Sushi by M is a great place for quality omakase but with a very different (and fun) atmosphere from what you'd typically expect. The staff bring their full personality to the job and get to know the customers who dine, going the extra mile to make sure people have a fun time. We got the larger course option and enjoyed each bite! They have sake and drinks available.

Best Omakase We had $100 omakase. It’s very well worth with very single dollar that you paid!! Starting with 2 appetizers, following with 15 pieces of nigiri and ending with 1 handroll. Each bite has their own unique flavor with different garnishes and sauces. We also got big max; wagyu with otoro uni and kizami wasabi on top, and cheese burger; Japanese cheesecake with seared otoro uni and caviar. These 2 bites is amazing, melting in your mouth. Omakase is served at sushi bar. It’s quite busy most of the time. I highly recommend you to make reservations in advance. They are also offering a la carte at the regular table.

Try this spot if you are new to the omakase scene as it is more on the affordable side with their $69 and $100 offering with average selections and presentation. Try this spot for casual dates and if you are on the younger age group. This place is not the kind for impress your girl type of mature and elegant environment and if you want to show off that you can afford expensive sushi. It is more for your “bro” friends and zoned friends especially if you don’t mind chefs buzzed from all the sake and alcohol shots to appeal to certain customers. If you want them sober or just had one or two shots, go early. Fair warning for the ladies, when those shots start pouring in, watch your men. Some of the Asian lassies get too comfortable 😇💁🏻‍♂️😈

The sushi quality is so nice! I love the seared anko & aji, that is so creative that I don't eat it anywhere else. The other sushi is very sweet and fresh too. You can see the chef Tim is very passionate about his food. That makes us appreciate the food even more. The service is nice too, they often check how we are doing. The deco & vibe is more on the casual side but the chef make the atmosphere fun! I would recommend to come for a reason price yet high quality omakase!

Wow what a very nice and considerate place to enjoy a sushi night out. I love the service here and the quality of the sushi. I’ve literally never experienced anything like this and they even brought my friend a nigiri layered for his BIRTHDAY! Would come again for their incredible deals, service, and food!

The entire dining experience here at Sushi By M was amazing! The omakase was of excellent quality and the staff were great from the moment we walked through the door especially Reda. After learning it was my birthday she and the team gave me a few different little birthday treats on the house. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

We make a last minute reservation here before a Saturday concert. We had no expectations, except we were looking for a lower priced omakase. My husband and I got the $100 omakase and it was great! We were very pleased with their selection and preparation and service. The staff were all very attentive, introducing each piece of sushi. I had asked for no wasabi (I know, gasp! But the flavor just rubs me the wrong way) and they didn't mess that up once! I've actually come up expect a mistake at least once, but they were on it. I love to see that. I'd definitely come back again. My favorites were the: hotate (scallop), kinmeda (goldeneye snapper), the ebi (shrimp) and the kumamoto oyster with ikura

Our party of 8 booked a reservation for the bar seats on our last day in NYC and we had an AMAZING time! Service: First, I want to give a shout out to our sushi chef Leo, and our servers Stella and Bebe! Our servers were incredibly attentive and personable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our large party and made our experience very entertaining. Ambiance: The ambiance inside is very light and bright. There were many high bar seats for Omakase and several low, 2-4 person tables. The bathroom was very clean. Food: Our whole party booked the $100 Omakase which included 2 appetizers, 15 pieces, and 1 Torataku hand toll— great for the price! My favorites from the menu were the Chu Toro Truffle, Hokkaido Uni, and the A5 Wagyu Beef with Uni and Foie Gras. I really appreciated that they encouraged us to request whether to have more/less rice, soy sauce, wasabi, etc. Our group also ordered 3 bottles of Sake and by the end of the dinner, we were all full with a good buzz going haha. I wish I had come in hungrier so I could have ordered their “Big Mac” add-on! Overall: Great price for this Omakase, and excellent servers and chefs! I’d love to come back next time we come visit again!

