"Sushi de Handroll is now open in The Hill development at Walnut Hill Lane in North Dallas. The Japanese restaurant is focused on tempura and temaki (those crispy seaweed rolls filled with raw fish, rice, and veggies). Sushi de Handroll enters a competitive hand roll landscape with unique offerings like 'sushi tacos' served open faced in metal taco holders. Temaki sets start at three for under $10 and five for less than $15 at lunch, including miso soup. Dinner offers several omakase options that range from just under $20 to $24. Themes like 'Surf & Turf' or 'Meat Lovers' include hand rolls and tempura appetizers. The restaurant features a graffiti-style mural by Charu and is managed by Momo Do. Owner Mai Takase serves as executive chef." - Rachel Pinn

I’ll tell you what I really like about this place and what they could improve on! The hand rolls are amazing. Like, they are delicious . We got the ocean hand roll menu, and everything was perfection! Was so hard to pick a favorite! My friend really loved the salmon avocado. If I had to pick a favorite, I would pick salmon belly roll! It’s one of their “specials” off menu And SO Worth the try! It was delicious! I also love how they brought out his sake in this little cup and poured a little more in this container! I’ve seen this at one other place! Now what I really think they could really improve on is they presentation! Because each of the handrolls is so unique, I really think they could kick it up a notch with presentation! But I think the staff is great, the chef came and talked to us about the rolls, what he puts in then for an extra “punch”. And actually when we left, it was pouring rain and one of the waiters walked us out to the car with the umbrella in the pouring rain! Top notch service!

Google
You have got to go! Their rice game and fish game is on point! And the items so tasty and good. Way beyond what you would ever imagine with the name of the restaurant. Japanese chef Mai and her team will take great care of you. An a shout out to Naomi for excellent care which made the experience even better

Google
The food is delicious but the service is really weak. I would have given 5 stars but I had to subtract 2 for paltry service. I had the miso soup, shrimp and veg tempura. My wife had sushi and the roll was pretty loose. They don't do the traditional sushi with the roll in a bamboo mat. Very delicious but the service took forever. We were there before 6pm so it wasn't busy but the service was still disorganized. I hope they improve their service because the food is delicious.

A true hidden gem! Tucked inside the renovated shopping center on Walnut and Central expressway, this amazing restaurant is a bit difficult to find ... But make the effort and you will be glad you did. The quality of fish in this restaurant is top notch. Our evening started with grilled fish, salted salmon belly and yellowtail collar. Perfect! Then we ordered the sashimi plate. Sensational! Finally, when in Rome do as the Romans and when in Sushi de Handroll order some handrolls!!! We got the negihama and toro. Out of this world! The hand rolls were so fresh that the seaweed wrap was still crunchy ( as opposed to soggy at most other restaurants), resulting in amazing textures and flavors. I also really liked the atmosphere in this restaurant. The build-out is warm and friendly. It's a great place for a date or to just come with friends. Amazing dinner for 2 was just $100 which is an amazing value for the quality of fish served.

I certainly will not return. The low prices and happy hour could not even get me to order. They offer a highly limited menu so if you're into options, I would avoid. Open concept was cool, anywhere you sit, you can see the sushi being made (kind of). Small place but potential, just not enough and not used to maximize. Oh and the whole, "we all run the dining area" thing is not a strong suit... Waiting to be served, another table walked in gets served then twice after finally placing orders, we were asked if we had ordered... 😐😐. In conclusion and as everyone else stated, service sucks.

Google
Pros: Fast and friendly service, the staff was attentive throughout our meal. Casual chill atmosphere with pop music playing. The lunch special 11a-4p and happy hour (all day Sunday) pricing is a great deal! 🍱 Food: We got the fried chicken (tori ten) and tempura egg (hajuku jidori) to start and they came out hot and delicious! For lunch mains (both came with miso soup), we had the bento with spicy tuna, veggie tempura, and chicken teriyaki. And the 3 temaki set with salmon avocado, yellow tail (negihama), & eel (una tama kyu). The wasabi is freshly grated and real pickled ginger slices! Cons: -1/2 Star although the fish was fresh, the sushi rice was missing a bite to it. It was most noticeable in the spicy tuna roll as the rice was mashed together in the rolling process. -1/2 star for the bento because it did not come with rice and it wasn’t clearly noted rice would be a separate charge. I’ve never seen a bento box that did not come with rice so was surprised when it was omitted.

