Great atmosphere, music and staff are friendly. Best pumpkin waffles I’ve ever had. The Benedict was really good over the biscuit; I would have preferred less hollandaise sauce but overall still good. Has browns also good, a little greasy but the flavor is there.

Gotta start off by saying the people working there on Saturday were THE NICEST people. Warm and attentive and absolutely genuine people. The interior wasn’t trying to be too much, casual but comfy. We loved our food, didn’t go crazy, got two different versions of the chicken and waffles (Buffalo and honey garlic). The honey garlic was killer and worked really well with the waffle and syrup. Also loved the hush puppies, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and the sauce it came with was killer. Also really loved that Arnold Palmer!

It was okay. The bartender (Natalie nunn doppelgänger ) looked like she rolled out of bed, attire was not presentable at all literally in pjs. The food was good at least. Got mac & cheese, shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. No complaints for the taste of the food . Pretty busy inside. Bathroom was clean and cool pictures on walls. The rest of the place was regular felt prices should match what the place is giving a lunch room environment. Needs a revamp with establishment, staff and order system.

Everything was so good! When you get inside, you're seated right away and you order through the QR code on the table, which feels seamless. Food gets to the table hot and crispy, and you can drizzle it all with their syrup. So good! Staff were super friendly and amazing.

Conveniently located in downtown Brooklyn, I highly recommend this spot for brunch. There was very little waiting time and the atmosphere was welcoming. The waffles were fluffy and made to perfection. I’d be back to explore more of their menu.

Went here on a Saturday about noontime. Was able to get a table right away. Staff A+++. Super friendly & attentive. Chicken and waffles good (of course like most waffles, gets cold quick). Chicken was tasty. Biscuit was/ the jam was tasty. I saw advertisement for The Leader Sandwich on my way out, looks good! I might have tried that if i saw prior and just picked at partners chicken waffles to get that taste in. lol. Anyway, hopefully they have the sandwich when i return in a couple of months. Try this place.

First time trying this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. My kids loved their Mac and cheese. Chicken tenders and bone-in chicken were juicy with a crispy and crunchy crust. It was busy at lunch time but we didn’t wait long to get a table.

I finally went to this spot. They don't hold back on the flavor. I really appreciate the option to choose between dark and white meat for the Honey Garlic Chicken and Waffles. Ordering through the app while dining in is seamless.

I finally made it here i always drove pass it but never really had a feel for until the other day. So it's a great place to meet new people,brunches, or just catch up with friends and family. First time trying Sweet Chick and it was Good. We ordered the chicken and mash potatoes with gravy & biscuits and also chicken salad crips along with their special drinks of the day. The person that took the order service was ummm...questionable. But the guy that brought the food out to our table his presence was refreshing, he made sure we had utensils,napkins,extra sauce I mean his name start with a J but I forgot it (sorry) but made Vibes inside so much better! Food and drinks arrived rather quickly and musical playlist they had was good! Cool place to vibe out all around in a safe manner.

Same review as before but would recommend skipping the fried chicken BLT and the pancakes, and getting the hash browns.

I went on a sunny Friday afternoon. They provide outdoor and indoor seating. It is a petit restaurant, but the spacing of the tables it does not feel tight/crowded. Was told we can take a seat anywhere and to use the QR code to view the menu and order. I love that, but when viewing the menu, I wish you could see the actual food and not an AI of the food. I was confused because they used the same shot of most of the food, so I didn't know what to expect when the food came out. The food came out pretty quick, and the drinks were good. The staff was nice. Didn't get to try their chicken & and waffles, but I will come back to do so.

Today's Sweet Chick breakfast experience- Zero crowd, great music, cold food, wonderful staff and according to my companion a REALLY good Boozy Lemonade. I wish I had asked what type of cheese was in the grits before ordering. Food could've been great but it wasn't even lukewarm. The staff is so accommodating though and they have wonderful customer service energy. I could've just sent my plate back and asked for a re-heat. Maybe I will next time...

The fried chicken is where it's at. I tried to select a healthier option and was terribly disappointed. I could have had chick fil a for cheaper and better. The Nashville hot grilled chicken was severely lacking in flavor and size and had no sauce so was super dry. It was tiny especially when you compare the size of the chicken to the fried chicken my mom got. The fried chicken, however, was very good!

