The food is good and fresh. The waiter also nice and kind but the chef service is the worse part. I understood for the weekday, you need to serve 4-5 groups also you need need to talk to the guests to liven the atmosphere but she is not the guest, actually she is your “friend”. Anyway, you need to do your job to feed your guests. After I complained about it, you and your friends talked behind us after we left. Really!!!! The worst service

I had an unforgettable experience at this omakase spot! Every dish was beautifully presented and expertly crafted — you can truly taste the freshness and quality in every bite. The chef’s attention to detail and passion for their craft really shines through. From start to finish, the service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. If you're looking for an elevated and authentic omakase experience, this place absolutely delivers. Highly recommend!

Best Omakase in NYC! Chef Lee is funny and really engaging which I love. I’ve been to all of the Sushi Lin’s in Manhattan and this is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!!!

This is one of the dozens of (non-Japanese) omakase restaurants that have popped up everywhere in the last couple of years. We had the 12 piece menu for $85. Everything was delicious but the pieces are on the small side, we left kinda hungry $228 later. The chef who served us was very friendly and kind. Fish quality was very good. There were some unusual combinations like a piece of fried tomato on top of salmon. It was really good. Lots of citrus used, maybe a bit too much, the sushi flavors had to compete. I’d say it was quite decent but I’ve finally learned my lesson with these ubiquitous “omakase” joints, I’ll stick to authentic Japanese restaurants.

I can't say enough good things about this sushi restaurant. The ambiance and interior decor are simply stunning, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The staff's friendly and attentive service added to the overall wonderful experience. And the sushi, oh my, it was incredibly fresh and left a lingering, delightful taste in my mouth. This place is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!

Really high quality fish and produce with a creative twist and texture. Some of the cuts just melt in your mouth like butter. The pieces tend to be on a smaller side, so better opt for 17courses !!

My friends, I have to tell you one thing, if you miss this Omakase restaurant, it will be your lifelong regret! I hit up Omakase for the second time on a friend's recommendation and I tried the full experience of the 17-course meal for $125 and everything was unparalleled, the cozy ambiance, the attentive chef, and the warm service (even the service which I felt was too attentive) made it all worth it. I've heard they have several other locations, and I think New York needs more good restaurants like this, and I'll absolutely be back! Last but not least, the Salmon Tomato sealed the deal!

Yelp
Best Omakase in NYC! I've been to dozens of Omakase restaurants, and Sushi Lin tops them all. Chef Lee is friendly and exceptional. This is a MUST! Highly recommend!

Yelp
10/10 experience and very worth for the price! I tried the 17 course omakase and none of them are disappointing!! I also included some of my favorites in the individual attached photos below. What blown my mind is the squid nigiri, salmon with tomato nigiri and the milk pudding desserts(the honey and sesame with milk flavor goes so well together). I thought these are one of kind from my personal experience because I never tasted anything like that in other omakase places. Although the fish piece is smaller in size, they do give you plenty otoro, caviar and Uni in many courses. The scallop from Hokkaido with the citrus twist is also my top favorite too. One of my favorite restaurant that I have eaten in New York so far! Highly highly recommend. * the lighting in the restaurant is also spectacular. Everything is shining on the plate.

Yelp
Wing, our sushi chef took such good care of us. He explained each course to perfection and made sure we enjoyed each dish. This is a must stop in the lower east side area with fantastic quality at an excellent price. Do yourself a favor and get the $125 option. You will be so impressed particularly with how the course builds on itself. The dessert is the best and is to die for. It is a perfect ending to a wonderful omakase journey.

Yelp
Elevate your experience with 17 exquisite courses for $125 at Sushi Lin L.E.S. Their commitment to quality is evident in the specially sourced seafood from Tsukiji Market Japan and global treasures. With 5 thriving locations : Park Slope, Soho, Brooklyn Heights, West Village and Lower East Side (shown in video) , the growth of Sushi Lin is a testament to their unrivaled dedication. My personal favorites include the exquisite Yakima Salmon with fried leek, the richness of Dungeness Crab, the succulence of King salmon paired with salted tomatoes , the melt-in-your-mouth A5 wagyu with chopped onion, and the indulgent Kumamoto Oyster. Secure your spot now for a journey through the finest in Omakase perfection only at Sushi Lin.

Yelp
We did the 12 course omakase on a whim. It was beyond delightful. I was nervous when we walked in because we were the only ones there but that made the service all on us! I would 10000 percent go back. Some of the best omakase I've had for only $85.

Yelp
Once you eat at Sushi Lin -- impossible to go back to a California roll! I've said it before -- Sushi Lin exceeds all expectations.

Yelp
Nailed it! All of the courses were tasty, fresh, and creative. This place had a relaxed and cozy vibe. The staff was super friendly and made it feel like home. I will definitely be back, but this time with more friends!
