An Eater’s Guide to Whistler, British Columbia | Eater

"A decades-old, high-energy sushi institution serving impeccably fresh fish, creative rolls, and traditional Japanese dishes; the sprawling menu ranges from signature creations like the Super Hiro Roll to sushi-snob items such as uni and tuna otoro, plus cooked dishes like spinach gomae, tempura, udon soups, and teriyaki dinners, and a playful cocktail culture (think strawberry sake margarita); long waits are common and tatami rooms can be reserved for larger groups." - Naomi Tomky

Google
Without a doubt the best all you can eat sushi experience I've ever had. This place is incredible and everything is so fresh. Food was so good they get 5 stars even though I have one small complaint, the AC was inconsistent and seemed to turn off at random times making it feel kind of stuffy. Other than that, great food & service- will definitely be back.

Google
I thought sushi village was great. Not many places that are all you can eat that serves sashimi. Everything was fresh, the place was busy, so all the fish and meats go pretty fast. That's a good thing. The restaurant is clean, the staff was attentive. And at $30 it was very reasonable. They even had fried Oreos and Korean short rib. I would definitely go back again

Google
First of all, I really liked the idea of charging extra if you can’t finish the all-you-can-eat menu. It’s a great way to prevent food waste ✨ Everything was very fresh and delicious 😋 The place was actually quite clean, but there were a lot of small flies, which was a bit bothersome 😳 Still, I was overall satisfied and would consider coming again🌿

Google
Came here for date night with my wife. Great experience, great service, food was amazing, I will come back! 10/10 the mushroom soup was super amazing!

Google
Overall, it was a great experience. The sushi selection is limited compared to other buffets, but they are higher quality, in my opinion. I went for dinner with my family. We where seated in the back area. The rgb lights was a bit annoying after a long period of time. The constant dark to bright with mixture of colors reminded me of a poor light gaming pc. I recommend to be asked to be seated somewhere else.

Google
We literally love this place! Every time we visit we end the meal saying how much we love this place lol! Food is fresh! And w good quality! The service is A1! They r very friendly and always checking if u need anything! Price is fair for the quality of the food! We really enjoy every time 👌👌👌

Google
The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Service was indeed possible and they were very courteous. The only reason it lost a star for food for me was because this is a different location in the sushi village locations I usually go to the in South Hackensack only went because a friend lives near by and it felt like something was missing because they didn't have 2 entrees the other location had so felt like I missed it

Google
It was a quick take out lunch, they were very accommodating about asking to pack a certain way. I called in an order so I didn't know this place is All you can eat* , the price is reasonable, I would come back to sit down when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
We ordered a ton of sushi, appetizers, and small entrees, and while this may not be the highest-quality sushi on the planet, it definitely does its job. It's filling, and you can order as much as you want. The appetizers and small entrees were delicious, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is great for a night out with friends, and despite being packed on a busy Saturday night, the service was impressively quick and efficient. The staff isn't the friendliest, but they get the job done. I've been coming here for years and will continue to. If you're a serious sushi connoisseur looking for top-tier quality, this might not be your spot. But if you're okay with scaling back on quality a bit and just want to absolutely munch out, this is a fantastic choice. At $29.99 for unlimited sushi, it's not the cheapest, but you definitely get your money's worth.

Yelp
This establishment is located on the corner of Pompton ave and main st- it has a quaint parking lot located in the rear and there's usually some street spots available. They offer all you can eat sushi & its BYOB. This has been a comfort spot among my friend's group. Its perfect for first dates, family gatherings, or friendly catch-up lunches. I appreciate the variety and portions for the price! The service is friendly, accommodating, & efficient. 12/10

Yelp
Awesome deal for AYCE. This is the place that you come for a lot of quantity and not so much the quality. I feel like people expect a lot from this place which is just not possible when is all you can eat. Think about the cost they have to cover. The quality was overall decent but honestly I wasn't expecting much. Thought everything was relatively good and fresh. We also definitely did not get sick They have a pretty decent menu selection of hot and cold items of different rolls, sashimi, nigeri, etc. I thought the sushi rolls were ok but the rice should be a bit chewier. It was a bit too watery and soft for me. Really liked their fried items and the teriyaki fish they have. Service was decent. The atmosphere was a bit too dark and stuffy for me. Would be nice to have some windows. They are BYOB which is amazing. Overall, I think this is a great spot to come and stuff your face.