Had dinner there with my cousin. And you order from your phone and they bring it out. Service was fairly good the new manager Jiggy was very pleasant and attentive. The chicken sandwich was disappointing. It was a small piece on a bun with three or four hot seasoned pickles and they had a good kick to them. For $18 it's not worth it. Now the wings were pretty decent. They had good flavor and were cooked well. They have one bathroom that I had to wait in line for. They did have a bar that you had to walk up and order from. They play music and it's a little loud so you may have to ask them to turn it down a little. Don't know where he is sourcing his chicken breast for the sandwiches but they may need to ask Popeyes.

Spent the afternoon at the Brooklyn Museum and was starving after 3hrs viewing some awesome pieces. My nephew had this place pop up on his radar...I, of course, YELP'd it and resoundingly agreed! So totally on point per the other reviews! Street parking, Wednesday 6p we actually found a spot about a block away in a residential area. It's right on the corner of Flatbush and Park place, and sets back enough to have outdoor picnic table seating: a December evening, too chilly to be outside, but good to know there's an option Not a huge dining space, but was only about half full when we got there (though was getting crowded by the time we left, 7:30ish) Several 2-seater tables and only a couple 4tops, I can't advise a large group to go. But great for 1-2 Music pumping might be a bit risqué, but the atmosphere is welcoming, and made so by the worker who immediately greeted us when we walked through the door..suggested we could sit anywhere there was an empty 2-seater, leave the 4 for four, we could scan the menu plastered on the table, place our order from the subsequent link (table # auto assigned to the order) or order at the small bar, and someone would bring our food out. Def faster than having wait service, but then, not so sure if/why a tip would be required/expected. We even got up to get our own water. We opted to order online while seated. Food didn't take long to come out piping hot, and was NOT disappointing! We both decided to try the honey chicken biscuit to see how it compares to CFA...and though CFA is great, this place beats it hands down. You have multiple flavor choices for the ckn breast: Memphis/bbq/honey etc.. the biscuit is over an inch thick, as is the breast. Biscuit has a sweetness, baked well, and the ckn breast was tender and seasoned to perfection It doesn't LOOK huge, but don't think it won't fill you! AND THEY HAVE KRINKLE FRIES! Yall know I love my krinkle fries!! Much more in the bag than I could eat at one setting, so I took the balance home The waffle and ckn strips looked so good I ordered them to go and plan to eat them in the morning...may add more to the review after breakfast. You can view the full menu online easily, but do know you will pay extra for lettuce, tomato, etc. total for two was $60, so (for an Alabama transplant) a hefty price for a sandwich, fry and drink. But I REALLY enjoyed it! Couldn't afford to do lunch there everyday, but I'm glad we tried. I'd prob go again, and def would recommend it to others There is a small bar, I didn't order an alcoholic bev, but the mango lemonade was very good!

A friend and I ordered food from here and I'll just say we were pleased. I got the spicy honey butter chicken biscuit and they got the veggie version of the bbq chicken sandwich. We shared an order of fries and the hush puppies. As a chicken biscuit connoisseur, I must say this stands above a Chick-Fil-A: the filet was thick, juicy, expertly seasoned, and the honey butter added a welcome sweet heat to the saltiness of the sandwich. Additionally, the biscuit was fluffy, buttery, and sturdy enough to withstand the girth of the chicken. You definitely get your money's worth. The hush puppies and the fries were so-so -- nothing spectacular-- but at least they were seasoned well; the hush puppies had a hint of jalapeño which added some complexity. The dipping sauces for everything were killer, though. Highly recommend getting the "good good" sauce. My friend's veggie bbq "chicken" sandwich was okay; they said they wished it was a little saucier and had some more depth of flavor. They did say they'd try it again in the future because they're always looking for good vegetarian comfort food options.

For a lack of better words; wow. I have been dreaming of this place since I left it. It's a popular spot so if you're planning on dining in, beware of a wait, but nothing too crazy. Once seated, you can either go up to the counter to order or scan a QR code and order through your phone. I opted for the latter and my food was out in good time. Now onto the star of the show; the food. Oh my god perfection. The salty and the sweet = out of this world. The butter they give you is both regular and a sort of berry butter which adds an extra layer of flavor. Delicious! The hashbrowns are crispy and add the perfect extra element of savoury to the meal. I had such a fantastic time and will be going back VERY soon.

