Nice place! Really enjoyed the food. We tried different types of sushi and dishes—each had its own unique and interesting flavor. The waitress did a great job explaining what was special about each dish, which made the experience even better. Had a great time and would definitely like to visit again!

Every time we come here, we always enjoy the Food. They haven’t disappointed us yet. Most of the time we come here we end up getting Chris and he is a delight knows everything very well has great suggestions. I just love these lights.

Not your average sushi. First, be sure to make a reservation for this restaurant. It gets really packed, and tables may not be available for walk-ins. We've been to this restaurant before and decided to celebrate Father's Day at this location. The food was wonderful. A family member who does not necessarily like sushi enjoyed her sushi roll. On another note, we were so intrigued that we ordered two of the same rolls. Also, we had a family member who couldn't decide on what she wanted, so she told the server, and the server made a special dish for her. This is why I would rate this restaurant with amazing service. The server wanted to serve us at the highest level, even if that meant offering something that wasn't on the menu at that time. The atmosphere was very unique. I actually felt like I was in a tourist district in Las Vegas. Great restaurant design!

They have super tasty and crispy Korean fried chicken wings. The sushi rolls are very good and they will make any type of roll you want even if it’s not on the menu. The mango tango dessert was so good. I will be coming back. :)

This was hands down the most delicious and unique sushi I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the host Gina was incredibly warm and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We ordered the fish and chips, Kiss on Fire roll, Anaconda roll, and the wings—every single dish was absolutely mind-blowing. Our server, CJ, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. When they were out of the drink I originally wanted, he made something similar on the fly, and it turned out fantastic. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was fire as well. Everything felt so thoughtfully made, from the food to the drinks to the service. I live in Oviedo and can’t believe I had never been here before—this is definitely going to be a staple for us now! Thank you so much sushi pop team!

I revisited after so many years. This place really is still fantastic. The food was impeccable, the service was spot on and friendly. My server was just super nice and helpful.

It has been a long time since I found a very good sushi restaurant and my search is now over! I would highly recommend sushi pop. From the outside, it's a very unassuming building and then you walk into a stunning ambience of tastefully, decorated booths, overhead lamps, and just the right amount of relaxation. The food was just phenomenal. Every bit of it the highlight of our meal was the Nigiri flight where the fish was beyond my expectations. The edamame was so good that I know that I will be thinking about it when I can get back there to get it and how soon. If you were looking for a quality sushi restaurant with an amazing ambience, you should visit sushi pop.

Super cute little sushi restaurant. Open, table and tall boy table seating. Mix of Asian and a little nuevo going on with decor...luv it. Our waitress was phenomenal. Took great care of us all evening. We started with edamame with everything and the KFC (Korean fried chicken wings). Wonderful flavors, fresh and delicious! Everything looked and smelled so good....I forgot to take a picture of our sushi rolls ‍ We indulged the Ceviche, Black Dragon and Hemachi Hero. So very fresh and flavorful...thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

This was my third time at Sushi Pop Oviedo, and I'd honestly rate it a 6/5 if I could. Every visit has been outstanding, but this one really showed how consistently excellent this place is. We started with the Edamame with sea salt (simple but fresh) and the Pork Gyoza, which were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The Hamachi Zuke was flavorful and perfectly balanced. For sashimi, we had the Bluefin Otoro (incredibly buttery, melts in your mouth) and the Chef's Choice Premium Sashimi platter, which was stunning both in presentation and taste. We also tried the Curry No Hurry roll, which had a fun kick of spice, and the Volcano Roll, which was rich and satisfying. Honestly, everything we ordered came out beautifully plated and spot-on with flavor. Desserts were no afterthought here -- the P.M.S. (chocolate + peanut butter heaven) and the Carrot Cake Bread Pudding were both fantastic and the perfect finish to the meal. Service has been excellent every time I've visited -- friendly, attentive, and well-paced. The vibe is modern and lively without being overwhelming. Prices are fair for the quality and artistry you're getting. Final take: Sushi Pop Oviedo is easily one of the best sushi spots in Central Florida. Third visit, and they haven't missed once. I'll keep coming back again and again.

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in East Orlando. You truly can't beat their happy hour deals and it includes my favorite roll - the Ceviche roll! Everything is always super fresh and each flavor component complements the next perfectly. The service is always friendly and I love the bar seating for great conversation, delectably crafted cocktails, and a casual ambiance.