Google
I loved the atmosphere here! It's essentially a combination of Studio Ghibli + EDM/upbeat music. There's a lot of Spirited Away references/wall art here so that is a lot of fun if you're a fan. We came during lunch and for lunch, you can essentially choose from 4 rice bowl options (1 being vegetarian) or a sushi combo option (where you pick 2 different rolls). There's also some sides offered as well, like edamame. This is definitely a great place to check out if you want a chill, casual place to eat.

Google
A Pleasant and Casual Japanese Restaurant at The Hill - Welcoming and Friendly Service - Consistently Delicious Texas Beef Skewers, Crunchy Shrimp Tempura Roll, and, Creamy Scallops Handrolls - Creative and Innovative Specials, like their Takoyaki - Great Prices - Do be prepared for periods of long wait for food at times - Understandably everything’s made fresh and there’s plenty of takeout orders being made!!!!

Yelp
The food: OMGosh!!! Delicious, beautiful, artfully created and gently placed in front of me. I enjoyed the mango salmon, madai lemon yuzu, a salmon handroll, a bluefin tuna handroll, and a snow crab handroll, all GLUTEN FREE. My husband enjoyed the happy birthday roll ( beautifully presented with a candle in a champagne flute!!!) and a spider roll. More volume to his, haha. The service: fantastic!!! Chris seated us and helped us order. He and his collegue, Jun, made sure we were content. The ambiance: lovely, not-too-bright setting for couples and small groups. I think it's best to sit at the sushi bar. It's a great date place, a special evening out place, or a "I've got to have some sushi!" place. Chef John was attentive and made beautiful artistic sushi.

Yelp
Oh my goodness i dont even know where to begin. Just know we literally did a day trip from orlando to dallas just to have found our TOP place to go back over and over again. Originally we went to dallas for the day to eat at another handroll place but it did not hit like it used to due to changes in ownership. So we had to come back for dinner and this place was beyond exceptional! All of the staffs were super attentive! They seem like family here. Our personal fav staff was Soma and she was the sweetest korean auntie. You can tell they love their customers and treat everyone like family. Now to talk about the food. You cannot go wrong but our favs were definitely the yellowtail pear and the scallop fois gras. Pro tip is ask them to torch the scallop alittle more for the crunch and youll taste the flavor better. Everything just compliments each other. Our salmon from the ponzu was super fatty so that was a plus. Now the handrolls doesnt have the crunch sadly but i like that they cut in halves so we can each try. We got 6 hanrolls and really love the snow crab, spicy tuna and lobster. There were just so much flavorrr!! Ah im obsessed. Soma was super kind and even let us try their homemade salty toffee ice cream.UGH SOOO SO GOOD. You can taste the just the right about of salt and toffee. Could not take Kome enough. You have truly gained your top spot in our hearts. We will definitely take a day trip back here!

Rachel S.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe. We were sat very quickly at the bar with an amazing view of the chef's art of making fish beautiful. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing and gave us the best recommendations while the chefs were incredible. The fish was very fresh and not fishy at all. Highly recommend the salmon truffle ponzu and toro nigiri if you like truffle, the wagyu melts in your mouth, and you HAVE to try the black cod nigiri. I was so impressed by literally everything and we left crackling up after taking a tequila shot with the chefs:) We will be back very soon. Best dinner experience I've had in a long time.

Samuel D.

Yelp
Don't want, RUN! This place is some of the best sushi I've had in a long time! It was like being back in Japan! The flavor was so good and very well crafted with each roll. From presentation to taste I would give this place a must go to! The service on top of that was fantastic so I can't even complain there. Get there quick cause it can fill up very very fast.

Amy J.

Yelp
This is a date night spot. It's more expensive than I thought it would be given that it has $$ on the Yelp review. I'd say it's at least $$$. Service was very friendly. Food came out fast. Fish was fresh. No Complaints other than I wanted more!

May M.

Yelp
Finally a delicious, fresh, authentic sushi place in Dallas! A friend took me here for dinner and kept raving about how it's one of the best sushi places in town. The cocktails are delicious, and vibrant! We ordered the lychee martinis and cucumber martini. For our entrees, we shared the volcano roll, 6 pcs handroll, spicy tuna and the scallop foie gras. The sushi was delicate, and fresh. Our waitress was fantastic as well, she kept checking up on us throughout the dinner.