When the Bklyn prospect location opened it was a vibe. After COVID-19, it has not recovered. The app to order food is wonky. There is no customer service at all. They dont even greet you when you walk in. Trying to get someone's attention us close to impossible. This should be strictly a take out location. Not a dine in since it has a lack luster environment. I won't be back.

Their Shrimp and Grits!!! The Chicken and Waffles.... The food is SO good, the restaurants style and music are on point. Unfortunately, I liked this location wayyyy better when it was full service, the continued COVID serving style vibe is not appealing what so ever.

Sweet chick never disappoints! Dining in or delivery the food is delicious. My boyfriend and I shared everything you see, the hash browns (mid), jalapeño hush puppies, honey garlic chicken tenders (my fav!) BBQ chicken tenders and the best side, we had to each get our own, the grits!

My go-to spot when wanting fried chicken! This place offers amazing food and ambiance. Great place to go with friends and grab a quick bite. Love everything on their menu but their chicken sandwiches are definitely my favorite. They also have so many different types of butter for the chicken and waffles. The service is quick and friendly. Definitely recommend!

So sweet chick is sweet chick the chicken is amazing. But personally don't care for this location out of all of them. I go to them all pretty frequently but this location I'm always met with static when I ask for alterations. Even when they are not busy. I hate salads that are not already tossed which is the case at this location. I also always ask and don't mind paying extra for maple chipotle chicken over my salad which the other locations have no issue doing free of charge. I had to pay for extra dressing , maple chipotle sauce . It's just not the experience I'm going for and I get the same thing at all locations so when craving that specifically I will not be coming back to this location. Unless it's for something very simple ‍maybe they need a easier going chef at this location idk but the disconnect makes this my least favorite out of them all

The chicken sandwiches here are great, they remind me of chic fil a, but elevated. Id much prefer this place over chic fil a. You sit down, scan a QR, and order on your phone. Then someone brings your food to you when its ready. It is expected that you clean up after yourself before leaving. They ran out of large soda cups the day i went, so they offered to refill my cup anytime which was nice. They were playing music and had indoor and outdoor seating. Overall nice trendy vibe. Would i eat here again: yes Ambiance: casual

We came here on a Saturday evening before going to the First Saturday's at the BK museum, which its only about a 15 min walk from the restaurant! Food/Drinks: 4/5 There is SO much on the menu to choose from! I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and waffles. The waffles were not too soft but not too crunchy, the perfect consistency. It came with 3 or 4 chicken tenders, after the meal I felt satisfied because it was GOOD but not totally filled. I ordered the rum punch and expected it to be strong but it was on the weaker side yet still delicious. There is also free water off to the side that you can get. Don't make my mistake and order a $4 water bottle. The prices do add up but I'd say it was worth it! Service: 5/5 You order your food through a QR code and pay online with apple pay which is convenient! But if you would like you can make your purchase at the counter. The seating is first come first serve but the host is super dope and did their best to snag us a spot outside on the picnic tables, we just had to wait a bit! Then we came back in because it's still spring and allergies are so real. Even after us playing musical chairs, he tracked us down to make sure we got our food, which was so kind! Vibe: 5/5 The music was bumping, it wasn't too loud that you had to yell over it unless you are in the far corner by the windows. In the front of the restaurant it's loud enough to vibe but not overpowering. Sweet Chick has a cozy feel that just feels comfortable and the inside decor is super cute. Fitted with a chalk board and a neon sign by the cashier the decor is very cool! Y'all maybe I'm just used to food spots have bad bathrooms but the bathroom here was SOOO nice! Clean, tissue paper, paper towels stocked, and smelled so good! There is only one stall so expect a bit of a wait but it's worth it.

The fact that they offer every dish in vegetarian style using soy protein is a hit - love this place whenever I'm craving some fried chicken, but don't want to eat the Chickies Truly my go to fast food place.

