The Best Soft Serve In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Surreal Creamery isn’t just fun to say, it’s also fun to visit. This ice cream spot off of 2nd Avenue in Murray Hill makes soft serve flavors that feel almost inconceivable. (Except we're grateful that someone conceived them.) There's a vietnamese iced coffee flavor, a Monster Cookies flavor the exact shade of Cookie Monster, and toppings like Lucky Charms and Teddy Grahams. And you can get your soft serve in a cup full of bubble tea or a sundae in a mason jar. If you’re closer to Greenwich Village, Surreal also has a location there." - willa moore, hannah albertine, arden shore, molly fitzpatrick

Where to Get Matcha in Manhattan | Eater NY

"Surreal Creamery popularized the flotea that combines bubble tea floats topped with ice cream. Sold in massive sizes, there are plenty of combinations with a choice of flavor for the tea and up to two different flavors for the ice cream. Matcha and taro are popular choices but you can also mix matcha with earl gray, brown sugar, or Thai milk." - Twesha Dikshit

The Ultimate Guide to Boba in New York City | Eater NY

"Surreal Creamery, an ice cream and bubble tea spot, feels like a hidden gem in Kips Bay. It is known for its unique, Instagram-worthy treats, including the Floaters (bubble tea topped with soft-serve ice cream) and Mason jar specials (soft-serve ice cream with colorful toppings in a Mason jar). Must-try items include the Nom Nom Cookie Mason Jar, Thai milk bubble tea with Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream, and taro bubble tea topped with a swirl of matcha-taro ice cream." - Anna Huang

When I laid eyes ok this I thought it was gonna be gross. But it’s actually good!!! The early grey rice cream with brown sugar milk tea is pretty fire. Great combo. The ice cream itself is really silky and satisfying. It’s just so. Big. They should have a small size, imo. Three of us couldn’t finish it all together. There’s room to stand but no where to sit. Solid spot for soft serve.

Google
Massive boba ice cream. Very sweet. It’s best through the straw vs eating the ice cream on its own. The earl grey ice cream was pretty subtle - slightly too subtle for me.

Ice cream was really good. We customized some of our desserts and got something off the menu. Staff was really nice and helpful.

This dessert spot in NYC is fantastic! The quality and taste are exceptional, and they offer a great variety of treats. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back to try more. The staff is super friendly, and the place is lovely. Highly recommended!

Google
The ice cream looked amazing, but the shop is not in the best area... It has tons of garbage cans blocking most of the store front so it didn't even look open. We went inside and the clerk never greeted us or asked if we were ready to order... We just stood there for a while and decided to leave. Also there is NO SEATING. For anyone who is mobility challenged, has small kiddos, or elderly folks with them.

Google
I hesitate to leave this review because this place is so incredible that I want to keep it all to myself but my conscience demands honesty and honestly wow this place is so, so good. Best dessert and bubble tea place in the city easily, wow wow wow. Everything is so delicious and you get such a good amount for your money. Also, the service is so good, the guy behind the counter was very cool and nice. 10/10 experience 10/10 dessert 10/10 place

I loved Surreal Creamery, and I can't wait to come back. It's like a premium Mr. softie because they take soft serve to another level. You can try samples of flavors before purchasing. They have flavors like Matcha, Monster Cookie, Earl Grey Vanilla and so much more. You can add up to 4 toppings and they have everything from different sauces (caramel, chocolate) to cookie dough bites and sprinkles. The menu has so much that I have to go back again to try the ice cream cake in a jar. I ordered the monster cookie with Oreos and cookie dough bites and it was around $10-$11. I could not finish it so next time, I'll opt for a smaller size.

The Dulce de leche was very good. Delicious and different ❤️❤️ try it you won't regret it.

Yelp
Surreal Creamery has to be a hidden gem tucked away. Their ice cream floats and ice cream in mason jars presents an uncommon but practical idea of packaging for its customers. While I was skeptical at first, the ice cream at Surreal turned out to be creamy, thick, and most apparently, big. It could take up to four people to finish just one jar of ice cream, making its portion sizes extremely shareable and affordable. I always come back to Surreal for one particular flavor: their Monster Cookie mason jar. However, their floats are also very good, and extremely customizable. The portion sizes are hefty so make sure to bring a friend, or three. On a side note, the service is nothing notable, and the interior of the shop is quite small and plain. It is just very much a grab and go type of place, it is unfortunate that there are no seats or anywhere to eat here.

