Sushi Lin is a serene Japanese gem serving innovative omakase, featuring fresh ingredients and skilled chefs crafting visually stunning sushi experiences.
This is one of the dozens of (non-Japanese) omakase restaurants that have popped up everywhere in the last couple of years. We had the 12 piece menu for $85. Everything was delicious but the pieces are on the small side, we left kinda hungry $228 later. The chef who served us was very friendly and kind. Fish quality was very good. There were some unusual combinations like a piece of fried tomato on top of salmon. It was really good. Lots of citrus used, maybe a bit too much, the sushi flavors had to compete. I’d say it was quite decent but I’ve finally learned my lesson with these ubiquitous “omakase” joints, I’ll stick to authentic Japanese restaurants.

I can't say enough good things about this sushi restaurant. The ambiance and interior decor are simply stunning, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The staff's friendly and attentive service added to the overall wonderful experience. And the sushi, oh my, it was incredibly fresh and left a lingering, delightful taste in my mouth. This place is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!

Really high quality fish and produce with a creative twist and texture. Some of the cuts just melt in your mouth like butter. The pieces tend to be on a smaller side, so better opt for 17courses !!

My friends, I have to tell you one thing, if you miss this Omakase restaurant, it will be your lifelong regret! I hit up Omakase for the second time on a friend's recommendation and I tried the full experience of the 17-course meal for $125 and everything was unparalleled, the cozy ambiance, the attentive chef, and the warm service (even the service which I felt was too attentive) made it all worth it. I've heard they have several other locations, and I think New York needs more good restaurants like this, and I'll absolutely be back! Last but not least, the Salmon Tomato sealed the deal!

I had a fantastic dining experience at this sushi restaurant. The sushi was incredibly delicious, and it was evident that they use exceptionally fresh ingredients. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their sushi. I'll definitely be returning for more!

Not many restaurants deserve a 5 star review.
But this one is based on quality and value.
If there is one issue I have, it’s the bathroom.
It can be cleaner and would be much improved if paper towel were given.
As opposed to walking out with wet hands.

We made to the restaurant even before it even appears on Google. the place offers only omasake, plus complimentary sake. Priced at $125, the omasake takes diners on a journey through diverse fish varieties, three distinct types of sea urchin, all woven together with chef's innovations. One highlight that catched our attention was the King salmon paired with grilled tomato. The freshness of the king salmon harmoniously melded with the sweetness of the tomato, creating a symphony. This place also offers competitive prices when compared to other sushi spots in Manhattan. The vibe is not too intimidating comparing to other sushi bars.
highly recommended.