Oviedo-Mother's Day was a success! We were pleasantly impressed to find Sushi Pop was open on this special day. It is absolutely beautiful inside this restaurant. A VERY COOL VIBE. Lucas was our very knowledgeable and kind waiter. Giving us all kinds of good info about the menu. Their menu was full of really interesting combinations and lots of different flavors melded together. That's a HUGE plus, because so many sushi restaurants here in Orlando offer the same boring rolls with spicy everything. It was nice to actually have choices!!! Our old fashioned cocktail was really well crafted. The beer selections were awesome! Sea salt edamame started us off! Good but not great. Just edamame actually! We tried the table side wasabi root and the regular wasabi, just to compare. Both were good! The White Cloud roll was EPIC! So much flavor and a great combination of interesting ingredients! Definitely would suggest ordering this roll. We also tried the Ceviche roll. I'm not a "spicy" lover, but it was pretty good. The Japanese Yellowtail Belly sashimi ROCKED!! Loved it! We also had the Sushi Pop Poke Bowl with tuna. Unfortunately that dish fell very short of expectations. Super tiny portion for the price. Thankfully there were other items to share with the guy who ordered that tiny entree. We even brought the hubby some Korean Fried Chicken wings! He loved them! Very meaty. Overall, a delicious meal and a decision to absolutely return! I'm super excited to try more of the interesting combinations that they have to offer.

Love the vibes, they are always playing the best anime when we go. Food is great and the servers are always really nice! We got the same rolls as last time we went but something tasted off this time. Still good though, would come back!

I sat at the sushi bar this time and its always so interesting to see how the chefs plate up their dishes. I got their Yuzu collins from their HH menu (5-6pm on weekdays) and the yuzu flavor was amazing! I always get their triple tail during HH, along with the ceviche roll and the lime on the ceviche really elevates the roll's flavor.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant inside! Located in a strip mall, with black tinted windows from the outside, you would think it was nothing special! However, all the yelpers know to check Yelp out when in doubt! Food was delicious, great for a local spot. We arrived on New Year's Day for a nice dinner, and Eva was able to fit us in between her reservations. She was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Lucas, he was phenomenal with the kids and gave great recommendations! The facility was very nice and clean and I loved the decor inside. We will definitely be back again soon! I took one star off because I thought that the price point was decent but the rolls were fairly small. Also, the bread pudding was so tiny, it would even be too small for my child! I was shocked at how small the dessert was, you should probably order one each if you are going to share. It was so yummy! I will try the peanut butter one next time! That rock shrimp is to absolutely die for! Shout out to Joe for the recommendation and yes, that blue cheese swipe!!!!! The edamame was so good but I wish it wasn't steamed so much because you pull the bones of the edamame when you get the flavor off. I may request that next time. Must try though and ample parking too! The drinks were yumm too! I got a guava tequila situation and it was all clear! Very cool presentation!

Really enjoyed our dinner here! We got the fried chicken, bang shrimp, tempura Rangoon, and the fireball roll. Everything was so delicious and the service was great. The ambiance was so aesthetic and def seems like a vibe for a happy hour (which they do have) can't wait to be back and try out their cocktails during happy hour.

Always 5-star! Great service! I Love Lucy (no relationship to the show)....and the rest of the staff. This time my hubby and I went for Brunch!! OMG! We were well taken care of by cutie patutie, Sara. AMAZING FOOD! Ambiance was perfect. Go the next chance you get! I want more of that French Toast!

I can't believe I have not written a review for this place yet. Mark my words this is literally top three best restaurants in Oviedo the drinks, the food, the service the people everything is always.12/10!!! The curry no hurry role is one of the best roles ever invented even though this place has amazing rolls way beyond that. The bartenders are literal mixologists and the food is always so fresh and delish. Plus they're happy hour is amazing too!!

This may be the most amazing sushi I've ever had...and definitely the top three in Florida (I'm from Charleston SC). Our waitress Alessa was amazing and so helpful. Ambiance was fun and trendy while still being relaxed and comfy. This was my first visit there. I was visiting my friend in Orlando and her husband suggested we try it. This was also my first experience with blow-torched scallop. See pics for rolls. (They kindly subbed tempura avocado for asparagus for me.) Sushi was delicious and fresh.

We've been here a number of times and always have a good experience. Last night we had a large group of around 10 adults. The service was great and our waiter was professionally and knowledgeable about the food/drinks. I'd recommend the fried wings and some sushi rolls. The fish is always fresh. Prices are pretty normal-high when compared to other restaurants but it's always a treat. Would certainly recommend you give them a try.