Yelp
Disappointed and won't be returning. Came on a Tuesday and was charged weekend pricing--not a huge difference, but still misleading. The rainbow roll had a strange, chemical taste and was inedible. The salad was soggy with water pooling at the bottom. The salmon didn't taste fresh, and I could barely eat the roll with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and mango. Even the green tea was off. I had a good experience here a few years ago, but after this visit, I won't be coming back.

Yelp
On March 17, 2025, 3 of us had dinner. It was my GF's birthday! We've been there before, so we knew how good the food would be. But on this particular night, our waitress, Lin, made our time there memorable! She was efficient, attentive and soooo funny!!! We agreed that we had to shout Lin out. I wish I took her picture though. ‍‍We will be going back.
google avatar

Larry N.

Yelp
Paid for dinner menu. Fish not fresh at all. Diarrhea problem for 3 days. Never going back. Kalibi is poor quality, tough and inedible.
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a friend so I had to check it out. Parking is tight but seems to work. I was bit worried by the set price all you can eat sushi but glad I still visited. The place was packed ... 6 gentlemen making sushi. Sushi pumped out fast so I know the fish is fresh. We had a menu sheet which says if you overorder you pay for the waste/extra. Smart move. We only ordered what we planned to eat. The service is F.A.S.T. Glad we went as I enjoyed my meal. There are some things that can be updated like a paint job for the patches on the wall. I'm not eating the wall lol. I'll be back

Yelp
I've been going to Sushi Village since I was a broke college student who loved sushi but couldn't find a decent place to satisfy my appetite (and wallet lol). Of course I've tried so many other sushi spots since I first visited in 2012 and have had some really darn good sushi but I always come back when I want a no b.s. meal to make me full for a great price. The staff are always friendly and the service is always so quick. I'm usually not waiting too long for my food even when my husband and I order a boat load of sushi lol.
google avatar

Luis B.

Yelp
Albacore, unagi, and cooked rolls were okay. The quality of the tuna and salmon was very poor. Some of my nigiri was almost inedible which was really disappointing. I am not a stranger to AYCE but this place is just simply not worth it nor tasty. Also, ended up finding a live bug in my sushi.
google avatar

Danielle R.

Yelp
I think this place offered great value for the price. Some of the dishes were a miss for me but I liked the fish. It tasted fresh and not fishy, but I mostly stuck to tuna and salmon. The fried food was surprisingly good. The Karaage had good flavor, and the tempura vegetables were very crispy. I was excited for the Galbi but it was a bit greasy and tough. The special rolls are quite big and are a bit hard to get through, especially if it's a fried roll, so I recommend sticking to the sashimi and nigiri. The hand rolls are also good because they put fish all the way at the bottom, so you're not left with just rice at the end. The dessert was a bit lacking though. The tempura Oreos were soggy and the ice cream tasted a bit freezer burnt. I did feel a bit rushed by the servers as I was eating, since they would take the menu before I was finished writing everything down. But, they do give you a new menu right after, so you can still order stuff. I still think it's one of the better AYCE sushi places around the area and I would come again.

Yelp
I come here all the time! Love that this place is byob and love how spacious it is. The seating is pretty quick, but fills up. Love that you have a fixed price for all you can eat and it is fresh versus a buffet style. Love everything on the menu and always enjoy my time here. My friends and I always select this location to have sushi - and will continue to come here.
google avatar

Petty T.

