Yelp
This sushi eatery is a hidden gem tucked away on a roadside in San Antonio, TX. The ambience and decor was extremely inviting, and their servers very warm and welcoming. As the food came out, my whole family was mesmerized by every dish. Starting with the oysters, it had a refreshing marinade that accentuated the oyster. Next came the grilled octopus in what reminds me of a soy-ponzu sauce. The octopus was grilled to perfection. It was not too raw, and it wasn't over cooked or too chewy. The octopus came out with the Rice with Salmon Roe. The salmon roe gave the rice extra flavor because of its saltiness and paired very well with Grilled Octopus. The Seared Bluefin Tuna Cheek was also very well done, perfectly seared. And if that wasn't enough already, the main course definitely caused a lot of gasps at the table. The sushi/sashimi assortment that came was gorgeously prepared and arranged. There were two kinds of fatty tuna, king salmon, 3 different kinds of red snapper, and I am pretty sure I left out several other fishes as well. I am telling you, my words are not doing these incredibly fresh and delicious assortment of sushi/sashimi any justice. It's definitely a meal I will be reminiscing for years to come. Each slice of sashimi felt like I was swimming with the bluefin tuna, absolutely amazing.

Conclusion:
This is a place you have to give a chance. If you have been hesitant before, have no fear! Walk on in and you won't regret it. Order the fatty tuna and the king salmon if they have it, the chef ( I believe his name is Jorge) does a great job breaking down the bluefin tuna that you won't get any gristle like you might at some other places. I would definitely go back, especially if they have omakase!