Yelp
Ok hear me out on this one because I respect all the 5 star reviews that are here before me: The ice cream and cake combo is DELICIOUS (the s'mores one is my personal favorite after a few trips here), but the problem is the practicality of eating it. The ice cream is on top of the cake and so you have to dig through a lot of ice cream before you're at the cake, and not only that but don't even think about trying to walk around and eat this thing without spilling everywhere. But with that out of the way, this is a must-try place for dessert lovers because it tastes so darn good and the service is nice and fast (I've never seen this place with too long of a line). Notably no tables at the place but there's a counter where I usually stand and eat the first part of the cake jar so that I can avoid spilling all over myself, and then once you've eaten the top part it does become practical to take it outside and walk around with it. Besides the cake jars, they have an assortment of teas that I have not tried but look good!

Yelp
Have loved this icecream since i moved to NYC few years ago. Their servings are good size. Must try! There isnt much indoor seatings but great to pickup and walk around the neighborhood.

Yelp
Incredible ice cream!! It was so creamy and flavorful and the ice cream and cake jar combo sent me to dessert heaven. The inside is filled with pictures of their ice cream and each jar of ice cream looks so appetizing. If you're looking for a sweet treat, this is the place to go!

Yelp
The Lychee bubble Tea, Strawberry with Strawberry Boba, and Passion Fruit Bubble Tea were all incredibly flavorful! The drinks were perfect for a hot summer day. The service was excellent and quick, exactly what you need to cool down. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This place is pure luxury! Surreal Icecream is a fantastic spot for ice cream lovers. Their creative and delicious flavors make every visit an adventure. The quality of the ice cream is top-notch, with a creamy texture and rich taste that keeps you coming back for more. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding to the enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a delightful treat, Surreal Icecream is the place to go!

Yelp
Tik tok got this place right! The earl grey vanilla ice cream on its own was delicious, but getting these crazy milkshakes made it even more fun. There was no rush, so our shakes were served super quickly. The employees were really fun and giving their honest opinions about what's good and what's not, which I appreciated. The place itself doesn't have seating, only a standing area. So if you want to sit down and eat this, you'll have to somewhere else. The items really did look true to the photos, which is hard to come by these days.

Yelp
Nom nom nom... If you're looking for next level ice cream and other sweet treats, the next dessert spot you should check out in NYC (& beyond!) is Surreal Creamery. They have a handful of signature mason jar ice cream concoctions such as the one shown, boba ice cream, build your own cones, and more! Their cones at their Kips Bay location are $10 and their mason jar treats are $11.25, so I paid that little bit extra to indulge in all of the fancy ice cream glory! I ordered the Nom Nom Cookie, which was made up of monsters cookies and cream ice cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate crunch, cookie crisps, marshmallow puffs, and full size Oreos. It's was as epic in flavor as it was in its presentation. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely a place you want to stop by!

Yelp
Someone please tell me why this bright blue soft serve liquidates faster than Lehman Brothers in '08. Everything is fine and dandy for two minutes; suddenly, there's turquoise streams of sugar water streaming down my hand as I'm frantically trying to limit the damage by wolfing down the ice cream. I'm no longer smiling and enjoying yourself. I'm in the fight of your life against this beast, aptly named "Monster Cookie Ice Cream". Also, there's just something comical about seeing abandoned splatters of bright purple and blue ice cream on the block leading up to Surreal Creamery. It's like a tribute to the victims who were defeated by this $10 scam.

Yelp
Stopped in after dinner and this did not disappoint! The servings are HUGE!! It's a pretty good deal, considering you'll probably have leftovers. Pro tip: ask for a lid for the mason jar! After ordering, there was no wait and the soft serve came out after less than a minute. The shop is decorated with lots of Asian decor and plants. I had the Taro Jar, and it was delicious! The taro flavor was very fragrant, and the graham cracker topping was the perfect pairing. I would definitely come back to try some of the other flavors!

Yelp
Got the Brown Sugar Bubble Tea Earl Grey Vanilla Ice Cream. The final product was no joke bigger than my head. That was absolutely amazing. Easily sharable for 2 people (also super sweet, so probably want to split it). For the price for 2 people, this spot is super affordable and delicious. Also makes for a great picture. Ice cream is good, kind of like fro-yo texture, so don't expect real ice cream scoop (like McDonald's ice cream, but Earl Grey flavored). The boba at the bottom is chewy and good (also not the best you'll ever have). Overall, none of the individual parts are the best things you'll ever taste, but for the massive size, great presentation, and getting both Ice Cream + Boba + Milk Tea all in one order, I loved it. Quite the blend, and would definitely go back to share with others.

