. I'm sure to it being put in last and a little runny. I think it was cooked prior to be put in the stew or cooked separately. The bibimbap seemed more like kimchi fried rice. Fried egg was also well done. Usually it comes out in the hot stone and you mix it into the rice with yolk slightly runny. Service and everything was good though otherwise.

Yelp
We were looking for a break from the burgers, hot dogs, and funnel cakes at the parks and found Surah on Yelp. Gave it a shot because of the 5-star rating. Surah lived up to it! The food was traditional Korean and satisfied our craving for solid comfort food. My kimchi jjigae came out nice and stewy, as I hoped for. My wife's dolsot bimbimbap had fresh veggies, the perfect crunchy rice at the bottom of the bowl, and the egg was perfectly sunny side up. We were provided a treat of hotteok at the end of dinner which was sweet and delicious! It was a great way to finish dinner. The restaurant was well lit and felt welcoming. Service was very prompt. The owner was very pleasant and greeted us with warm smiles!!!

Yelp
Stop by for lunch and really enjoyed the food here. Staff were a bit slow at serving and the food took a long time. I ordered the steamed dumplings and really enjoyed that. I did order a bento box with plenty of items, everything tasted great. The side items were also good. The side items took a while to come out as well, it came out right when my food came out which was a bit odd since theh should have given it to me when I sat down and got my water. Pricing was a bit expensive, but I would dine here again.