Yelp
Pretty good spot for AYCE sushi in the area, especially for the price. Staff is always attentive, they keep the restaurant clean, and they remain pretty consistent. While the AYCE menu has great food options to choose from, I do wish they offered more specialty rolls on the menu. All in all, it's a good spot when you need to satisfy your sushi craving and not spend a ton. They also have their own parking lot which is a plus.
google avatar

Şhereë H.

Yelp
I love the concept of what they were going at with the buffet. To combat on the waste. You can order all you can eat but let me tell you something the sushi was good, the desert was slapping definitely would recommend the green tea ice cream very mellow and not too sweet. Only criticism I have is the Korean bbq can be a hit or miss.
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
I'm all about AYCE sushi! The service and quick and attentive. There was plenty of space and we did not have to wait to be seated on a Sunday night. However, the sushi itself was not the freshest. Still edible, but you get what you pay for. If you're in the mood to binge eat, this is your spot. The green tea ice cream is the best way to end your meal!

Yelp
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME TERRIBLE RUDE SERVICE!!!!! The service with this one lady with glasses was extremely rude to me,avoiding our table the whole time and throwing our plates super hard on the table as she walked by.don't come here, especially 2 hours before close lol they will get all pissy and mad that they have to attend to people who walked into their establishment late.
google avatar

Yelp
Drove here for a late lunch at 3:07. According to yelp and their website they are open but the workers stopped us in our tracks and bounced us like the time I had a hole in my shoe at the night clubs 20 years ago. They said they are on break starting at 3:30 and we should come back at 4:30. Um I'm not sitting around for an hour and a half. Also strange because there were a few people eating there and their supposed lunch hours are until 3:30. The way they kicked us out was rude and if I were the manager in this situation I would allow customers to sit but make them order food immediately. Instead they lost our business forever with that type of attitude.

Dannie H.

Yelp
I went here with my bf and everything was of decent size, the soups were very watered down for heads up and the sushi rolls are somewhat big with a good amount of fish in it. We came here for lunch and it was pretty good. A solid 6.5.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon with boyfriend and two others. This is their favorite go-to for AYCE sushi. I'm not from the area, so from the outside, it looks pretty run down. But the ambiance is actually very nice and the place looks huge with modern nice decors. Waitresses were really attentive and fast. Boyfriend's brother ordered all the food, I didn't really look at the menu. The concept was that you can order anything you want as many times as you want. They give you the order form and a pen to fill out. Everything came out quickly. That's a huge bonus. My favorites are the small shareable plates, salad and the sashimi. The quality of the sashimi is pretty good for a AYCE. Rolls were okay, I'm not a fan of anything tempura, and our group had ordered three rolls that were deep fried. I just wasn't a fan of those, but the sashimi made up for everything else. I will most definitely come back to visit.

Yelp
Great all you can eat spot. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking. Not a fan of their spicy mayo rolls but the rest of the food we tried we enjoyed.

Amanda R.

Yelp
Food is good, but when me and my friend came in we came in under the impression that the lunch all you can eat price would be 20.99.. since it is monday and that is what it says on the flyer outside. They charged us 10 dollars extra. and yes we did finish every single bite of our food. so there was no need to charge. We asked the servers why did they charge us. and there was no answer just "i don't know"?
google avatar

Yelp
We were looking for a decent sushi place nearby and chose this restaurant. Before we went in we noticed the ""All You Can Eat" sign, which should have warned us about what to expect. Inside the decor is charmless and the staff look bored. We ordered six different items, Spring Rolls, Spicy Salmon Roll, Calamari Roll, Kamikaze Roll, Yellowtail Sashimi, and Spicy Salmon Sashimi. The Spring Rolls were greasy, overcooked, and tasteless with hard exterior. The Spicy Salmon Roll and Kamikaze Roll both had ground fish rather than fresh fish, detracting from the flavor so that they tasted the same. The Spicy Salmon Sashimi also was ground fish. The only real Sashimi was the Yellowtail. I also want to note that they forgot to give me any wasabi or ginger with my order. I then asked for some and they said they'd bring it but never did. Just terrible service and food.
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing to complain about this place. AYCE Sushi experience. If you're going to go here, go here because you want AYCE sushi. If you're going to go here to get the best sushi experience/best quality sushi, this isn't the place. Some of my favorite rolls are the classic spicy tuna/spicy salmon. My ultimate favorite roll is their Passaic roll which is Spicy tuna and shrimp tempura with spicy crab on the top. Absolutely delicious! They also have sides you can get apart of the AYCE experience - such as chicken/salmon teriyaki, shrimp tempura, gyoza, and more!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and quick service. Sushi quality is also pretty average for the price. Good bang for your $
google avatar