Yelp
When searching for the best ice cream in New York via yelp, surreal creamery popped up. The place is definitely popular, I had to wait in a smallish line to be able to get my ice cream. I ended up getting a customized mason jar with vanilla ice cream, Oreos, chocolate syrup, Cocoa Puffs, and whip cream (12.25$). The mason jar creation was pretty good with a unique and interesting appearance (plus you're able to keep the glass jar they give you). Overall, It's a solid location that I would definitely recommend for a sweet treat.

Yelp
If you're looking for a sweet and Instagram-worthy treat, Surreal Creamery is the place to be! My friend and I shared a massive float with brown sugar boba and earl grey soft serve, and let me tell you, it was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The staff was super patient as we tried to get the perfect picture for our social media. But beware, the float is enormous and extremely sweet, so definitely do not attempt to finish it on your own. The store seemed to be quite popular, and I could see why. The atmosphere was fun and whimsical, with plenty of colorful decor to keep your eyes entertained. All in all, if you're in the mood for something fun and delicious, Surreal Creamery is definitely worth checking out.

Loca M.

Yelp
Omigosh, just go. Delicious. They let you sample a flavor that you might not know if you want it. And you will. Open late!

Yelp
Wonderful boba and ice cream place which I haven't visited so far on McDougal. Their cup size is so big for boba that can't be finished in one go. Got the brown sugar boba with earl Grey vanilla ice cream. Here's the thing, Vanilla ice cream is so common but the earl Grey vanilla flavor is new and yummy. Tastes very much like the tea. Also this is a very small place and there's only a bench available inside with no stools. Service was good.
google avatar

Yelp
Oh I love matcha and this place had the best matcha ice cream. The portions are huge. Definitely could've just gotten one for me and my fiancé and not 2 like we decided. The ice cream was put together really fast. The place is small and there is no seating. So it's definitely ice cream to go. It's in the middle of the city so you can just take a nice walk or sit in your car. The decor was very nice. This ice cream literally sent me into a food coma. I tucked myself into bed as soon as I got home and woke up the next day clueless as to what happened. One of the best ice cream I've had and will definitely get it again on an empty stomach.
google avatar

Laura O.

Yelp
Finally tried out Surreal Creamery, one of the many ice cream shops in my neighborhood, and I'm currently writing from the comfort of my own food coma. I'd say spring and fall are good seasons to come here, as there's no indoor seating, and your very Instagrammable creation will start to melt immediately upon stepping out into hot weather. It also was pretty busy during the random April Saturday of our visit. I'd bet it gets crazy during the summer. The cute sundaes served in mason jars will be the draw for some, but we went all in for the floateas, a fusion of boba milk tea and ice cream. I tried the version with taro bubble tea and matcha/taro swirled ice cream. The taro and matcha flavors were tasty and refreshing on their own, but when mixed together I thought the flavors got a little lost or muddled. I also would've preferred a little more tea; the (very large) cup was about 2/3 or 3/4 ice cream. On the other hand, I thought the boba here were particularly excellent - the perfect amounts of sweetness and chewiness. I also enjoyed the crunchy little sugar waffle cookie on the side. I would come again and try a different floatea flavor, or maybe just a regular milk tea with the bubbles. I'll give it 3.5 stars for execution and another half star for the creative concept.
google avatar

Frank H.

Yelp
I must preface that this dessert spot rating can vary drastically by person based on what they're looking for. Surreal Creamery does a great job of delivering a lot of ice cream in an aesthetic way (would recommend the mason jar for the aesthetic)! However, for me it's a bit surreal to think this desert is meant to be finished by 1-2. It's a lot - food coma inducing 1/3 of the way in. Frankly, I was pretty full after eating the top part that extended past the mason jar...The ice cream itself and the other elements are all fine/tasty (not the best and not the worst in flavor). For my preferences, I'll probably stick to other ice cream spots in the area.
google avatar

Maream S.

Yelp
We went to the city to get dessert from serendipity but they had dine-on only and the wait was over an hour so we were looking for another nearby dessert shop. The kids decided they want soft serve ice cream so we ended up at Surreal Creamery. We were surprised to see flavors that were not expected. My youngest chose the strawberry Flavored Happy Birthday and my older daughter the Earl gray because it was the closest to Vanilla. Overall it was fine, if you are looking for early gray ice cream this is your place ! Very clean and fresh tasting, customer service was great and fast. This is not of an acquired taste I think for adults. We will not be rushing back for ice cream because 3 small portions cost $27. They call is small but it's a lot of ice cream !!!