We were starving and looking for something to eat after a funeral. We found Sweet Chick which was surprisingly not busy on a Saturday at brunch. The service was good and waiters were friendly and efficient. Order by scanning a QR code. Pay through this mechanism and good is brought out when it's ready. We had chicken and waffles and a hot honey butter chicken sandwich on a biscuit. Also ordered the waffle hashbrown. Also the presentation of everything was good. The food was cold leading me to believe that it was not prepared fresh. It was probably sitting back there and they plated it as orders came in. Taste was underwhelming. Definitely have had better. Oh, and so expensive!

It was a rip off. I can't ever go back. Overpriced and overrated. The vegetarian chicken was six dollars for a single piece and yet it's barely covered a spoon. Regarding the side order of mac & cheese, it was finished in one and a half fork-fulls. Avoid this place.

Small location with large taste; indoor and outdoor seating with deliciously crisp fried chicken and a watermelon lemonade that hit the spot. Fast paced environment, with courteous staff ensuring quick orders and turn around times for service. Simultaneously offering a laid back environment with dim lighting and neon signs inside and picnic tables outside. Sesame ginger option was a hearty and filling option, but the table winners were the chicken and waffles with the buttermilk coconut cutie pies.

Got the chicken salad and it wasn't that great. I do wonder if I was in the right mind to get the salad when it isn't a signature item but I was mad hungry. The fried chicken pieces were too salty, I thoight I'd get way more Avocado and it was super basic overall. Don't get the salad if you come by here. I've had their shrimp and grits and it was alright but better than the salad. Yeah, don't be like me and get a salad at a fried chicken place as a way to try to be "healthy". Be forreal

Let me start by saying, in the span of spending four days in Brooklyn, we came to Sweet Chick TWICE. Yes, the hype for Sweet Chick is definitely REAL and it lives up to it 100 percent! This location has both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff and service is amazing! From ordering your food with a QR code at the table, to getting the food in about 10-15 min, to the heavy pours on the cocktails, to the BUMPING MUSIC?! I was already in love. But the food....as I said. It was SO GOOD, we had to come back a second time. The chicken and waffles are so delicious and their BBQ chicken sandwich was something serious! You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly recommend the chicken and waffles, the chicken and fries, and any of the chicken sandwiches. If 21+, you must try the Purple Drank cocktail! Tastes just like grape juice, very dangerous lol Sweet Chick, you have my heart and I miss you so much!

Chicken was super crispy and juicy and tasty! Had the honey garlic chicken and waffles with vanilla icing! Everything was delish!! Loaded fries were soooo good and the frose 5 stars!

Quick, southern food. It's not bad for a casual sit down spot. But I wouldn't say there's anything special about it either. Like, it's good if you're just craving chicken and waffles real quick and don't want to do a whole party brunch or whatever. Otherwise, It's just OK. I sat outside during the summer months and as soon as the food comes out, there will be bees flying around you. Fair warning

Sweet Chick was bustling but we managed to snag a picnic table outside which offered prime people-watching opportunities. You order at the counter, and your food is brought out to your table. All the employees were pleasant and helpful. We didn't have to wait too long for our dinners to arrive; I'd selected the spicy honey butter chicken biscuit ($11) and a side of Brussels sprouts ($7). My sandwich was choice. There was no mistaking the fact that generous measurements of honey and butter went into it! Surprisingly, it wasn't as spicy as I expected. The biscuit was somewhat crumbly, just be aware. The Brussels sprouts with molasses gastrique and toasted almond slivers complemented the sandwich quite well. But my companion ordered the classic chicken & waffles ($16) and received three unimpressive chicken tenders and was disappointed since the same meal offered more chicken at a different Sweet Chick location.

This is my first time at sweet chick. I've been wanting to go for awhile. The food lived up to the hype. I'm not the biggest chicken person so I went with the sesame ginger salad. It was good overall. The Brussel sprouts and buttermilk biscuit are what caught me by surprise. Each were amazing plus the homemade jelly added to the biscuit gave it a twist. The servers were friendly. The ambiance has a soul food vibe. My only concern is the slight wait time and order errors. They forgot my ginger dressing with my salad and when my gf ordered a lemonade it took a while to come out. Other than that. Good experience. I would come back.