Adrienne M.

Yelp
Sushi Village is located on a corner with a small parking garage in the back. The inside is pretty spacious there's seats in the front and then more by the sushi bar. My sister and I got the all you can eat dinner menu for $23 each. We started off with miso soup &.m a veggie spring roll. For the sushi we ordered sweet potato, mango avocado, shrimp tempura and veggie tempura with a side of spicy mayo... YUM! The sushi portions are very generous as well. For dessert, they have vanilla, green tea & red bean ice cream as well as Oreo tempura (fried Oreos). The service is super fast paced they make sure your order is placed, water cups are filled, plates are clear, etc. There were times where I felt rushed but it was fine since we had somewhere else to go. We walked out of the restaurant in 30 minutes! Will come back for a fast all you can eat sushi spot!
google avatar

Kevin A.

Yelp
The decorations outdated and the staff is fairly friendly. The presentation of the food mediocre, but it reflects it's price for an all you can eat sushi buffet.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Personally, I don't like all you can eat sushi because some customers are focused on quantity and not quality. Sushi is supposed to be a healthy way of eating from a culture that takes pride in good quality and longevity. The quality of Sushi Village sushi is good, but I was disappointed with Tom Yum soup with lack of ingredients and warm temperature. Other appetizers like spring rolls, goyza and shui Mai were good. Bathroom in need a good cleaning and other repairs.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
Been there many times. Plenty of options to choose from, during both lunch and dinner menus. Food is brought out quickly and it is very good. Great BYOB location just make sure to only order as much as you can eat. Location is clean and staff is quick but not very friendly. Overall, I will continue to go and take advantage of the ACYE options.
google avatar

Rosa R.

Yelp
First time here although I've passed this place many times over the years. From the outside this place looks small but it's pretty big on the inside--spacious and goes back deep. The food itself is really good. The appetizers are small but enough to get you by until the sushi arrives. The sushi is fresh and the portions are a good size and meaty :) The service here is like most all-you-can-eat sushi spots, they want to serve you as fast as they can and push you out even faster. It's BYOB and they have a smedium sized parking lot. The dinner special is $23 per person. The lunch special is $12.99 per person.

Sam Z.

Yelp
I LOVE SUSHI VILLAGE! This is my favorite spot in New Jersey, such a good underground find. The sushi is beyond amazing and comes out before you'll even blink. My friends and i devour lord of pieces and then never say anything, so the workers are very nice. I love it. So much.
google avatar

Brendalynne F.

Yelp
I can't believe I've waited this long to write a review when this has been my go-to AYCE sushi buffet for YEARS! I usually come here on weekends for dinner when it's $21.99/person, but it's cheaper on weekdays and for lunch. Everything is awesome here - menu variety, quality of food, service, and price. There's normally a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but I don't think I've ever waited longer than 20 minutes. If you don't want to wait though, they do accept reservations! Once you're seated, the wait staff is very quick to get your drinks, pick up your orders, and refill your cups if needed. The parking lot is tiny, but after a certain time, you're allowed to park in the adjacent church parking lot so I've never had an issue with parking. I usually start my meal with spicy seaweed salad, miso soup, shumai, kalbi, and their newly added takoyaki. All super yummy! As for the sashimi and sushi, it's all sooo tasteful and fresh. I'm a big fan of eel, so I love that SV has eel sashimi. It's hard finding an AYCE with sashimi on their menu, let alone eel sashimi. I always get the eel, salmon, and pepper salmon. My sushi favorites include the Crunchy Eel, Passaic, and Spicy Bomb rolls. The Spicy Bomb roll is a fried roll and on the heavier side, so I usually order it last to make room for everything else. I normally end my meal with a few scoops of green tea ice cream (1 scoop per order) and fried oreos (2 pieces per order). Delicious and so satisfying. :) Overall, I think this is the best AYCE sushi buffet around, and if you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! My friend who doesn't even like sushi likes SV for their appetizers and chicken teriyaki lol. There are definitely cheaper AYCE sushi places around, but their menu selections don't compare to SV's and it's easy to eat your money's worth here!