Yelp
3.5s Had been wanting to try out this place for the longest. It is very much out of the way for me... so, it was a special trip. Have been following them on IG and looking at the awesome pictures of their alluring creations. Can't say that I was expecting to see God upon tasting their desserts , but certainly expected a lil' bit higher up above average; and they hit the mark. We ordered the large of each of the items. It's a LOT of stuff. It'd be like a meal for some. It'd be nice if they had a pictorial catalog of everything they offer (but, they don't). It'd make it much easier for first timers to order. Instead, they have a list of items you may choose from and piece together what you'd like. I see that as a negative... there are some combos that simply work well and others that don't. The cashier and dessert engineer was very friendly. I wished their store were more of a "dine in" style. The place is set up for "grab and go". No tables, no chairs. Given the size and price of their confections... some time and a place to enjoy them would nicely complement your experience. If I worked or lived near them, I'd definitely go back. But, since it's located in a neighborhood I do not frequent for anything... ‍

Yelp
Talk about ice cream with a twist, ice cream+ bubble tea. The concoction is brilliant! The place is really cute with some plants and flowery stuff in the front, but there's no seating. Staff were great, they were very patient while I was being indecisive. Thank you! Ordered Taro Bubble Tea & Matcha/Taro Swirled Ice Cream, topped with condensed milk and cookies. It was so big that it was even a bit too much for the 2 of us, so I'm sure it can be shared among 3 people! Because the bubble tea is warm, you get a mixture of bubble tea and melted ice cream in the middle, which is actually really good. Will be back to try other flavors

Yelp
Pictured is the Nom Nom Cookie Mason Jar Special for $9.50. A soft serve Cookie Monster ice cream with chocolate syrup topped with cookie crisps and Oreos. Follow our insta: @nyc.halal for more halal food reviews!!

Yelp
I've had this place bookmarked for years and We finally got to try it out on this cold winter day. We ordered the taro and matcha swirl ice cream with taro bubble tea. Let me just say, this is HUGE for 1-2 people. I personally loved the taro ice cream more than the matcha, but my fiancé preferred the matcha. To each their own, right? In terms of ratio, it's about 1/4 bubble tea, and 3/4 ice cream. I'd love to come back and try their other flavors ! Note: - no seating, and the standing area was closed off.
google avatar

Marlenys C.

Yelp
When your sweet tooth needs something this is the place to go! I personally love their Earl grey bubble team and ice cream mix 10/10. My friend got the Cookie Monster one and it was also really good. Staff were nice and got our order done quickly.

Christine C.

Yelp
I'm an ice cream fanatic and the Cookie Monster is probably my favorite ice cream ever. No toppings needed the ice cream is perfect on its own. No seating but stop in to pick up a quick treat.
google avatar

Anita K.

Yelp
The Earl grey ice cream was amazing I got the jar with condensed milk and boba and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I didn't realize how much they give you so I probably should have split it with my friend because I definitely went into a sugar coma after this. However it was in fact worth it! Services was great and fast and it's a to go spot so not much for ambience but what you'd expect!
google avatar

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Haven't been here in several months but stopped by with someone I know. I got the Thai iced tea with pearls which was good but probably would have preferred something else. Here's a pic minus the bottom which I spooned out bc it was melting from the heat
google avatar

Ajith J.

Yelp
It was great to be back here. We were in the area for lunch and then embark on a road trip. Being that it was a warm day, we wanted to grab some drinks. We got their drinks with bubbles, mango jelly and mango pops. I had the strawberry slush which was phenomenal. The mango tea was also great. Glad to see this place still churning out amazing drinks. The service was great. There was a very pungent weird smell when we walked in which was weird but otherwise everything was great.
google avatar

Dontay M.