Great place for a night out with friends or a cutie little date! Sushi was great, service was exceptional, and ambiance surpassed what was expected. Decor was elegant but had a lot of character with the art on the walls. Given outside looks like a small joint in a plaza, it's easy to pass by. Definitely superseded expectations and will be back!

I am not a sushi fan, but my husband is. He loves their sushi rolls a lot. What I like is they also have a nice selection of meals for people like me that don't eat sushi. A lot of sushi places don't offer them. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is so helpful if you need any suggestions or need a more in depth description of the ingredients and preparation of the food. Love this place!

I stumbled into this place while trying to find a new sushi place near Waterford/Oviedo area. This place it's really great. I enjoyed my food and the service. I'll def be returning

No, it's not a new Soda, but it's still one of our favorite spots in Orlando. I'm not just talking about Sushi Spots, I'm talking about spots in general. After seeing a TV show about it years ago (Emeril's Florida), it's been a semi-regular spot for date nights, meeting friends and special occasions. It's better than Nobu if you ask me, and cheaper too if you ask anyone. Look at all the pics! Yum! I don't think I can visit without getting buffalo rock shrimp. It's almost always a must order. That blue cheese schmear on the plate is so good. And why is their celery WAY better than my celery? The also usually have some kind of tuna tasting which is always a winner. Put tuna belly in my belly please. What I really like about Sushi Pop is the menu changes regularly. Yes, they have their staples, but depending on what fish they get, you can get lucky with some amazing bites. Who doesn't love snapper cheeks and torched salmon belly and oysters from all over. (They're all about the belly). Also, you do get to sit and eat off of a table or the counter at the bar. I was happy to see they didn't have one of those naked ladies covered in sushi like you see at those rich parties at that house in Winter Park. Even if she is covered in plastic wrap, it's just awkward when you she yells after you take too many pictures. I've mentioned it before, but the Hit The Deck cocktail is my absolute favorite cocktail of all time. I order it extra spicy and it has the smokey mezcal taste balanced with sweet and sour with a nice throat burn finish. It's hard to try new cocktails when this is too good. One time I had an amazing Japanese Hefeweizen. Who knew the Japanese and Germans were in cahoots? They should team up more often! They started offering brunch on the weekends and pho on Mondays too. I will say the pho was pretty good, but I can't say I've had it more than a few times to determine Orlando's Pho King. I haven't made it to brunch yet but plan on it based on some pics and reviews from fellow Yelp cohorts. We've introduced several VIP Yelpers to this place too and they also enjoyed it! I'd put this slightly above Kabooki sushi, but both are pretty close. It's worth the trip to an unassuming strip mall in Oviedo for some of the best sushi in town. Like the Tunanator would say "I'll be coming back". This is my 3rd 5-Star review of this place too!

My friend loves this place so I tend to come here a lot with her. This is such a cute restaurant! The wait staff are really nice. There can be a bit of a wait sometimes depending on what time you come. We have tried quite a bit from their menu now. The fish here is really good quality and taste very fresh. However, I feel that a lot of the rolls all taste the same here. They all taste good but not very different. This isn't traditional sushi but a new twist on sushi which I can appreciate. I preferred just the nigiri by itself here and the good Japanese soy sauce. The drinks here aren't that great and I wouldn't order them here again. The Chocolate Peanut Molten Lava Cake w Salted Caramel Ice Cream was really good. They have a really well priced happy hour menu with different nigiri, sushi, and appetizers to try. I would definitely try to come for happy hour if you come here.

Sushi pop is hands down the best sushi in the area! It may have you fooled being in a mediocre plaza in Oviedo but once you open the doors, you're greeted with kindness and the best flavor! Stop right now and just indulge in a ceviche roll, or twelve. Seriously, it's the most genius roll that has ever invaded my taste buds. Not only do they have great cocktails the mocktail is SO good! The kids menu... ingenius, my son gets the buttered noodles every time, so simple, yet he will eat almost the entire bowl. My go-to appetizer is definitely the garlic edamame. Sometimes I just play Russian roulette with the menu and have never been disappointed.

We got a last minute reservation because of a cancellation and were happy to try this place. Drinks - we had some sake, an old fashioned (which was well made) and some cocktails which were good too. Food - while pricey this dinner was certainly a splurge it was delicious and fresh and our out of town guests from NYC were even impressed with the quality. The only comment is that tuna ahi was a bit over cooked. Of all the rolls I tried I was only truly ecstatic about one the rest were good but not something I'd crave. The fresh scallop and the sashimi items were excellent and probably what I'd come back for. The steak was good and the octopus and Brussel sprouts were delicious. I wish they made those Brussel sprouts as a seperate side of order a whole bunch. Also great news they have child friendly options either a breaded chicken cutlet or shrimp tempura with either white rice or buttered noodles. Kids enjoyed this as well as some. All in all it was a great night out.