Emmyspecialg ..

Yelp
I go here once every month. the best ever! The service is super fast and remembers you if you frequent the place! They have my order ready!
google avatar

Yelp
Sushi Village is my go to spot for AYCE sushi in north NJ. Do they provide us the highest quality fish? No. But when I have my cravings to stuff my face with Japanese bites and sushi, my friends and I always head here. You select your food options off of two pieces of paper, including salads, soups, hot appetizers, sashimi pieces, specialty rolls, etc. Definitely try the Passaic Roll and the fried Oreos! Seating is divided into two floors, and you can call ahead to reserve your table. Parking is a bit of an issue; the parking lot doesn't have enough spots for the restaurant. Definitely check out Sushi Village!

Yelp
This afternoon, a good foodie buddy of mine and I had lunch at Sushi Village. We'd pass this place for years, but never checked it out. She recently gone inside to try it out, and is now a big fan. So she brought me here to show me how awesome this place really is. We drove over there. The sushi place is on a corner, so you can't miss it. There are a few parking spots on the property, so no worries about that. When you walk through the front entrance, turn to your left to go inside the restaurant. There will be a host table in front of you, and someone will take you to a table. If you are a large party, you will be taken to the elevated level. If you are a group of two or three, you will be seated at one of the booths by the restaurant entrance. She and I were seated here. They have AYCE, so when you sit down, the waitress will ask you what you want to drink and then give you a menu and ordering sheets. You get two - a kitchen ordering sheet and then the sushi ordering seat. You write down how many orders of an item that you want and then give the sheets to the waitress. Make sure to order only what you can finish. Here are the items that I liked: Kitchen Menu: -- Kalbi (short rib) -- Shumai (not the usual shumai b/c they fry it but it's still tasty) -- Gyoza -- Crispy Calamari (like the onion rings kind) -- Lumpia (not bad) -- Shrimp Tempura -- Chicken Katsu (I like Pork Katsu normally, but it was too dry here) -- Salmon Teriyaki Sushi Bar Menu: -- Yummy Roll (eel, avocado, mango topped with crunch spicy tuna) -- Pink Lady (crunchy spicy tuna with slices of tuna, salmon, and avocado) -- Passaic (spicy tuna and shrimp tempura with spicy crab on top) Also, if you still have room for dessert, try a fried oreo with a scoop of ice cream!

Yelp
I really cannot recommend this place at all. The sushi is not fresh, and I'd say even for the price it is not worth it. I had a hard time keeping this food down, and we left quite a substantial amount of "waste" as it was borderline disgusting. The atmosphere itself is not very inviting, with a happy new year 2018 banner still hanging up! It's been 5 years and they haven't thought to take that down, which kinda goes to show how much care they put into the whole operation. The fountain or water tank at the front was also bone dry with wires hanging out, then greeted by a dimly lit room with leds not dissimilar to a dorm room and sticky tables/chairs. The only thing that wasn't disgusting was the service, which wasn't spectacular or bad just doing their jobs and trying to survive. Like I said at first, I really cannot recommend anyone visit this place. Anywhere would be better for sushi.