Yelp
When I walked in, it had a decent amount of customers inside, so I know that their ice cream was going to be good off the bat. I order a Nom Nom Cookie Jar Special. I was tempted to get a small just to try it out but I was persuaded by my friends to get it with the Mason Jar. What made it special is that, by choice, you can use the jar for recycling purposes. The ice cream was pretty good. The only thing that frustrated me was not being able to figure out the flavor of the ice cream. But I guess that is what makes it "special" My other friend had the Chocolate Blowout. To him, it was ok, nothing to be crazy about. When I entered the place, something about it made it really enjoyable. I liked the flowers that they had there which effectively made me enjoy the dessert even more. So the environment was nice. I will come back in the future. This place shall be bookmarked.
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Sooooo good. Amazing flavors and toppings. Love their teas as well. I like the mango tea with lychee pops. For the soft serve, they serve big portions, definitely shareable. Can get your dessert in a mason jar for extra $. They have delivery and pick up. The only downside is no seating indoors to enjoy your sweets, which would be nice since you want to enjoy ice creams you have to enjoy on the spot.
google avatar

Sonia Z.

Yelp
I'm a bit disappointed with the ice cream cuz they just had soft serve in stead of making their own ice cream. The topping was just for the instagram I thibk
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
Big fan of the soft serve ice cream flavors and their toppings! My favorite is probably their classic Earl Gray flavor (which I had in their signature mason jar Earl Gray Everyday special). And I also really liked both the Taro and Matcha flavored soft serve. One of their Jars or specialty boba/ice cream combos is definitely enough to share amongst two people. While the boba was good, I think their ice cream really made things special. Note: it's a small shop with no seating room, so grab an ice cream and head over to a park to enjoy!

Nicole E. R.

Yelp
Love this place! My fav is the taro ice cream with marshmallows and waffle cookie . It's also so much ice cream! Make sure you come ready to have a big dessert

Michelle C.

Yelp
A must! Tried the passionfruit boba tea and the amour s'more ice-cream. Both were delicious.
google avatar

Peaches A.

Yelp
Delicious soft serve, huge portions (bring 2-3 friends!) and decent prices when split amongst friends
google avatar

Hadley L.

Yelp
Serving sizes are HUGEEE. I got the smallest size and couldn't finish it all. But considering how much they give you, the prices are extremely reasonable. The worker was helpful and kind. And the ice cream is smooth and delicious
google avatar

Helen S.

Yelp
One of my favorite late night date spots. Great displays inside, very chill and cute. Menu is fantastic and the portions are ENORMOUS. The staff are great about mixing things and making custom treats if you ask nicely and it's not busy. They also have a rewards program!
google avatar

Yelp
Surreal creamery was a stop we made on the way to times square. We Got the mason char option and made our own flavors. We chose the Monster cookie& chocolate swirl, then condensed milk, crackers and picked our toppings. Listen... You are better off getting ONE PER 10 PEOPLE! they are so polite with their serving size that 4 bites in, it looked like i hadn't been dented the whole thing. you can see off the pictures how big it is!! for around $10, i say that's well worth it. the ice cream too, wasn't too sugary to the point where you have a bite and can't finish it. it was light and creamy, just how i like them. iF i wasn't on my diet i really would've annihilated the whole jar myself but unfortunately i had to share with others. This was truly, Surreal
google avatar

Doug W.

Yelp
Omg Got shakes It was seriously nothing short of a surreal moment sipping on this perfectly balanced and blended dream of a shake. I never thought anything could be so perfect. Pick your ice cream and your topping and have it made perfectly ! Or get the bubble tea or scoops It's way too difficult to stumble in like I did, I'm going to need to plan my next orders like a month in advance! What a nice find what a random moment Perfect for a stroll and conversation.
google avatar

Zoe L.

Yelp
My friend took me here and I'm so glad she did!! I tried the Flotea (boba with ice cream)--Earl Grey Bubble Tea and Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream! It is HUGE and would recommend sharing (or freezing the ice cream for leftovers). This combination was surprisingly not too sweet (a plus in my eyes). I love how as the ice cream melts, it becomes a milkshake! The boba is also chewy/fresh. Reminded me of ShareTea's milk tea w/ice cream, but with a lot more ice cream here. One thing to note is that there's no seating, so carrying the dessert out/walking may be a little difficult (wish it came with a cap! Although may reduce ice cream volume..) I didn't know Surreal was a chain but so glad there's a location here! I'll definitely come back to try more combinations.
google avatar

Nikhil R.