Sushi Pop is surprising food and great service. We rolled in on the last night of magical dining and really had a wonderful time. High Points: #1 superior service. I can't think of a thing that our server did that was a fault. He was attentive, offered advice and anticipated our needs. #2 Delightful and surprising food. I think we enjoyed the items off the happy hour menu, Buffalo shrimp and the seaweed salad as much as the offerings we sampled for our magical dining experience. One of my smoked fish appetizers was amazing in the flavor and texture. #3 Engaging decor where you could turn up as a family and feel comfortable not dressing up. You can view the kitchen preparing food so overall a nice atmosphere. #4 Happy hour specials are also available on weekends. The only low points were we arrived on a day right after a busy Saturday and a couple items were unavailable. I am looking forward to returning because it was so good and the food was unusual but in a good way. Favorite item: seaweed salad.

Hostess and server were great. Atmosphere is a little bougie offering "still" water but paper menus. Salad was fresh but super salty. Lucy Roll had layers of flavor but the seaweed was tough and stringy. Other options in Oviedo I prefer.

We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Sushi Pop. The menu is very creative with unusual rolls that you won't find anyplace else, including premium ingredients that extend to the wasabi (fresh if desired) and the pickled sunchoke (instead of picked ginger). The service was very attentive and personalized and our server helped everyone make their selections. The inside is very fun, with two different rooms - one with bright graphics and the other more subdued with anime decor. We started with the Edamame with sautéed garlic which came out steaming hot and was delicious. Next came our sushi and we ordered several different rolls including the Gold Digger with Waygu and tempura lobster, Royal Treatment roll, Ceviche roll, Kissed by Fire roll and the Tonkushu Box. The Tonushu Box, instead of your standard 10 pieces of nigiri had 5 sets of two pieces of sushi that were exceptionally prepared and had different toppings. Everything was great and very tasty. We also got the P.M.S. and Yuzu Lemon Posset for dessert. The P.M.S. is a peanut butter chocolate lava cake with salted caramel ice cream and peanut butter dust -- so yummy! And the Yuzu Lemon Posset was a great contrast and was like a lemon custard. Prices were high but based on the service, premium ingredients and artistry of the food, we felt it was worth it.

Sushi Pop is the best sushi around! We really enjoy coming here for their happy hour deals, especially the late night one. Great deals on the drinks featuring an old fashioned option and saki-tinis. All of the servers are fantastic and great at making your night wonderful every time. I used to lean towards the hot items like their Korean fried chicken wings and the steak but sushipop is the reason I now enjoy sushi. My favorite roll is the ceviche, the Bangkok dangerous and the spicy yellowfin. Can't recommend sushipop enough

I wish I took picture of our food but we devoured it before the waiter could walk away. The vibes, the service were amazing. Daniela was our server and when I tell you I have never met a nicer person. Daniela was knowledgeable about all the dishes and we actually took her recommendations for some of the dishes we chose. Everything was delicious. The ceviche, shrooms, thailicious, Lucy roll and pulpo were amazing. We ended up ordering another Ceviche and an order of the shrooms. We will be back

Late last year, I heard that the Sushi Pop right by my place was about to unveil a brunch starting on New Years Day. Everything about my personality and who I am knew that I had to be there on day one. So I made my reservations and joined the group of people lining up at the front door for them to open up and get started. Only half of the restaurant space was open, so a lot of people were seated at the bar, including me. I liked that. It made it seem a little more groupy, like a group brunch experience with all the other people in the room. Some people would probably hate that feeling, but I liked it in a weird way. As I browsing their extensive brunch menu, I was sipping on some Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I like my coffee cold and white and sweet, and this coffee satisfies all of that for me. Delicious. We ordered like four things and just went ham on all of it. I started off with the Hong Kong Style French Toast (milk bread stuffed with peanut butter, condensed milk, Saigon cinnamon whipped butter, candied pecans). Insanely good. The ooey gooey of peanut butter and condensed milk is unlike anything I've ever had. The plenty of candied pecans gave some crunch to all that soft. Just a banger of a dish. The Bao Benedict (crispy pork belly, bao buns, poached eggs, shiso hollandaise, arugula, black garlic home fries) was a little less of a banger. The pork belly could have been crispier, the bao buns absorbed a little more oil that I think they wanted them to, but the eggs were perfect, and the shiso hollandaise was very unique. A big swing on this dish. Then the thing I was looking forward to most, the Okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake filled with bacon, shrimp, cabbage, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, spicy mayo, nori, bonito flakes, scallions). Traditional Japanese meal that is very filling and dense. Accented well by the amazing amount of sauce and the fun little bonito flakes. I love this thing. We finished things off with a Tokushu Box (life is like a box of nigiri, you never know what you're gonna get! (10 pieces)). Five pairs of lovely nigiri with fresh fish that were all very different from each other, which I love. Nigiri of fish that are very similar to each other annoys me and makes me feel like an amateur, so this was nice. Overall, I gave this place five stars seven years ago, and here I am giving it five stars again. This place is great, and I'll definitely be back before seven more years pass.

