It was a wonderful experience as for a first time visit. This place, guys, is outstanding. It was busy but we didn’t wait more then 5 minutes to be seated. Everybody from the staff was so kind and welcoming. Our server Ashlee was so attentive and calmly answering our questions. Ask for her when you decide to visit this awesome place! Everything we have ordered was super delicious and freshly prepared! Highly recommend!!!⭐️

Google
I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place was so outstanding that I felt I had to! Going out to eat with an 18 month old is no small feat. This place catered to small kids (and their parents) SO phenomenally well. Our daughter’s food was brought out first and SO quickly. They gave all of the small kiddos a balloon and coloring sheet with markers to help keep them busy. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and we left feeling so well taken care of. The restaurant was clean and bright. I seriously cannot say enough good things about it. We’ll be back FOR SURE.

Google
It's a nice brunch place to throw into the mix. Busy on Sunday so be prepared for a Lil wait. The food had great flavors and portions. The biscuits and gravy to me gave off pizza vibes, lots of fennel seed, bay leaf n chives, big chunk sausage. The iced mocha was tasty.

Google
My husband and I are visiting Chicago, we are from Georgia, and this place will be somewhere we will have to come to next time we are in Chicago. The service was amazing and very quick. Mr.Peter and all his staff are phenomenal. I got the creme brulee french toast and caramel cappuccino, and the coffee was so good that I just had to order two!

This breakfast spot is a great example of a high-quality establishment that still offers good amounts of food for a fair price. Sweet Cafe satisfied my need for a classic breakfast without trying to be too gourmet with the dishes. Although none of the dishes I tried stood out as unique, they were all excellent in flavor and presentation. There is only so much one can do with breakfast food, but the best anyone can do is make the highest quality breakfast food around, and Sweet Cafe does exactly this. The staff was quick and attentive. The location is fantastic because one wouldn't struggle to drive up to this restaurant. They even offer valet parking for those who might need extra assistance to avoid the walk to the door. The atmosphere is very bright and illuminated because of the natural lighting. The food might be slightly more on the pricey side, but they do not skimp on the portions. I got to try the berry pancakes (delicious and fresh), the pork adobo chilaquiles (good but I want more of a spice kick from the dish), the bacon (thick cut and crispy; too rich for my palate), and cold brew (refreshing and bold with flavor!). My sibling had the eggs benedict, they were good as well. Sweet Cafe is the type of place that I would like to bring people to. Give them a try, you'll probably enjoy your experience as much as I did.

My family and I dined here Saturday morning. We had a great experience. The food was great, I tried the southern Benedict and my husband had the meat lovers skillet. Both meals were great portion. The manager Peter was very inviting and kind when we first entered. He was so nice to my children and made our experience much better! We will be definitely coming back!

Google
What a wonderful first experience! Ashlee was attentive, friendly and (since it was our first time visiting) informative. We arrived at 2:30p and were honestly expecting to be turned away. However, the friendly man at the counter welcomed us in warmly and reassured us that we should relax and enjoy our meal. And what an awesome meal it was! Fresh and served piping hot. The bread pudding french toast was the perfect combination of crisp yet moist. The side of ham "off the bone" was generous and not overly salted. The glassed atrium was bright, clean and provided a comfortable warm place to enjoy our meal. So happy we stopped in! Will definitely be back to try the other inviting menu offerings!

Yelp
Food: We came for breakfast but will become regular. Huge portion, flavorful. We also ordered fresh squeeze juice and latte, all are amazing. Service: Quick and attentive, they also provided great suggestions about food, drinks. Ambiance: clean, a lot of seats, easy parking. Spent some time to talk with the manager too, nice and caring about customers. Overall: 5/5, will definitely back.

Yelp
They charge a BS "service fee" to their customers to pay for their "MERCHANT FEE" charged by the credit card company. This fee is for the benefit of the business since it reduces the risk of having cash on hand. Fewer robberies Fewer mistakes making change Less "shrinkage" from employees They offer to take of off of you pay cash. Robbers and Thugs may target this place more often. Come on Sweetie take this fee away. After all, I drove to your restaurant and did not charge you my "mileage or gasoline fee". Nope. I pay my own bills.

