The Food Halls Opening in Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"While technically defined as a public market rather than a food hall, the historic Municipal Market (known locally as Sweet Auburn Curb Market) on Edgewood Avenue does include 10 food stalls and a bakery owned by local chefs and restaurateurs. The market, which opened in 1918 as an open-air farmers market, followed by the opening of the current building in 1924, also sells freshly butchered meats, seafood, and produce and includes a gift shop and a cooking school." - Beth McKibben

Delicious food! We enjoyed brisket pulled pork, ribs, mac and cheese, baked beans, pickles, and BBQ sauce. All of it was amazing. We had our food shipped from GA to OH. It arrived frozen, and we reheated it in sealed bags in boiling water. It was perfect southern BBQ up north! Highly recommend! The brisket is definitely the star of the show.

This was our first time catering from this restaurant. The catering staff and coordinators were very easy to work with, were able to create a diverse menu for us based on our budget, and were timely and responsive with all correspondence. We had a group of 30 people with varied tastes. The barbecue and brisket was very juicy, the wok-fried green beans Were extremely crisp and flavorful, and the banana pudding was definitely a favorite. Their bread and butter pickles were a surprising favorite, as well, even for people who don’t like bread and butter pickles. I appreciate their diverse menu as compared to other barbecue restaurants and look forward to trying more of their items. We are hoping to do a food truck experience next time!

Delicious food, great staff!!! I can't decide what is my favorite thing - it was all so good. The pulled pork, the beef brisket, the bourbon baked beans, creamy mac & cheese. I can't see where you could ever go wrong with anything on the menu. While you're there, grab yourself some of their BBQ sauce and spices!!! You won't be disappointed with those either!

The string beans will have you begging for more. If my mother would've cooked string beans in bacon fat I would've ate my vegetables every time.,the food is great and the sweet tea is perfect. The brisket was tasty, but the pulled pork is better. The staff is awesome and the bartenders are cool. Check them out if your in the area. You can park behind Urban outfitters for free!!!

Sweet Auburn Barbecue catered our son and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner this past Friday evening at Rogers Bridge Park. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and easy to work with. They wanted nothing more than to help make this special occasion a success. I had made a special dessert request of banana pudding in mason jars and it was AWESOME. The service was fast and everyone really enjoyed it. Sweet Auburn Barbecue will be my first call the next time I have an event. Thanks Anita and Howard and staff.

I tried the brisket plate and I was pleasantly surprised. Most places around here have their brisket "pulled apart" but theirs is chopped, Texas style, which is what I prefer. 3 different sauces, one sweet, one spicy, & the last very vinegar based (Carolina style). Jerk collard greens were good, along with mac & cheese w/ Texas toast.

Let me tell you! This has to be some of the BEST BBQ in Henry County!! Had the BRISKET PLATE tonight at a networking event and ❤️ it! Ask for double sauce- its amazing and a perfect pairing! With two sides I had the MAC & CHEESE and BOURBON BEANS but when I say the dessert was out of this world - yum! Salted Caramel BANANA PUDDING 😋😋😋😋. Im looking forward to the Christmas markets coming up where these guys will be to try the tacos! #following

Southern/Asian fusion BBQ restaurant that does wings, pulled pork, and brisket very well. Came here to try their new location, staff was very friendly but obviously new and couldn't answer a few of the table's questions. Other than that it was a superb time! We started off with what ended up being a table favorite, the pimento cheese wontons with bacon jam dipping sauce. Next we each had a different kind of BBQ to try them all. Highlights were the brisket and Wu Tang smoked chicken wings. Loved all of the sauces, especially the coconut lemongrass ribs, unfortunately they were rather tough. Cocktails were well made and interesting, Sweet Auburn BBQ is embracing Atlanta cocktail culture for sure!