I cannot wait to come back here!! As soon as we walked in I was in love with the interior design of the place, absolutely lovely. On top of that our waitress was super informative & polite & just a lovely human being & she was so attentive! My boyfriend & I got some of the top menu items she recommended & we were pretty full by the end of it. The off menu dessert was chocolate but oh so heavenly & ended the night perfectly! I really loved how the menu is printed every single day, because the menu can change depending on what's fresh & available with the seafood. I cannot wait to come back during a different month or for brunch on the weekends to fall in love with this place again

My daughter and I experienced the beautiful ambience and friendly service of Sushi Pop. We ordered the Bangkok, dangerous, sesame, tuna, and ceviche rolls. Each one was curated with fresh ingredients and bright herbs. We also enjoyed the delicious dessert mousse, a little pop of citrus and coffee flavors. Everything was made to order fresh so some of the timing lagged a little bit. It's better to get a reservation. We had to wait half an hour in the car to get in because we walked in. Our server was especially friendly and thoughtful. They definitely give very personalized service and know their customers. All the bright decor really compliments, the unique food. We highly recommend this restaurant, but the cost is pretty high, but worth it for the experience.

We are frequently flyers at sushi pop. We love trying all their new delicious rolls and dishes. The quality of their sushi is phenomenal. We have never been disappointed with any of the sushi we have ordered. We really love the staff here, since they are always so great and make sure we get the best service. My favorite go to roll is the ceviche roll. It has the right amount of lime and kick to it. My two favorite sauce to use for this roll are always ponzu, and spicy mayo. All the staff members here are great Chris is always on par and knows our order by heart. Lucas make sure to encourage us to try any of the new dishes on the menu, and he is always on point of what we will enjoy. Alessia is great overall and makes it her mission to get our food out ASAP, especially when we are starving haha.

Oh man. Run, don't walk, to their happy hour. It's a really good happy hour menu with sushi, hot plates and adult beverages. Service is top notch, restaurant has a good vibe, but honestly, sushi is some of the best I've ever had. The Buffalo rock shrimp are amazing. Sushi is great. But the all of the above edamame is so amazing I thought about ordering a second one to go. Salty, spicy, sweet - it's everything you could want. Definitely try the low rider roll and the coco roll!

The presentation was excellent. The ribs were well seasoned and very tender. The Nigiri and roll combo was good. The Tembleque was delicious. The service was excellent and my server was great and friendly. I recommen that you stop by and experience it for yourself. Also they are part of magical dining month.

Sushi Pop is still a 5-star establishment in my book. I realize it's been a number of years since my first review and it was limited in context. While sushi pop isn't the same as it was 5 years ago, somethings have not changed, and that's the ambiance, the quality, and the service. The perfect sushi establishment for a date night or a celebration or just because you want great sushi - and I've been here for all three *wink*. More recently my fiancé and I have been enjoying sitting at the bar and the usual bartenders are just so friendly and craft amazing drinks. They even remember our typical order. Speaking of, I have a few favorites on the menu but I've loved everything I've had here so you really can't go wrong. My favorite rolls include the Acevichado, Royal Treatment, Ceviche among other specialty ones that make an appearance on the menu now and then. We absolutely love the pepper and garlic edamame and mamas spring rolls are excellent!! My fiancé loves the baos and the KFC wings. They house-make their blue cheese if you want a side of that to go with your wings it's excellent but they're stand out as-is! The goldmine dish is really really excellent! What I particularly love about their menu is even the mainstays are slightly different between visits because they only use the freshest fish so it changes. For example last time I ordered the acechivado roll it had flounder in it and the ceviche also had flounder but times before I've had grouper or snapper and it provides a slightly unique experience each time I have a dish b Be sure to checkout their desserts which are made in-house. I looove their rotating selection of ice creams (the black sesame is my favorite but I haven't seen it in a while). Favorite cocktails: ultraviolet and the margarita dreams!!