Yelp
Chose this spot for weekend breakfast with a friend who lives in Chicago. It was a nice halfway point via drive for the two of us. Parking was limited in their lot; certainly there is not enough parking to even half fill their dining room. When the bank next door is closed, they allow customers to use that parking lot as well. We had to use street parking. When we arrived, seating for our party of three was quick, just two minutes(!), and service was similarly fast. We ordered within 5 minutes of receiving our menus and the servers were good at checking in on us regularly. The food was delicious, especially my Brussels sprouts salad. The chorizo hash bowl was also a hit, but we found the veggie bowl to be drastically understated. Prices were low for a Chicago suburb and the food was fresh quality. Would absolutely return for some good eats and hometown corner restaurant atmosphere.

Yelp
This is a newer restaurant in Jefferson Park. The place still has the gleam of a brand new restaurant but it's been around for seven or eight months now. It was a surprise to me given there was a fair number of tables in and outside the restaurant. You might be tipped off by the name but their menu leans heavily to the sweet side. I didn't feel like anything sweet at the time so opted for something savory and it was very good. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something else, from the longer section of the menu. There is a small parking lot, and there's also some street parking around the place too.

Yelp
Very delicious ! The wait staff were excellent! ! They kept asking if you need anything. You weren't rushed . It's a cute place! A lot of seating area! Well lit sunny. They have a cove area to sit and dine and outdoor patio for nice weather. There is a parking lot. When the PNC bank is closed you can park in their lot also. The restroom is modern and clean . I loved my sandwich BLTA My daughter loved her French toast and my sister had a Denver omelet. The wait staff brought me ice so I could make my green tea iced tea with honey and lemon Will enjoy it again another time!

Yelp
This restaurant has only been open a few months and I have already visited about 6/7 times. It's officially my new breakfast spot. I have tried several things on the menu and all are delicious. My personal favorite are the biscuits and gravy or crepes. Service is quick and good. The newly remodeled location is nice. Seems busy with tight parking lot but haven't had a wait yet.

Yelp
Solid place for brunch. Tables turn around pretty quickly so that on Mother's Day we didn't have to wait too long. Lots of delicious options. I had the Southern Benedict, which interestingly came on four biscuit halves, two with sausage patties and two with the poached eggs. Hubby enjoyed his omelette, and pancakes were delicious and fluffy and not too sweet. The ambiance is bright and modern. There are high chairs but no boosters for kids. Only two bathrooms (both gender-neutral), which isn't really enough for the number of tables there. Parking lot is small and cramped but we managed to find a spot.

Yelp
Came here about a week ago, and it was a pretty good experience. The food was MUCH better than the service we had. When we came here, it was pretty busy because public schools were on spring break, so many families were enjoying their day off together. This made the parking lot packed, as well, and honestly, the parking lot for this place is kinda a nightmare. It's small, and the rows are close together, so it's hard to get in and out of the parking spots, especially because cars are constantly coming and going. When we walked in, my mom and I were meeting our friends here, so we told the nicest hostess that. She suggested that she could seat us at a table instead of having us wait on the bench at the front of the restaurant, so we were seated at the last open booth table. All 4 of us fit comfortably at the table, but it is important to note that this restaurant is small inside. You do end up sitting fairly close to the tables next to you. I ordered a mean green juice (9 oz for $3.5). It was delicious and had kale, spinach, romaine, green apple, cucumber, lime, and pineapple inside. Such great flavors combined! My mom and her friend ordered Bloody Marys, but when they came to the table, our waitress who also made the drink, filled the cup so high that the drink spilled onto the table and all over the cup itself. She didn't even grab anything to clean up the table until my mom asked for napkins... That was red flag #1 for the waitress. As for food, all 3 people I was with ordered Denver omelettes ($15). They all enjoyed it, especially the ham that was inside. It included green pepper, onion, ham off the bone, and Wisconsin cheddar cheese. The omelettes also come with a side of toast, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, or hash browns. I ordered the Veg Head ($12), which was absolutely magnificent. Everything was fresh, and the textures worked well together, such as the crunch of the greens combined with the soft pita and smooth hummus. This pita comes with organic mesclun greens, sauteed mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes (which I excluded from mine), green peppers, onions, hummus, and Gruyere cheese. I will crave this again, so I know I will be back here for it. During our meal, our waitress wasn't attentive and seemed to skip our table multiple times while going to others instead. She also took a while to give us our check because she never checked back in with us after we got our food, so we had to wave her down. But she acted sweet and nice when she gave us our bill so she could get a nice tip LOL. Overall, I would come back here again, and it's conveniently located. The food is delicious and I would recommend it to others. The service needs to get better, especially because it's such an intimate and small place, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, and maybe she was just having a bad day. I'm not sure what her name was, but she was an older lady.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Our waitress was really nice and talked to us, the ambiance was great as well! There was a screened in outdoor section that was really cool. Last but not least the food was great! We had the Berry Waffles, Challah French Toast and the Greek Omelete, all were delicious.