We made a sushi bar reservation for 2 for our anniversary dinner. And honestly, we couldn't have picked a better place for this special occasion. Chef Jeff treated us to an AMAZING omakase experience. The quality of the fish was beyond what I've had before, and each piece came so well crafted with few special ingredients that blended so nicely in our mouth. We thoroughly enjoyed the really sweet hokkaido uni, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu with uni, and the most nicely marbled __ toro topped with caviar. Highly recommend the 18-pieces which was the right amount of excellent sushi for us, and still reasonably priced for the high quality pieces it comes with. Chef Jeff was very interactive and friendly through this experience. He told us about what we were eating, got to know us, and shared some fun stories and jokes. He also surprised us a special sushi at the end since we were celebrating our anniversary. He overall made this experience even more memorable, and we will definitely be coming back to Sushi by M (and hopefully Chef Jeff!)

Very affordable omakase with extra add on's if you're not full. I've been here twice and both times the experience was memorable. From the food to the friendly chefs (if you sit at the counter). The first time I came here there was a Father's Day special and the second time I had the pleasure of having chef Tim himself entertaining us. Both times I got the $100 omakase and both times I had picky people with me and they exclaimed they had wow bites. The second time I went with a girlfriend who couldn't eat everything on the omakase menu and she didn't have a large appetite. Luckily the chef and staff were able to accommodate even though we sat at the counter. They are consistently busy but not over crowded. It's still very intimate. This place was originally recommended to me by a friend who first came here when it was just a small space with no alcohol.

Not only is he a master at creating sushi that is both visually stunning and delicious, but he also took the time to teach me how to make my very first hand roll. His patience and expertise added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Second night- Owner Tim is not only a gracious host but also an incredible sushi chef in his own right. His passion for the art of sushi truly shines through in every bite. The artisan sushi crafted here is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, leaving an unforgettable impression. And lets not talk about the Saki and Asahi beer...But we can! If you're in NYC and craving sushi that goes beyond just a meal--becoming a true culinary journey--Sushi by M, with Tim and Jeff at the helm, is the place to be. I can't wait to return!

My friends and I had an absolute blast at Sushi by M on a Friday night. We made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance, and were seated promptly. The servers were friendly and they kept the sake flowing the whole night! Our chef for the night was Bill and he was super interactive, charismatic, and kept us entertained for our dinner. Each course was fabulously curated; a few favorites were the hamachi, botan ebi, and the A5Uni. The ambiance was a bit more casual, but still perfect for an intimate night or a fun dinner with friends.

Had such an amazing birthday experience here! So thankful for all the staff for providing excellent service and conversation. Special shoutout to Eric and the chef that served us. We had the 15 piece omakase which came with two appetizers and one toro hand roll for $100, completely worth it! The dishes were delicious and unique. Our favorites of the night were the Hokkaido scallop, toro with caviar, shima aji with monkfish liver, wagyu with uni. and two different types of snapper nigiri. My boyfriend also liked uni for the first time after having it here when he's disliked it countless times prior. The different types of flavors and textures with each course made the experience so fun and enjoyable. I loved every part of it. By the end of the meal I was so full that I couldn't breathe. The chef even surprised me afterwards with a little birthday "cake" made of sashimi and some complimentary sake shots. Definitely recommend this place, especially for special occasions.

This is a fantastic omakase spot that has stood the test of time. With reasonable prices, it's an excellent choice for sushi lovers. The special sushi selections are perfect for enhancing your experience. The sushi chefs are not only skilled but also interactive and entertaining, often pouring sake at your table. Every visit is a delightful and enjoyable experience!

the $100 option, very affordable for 15 pieces, two appetizers, 15 pieces, and a hand roll. it was just a little more filling than the 12 pieces, but i still went out to eat a mango dessert and piece of pizza a couple hours after finishing eating. the fish quality got better as the night went on, meaning as they brought the later ones out, it was really good. since we had a table of 6, we made a reservation beforehand and also got brought out 4 pieces at a time, not the usual one being made in front of you one at a time. i would definitely come again, maybe for a nicer dinner, but it's not like finer dining omakase where the chef is hand making the pieces for you in front of you, its more like an assembly line of chefs who don't interact with you.

I came here with two sushi snob friends (their words, not mine) to celebrate their trip to New York City and they were so impressed. We accidentally went while there was a Father's Day promotion and got 20% off all our purchases which was amazing, so obviously we upgraded to the most expensive omakase option. The food was amazing and the chef that took his time to explain each piece and chat with us a bit. It made the experience feel really personal and our waitress was very attentive. It's a small seating area, sort of like a train car shape, but it was a good experience. We left feeling full and very happy, which is probably the most important part of omakase. Definitely planning to go again soon!