Yelp
This place gets a 5/5 just for presentation itself! If you love ice cream and you also love boba, this is the best of both worlds. These extravagant ice cream and boba combinations will be the best decision you could make! Yes they're pricey for the combo (around $10.25) but I think it's fair for what you get. The taro ice cream combo is incredible. So much ice cream overflowing in a cup full of taro tea. The quality of the boba is also amazing. Super fresh, chewy, and actually served hot in the tea!
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
The most delicious, amazing ice cream place I've been to so far!! I had to come back a second time on my trip because it was so good. Earl Grey Vanilla Icecream w/ Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Coconut Flakes 10/10 - perfect amount of sweetness - loved how they put toppings in the middle before adding more ice cream and toppings again - lots of volume, very filling Their ice cream/boba is very aesthetically pleasing for photos. Highly recommend coming here for a sweet treat!

Yelp
Taro ice cream...my new obsession! Seems like I always start this review and never get to finish it haha so I'm making it a goal to finish it now. We come all the way from Jersey to come here because their ice cream and boba tea is one do the best. I usually get the taro ice cream which is not that easy to find and my niece gets boba tea. For the amount that you get and what you pay it's definitely worth it. The staff is always so nice to us and one day we came right at closing and the older gentleman allowed us to be attended to since we had driven from Jersey just to come to their NY location. Sometimes there is a bit of a line specially since they don't allow too many people inside at once. It's pretty clean inside and they have plenty of options for you to choose from. The boba pearls are so good that I usually get a side of them...not sure if this is healthy for me to eat so much of but oh well haha. Overall highly recommend them & I wish them much success in their business because they've been so great to me.

Yelp
Aptly named due to the somewhat surreal experience of eating an entire mason jar full of ice cream, oreos and who knows what else, but nevertheless this is delicious. Took the kids for a treat after hearing there were lines down the block at times and we all had fun. We tried the brown sugar bubble tea which was very sweet but very good. We had the nom nom cookie Mason jar, the matcha made in heaven (with chocolate ice cream rather than matcha) and a make your own with chocolate ice cream, oreos and lucky charms. The ice cream flavors are very good soft serve and they are very generous with the toppings. It's not just what you get on top, they are also layered throughout. You can make any modifications you want and they'll give you a lid so you can save your leftovers. Sadly I had eaten my entire jar before I knew it, so no leftovers for me, but it's a nice idea. Be aware there is nowhere to eat inside and masks are required. Also be aware that it is dangerously addictive. Hence, I'll be back.

Yelp
Service was good and friendly staff. Ordered the Thai milk bubble tea Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream to try and it was way too sweet. The presentation is definitely meant to be instagrammable. Probably worth trying at least once.

Yelp
So fun! Why has this combo not been thought of before?!? Bubble tea + ice cream??? Amazinggg. I love that you can really customize the tea, tapioca/grass jelly/other, and ice cream or swirl with two flavors. Here's what I tried: - Taro / Matcha swirl: Match flavor was good, but the Taro tasted more like plain vanilla ice cream. Didn't have enough of that earthy taro flavor I absolutely adore. - Vietnamese Coffee / Earl Grey: A FAVORITE. I love these two flavors and love even more that I can combine them. Both are strong and delicious! Hoping to try the Thai tea ice cream next! Also the staff are PHENOMENAL at the tall swirl. I hate when it's non-IG influencers visiting and they do a mediocre flat swirl. But this place does it beautifully!

Yelp
I actually find this place to be one of the more value "Instagram-able" ice cream places here. For around $12 you actually get a decent amount of soft serve ice cream that comes with 4 toppings that are not only sprinkled on the top but mixed in the mason jar itself. For one mason jar, I definitely could have shared this with one or two other people, so price wise it's actually VERY value given the amount of ice cream you get. Overall the soft serve options are pretty good, ranging from traditional flavors like strawberry to the more unique ones like earl grey. Getting to keep the mason jar afterwards was a nice added plus as well! I ordered the earl grey/strawberry swirl ice cream with caramel, Reese's puff cereal, and a cookie. By myself I wasn't able to finish it, but they offered a cap to close the mason jar, and I was able to take it home and refreeze it for later.

Yelp
A big advantage to this spot is that they close at midnight so you can satisfy your sugar cravings or end a late dinner with dessert. I wasn't a big fan of the drink or boba as a topping, but the soft-serve was amazing. I went for a floatea because of the catchy name and to get the best of both worlds (boba and soft serve). I wasn't too impressed with the boba as it was simply chewy without flavor. The liquid felt pretty standard maybe even powdery, but it only took up 30% of the cup. Then, 70% of the cup was a delicious soft serve. I got a swirl with taro and matcha - both the flavors were very much present.

Yelp
So yummy and not too sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment)! They give you loads of ice cream and it always looks so cute. I risk the consequences of my lactose intolerance everytime for this