Yelp
02/16/24 - I finally made it to Sweet Cafe for breakfast. This use to be Big Top for many years. I live right down the street about 2miles away I wondered what was going here. I found out one of my former colleagues was the architect on this project. Ivan posts many of their projects on Facebook so I knew this was coming. Ivan & his partner Manny have been very prolific with/many projects being built. Well Sweet Cafe is finally done & open about 16 days ago and I got a chance to stop by & check it out. The existing building was pretty hideous. Ivan & Manny created a beautiful new restaurant that is a welcome addition to my neighborhood. The exterior got a complete makeover & is a huge improvement to what was here before. The interior is a large spacious dining room can probably accommodate about 50 people. Very sleek w/2 large dining areas. One is in a brightly lit area w/a large glass wall facing the parking lot & Higgins Ave. The other large dining space is adjacent to the exterior space & is about the same size right by the serving station & kitchen I ordered the meat lovers skillet that came with pancakes or toast. The skillet is very good but a little too greasy. The bottom was swimming in oil (fat from the bacon & meat?). Like I said I had the meat lovers skillet that came with/bacon, ham, sausage, cheddar cheese & potatoes. I got the pancakes which proved to be too much for me to finish. Great job w/the restaurant Ivan & Manny nice clean brightly lit w/nice brown & tan tone interiors. The service &'food We're both very good & I will be back again if I can navigate the long journey from where I live (2 miles)

Yelp
We have been to Sweet Cafe three times since it opened and every time have been very happy with both the food and the service! The quality of the dishes is always excellent and the servers uniformly great! In particular, we like Sandee, who is a step above the average person who waits on tables. She is extremely attentive, and seemingly very interested in doing everything she can to make our dining experience nice. We very much appreciate this and think she-AND Sweet Cafe-deserve to be publicly applauded!

Yelp
Big fans of the place. Got to meet some great people there, George and Stefania. This beautiful restaurant and very spacious with plenty of sunlight serving up some pretty good eats. This is a breakfast and lunch spot located where the old Big Top is, a lot of us were sad to see it go but Sweet Cafe is here to stay! There is a parking lot and plentiful street parking. Huge selection of breakfast and lunch options. We had the Nutella French toast which is my little boy's favorite, my favorite is the ham and eggs, the breakfast potatoes are absolutely delicious. They also serve soups and salads as well. All the food I have tried there is fresh and cooked to perfection. The service is top notch with a great location to boot! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Yelp
This is my third time coming since it opened. I had the chicken sandwich today and I really liked it. The service was great! They were very accommodating to us and I really appreciated that. It was closer to the afternoon when I went so it wasn't full like I know it is in the mornings.

Charmaine D.

Yelp
Cute breakfast spot. Went here on a Sunday morning around 1030 and were seated right away. I tried the chorizo Hash skillet bowl - it was good, but I think I enjoyed the side of pancakes more. My husband had a waffle loaded with fresh strawberries and blueberries; that looked delicious. We asked for plain chocolate chip pancakes for my child with chocolate chips on the side. They brought the chips on the side but drizzled the Pancakes with chocolate, which defeats the purpose of having them "plain." So, of course, I had to scrap off as much of the chocolate as I can so the boy would eat it. This place will be a go to option for future brunch spots.

Yelp
Everything was outstanding ! We all liked the food and service. No wait for a table , everyone seemed comfortable. My daughter had enough left over for another meal.

Yelp
Taking sweet moments to another level Sweet Cafe just opened up and not only does it look delicious but it also tastes delicious! look at all these yummy plates Nutella French toast, Denver omelette with hash browns, caramel apple pancakes , Chorizo hash, and a refreshing Bellini all the food was amazing and such a wonderful place for a group of friends and family to gather in!:)) The service was very sweet she made sure that everyone was taken care of!