Great staff, friendly, and they gave us so much sake. We got the $100 omakase and we give it a 6/10. There was simply too much soysauce or sauce in them that we couldn't appreciate the fish.

Walked in during lunch and had no trouble getting seated. Had a great experience here. The omakase is a fantastic value but what really made this experience for me was the sushi chef. We sat at the bar and our sushi chef was very engaging. Had a great time chatting with him as he maintained a good pace between each piece. I would recommend checking this place out.

Omakase with this price is amazing. The fish is all fresh and all sushi are very creative. They gave us little sake shots sometimes.. loved it. Great friendly service . It's easy place to stop by. Wanna go back again.

Surprisingly big place in east village. Started with hot green tea which i could tell was quality stuff. Ordered the $69 omakase and it was just what we wanted. There was 1-2 sushi that i didnt care too much about but it was still good. I like that the yuzu salmon handroll at the end was like a light palate cleanser almost. They dont skimp on the fish portion. More fish to rice ratio. Definitely recommend this for girls/date night or group of friends. Friendly service and knowledgeable too.

A good omakase place for a good price! We ordered a set and got seated at the sushi bar, which I preferred. We did make a reservation beforehand so I didn't expect to wait on the table. However, not a deal breaker. We went in the daytime when they just opened. The interior is what I'd expect a sushi place to look like. The omakase was enjoyable, although not the best I've had. Everything was just good but not mind-blowing. The chef didn't really interact with us since the sushi bar is bigger and he's busy, so understandable. I think I would've preferred a cozier setting (but it's my preference). A decent experience overall.

I visited Sushi by M on my last day visiting New York before my flight. This was the BEST omakase experience I have ever experienced in my life! Thank you to the chef that worked on the morning after St. Patrick's day you were so welcoming and kind! The manager came and checked up on us a lot, and I was gifted some free uni!! I also got to meet the owner as well. The place is very clean, very chic, I am definitely coming again!! The price was amazing, considering the service we received. The fish here was so fresh, everything was so good.

Sushi / Omakase in a class of its own. Sushi by M offers an array of very fresh fish and other proteins that few sushi restaurants in NYC offer. With family, we thoroughly enjoyed the 12-piece Omakase along with a delicious dessert of multi-layer crepe cake and a tasty chilled sake. As I do not eat shellfish, the chef-owner agreeably allowed substitutions. Sitting at the bar allowed us to watch as the highly skilled staff sliced and prepared each piece. Each was specifically seasoned with soy sauce, wasabi and other ingredients by the chef allowing us to fully absorb the subtle flavors of the rice and proteins instead of the heavy doses of wasabi and soy sauce that often mask the key ingredients as is common at "neighborhood" sushi restaurants. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I did see it appear on many omakase lists on tiktok and online. My boyfriend and I decided to go for a lunch reservation because they offer the same menu throughout the day and we had prior arrangements for later on in the day. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who showed us to our seats at the counter and introduced us to the menu. We had already decided to go for the $100 17-course omakase since we did want to feel full. We had Chef Hiro, who was extremely friendly and made conversation with us throughout the lunch. He explained each piece to us and told us his favorite cuts of fish. Our favorite courses would have to be chutoro with truffle, striped jack with monkfish liver, toro sturgeon caviar, and A5 wagyu with uni and foie gras. Our hostess came over and gave us a thorough powerpoint presentation with pictures of their specials along with details of what is in each piece. It would be great if they had this printed out with detail of the ingredients because it was very overwhelming to remember what each piece has (there are over 10 specials). All of them looked great, but we decided to each get a big mac which had two layers of uni with two layers of A5 wagyu ($25 each). The restaurant looked clean and welcoming, I like the use of Clase Azul bottles as decor, since it is my favorite tequila. I would definitely visit the restaurant again, maybe during dinner time. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the manager and hostess came over to check up on us multiple times. Overall, it was a memorable omakase experience that I would recommend.