Tom L.

Yelp
Kome offers a lively dining experience with plenty of bar seating, allowing you to watch the chefs in action. The layout includes cozy booths and small tables along the walls, perfect for intimate meals. I visited for my birthday celebration, and I was impressed by the freshness of all the fish. I ordered some nigiri sushi, specialty rolls, and scallop, and eggplant. The standout dishes were definitely the scallop foie gras and the toro nigiri--both were exceptional. Sitting at the bar added to the experience; with multiple chefs on hand, it felt like each party had their own personal chef attending to them. This personal touch made the meal even more special. Overall, Kome combines quality food with an engaging atmosphere, making it a great choice for any occasion!

Maleewan K.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dining here recently, and the quality of the nigiri and sashimi was outstanding. The fresh fish selection was top-notch, with highlights including buttery toro and rich, flavorful salmon. Every piece tasted incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in preparation was impressive. My husband opted for the tasting menu, and it was well worth it! Each course was a carefully crafted masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill. From the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the perfectly balanced nigiri, every bite was a delight. Very relaxing & calm ambience. If you're a sushi lover looking for fresh, high-quality fish and an unforgettable tasting menu, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Yelp
10/10 would recommend and want to go back! The food is amazing: high quality, delicious, flavorful, beautiful, and unique! Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind. She did a great job of helping us. The restaurant is also beautiful a very cool interior and not loud plus you can see the chefs making sushi which is very cool!

Nga N.

Yelp
Not bad. I enjoyed the handrolls and sushi. It was actually better than my expectations. Not the best quality fish I've had but for the price I think it's better than most places. Dallas is over saturated with sushi restaurants that I don't have time to repeat them, but I'd come back if I happen to be in the area. Service was good and I like their drinks options.

Crystal F.

Yelp
Incredible service and food. My husband and I met my best friend and her husband for dinner last night. So glad we did. I ordered several Cosmopolitans, and my bestie ordered the Lychee Martini. The Cosmo was so well balanced, not too tart and not too sweet. My husband ordered a bottle of Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon 2021. The ambiance was quaint, vibrant, and cozy. The staff were so kind and inviting. We ordered so much food; my favorite roll was the flamingo roll. The spicy tuna on the flamingo was fire!! My favorite appetizer was the Hamachi Kama. It was well seasoned and seared. My least favorite seared Katsuo with black garlic. The Katsuo sauce was incredible, but the fish was way too fishy and pungent. I highly recommend Kome'. Can't wait to eat here again.

Yelp
I don't know what took me so long to review this place, but if you're thinking about it, JUST GO. DO IT. SIT AT THE BAR. and you can thank me later Every time I go, I usually order a la carte from their special fish menu flown in daily! My must haves every time include the Salmon Belly, Madai, Ama Ebi, and their 3 piece handroll set. The staff and chefs at Kome are super nice and very attentive. They always greet you upon entering and try to get to know each and every one of their customers during the dining experience. The place is very intimate and offer super quick service. Kome always leaves me wanting more and I'm not even mad about that

Rachel J.

Yelp
The handrolls and nigiris are delicious. From my first try in order from favorites: Salmon Belly Toro Nigiri, Toro Nigiri, Ikura Uni, Salmon Handroll, A5 Wagyu Nigiri, Bay Scallop Handroll

Mindy R.

Yelp
Tucked behind Bellagreen and movement gym, Kome is the best kept secret in Dallas!!! This place is a gem. We got there at 5:00 on a Saturday and were sat right away at the bar. This was our second time and it was just as good if not better than our first time which was also 5 star. Exceptional service and incredible sushi, the fish is so fresh. Melt in your mouth fresh! The dishes are perfectly composed and so flavorful (one nigiri was topped with its own liver mousse!). No soy sauce needed...but definitely get the fresh wasabi which is grated in front of you. Everything we had was 10 out of 10. Our absolute favorites this time were: Fish: - Black cod - Aji Chefs menu - Salmon truffle - Hamachi crudo - Yellowtail and pear - Fatty tuna Rolls - Flamingo - spider Worth every Penny!!!!

