The restaurant is in a food court corner. Friendly staff, fast service. The food is fresh and hot. Good average price. For 2 person about $62. They serve hot tea. I enjoy the chicken dumplings the most. I will come back.

Been coming here for years and that’s saying something !!! Would come here with my wife for lunch and also with workmates. Glad they remained open during COVID and especially being able to survive that period. This is a family owned business and hosts are very welcoming. I seem to always get the usual and get something different occasionally. This time we ordered the: Sashimi plate Rock and roll Spicy crunch salmon Avocado roll Mimosa (fried roll) -plus Hot tea is included Would recommend you try this place out. They are inside Westmount square foot court and are only open during the day until 6pm.

I enjoyed trying the lobster pizza. It was tasty and pretty filling. I had the salad, salmon Tartar and some Sushi rolls. It was all good. Service was also very good.

Solid, busy sushi lunch spot with good service. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Will go again.

I love sushi and I have tried almost all the famous sushi places in Montreal and this place always delivers fresh sushi with reasonable price. You get to enjoy fresh sushi without having to pay premium. Both in dining and delivery services are excellent. Other than the sushi, a must order is the miso cod grill. The tempura is also good.

Really great very high quality. Reasonable price for the quality of the sushi. Hamachi is always very fresh and delicious. The green salad is very tasty and bright. The only draw back is the service is just ok. The younger waitress is super over it. The other wait staff, especially the slightly older lady are really nice and welcoming. If not for the service I'd give it five stars.

What started as a tiny Sushi counter, some 20 odd years ago, has grown into a Sushi cult following, now with tables and full service. Fresh and made to order...find that in a typical mall food court...I dare you...this Sushi will leave you hooked, like a binge worthy Netflix show. My absolute favourite was the crunchy Tuna. The Lobster pizza was a close second. Order in or to go...you won’t be disappointed. Go a few time and you will recognize familiar faces.

Love this place! Very fresh sushi, attentive service, friendly staff who treats everyone equally well and great prices! They have a wide range of tasty choices and they keep the place well staffed and quite clean! Yesterday I went back there with my daughter and two friends, we were all very pleased with the food and friendly efficient service. Thanks Jason for following in the tradition of your dad by offering your clients good Sishi!

Yelp
For fast food sushi, this isn't bad at all. It's in the Westmount food court. Kind of pricey but it's to be expected (hello, Westmount). Fish was fresh, nothing to complain about. Service is also fine, I'd say a notch up from food court dining, as they have a separated area that feels a bit more resto-like.

Yelp
Writing a second review after eating here 4 years later. This place has incredible food. Seriously. Never had such good chicken teriyaki in my life. Comes sizzling in a cast iron with delicious browned and crispy broccoli, carrots, etc. I've never had anything like it. Rarely do I see chicken teriyaki marinated, and with this one it's unbelievably tender and has such a strong flavor all the way through the meat. The sauce is heavenly, it's an experience to be had. The maki deluxe roll was also super creative and delicious. Perfect ratios and inspiring, bright flavors with the mango and crab. My only critique would be the rice, which is an 8/10 in my opinion. It's a little too porous and lacks seasoning, however with what you're putting in or on it, it's hardly noticeable. Just being harsh on one of my all time favs.

Yelp
Sushi Bar Kim is a little gem of a sushi bar right in your neighborhood! The sushi is always fresh and delicious and the service is friendly and fast. I've tried many of their dishes and the quality is unparalleled. And the dishes are very reasonable priced as well. Wow, I'm so impressed and you will be too.

Yelp
This is a small sushi place in the westmount plaza. We ordered takeout, and it was ready within 30 minutes despite being super busy. For reference, it's probably better to call early in the day to avoid a wait. They have a huge variety of rolls, even with rice paper or soya paper. There's quite a few fancy ones, even with lobster! And of course theres the bastardized versions the are deep fried, and the sushi pizzas which are slightly trashy but soooo good. So it isnt traditional by any means but it's still very good. They actually have a pretty wide variety of ingredients, like hamachi, albacore, ikura, etc. I was surprised, most places dont have ikura, i find. We got a salmon kamikaze, 2 ikura nigiri, a rock n roll, a cruncy spicy tuna maki, and an ocean roll (fancy, with asparagus and lobster). My favorite was definitely the rock n roll. They gave us plenty of wasabi and ginger. My only complaint is that the seaweed salad was actually a salad with seaweed? Wasnt expecting that.