If you're looking for a casual omakase experience with amazing service, good value, and tasty bites, then Sushi by M is where you want to be! I highly recommend reserving seats at the bar to watch the chefs in action. The 12-course omakase set ($69) featured classics like uni and tuna, as well as premium pieces like toro sturgeon caviar (a spectacular flavor bomb btw.)  We loved the surprise: A gorgeous sashimi birthday cake! With the birthday verse from 50 Cent's In Da Club booming in the background, the atmosphere became even more fun and energetic. Overall, staff seemed warm, attentive, and sociable. Big thank you to our passionate sushi chef for making our visit extra special and memorable :)

For an upper mid-tier sushi place in price they could have at least had decent rice. Waitress was friendly but sushi chef was quiet and not very skilled in preparing the omakase. Ambiance was meh. I would not go here again if I wanted good omakase for $100. If you are trying to impress someone who knows nothing about sushi and could not get into a decent place then this will do.

I'm tell you $100 omakase is a great price in NYC! In Houston, omakase is $200+ for smallass portions and crappy! This place.. lotsa great fish with a great price. I'd go back here again! No doubt! People are friendly here also! Food speaks for itself

Lunch on a Saturday was the perfect break. We got there right at 12 and was quickly taken care of. The fish was so tasty and fresh. Love the interaction between the sushi chef and us, he was so kind and funny! I ordered the 12pc and my partner ordered the 16pc. Chef kindly threw in some upgrades pieces like Uni from Hokkaido for me even though I didn't not upgrade to the 16pc menu. They have have cute names for their special such as chicken nugget, big Mac and others, seem like they really like Mickey D's We noticed the crowd grew around 1pm which can make it harder to have a conversation but other than that, everything was amazing! Bathroom was clean too! Would love to go back!

I'm gonna be honest, I was never a nigiri/sashimi lover because sometimes, raw fish is too much for me texturally. Nonetheless, as it was my first real trip in the Big Apple with friends, I sucked it up and did the $69 Omakase experience at Sushi by M. Loved it!!! The mixture of flavors designed to compliment each piece of fish, the presentation, and the restaurant itself were all great. Some pieces were a miss, such as the raw shrimp and the wagyu and uni (as agreed by my entire group), but everything else was spectacular. For the price, this was very worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

High quality and fairly priced sushi! Met my friend here on a Friday night - she had made a reservation in advance (seemed busy, probably not a place to walk in) We did the smaller tasting menu and I throughly enjoyed every bite. The fish was fresh and high quality, and they even offered us a few complimentary sake pours on the house. Seating here is mostly sushi bar - not the most comfortable but definitely a fun experience.

Absolutely mouth-watering & high quality fish! I loved the Omakase here! It was $68 for 12 course and I enjoyed everything that they served. I especially liked the fatty tuna with caviar on top and the wagyu with uni on top. My friend and I had a reservation for 6PM but they happily accommodated us when we came a hour earlier. I would definitely come back to try their premium Omakase with 17 pieces!

I gotta share about my first time at Sushi by M - it was seriously amazing! We went for the 17-piece Omakase, a steal at $100. I was buzzing to finally try Kinmadai, been on my foodie bucket list forever. Seriously, every piece of fish was like an ocean party in my mouth - so fresh! Uni rocked my world, no surprise there. Guess what? We hit up this joint on our anniversary, and they surprised us with a killer Heart Hamachi tartare. The crew was a blast, super friendly and funny. Major shoutout for trying to turn my boyfriend into an Omakase fan - hilarious! Bottom line, awesome experience! Can't wait to swing by again for another anniversary bash.

I was visiting NY for the very first time and am glad to have experienced Sushi by M! The food and service were nothing short of amazing! My family and I opted for the $100 Omakase Set, which included 17 courses. We're from San Francisco, so to have that many courses for only $100 is a steal. Omakase in SF usually ranges from $150-$250 for less courses for comparison. They started us off with an oyster and marinated baby octopus which was really good and refreshing. After that, we got what felt like endless nigiri. All the pieces were beautifully presented and honestly really good. My favorites of the night were definitely the scallop, truffle chu toro and toro with caviar. We were honestly stuffed by the end of the meal. It was the perfect amount of food. Service was spectacular. Our chef was very interactive with us and super nice! And the hosts/ servers checked up on us frequently. They offered us a free shot after we finished our bottle of sake. The owner M also happened to be there. We got to take a photo with him but only after we took a shot with him! It was honestly an experience dining at Sushi by M rather than just a dinner. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time I'm in NY!