Yelp
This restaurant sits where the old Big Top restaurant once stood. Totally remodeled and a fresh new look, its Brand new everything! Looks great , modern, fresh awesome views from wherever you sit and the food is very fresh and you taste it too, from the freshly squeezed strawberry/ orange juice, to the breakfast potatoes served as a choice over the hasbrowns, WOW! Had the cappucino- perfect! Fresh fresh fresh ! It was soo good that I didn't even have to add sugar. Also ordered a iced latte and again soo darn good, you won't go wrong with either choice. I ordered a bowl of the chicken noodle and guess what? Made fresh in house!! Not salty like those canned ones you get served at in the majority of restaurants! Broth was on point ash's the veggies/ chicken was FRESH!, I Ordered the Guiltless omelette and had them add Feta cheese and diced jalapeños with hashbrowns , and we also ordered the Mediterranean Benedict and oh my gawd how could is this. You can taste the olive oil used a spray I assume when they cook so not only is it healthier but tastes so much better overall for your health. The atmosphere here is second to none I've ever experienced and the atmosphere here is amazing! The staff here is all attentive, & very cordial , everyone here helps everyone. You may have your server at your section but you can see and feel the positive vibes/energy carried out from the minute you walk in at the host stand to the ones that bring the orders out to your table. Even ordered a pastry in the way out. It's Greek, looks like a macaroon but more like a tiny Boston cream and boy oh boy was it goooood, but too sweet but sweet enough to enjoy the freshness of it and chilled just right! Can't wait to go back!!
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Sweet Cafe has definitely become one of my favorite brunch spots in Chicago. They make one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had! I also love their Greek frappe and freddo cappuccino. Food always is always so fresh and delicious! Will always be my go to spot for brunch for sure
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious every single time. So glad this place is in the neighborhood but it would be worth the trip if it wasn't.

Yelp
Great vibes, glad I went and will be back soon. Good service and friendly atmosphere. Everything was clean and new.

Yelp
Great for no frills breakfast! This is a newly opened restaurant, stand alone construction with a parking lot. A very large, clean and inviting space. Like many breakfast only restaurants, it's walk-ins only. We sat down right away on Easter Sunday so I think it shouldn't be too much of a wait on most days. I didn't have high expectations but I was blown away by the taste of the food. We got the southern benedict, meat lovers skillet and pancakes. Phenomenal flavors all around. Service was friendly and attentive. The manager came by to do a service check as well. Then you go back up to the front to pay and we finished everything up in an hour. Like I said, when you want good breakfast, friendly service and an inviting space...this is the spot.
google avatar

Sandra C.

Yelp
Was in the area. Just read about this restaurant opening up. Went to try it and it was good. It was busy in there. The parking lot is small so we parked on the street. The place is newly decorated and very spacious. There is a nice selection of food on the menu. The food we ordered was yummy! We will go back again soon. We even got to meet to owner and he stated that they just opened two months ago. He was very nice and checked on us as we ate.
google avatar

Dolores O.

Yelp
Everything! The wait staff, the owners are all fabulous people! They seem to really care about you. The food is great! Im going through the entire menu & am very happy there are many favorites coming from my taste journey! The modern design of the restaurant on the site if the previous old big top restaurant is petite yet visually expansive. It feels like a green house with all of the light being brought in from all the wonderful glazing! Go there for fun people, great food & ambiance!
google avatar

Victor S.

Yelp
Overall food was ok. My wife raved about the organic greens and berry salad. My BLT was a bit disappointing. The tomato on it was literally cut in half and place on the sandwich. Too large to bite into. The service was good and the ambiance was nice.
google avatar

Millie R.

Yelp
Perfection! Great food and service. My favorite part of my breakfast was the potatoes.
google avatar

Fay T.

Yelp
I got the original eggs benedict but switched out the english muffin with the chive biscuits for an upcharge. Completely worth it!!! The breakfast potatoes was the best that I ever had. Very clean inside and the staff is very friendly.
google avatar

Sylvia G.