This is my absolute favorite favorite FAVORITE sushi spot. The food is amazing and fresh, the rolls and nigiri are delicious (try the yellowtail belly nigiri, life changing) and the service is always great. I could eat here weekly and never get sick of it!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, I made a reservation on Resy. Inside it is modern and large! We were seated right away even though we were a little early. Our waitress Valentina was fabulous! She was friendly and went though the menu and suggested some items. We got there before 6 so it was still happy hour! I would suggest if it's your first time go on happy hour so you can try lots of the items! I got a Paloma for a drink and it was refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet so I liked that! From the happy hour menu we got - Buffalo rock shrimp (came with blue cheese and celery) loved this!!! So good!! Need to get full portion next time - pork baos (come in two and delicious) - coco roll (tempura shrimp rolled in coconut) so good - Ceriche roll, fantastic too - scallop sushi roll, yummy! On top of that we also got the hiramasa, raw Kama abs the top up roll. Every dish was delicious, fresh and interesting. The rolls are filled with ingredients, rice amount is perfect. Huge menu! Delicious, great atmosphere and loved our waitress!!!

Our waiter was really attentive. We went on a Sunday around 2:30pm so they had the brunch menu available. I loved their Vietnamese iced coffee! I ended up ordering their French toast which reminded me of the French toast the Rock makes for himself (if you don't know it look up his recipe- they taste pretty similar). It's the peanut butter that kicks it up a notch for me. My other friends had sushi rolls and enjoyed them. The only criticism was my husband thought his rolls were a little small. Other than that we enjoyed the atmosphere, the booths were comfy, the food was good, and the service was very friendly!

BEST SUSHI ROLLS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. Chau is a genius with his fusion of sauces and rolls. Easily the best rolls I've ever had. This is my favorite sushi place and I have been coming here for years. Friendly staff that always treats me like family and restaurant decor gives it a Harajuku vibe. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend this place for sushi lovers! I absolutely loved the kissed by fire and the porchetta! The Tokushu box had a variety of different nigiri's which you wouldn't know what you'd get and there were 2 of each. It was sooooo good, I loved it!! It's a little loud inside but the atmosphere and decorations inside were soo pretty. Bonsai trees everywhere. Definitely recommend coming here! The Tokushu box did take a long time to come out but it was also a Friday night so they were super busy!

Hadn't been here in years, decided to go again for magical dining. The place had expanded since our last visit and is really inviting and nicely done. The cocktails were really good, especially the summer spritzer! Everything on the MD menu was amazing! Lucas was our server and he was fab! He made it very enjoyable and was so nice and personable! Will definitely be back!

Yes. Yes. And yes. The 5 Star reviews for Sushi Pop are spot on! And, I recommend that you read other reviews ( Joe S, Sarah S, Lana E, and Scott W) to prep for your dining experience. On our visit, we arrived during the last 15 minutes or so of Happy Hour, a paired down menu with smaller serving sizes and prices to match. The available drinks were happily not smaller. If you've read the other reviews, by now you know that the Buffalo Rock Shrimp is a must! The spicy tobanjan is perfectly paired with the sharp, tangy, and salty blue cheese to enhance the sea salt of the rock shrimp. Also worth mentioning from our selections is the Hot Mess roll. So much sushi goodness - smoked salmon, honey kabayaki, baked tuna, salmon, and yellowtail - in this plate comes together with the spicy mayo, chives and rendered bacon. I enjoyed a nice Japanese beer from a nice variety of local and imported beers. Plenty of fun mixed drinks are available, both on and off menu. Just ask! Our service was excellent - attentive and very helpful for my wife and me. We also relied on the experience of Joe and Sarah S who invited us to join them at their favorite sushi place in O-Town. Ambiance is good. Parking can be a challenge due to the few spots in front, but know that more are on the side and the back. If you are looking for a fun date night and sushi is on your list of destinations, head here!

Love love LOVED their magical dining menu! Well priced and very delicious. I've been to sushi pop before, and their regular menu is just as delicious and changes daily (dates printed in menu each day). You don't need to search for any other sushi place. This is the most authentic and upscale sushi restaurant I've come across in a while! There's nothing on this menu that isn't 5 stars when it comes to flavor and freshness. I've been several times now but always forget to take photos so this time I have the photos!