3.7 overall Always wanted to try this place since so many good things were told from others. Came here for bday celebration with bestie. We ordered the 12 pics omakase. They gave us A5 Wagyu instead of A4 & Hokkaido Uni which was only suppose to be available with the 17 pcs. Service were great. Free bday sushi cake. My favorite: Toro slurgeon Caviar, A5 Waqyu Beef w/ Uni, & Hamachi Everything else was just okay in my opinion. Salmon w/ yuzu -was a little light for me (had better) Eel w/ avocado- very basic in my opinion and should not be on the menu (I can just order that to go anywhere) -Was expecting a "WOW" moment for most pieces but didn't.

My first omikase experience! Price is unbearable, vibes are more casual than other omikase experiences, and the offerings are fresh, filling, and exciting. We went with the 17 piece option, but they also offer a 12 and additional add on options. This unpretentious spot will allow substitutions and changes according to your preference which is rare for this dining style, so I highly recommend if you're trying for the first time or unsure about certain fishes. Service was friendly, even paced, and understanding. My favorite bites were the Akamizuke, the As Wagyu Beefwl Uni & Foie Gras, and the Bbq Eel Avocado.

Ok! Let's go with 17 different kinds plus a surprise birthday treat (more sashimi topped with a little candle) and cheeseburger sushi. Total cost was about $100 each plus al carte (cheeseburger, drinks, etc) Kumamoto Oyster + Ikura - very flavorful as ikura burst to bring extra flavor out after oyster taste. Hamachi (YELLOWTAIL) - great warm up to many tasting coming up! Good taste as hamachi tasted very fresh! Kanpachi - a tease of fish type with a hint of spiciness but it wasn't so spicy. It did elevate the taste of fish itself! Akamizuke (tuna) - it bought me back to Hawaii where ahi tastes amazing and fresh. I was impressed as it is doable in NYC! bai (red snapper) - white meat fish and it was impressive than I expected. Hard to say what sauce the sushi chef used but it blends so well with this! Chu Toro w/ Truffle - very rich and flavorful in a bite! This chu toro just melts in your mouth like butter! Truffle is a great addition! Botan Ebi (spotted prawn) - typical but tastes great with their touch of soy sauce on it. Shiro Ebi w/ Sturgeon Caviar - can't say more than this... great use of shrimp topped with caviar to elevate the palate! Japanese Seasonal Fish - forgot what was it but it was great as the chef delivered it on the plate. It depends on season for what type of fish. Hotate (Scallop) - beautifully presented and cut for more flavor to be steeped in and topped with a little of some kind of black salt. Shima Aji - seared and smoky monkfish liver topped on either yellow fish or hamachi sashimi which was amazing!!! King Salmon (New Zealand salmon) - good ol' salmon, tasted fresh topped with a refreshing taste of some light sauce (lemony?). Hokkaido Uni - it just melts in your mouth like butter, which was very good! It means uni was very fresh! It wasn't chewy or fishy. Toro Caviar - amazing like butter melting in your mouth then topped with caviar swirling in as you taste all. Surely a firework in mouth! Of course toro was seared a bit which makes it very delicious! Albacore Tuna - seared tuna topped with a little of spicy sauce. Delicious as well! Wagyu Beef with Uni & Foie Gras - interesting combination but yet good tasting after many great tastes! Bbq Eel Avocado - smokiness and tasteful! Cheeseburger - great combination of sashimi variety (variety of fish, caviar, uni) and a piece of Japanese cheesecake! I kid you not, it may come off weird but it was amazing as you taste all in one bite! Ambiance was so nice. The staff all were very hospitality and accommodating to our foodie adventure. I'd come back to stretch my buck for more sushi courses!

I had the omakase (17 pieces) and the more I have it the more I realize I'm a huge tuna person and love toro! The toro, caviar on the sushi, and the wagyu with uni were my favorites (pictures below). Made a reservation beforehand for dinner and the chefs were extremely friendly and made the experience fun!

Sooooo good. We got the 12 piece (smaller version) for $69. They have an extended version with 17 pieces for $100 but came in already kind of full so deferred that this time. Favorites: salmon - torched flavor blended so well with acidity of yuzu sauce and lemon juice on top Toro with caviar - soooo rich and fatty holy crap. Luxurious Scallop - the scallop is so creamy and buttery!!! So perfect Wagyu with uni - omg. You could taste both the beefiness AND the briny/seafood flavor of the uni at the same time and they complemented each other so well Would definitely come back and try the 17 piece! Service was also on point

Fun spot for a date night and it's BYOB! The staff was nice and it was a busy night. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar if you can. Great fish, just a little overpriced in my opinion.