S B.

Yelp
Amazingly fresh and innovative with excellent service. Intimate bar setting with personable chefs.

Halezyeah ..

Yelp
Wow......... the flavors here are out of this WORLD!!!! I'm from LA and no sushi tastes like this place. We got the handroll set of 6 on soy, for appetizer we got the salmon ponzu truffle and the pear yellowtail tuna. Both literally MELT in your mouth. The best handroll was the crab and if you get the sashimi, keep the sauce for the handrolls! We also tryed the seasonal nigiri and it was amazing... take an recc from the staff. Also the lychee martini is so delicious but very strong (if you're a light weight like me) Every single staff was so helpful and nice. This place is located behind the shops in the parking lot so park and walk to the back. It's small inside but very hip and a good place for date night. It is $$$ but worth it!!!!

Cathy V.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food! I ordered a 6 handroll combo and two nigiri (hotate and black cod) on the side! Really enjoyed the two nigiri that I got but wasn't a huge fan of the spicy tuna handroll personally! Everything else tasted as expected! I made a reservation for the bar area in advance and came a bit earlier than expected! They were accomodating and the service came fast. I really appreciated our waitress she was nice and very helpful! She gave me recommendations and chatted with us! The ambience was nice and a nice nice between relaxed and upscale! It would be a good place for a more casual date night or take your friends!

Ana B.

Yelp
I was so blown away by this place. I know there's a review that says this is the same as the one in Austin but this is a unique establishment in North Dallas. Right off Walnut Hill and 75 the location is in the middle of a shopping center and tucked away - I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go but it made it feel like I found a secret restaurant. The staff is Korean, and they are the friendliest. Because I was on a business trip and dining solo - they treated me to so many freebies (service in Korean) while sitting at the bar. The speciality fish is where it's at. The chef cares so much for the quality of the fish and it's one of the best nigiris I've had. Like other sushi restaurants it's small and quaint - lots of couples when I was there. I would come here once a week if I could (it's a bit pricier, and a drive from Dallas proper but so worth it). Put it on your beaten path list for Dallas!

Nicholas P.

Yelp
Awesome intimate spot with great service! The food was fresh and delicious! There is a large selection of hand rolls, traditional rolls and fresh fish. We wish our stomachs were bigger so we could've eaten more. We will definitely be returning

Ryan R.

Yelp
Overall Rating: 5/5 - would most definitely come back and try more of the menu Our Order: Must Try: Salmon Truffle Sashimi: A melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece, the salmon infused with the earthy aroma of truffle was an unforgettable experience. (10/10) Wagyu Sashimi: A decadent treat, the Wagyu offered unparalleled richness and flavor. (10/10) Eel Hand Roll: The sweet, smoky eel paired perfectly with the crispy rice and seaweed, making for a delightful bite. (9/10) Salmon Belly Nigiri: Fatty and flavorful, the salmon belly offered a satisfyingly rich experience. (9/10) Crab Sushi Uni Butter: : A creamy and decadent treat, the uni butter added a luxurious richness to the fresh crab (8/10) Meh: Kanpachi Shiitake: While fresh, the Kanpachi lacked the wow factor compared to other dishes. (7/10) Avoid: Hamachi Pear: While refreshing, the combination of hamachi and pear fell flat compared to Uchi's version. (6/10) Uni Nigiri: The uni lacked sweetness and freshness, falling short of expectations. (5/10) Service: 5/5 The service was nothing short of exemplary. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring our every need was met . Orders were delivered promptly, and the chefs were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. Ambience: 5/5 The sleek, modern décor and vibrant atmosphere created a perfect backdrop for our visit. Sitting at the bar offered a front-row seat to the sushi-making process, adding a touch of magic to the dining experience. Additional Notes: Price point: spent around 200 for 2 people to come in starving and leaving satisfied Parking: On-street parking readily available. Park right next to movement and walk into the complex

Penny K.

Yelp
We were blown away by the quality of the fish, the impeccable service, and gorgeous interior design of KOME! This is now our favorite sushi and handroll bar in all of DFW. Presentation was spot on, the flavors were mind-blowing, and the chefs and staff were very personable and knowledgeable. Such a wonderful experience and treat!!

Gabe C.