Yelp
I live just a couple of blocks away from the restaurant and I was so excited to come on opening day! The chicken and waffles were fantastic... The waffles were sweet and fluffy and the chicken was crispy and delicious. They were served with lots of warm maple syrup and whipped butter. I went to the Big Top Restaurant when it was open and the Sweet Cafe was very different. It was modern, open, and airy...with large windows and tons of natural light. The service was quick, friendly, and welcoming. I dined alone and brought a book to read. Even though it was crazy busy on opening day, I didn't feel rushed to leave or ostracized for eating alone. I can't wait to come here more often!

Angela G.

Yelp
Great breakfast. I had the Greek omelette and my husband had the meat skillet. Everything was so tasty. Loved the breakfast potatoes too. We will be back.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Food is overpriced for the portions. $4 for a cup of coffee and they don't come around with refills you constantly have to ask. On the bill there's a line item for "Service Fee" when I asked what the fee was they said it was if you are using a credit card. But because it's a line item on the bill it's taxed. But if you pay by cash they just subtract the fee amount not the tax. The other thing is about 39 minutes before closing one of the employees starting sweeping and there was dust all in the air. Good thing I we were done eating.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
So happy to welcome this cafe to the area! The restaurant is nice with bright windows. Hopefully they have an outdoor patio in the summer that's dog friendly... Coffee was tasty. Got the salmon benedict and my Mom ordered the berry crepes. Service was friendly and quick. We will be back!

Tanaire M.

Yelp
Food, environment and vibe is awesome. We had breakfast and both my kids enjoyed it! Wish they offered espresso coffee, that's my only suggestion and wish! Ha! Other than, the breakfast is delicious.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
Great food. People and cleanliness! Can't go wrong here! Make this a sure go to for your breakfast needs!
google avatar

Maxine C.

Yelp
Love a good brunch spot and Sweet Cafe checked all the boxes . Dedicated parking lot, fresh new buildout , staff was very attentive, kid friendly with markers at every table . Ordered the veggie omelette, hit the spot with that side of fluffy pancakes . We sat in the enclosed patio, very cute and cozy. Definitely going back !

Joe P.

Yelp
Clean and well-run little breakfast place in a safe area of the city. Friendly staff takes care of all your needs. Food is good but will not knock your socks off. Overall, a pleasant place and a solid meal.

Yelp
Let's say I was disappointed. Came in and was given a nice table by the window. We both ordered Ham and Brie panini $14 each. Nice size bread. As the the insides... It looked like 1 slice of del ham, 1 slice of Brie, 1 quarter of a slice of apple... Had to ask for soda refills. Wrong side brought with the one order. She did check what she had written. She had written it correctly. She just did not check the order before she brought it out. This is the part that really ticked me off. The waitress brought us the check and said you can pay at the cashier. About 10 minutes later she comes back and says she is leaving. We can just pay her. My thought was that she wanted us to pay her so that she could get her tip. She did say there was no rush in us leaving. She could have just told us she was leaving and we would have a different server. We gladly would have given her 20% of total bill. With that said, she went over to her replacement. Both of them looking at us obviously talking about us. I would bet she told her to watch for the tip as we had not given it to her yet. The restaurant at this point was fairly empty. She did not leave for another 15 minutes. Her replacement kept looking at our table as she walked by numerous times while attending to another table. While she looked for the tip, she did not ask to refill drinks, etc. The restaurant was fairly empty at this time. Needless to say we did not leave even 15% tip when we left. We live in the neighborhood. We will not be returning.

Yelp
Good full service breakfast place. Recently opened in the renovated space that was formerly Big Top Restaurant. Weekends you can expect a wait and it is noisy and a little chaotic. Once seated, there really isn't a bad seat in the house, and the staff is well trained at this newly-opened point in time. Lots of action, high energy vibe, high density table layout. The parking lot does not seem nearly big enough, but was also newly constructed with the rest of the building. We will be back, as will the rest of the neighborhood and their extended families.
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
The location is the old Big Top restaurant, which been completely renovated and transformed into a nicer, newer breakfast/brunch spot. I went solo just to check it out and had the sausage benedict (I thought it was ok and sausage patties tasted like frozen patties you get from the store) with breakfast potatoes (these were good), side of corned beef hash (just ok, nothing special) and a green juice (good but pricey for the amount you get). Service was fine, waitress was nice and attentive, which you'd expect for a newly opened restaurant. I love that it's close to where I live and would go again to order some different things. I do feel the place is pretty pricey, the portions are nice and I'm sure they'll adjust.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
The establishment has a charming and contemporary atmosphere, although the parking area may be a bit challenging to maneuver for larger vehicles. The food provided was of high quality, but the service was efficient, resulting in a quick dining experience.