I was finally able to check off Sushi By M on my to do list! I've heard a lot about their omakase and they definitely didn't disappoint. A 12 piece omakase for $69? Completely worth it! Apparently there are two stores, and the one we went to was the bigger/newer location. It's a bit noisier, but not to an unbearable level. There's plenty of bar and table seating here. The omakase was omakaseing, and my favorites were the botan ebi, toro sturgeon caviar, and the wagyu with uni! We also ended off by buying some oysters with ikura, which was a perfect finish! The chef and staff were also super nice and accommodating. I would definitely come back!

Found the omakase to be mediocre. Service was good but food wasn't the best I had. Would I return again? Probably not, but overall 3 stars

My first time here I had a great experience at the bar. The second time I brought a group of friends who never had omakase before and wanted them to have a great experience. I made reservations online for a group of 5 assuming we would be sat at the bar so we can watch and interact with the chef. Upon arrival I was informed we were going to be seated at the tables because the bar is full. I wished they would have told me earlier so I can request the bar or have the option of reserving bar seating online. The courses were brought out on a plate instead of the chef individually placing each course on your plate and explaining what fish it is. The fish quality is still very good but I felt like we missed out on the omakase experience by not sitting at the bar.

This place is AMAZING! I don't write reviews much but I had to give this place 5 stars for their hospitality and quality of food. I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday with the $100 menu, and chef Jeff did an excellent job. Each course was flavorful and MELTS in your mouth. Jeff also let my boyfriend torched up the wagyu piece! They also gave him a birthday gift, the "fish cake" which was extra little rolls with a birthday candle on it and everyone sang happy birthday to him. These extra gestures made us feel extra special and happy! Each piece was beautifully presented and showcased the chef's skill and attention to detail. The pacing was also perfect-- each course flowed seamlessly into the next, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Literally one of the BEST omakase restaurants I've been to.

Loved this place! The sushi was so fresh, so delicious, and the price is so reasonable for getting 18 pieces! This is the place that I always recommend to everyone who loves a good omakase.

My boyfriend & I opted for the $100 17 piece omakase, along with three extras: 6 kumamoto oysters to start, the big mac (wagyu/uni/pate combo) & the viagra shooter (alcoholic oyster shot). The $100 set and the starter oysters brought me pure joy. Every bite was delicious and fresh - my favorites being the amberjack, ebi, and scallop :) I've heard from others that the basic set was a bit underwhelming, but I was really impressed by the larger set! As for the big mac/viagra shooter - they were tasty, but nothing special that would be worth the extra $ in my opinion. Our server (not the chef) made us feel a bit uncomfortable towards the end, making some interesting comments to my boyfriend about us being on a date and pressuring us to buy more add-ons. Our discomfort towards the end of the meal along with the okay-ness of our add-ons is the reason I'm giving a 4! Overall, I really liked how the atmosphere was more casual & how our chef asked us questions/interacted with us! I would consider coming back despite the large amount of omakase restaurants to choose from in NYC.

Came in because I've never had omakase and my friend recommended this place as an affordable omakase. Overall it was a good experience but I was expecting more of an "experience" per se. We sat at a table so it was basically a standard sushi restaurant experience except you only get one of each piece and the waiter explained what the sushi was. The menu options are set and comes out in three plates. I felt the first two were just typical cuts of sushi, though the last plate had some interesting flavors and ingredients (including uni, peppercorn, and caviar). One thing I sorely regret is ordering the tuna and avocado bowl. Our waiter recommended it and we ordered it thinking the omakase might not be filling enough and the bowl turned out to be a small portion of chopped tuna with some avocado. This thing was like $30 for some reason and tbh it's probably just left over pieces from making sushi. I think between the three of us, we each had two bites of tuna - so much for filling our stomachs.

Came here to celebrate my birthday, the food was high quality and tasted amazing at a reasonable price. The ambiance of the restaurant was spacious and clean, though bathroom cleanliness can be improved. The staff asked for everyone's dietary restrictions as they took the orders. Services from the staff was one of the most friendly and considerate from a restaurant I've received in NYC. For my birthday, they asked what was my favorite fish and curated a birthday sushi "cake". I am so grateful for making the day feel so special and would highly recommend.