Yelp
I've been dying to check this place out and it did not disappoint whatsoever! The restaurant is intimate and cozy with limited seating, so if you are going during a busy time (i.e. weekend dinner) make a reservation. The menu has a great variety of items for any taste, and the sushi is made right in front of you at the bar. I recommend the 6 piece hand-roll selection as every single item was fresh and high quality, and the price cannot be beat. The scallop foie gras was buttery and flavorful and I swear I could eat 4 orders of it by myself! The staff is very attentive and can answer any question you may have. A great spot for date night or dinner with friends!

Kena L.

Yelp
Great service and great sushi!!! I loved the coziness of the place. It's a great place for a dinner with a friend but also for a date or dinner with family. I'll definitely go back soon!

Tina T.

Yelp
I ordered a handful of dishes that are typically my favorite. However each dish needed more flavor to it. The scallops lacked the truffle oil, the handrolls were soggy (the outter seaweed) I did take a photo and ate them right away to avoid the sogginess, ankimo needed to be a little softer and could've used more dressing that was stronger instead of just ponzu, now the oysters I was looking forward to however it needed salmon roe or quail egg on top because just ponzu & a dash of sirracha wasn't it, and miso soup was slightly salty. Everything just had ponzu, it didn't make it very special. Everything did taste fresh! The service was great, the waitress was very attentive which I appreciated. Ambiance was great, it wasn't too busy around lunch time.

Sarah N.

Yelp
Super delicious! Randomly decided to stop by for a solo lunch on my day off and it was such a great choice! I was seated at the bar and the chef was so nice and cheerful it was such a pleasant experience, she even recommended some items to try! Each dish/piece I received was meticulously put together and so fresh tasting, I loved it all.

Jourdan R.

Yelp
I honestly don't know how more people aren't raving about this place! It's 10/10 delicious- and I'm super picky about sushi. Every dish we ordered was amazing, and I've been here a few times and it's consistently amazing. The waygu hot rock is unbelievable, melts in your mouth and perfection. The chefs specials are also incredible, not to mention the eel hand roll is worth some attention as well. Service was excellent and the overall vibe was casual and inviting - definitely recommend

Carissa S.

Yelp
This is a really special place: fast service, quality fish, and an intimate setting. The price for this quality experience is unlike I've ever experienced; normally, the fresh hand made rolls are more expensive. It's almost omakase style with the different rolls and quality of service. While the menu is not like the Cheesecake's novel, what they offer they excel at! We will definitely be returning! It's a great spot to eat on a date night or even with the family! There are places to seat any group of person. The wait staff and chefs are extremely kind and friendly!

Chetas C.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Kome in Dallas for quite some time now since I've been to the one in Austin. I can gladly say that it was just as good as I expected. I ordered a few hand rolls as well as some of the chef specials. The fish was extremely fresh and the food combinations went really well together. In the Mango Salmon, the fruit and fish went together. We were seated right at the sushi bar and the chefs were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were quick to serve the food and answered any questions we had. I'll definitely be coming back!

Caitlyn R.

Yelp
I have eaten great sushi all over the world, and this place ranks among some of my favorites. It is hands down my new favorite sushi spot in Dallas! My fiance and I went all out with our ordering, anything that looked good we ordered. Attached are some photos of our favorites, not photographed includes the hand rolls and various shashimi we ordered. Everything was FABULOUS, we had a really hard time even deciding which dish was our favorite. I'm still torn between the salmon truffle ponzu and the smoked ceviche. In addition to great food, their drink options were great. My fiance really enjoyed the unique selection of Japanese import beers while I was sipping on the refreshing cucumber martinis all night. The bartender and servers were both so friendly and attentive! The space was refined without being stuffy like some steakhouses could be. We will be coming back here soon!

Kacey T.

Yelp
Me and my bestfriend went and got the Signature 11 Course Omikase and it was AMAZING! The service was outstanding from the sushi chefs & we were very well taken care of. The hosts and waitresses were very attentive and gracious. We had a very good time & were given a free dessert Please come visit and get the Omikase, we were very full & satisfied after.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Super cute area to walk around while you're waiting for a table. It wasn't too busy for a Friday lunch. Our server was very attentive and our food came out pretty fast. All the fish tasted super fresh. My favorites: Toro Nigiri Scallop Foie Grois Yellowtail Asian Pear Hotate Nigiri Must try if you're in the area. Reasonable prices.

