Yelp
This omakase offers great value with a 10-course meal priced at $165 and beverage pairing for $75. The restaurant is housed in the former Scarr's Pizza, preserving much of the funky 60s décor, although the background hip hop music feels a bit off for the setting.
The staff consists of three people--a hostess/sommelier, the chef, and an assistant--providing overall good service. The chef's area seats 10 guests, with attentive servings throughout the meal. The quality is solid, especially the octopus and tuna dishes, which were standout bites.
For four people, including additional beverages and hand rolls, the total came to $1,425 with tip.
If you're looking for a more affordable omakase experience without spending $300 to $400 per person, this is a good option.
