Came here for a 15 course omakase ($120) at 9PM. It was a pretty intimate dinner and felt like we had our own personal sushi chef as it was only myself, my gf, and another couple who booked a reservation. The entire course took 90 minutes, which isn't bad. Seems like they improved on this considering the previous reviews that it took nearly 3 hours before. Love the ambiance as it is very bright, modern wooden finishes and subtile decorations here and there. The chef's counter fits 8 people and there's a few tables scattered around.
The 15 course consisted of 3 appetizers, 11 sushi courses, and 1 dessert. The 18 course would consist of an extra appetizer and 2 additional sushi courses. Overall, I enjoyed the entire experience while also watching the sushi chef prepare the dishes. Some of the highlights include the Cherry Salmon, Fatty Tuna, and the Fatty Tuna Hand Roll. Water is refilled consistently. If you drop rice or sauce, a staff member will come and wipe it off before the next piece is served. For the main sushi courses, they will provide a book with a description or picture of the fishes being served, which is super helpful knowing what to eat. Only complaint I have was the uni that was served didn't taste fresh. All the other pieces were prepared great and fresh.
