"Swagyu Burger in Poway is the only shop currently in operation in San Diego — other existing locations including Costa Mesa and Garden Grove — it’ll soon be joined by an outpost opening inside the Westfield UTC food court by early April. Brown says the burger shop will be returning to a new space on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach as well as to its original site in Imperial Beach later this summer. The food court branch’s menu features the Swagyu smashburger as well as an American wagyu patty option and the El Swagador, a 1/2-pound burger topped with thick-cut pork belly, smoked grilled onions, and housemade pickled serranos. $25 for a burger in a food court? The hamburger was good, but not outstanding. For $25 I expected the hamburger to have a unique taste - it did not. My son and I had two 1/2 pound burgers, one side of fries, and two Mexican Cokes - with a tip - $77! That makes zero sense. In-and-Out, Five Guys have similar quality and taste (in a real restaurant) for 1/3 of the cost. This idea was not thought out and will fail. I do not recommend unless money is not an issue.

My first time to enjoy a scrumptious Swagyu OG Burger is definitely memorable! First, the friendly customer service by Luis who explained the awesome menu choices! And adding the top notch fries was also a great selection! Seating was also nice with a view of the ice rink. Because of the great service & food, I can't wait to return. Thank you so very much & highly recommend!

Over priced and not great quality. $15 for a burger that is barely and beef and all bun. Better off spending your money next door at Shake Shack for far more beef and lower price. Highly dont recommend

Do yourself a favor and stop by this gem! Our meal was absolutely delicious and offered a refreshing change from the usual burger joints. Marina was an outstanding guide, expertly walking us through the menu. Her dedication to exceptional customer service truly took our visit to the next level. Highly recommended!!

Fake cheese on wagyu. Too salty greasy. No other ingredients, like lettuce, tomatoe, onion. Pickles crispy, but too sweet for this salty/greasy burger. Way overpriced and I would recommend anywhere else but here, where even if it's not wagyu, it's half the price.

For the love of burgers you need regular crispy dill pickles! Burger is good just sweet soft boiled pickles that taste like pineapple are not everyone's cup of pickle. Bring in nice and crispy pickles!

Amazing food and service. Our server Marina was super helpful and friendly. She made the whole experience very enjoyable. She recommended the 1/2 OG and it was well worth the price. Afterwards we tried the Oreo shake and was told it was made with real ice cream. It was super delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. When you guys come ask for Marina, she’ll set you up for a delicious time!