Camilo A.

Yelp
This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in Texas, and maybe the US. It is the only restaurant I have ever been to multiple times that is always a 10/10 no matter what you order on the menu. Michelin level for sure.

Andy P.

Yelp
Service is is always on par... we had Sarah and Chris serving us today and both were excellent! I would highly recommend sitting in their section. Food is good! Definitely recommend giving them a try

Bo B.

Yelp
Loved the service. The guy serving us was funny. I really enjoyed the crab with uni butter and the wagyu uni nigiri. The crab and scallop handrolls are good too. The shopping center was dead but this restaurant was fairly busy so the ambiance was nice.

Amar S.

Yelp
Wow. Kome Dallas was so delicious and the service is just outstanding! The Salmon Truffle Sashimi in ponzu was amazing! The Kome Tripple was so good that I had to order 2! The Shooter was so smooth. Every single handroll is sooo good, and the Wagyu nigiri was an excellent way to close out the meal! It's a nice chill vibe with a nice simple-modern decor. I highly recommend this place!

Yen T.

Yelp
Great service-- we sat at the bar and were able to speak with the chef and ask for recommendations. The nigri were fresh and the quality of fishes were great. I enjoy all the dishes. I love the drinks, I got the matcha mojito and the bartender specialize it to my liking. I highly recommend coming here, not pretentious and great value. It's the best sushi restaurant I have been to in America and I have been to many places. I recommend the Toro nigri, the uni nigri, the waygu nigri, the salmon in ponzu, salmon belly nigri, the crab nigri, scallops with foei gras and the chef special fishes. Ube ice cream for the win. If you prefer omakase, you have to make arrangements one week in advance. Every bite was memorable; it's worth the investments.

Brendan K.

Yelp
Amazing sushi and hand rolls! Service was prompt and thorough, decor was modern but also laidback and welcoming at the same time. I absolutely adore hand rolls, and this is now my favorite spot in Dallas to eat them! Each on tasted very clean, fresh, and packed full of delicious seafood flavor. Will be my favorite sushi spot going forward!

Tait L.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. I'm still mulling over the amazingness that was my first visit... sat at the bar in the middle and got the head chef, Richard. Told him I love exploring and love sushi and asked if he could just serve us whatever he thought was best... and he took us on a journey that I will remember for the rest of my life. I've had a couple other great sushi journeys that I remember to this day and now I get to add Kome, PLUS Richard introduced me to a fish I'd never tried before. I am so so very bad with the names of each dish - and it's sad. I'll try to get someone to help me identify the photos later but in the meantime I have to post them all because the pictures talk in a way I have no words for... and they taste so much better. Here's the short story: the level of quality is extremely elevated - everything tasted fresh, the preparation was absolutely dialed in, the flavors worked so well together, and the place is pretty cool in of itself so I highly highly recommend you go to Kome if you are serious about sushi

Kirtna C.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem with fresh, delicious sushi pairings. I ordered a few handrolls and chef's specials, and let me tell you- everything was tasty. My favorite was the Mango Salmon sashimi platter- it added a nice sweetness to the saltiness of the fish. The ambiance is really nice too- they have a large sushi bar which they seat you near the chefs so you can see them in action.

Thuy N.

Yelp
Best sushi place I've ever been to. Fantastic service, breathtaking food and reasonable pricing. Vibes in the restaurant are great.

M K.

Yelp
Parking: Plenty, well-lit Ambience: Casual, inviting Chefs: Japanese Sitting area: Limited. Tables surround main bar area so if your party is larger than 2, go early. No Open Table reservation. Menu options are simple, yet packed with quality seafood ranging from Monkfish liver, scallops, Hamachi crudo, blue tuna, Salmon to rolled sashimi. Presentation of every dish is carefully crafted making it even more inviting to tease your palate. To sum it all, Kome is like a cousin to Uchi ! More casual and relaxing, I'd save Uchi for special occasion :)

Laura H.

Yelp
Kome is now one of my go-to favorite spots for sushi that isn't too pretentious or over the top. They just serve delicious sushi in a casual setting. The chefs are really friendly too and make you feel welcome.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a large party. They were able to seat us quickly and accommodated us but cutting up the hand rolls for us to share! Their daily specials were really good! Service was also quick! Would 100% recommend coming back!