Yelp
Pretty good sushi at a good price ayce:-) I came on a Sunday morning right when they opened. I kind of like it when you can smell the cleaning agents from them mopping. It tells you that they take care of their restaurant. Servers are quick and efficient. They took my drink order and got my order as soon as I was ready. I ordered the seaweed salad, fish katsu, and a few rolls and sashimi and Sushi pieces. Everything was good, there wasn't anything that I didn't like. My favorite was the squid and salmon sashimi. They were pretty big cuts. Also the rolls are big so be careful about over ordering I was pretty scared I was at going to Finnish all of it. Overall pretty good experience. Can't wait to come back and next time I'll save room for dessert. The place is nice and clean and seems like a cool place to catch up with friends. Parking lot isn't as big so get there early if you can.

QiuJin L.

Yelp
I went there recently and the food was amazing. I loved the sushi there. Prices are very fair for the quality of sushi you get. The place is very clean and has a good ambiance and atmosphere. Customer service is great for the times I went, they are very accommodating.

Yelp
This was probably my most diappointingg all you can eat sushi experience. I 100% understand anything that is offered in an all you can eat context is not going to be the best quality, but compared to other places like Miga in denville and sushi palace, this place definitely fell short. First off it had a weird bathroom scent, which was strange because we were not sitting anywhere near the bathroom. Even worse, the same scent seemed to carry over into the fish as well. I love sushi and if you know me at all I'll pretty much eat anything, but even I couldn't eat more than a couple pieces. The sashimi was not fresh and the skin of the fish had developed into a darker shade than the rest of the covered parts of the fish. I have no reason to come back here unless a friend happens to pick this place for dinner. I was truly disappointed as I heard about this place from a good number of people. Oh w
google avatar

Jojo B.

Yelp
Wait staff is always full of attitude as if they are doing us a favor by serving us. Few items I can only ask for one time only which defeats the all you can eat aspect . Gave them few tries and same disappointment every time . I don't think I would be returning
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
I've been here a few times before and have really enjoyed it. Went back again last night and I wasn't disappointed. I was nervous after reading so many recent negative reviews but I wanted to see for myself. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all, thy were very diligent about moving the empty plates off the tables to make room, I think that may be what some recent reviewers may have mistaken for rushing or hovering. The food was fantastic as always, we did the all you can eat menu and had a couple apps and a few rolls. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The place was very clean and extremely busy. One person I saw complained about the empty fish tank upon entering, but it is really a water wall that is in the process of either being fixed or removed. The only thing I don't like about coming here is the parking lot, that is where people hover and stalk you until you leave!
google avatar

Briana W.

Yelp
This restaurant is really just okay. Not somewhere I would intentionally visit again. First the parking lot can get full especially on a weekend. It's byob which is a plus. I ordered the all you can eat sushi, they make everyone order on the same sheet. So go with the intention to all share. When you try to order your own thing it can get confusing with the all you eat menu. The sushi itself wasn't bad. Not anything I'm dying to have again. The appetizers on the all you can eat menu is a little skimpy. We ordered rock shrimp and crispy calamari and they only served 4 individual pieces The service is ok. I felt a little rushed at some points it seems like they try to have people in and out. Overall the food is okay if you're in the area
google avatar

Ena R.

Yelp
All you can eat reasonably price range and yummy they do have a time limit you can only dine in for 1 hour they let you know as you come in, there very Efficient.

Yelp
Let's be honest, if you're a fan of sushi and you're eating in Sushi Village, or any of the similar all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants that exist in New Jersey, you should know what to expect when you go in. That is to say, you'll get ok quality fish that's sliced too thin, sitting on too much rice. There's a decently large selection of rolls, also made with a bit too much rice. The appetizers will be ok, but mostly on the greasy side, and everything will seem a bit rushed. But again, if we're being honest, none of that really matters, because we're there to eat a lot of food at a cheap price, and if you're with friends, it's also fun. That was the way it was before COVID hit. Now Sushi Village is back and operating at full capacity again, and having had both my shots, I decided to give them another try. I wasn't expecting more than I already described. I was hoping it was just like before. I was hungry and the price, although slightly higher, is still a good deal, especially during the week. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The menu hasn't changed, but somewhere along the way they lost the flavor and the quality. The amount of rice has grown in the sushi and the sushi rolls to the point that you start getting full with your first order, Remember, you can't leave any rice behind or you'll be charged. The fried items are now dripping with grease. Maybe the fryer isn't hot enough. Finally, the overall quality of how the sushi is made seems to have dropped off from "ok" to "what a mess". Having said all that, I will say that contrary to some of the other comments, the waitresses were all very pleasant and hard working, and the restaurant was packed. I'm not ready to give up on Sushi Village. Maybe they just need some more time to regroup. I'll give them another try in few months, but for now I'd say just bite the bullet and pay the full price for sushi you'll enjoy.