Yelp
Our 1st experience with this new jewel added to the neighborhood had a small hiccup however George fixed it fast and without being condensing. We have to admit that we were super excited to have them finally open and couldn't wait to dive in. My husband picked me up the Brunch Burger. The bacon was on the thick side and was tender and crisp. The flavor was fresh and not over powering. The over easy egg was cooked to perfection with the whites cooked and not runny. The yoke was delicious. The beef patties had the char broil flavor but not over powering like baby bear says...just right! The bun was fresh and held everything together nicely without falling apart. All in all a very good 1st impression along with a desire to dive deeper into the menu. Sweet Cafe is a welcomed neighbor and refreshing brunch spot. Oh yes BTW, hubbs said it is very beautiful inside! Next order I will take and post pictures. I started eating my burger and well didn't stop lol.
google avatar

Matthew N.

Yelp
Yet another terrible place around here! It was nothing like the pictures. I just had a plain 'ol burger, and they botched that to hell and back to the point where I couldn't even eat it! I just ended up munching on the fries that tasted like they were boiled. But that was better than my wife's omelet that was rubbery, and had huge chunks of unsauteed onions in them. Even her hash browns were more like mashed potatoes, not crispy at all like you'd expect! I just have to accept that I'll have to drive a bit to get anything good.
google avatar

Nancy S.

Yelp
Ruben was terrible. About 1 oz on chopped brisket on sandwich. Little thousand island dressing, so waitress ask if I would like more. I said yes as there so little on the sandwich. On check I was charged an additional dollar for this. Waitress never mentioned that charge when she saw almost none on sandwich. It's not the dollar, but lack of information on her recomme.dation. disappointed in this place.
google avatar

Di Z.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken panini for $14. It really needs more chicken/panini stuff in there for that price. Was mostly bread. Needs more insides. Was only ok, I make better ones at home. I will give them another shot but order breakfast, maybe that's where they shine. Service was great though.

Yelp
The visit has been an absolute delight. The establishment boasts a charming ambiance and the staff members are exceptionally courteous and attentive. Throughout my visit, my coffee cup was consistently replenished, a testament to the attentive service. I opted for the egg white Denver omelette without ham, accompanied by a side of breakfast potatoes and pancakes. The breakfast potatoes, in particular, were a revelation - remarkably creamy and bursting with flavor, prompting me to request a portion to go. The coffee, omelette, and pancakes were also of exceptional quality. Notably, the use of real syrup further enhanced the dining experience. Taking into account the location, food quality, service, and promptness, I wholeheartedly rate this establishment a perfect 10.

Yelp
My Mother chose to have her 95th birthday party here. The owner George was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everything was right. His wait staff were gracious and very attentive. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend Sweet Cafe. Kerry Vavra

Yelp
Finally a good breakfast place in the area. The place looks beautiful inside and is incredibly clean and tidy. There is a ton of natural lighting and the sunroom seating area is very nice as well. The omelettes that we ordered were just the right amount of crispy and fluffy and seasoned and the veggies and additions weren't too big or too small. The potatoes that it comes with are on an entirely different level! Crispy, smooth and buttery and garlicky. Honestly none of it needed any salt or pepper or anything because they were just *chefs kiss* The pancakes were soft and fluffy as well and cooked perfectly and the butter and syrup they came with took them over the top. If I could give this place a 10/10 I would! We will definitely be going back and trying other menu items and telling others about it!

Yelp
Hands down the BEST breakfast dining spot in the Chicago area! The restaurant itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with a stunning greenhouse section that is comfortable, open and airy. The breakfast (eggs Benedict is spectacular!) and lunch selections are wonderfully prepared with the finest, freshest ingredients that set craving into high gear. The staff is cordial, professional and extremely attentive. They operate like a well-oiled machine with a touch of flair. Please go to Sweet Cafe! You will become a devoted customer. Count on it!

Yelp
Great little spot on the NW side of the city! I was quite impressed with interior in addition with the menu. very tasty, large portions that I would consider shareable, great decor. The area needed something like this! As for the complaints about the parking lot... there is plenty of parking on Mulligan... duh!