Emily L.

Yelp
Love love love this place! One of my new favorite sushi places in Dallas. Food: holy moly everything is delicious. The A5 wagyu on the hot stone was out of this world. The preparation and presentation made me drool uncontrollably and the meat melted in my mouth. The smoked ceviche was another highlight. The smokiness surrounds you as they unveil the masterpiece and prepares your senses for what's to come. As much as I love sashimi, I love having that extra flavor without having to use any sauce. Other highlights include the yellow tail with the Asian pear, the madai lemon yuzu sashimi, and the unagi hand roll. You can't go wrong with anything here as chef Roy and chef Richard go the distance. Service: From the chefs to the host to the waitress, everyone was so polite and attentive. Atmosphere: super great place tucked away in a cute little plaza. Plenty of seats at the bar plus some tables for a good variety with great lighting and ambience. I'll definitely be back!! I'd you love sushi, you won't regret coming here.

Yelp
I had a fantastic meal here a few nights ago. I came by myself and know Eric R. would love this so I hope he can go with me soon. I sat at the bar. Two servers took care of me throughout the meal, as well as Chef Jun. I started with several specials: madai lemon yuzu sashimi, 1 piece of shime saba nigiri, 1 piece of black cod nigiri, 1 uni gunkan, and 1 toro handroll. The sashimi was served with thinly sliced apple, jalapeno, and micro cilantro. The apple's sweetness balanced the tartness of the yuzu. The black cod was slightly torched and full of fatty deliciousness in flavor. Chef Jun offered me a free piece of salmon belly nigiri which was torched and sprinkled with a special salt. I then ordered 1 piece of kinmedai nigiri and 1 piece of saba nigiri, plus a hamachi handroll. The quality was great and everything was paced one item at a time. The owner, who was seated at the bar on another side, offered me free sake, but alas, it was not wise for me to drink alcohol before returning to my in-laws' house. Perhaps next time! I will definitely return to try more specials and menu items. This was a very enjoyable experience and the atmosphere is trendy but also relaxing. There are purse hooks under the bar too and towels to clean hands preset, which I see as very good indicators for diners! Itakdakimasu!

Yelp
i heard this great things about this place. saw that they offered nodoguro on the menu so its definitely legit. service is incredibly kind and really sweet, and the food comes out SUPER fast. which leads me to my gripe that they gave one of our rolls to another table, and not until we asked about it after an uncharacteristically long wait for the roll that they said they'll make it right now. we were too full by then so they were kind enough to cancel the order for us. they do take reservations if you call them! it's a date-night ambiance but most people wear casual clothing.

Yelp
I'm not a food expert but I love sushi and Komé is by far my favorite sushi spot in Dallas. Fresh fish, kind staff, and good drinks. What else do you need? My advice is to sit at the sushi bar, order whatever the chef recommend, and then thank me later. Enjoy!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been here twice now. The first experience was damn near close to perfect, but our second time dining at Komé we were completely blown away not just by the quality of sushi but more so by the service from the waitstaff and chefs. Attentive, THOUGHTFUL, knowledgeable, friendly...you rarely come across this at more over-hyped/over-priced fine dining establishments in Dallas. The ambience is laid-back and not fussy. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar so you can see the chef's at work and also chat with them. I can't get over how friendly and funny they were! As for the food, you seriously cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The experience of the salmon truffle ponzu special is almost transcendental. Truffle can be easily overwhelming for some but not here. The aroma is a decadent compliment to salmon that literally melts in your mouth. Like buttah, baby. I almost wept. The salmon belly nigiri is also one of my top choices. Handrolls are simple but delicious and can be halved to share. Ask the chef's for their recommendations on the many specials; they will never lead you astray! I wish more restaurants in Dallas were like Komé! Can't wait for my next visit.

Yelp
I had eaten here once for lunch and once at their sister restaurant for lunch but last night my wife and I ate here. We sat at the sushi bar and did the 11 course tasting menu. Usually I leave hungry, even after an exhaustive tasing menu, but not here! I was content about 2-3 courses from the finishe, and the quality and flavor of all the courses was top notch. Highly recommended, and especially recommend the tasting menu.