Yelp
Really cute decor here and a good amount of seating. We came on a Sunday and we were luckily seated right away. The parking lot is indeed small, but it must have been our lucky day because not only did we get a spot, but we got the closest one to the restaurant (SCORE)! A lot of the reviews seem to be based on service, but I feel like if you've ever been to an AYCE spot before, you should know that they don't exactly pride themselves on exceptional customer service. You're there for the sushi, and that's it, lol. Our waitress was nice and did her job; we didn't have to wait for anything, so no complaints. I always tip 20%, just like I would at any other restaurant, and if you plan to frequent, the waitresses/waiters will remember that and give you a better experience the next time. The sushi here was delicious. Easily the best AYCE spot I've come across. The only thing is that the rolls are huge! But, they have a good portion of fish to rice. Thankfully we never over-order & we make sure we finish our food so we don't get a surcharge (yes, it's a real thing and they will charge you). Not only was the sushi good, but the appetizers and the green tea ice cream were noms, too. This place is less than 10 minutes from my house, so def coming back here again.

Yelp
Despite what's happening with covid and all, I can say they have adapt quite well with the regulations and food quality. They have shield set between booths , waiters are attentive they bring u food and drop off more menu for the AYCE.

Yelp
This place is the bomb diggity ! I've come here plenty of times for the all-you-can-eat lunch special. $14.99 on Fridays. If you are a small group they can seat you fast. Once you put in your order on the paper they are pretty fast with giving out the soups and salads. The fried appetizers come a couple of minutes after. Then once your are done with that you can have a quick conversation and when you remember you are waiting for your sushi, it comes out. All the rolls come out on one big plate. Ask for a side of spicy mayo and you are ready to DIG IN! Rule of thumb:: Do not stop eating once you have started !! If you stop you will feel the food baby ! The service here is great. They are always walking around the lower level so it's always easy to get someone if you have a question or request. The restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Very nice place. I've come for dinner all-you-can-eat once. The dinner all you eat is a fuller menu than the lunch. DO IT! They have fried oreos that get addicting once you try them. Great spot! COME

Yelp
Went there for lunch last Saturday. NOTE: There is a statement on the menu, to the effect that "you will be charged" for wasted food. We ordered quite a bit of food. Mind you this is not the kind of buffet where you go and select your own food. Rather, you must choose from a fixed-price menu. The all-you-can-eat price was, I believe, $27.95 or $28.95 per person. At the end of the meal there were about six pieces of sushi left over. I asked the server if we could take it home. She immediately replied that would be a separate charge. I told her, "But I'm already paying for it." She replied, "No. Separate charge." Ah, I understand- they insist that I pay twice for the same food. So I'm wasting it. am I? Guess what they do with it? That's right- she collected it with the rest of the plates, napkins and straws- and took it to the kitchen to throw it out. That's my first and last time at that place. Completely ridiculous. Who, exactly, was wasting the food?

Yelp
Very nice all you can eat lunch $12.99 plus $1.50 for can of soda. I would have to keep trying this place before I give more stars as I like my sushi to be colder than it was. The house salad was very good but the chicken teriyaki is white chicken breast with teriyaki sauce dropped on it??? I'd have to really come here again and see how it goes as today was not planned.