Yelp
My soup and my friends salad were supper tasty and fresh. Service was great, the dishes are a nice size and the Toro Sashimi was super fresh and the texture was excellent. I really enjoyed the place. It is a bit hidden inside the Westmount Square Food Court. In case that you would be like me trying to find were is located, I tough was inside one of the towers ans not necessarily inside the food court, where actually is...

Yelp
I don't know why I haven't reviewed this place already, since it's my favourite sushi in town. Everything is incredibly fresh and tasty. I could have their salmon grill or salmon teriyaki for lunch everyday and never get bored. Even their miso soup (a dish I generally pass) is amazing. This is THE place to go to for sushi or grilled salmon.

Yelp
Walking through the food court at Westmount Square amoung all the standard food court places you see Sushi Bar Kim, a small restaurant with a sushi bar and seatting area. Your first thought may be "I'm not about to risk it on a no name sushi place in a food court". Although I understand that logic you'd be completely wrong. Sushi Kim is a hidden gem, one if the best sushi restaurants in Montreal. They have a good selection of standard sushi along with some very nice house specialties and all of the rolls at Sushi Kim are available with an option of rice paper instead of seaweed. One thing to note is that one of their chefs recently left to start his own restaurant, Park, and I'm not yet certain if his departure has affected the quality of the food at Kim as I have not eaten there frequently since he left. This is the only reservation keeping me from giving them 5 stars.

Yelp
I'm a semi regular here as I live and work nearby. For food court sushi, it is pretty darn amazing. Miso soup is delicious. They have a wide selection of creative rolls and everything is always super fresh. Personal favourites are the spicy salmon and the seaweed salad.

Yelp
I've tried several sushi places and so far this is the best hidden gem in all Montreal. The ingredients are fresh, they put very little rice (which I like because of the healthy lifestyle) and they fill you in with veggies and fish. Their service is very candid and polite. If you are in the area, it's worth to visit them and enjoy the lovely Japanese sushi bar theme they have as decoration.

Yelp
One chilly day, we(I was with my 2 little sons) need some place to hide from cold outside. We got into the underground-westmount square- Actually I live in westmount but I hardly use this mall, so I couldn't find this restaurant. We took 3orders of salmon sushi and chicken deriyaki and 4 deep fried shrimps to go. That was really fresh and tempting. The container also very solid, so that can kept my foods thoroughly on my way home, they gave us salad and miso soup as a side dish, which was quite filling. That was enough for tree of us to share. I think they understand how to cook rice. I think this place is also the one of the precious places in Westmount.

Yelp
The best sushi in Montreal. Totally fresh and exquisitely presented. The ambiance is in westmount square but the sushi is truly excellent

Yelp
Kim sushi bar... is the only sushi place in Montreal that gets 5 stars consistently. . never disappointed. . always perfect and always exact what you crave when you are killing for epic sushi... Montreal is my 23 place I have lived in North America. .. Kim sushi is one of those place you remember when you leave.. and if I came back to Montreal again... on my list of places to hit before departure. . signed a very large American man.

Yelp
This is, hands down, the absolute best sushi place (not counting the fancy shmancy or seaside places). It's a bit hidden because it's located inside a higher end grocery store (that they also own), but once you find it, it's like a hidden gem that you either want to keep for yourself or show off to the whole world. I kid you not, I make the trip down to Montréal whenever I can, just to eat here. The owners are such good people, and their great characters show through the carefully prepared dishes, which by the way are also presented in generous proportions.

Yelp
I like soup noodles and I am usually not very picky about noodles and I understand this is fast food environment but I am very disappointed with what I got. I was very hungry when I come here and ordered a seafood ramen (10.95$). The seafood part is ok but the noodle and the soup taste worst than the instant noodle that I cook myself at home. I really think that they gave me a pack of instant noodle (I can see some powder on the side of the bowl) and add some seafood into the soup. It is fine if they tell me that they don't have the noodle and ask me to order something else but it is not fine to give me some instant noodle (bad quality ones on top of that) and claim that it is japanese ramen.