The one star is because the drink was pretty strong but the service from the ladies behind the counter-1/10. Nasty attitude and if it wasn't for my friend wanting to eat there I wouldn't have stayed. The food although the chicken was seasoned well, it could've used more of the Hot sauce that's placed on it. The biscuit was room temperature so that really brought it down. The fries meh. Not good but not the worst fries. I probably would've looked past a lot of this if not for such the rude customer service I received. The guy cleaning the tables was probably one of the few interactions I had with the staff that was respectful. He checked in twice to make sure everything was fine with my table. Please have your staff work on better customer service for future guest.

Sweet Chick wasn't so sweet on me. Visited the Flatbush location on a fluke. To be fully transparent we planned on going to another establishment close by but didn't realize it wouldn't be open for anther two hours. Had already found parking so we discuss to stay in the neighborhood. Arrived around 3PM on Saturday right before a huge rush. The host approached and directed us to scan the QR code and place our order. Bae had the Nashville chicken and waffles. I went for the Honey Maple. Our food arrived in decent time and was quite flavorful. I actually enjoyed the waffles. They were quite light and fluffy with a slight hint of strawberry. I didn't use much of the spreads but there were options of glaze, strawberry and about 3 other flavors to choose from. Bae introduced me to Mike's spicy honey and it was the perfect kick to being out the flavor in the chicken. I stole some of his cayenne doused pickles, not sure why mine didn't have any. Overall the food was good. The serving was 2 really thick pieces of white meat with two waffles cut in halves. I was happy to take home one piece of chicken and waffles for later. As far as customer service, it was quite underwhelming. I'm still trying to figure out why the hostess was wearing a biker shorts and sports bra with crocs. I've never seen that much lack of decorum in the food/ service industry ever. Especially given that's families eat there. The workers seemed unenthused with their jobs and it was off putting. As far as ambiance, it was beyond loud. My watch kept signaling that the volume of the environment was damaging to my hearing. I'd order take out in the future

The food at this location was good, not as good as I recalled from the other BK or LA locations. The vibe was different and we had to ask for the music to be turned down twice. It was blasting at 11am, we could barely hear ourselves. We also had to walk our own water over which was interesting to say the least. Overall it was cool.

Thank goodness the drive here is far. I would be eating this chicken every day. Hard to find really good chicken and waffles in our neck of the woods. This is, hands down, my new obsession. I could do without the QR Codes tho. I would actually rather have waitstaff and tip them, rather then order on my phone. Flatbush is the best location. Super clean and fabulous staff.

I haven't been to place in years and everything changed. The menu provided lots of options that can be overwhelming but very organized. I LOVE the easy service of ordering the food and paying on your phone. Overall, great vibe, fast service, and delicious food.

Great spot for having brunch. Had the honey bbq wings and it was delicious. The hash browns were okay and the jalapeño hush puppies were good. Grits is a must!!! Staff was very attentive.

I've seen this place on DoorDash for months and finally tried it and damn, I get it know. The Nashville chicken sandwich is fantastic, and the side of mac & cheese was a perfect complement. The grilled chicken could be a bit more moist, but this place is a great find!

Fire just with the plane waffle and fried chicken. Nice when the reg is bumping!!! Nice when paired with a drink as well. The boozy lemonade is mad crazy!!!

Love this location -- the food, music, and overall food is on point. My friends and I came here on a Saturday night and it looked like a great place to hangout, whether it was with a date or with friends. The staff is nice and efficient and they play a really good selection of hip hop and rnb. We got a variety of the alcoholic drinks they offer here, and they were all good. Not too sweet and strong enough. The food itself is a superstar -- loved my honey garlic chicken tenders, and I got the bacon + cheese flavor for the accompanying waffles. Also comes with yummy butter and syrup, and different sauces to elevate your meal with. Was super full by the end of the meal, even if it doesn't look like a lot initially. Overall, excited to come back and try more. Everything on the menu looks great!

Yum! Southern fast food done right by a dedicated crew. I swear the grits are some of the best I've tasted in NYC so far and that honey butter chicken biscuit is no slouch - chicken was super tender and the biscuit was so fluffy and buttery. The indoor music was surprisingly loud for brunch times, but they have outdoor seating where it's less bone throbbing.

Full disclosure that I got this delivered but boy oh boy was it underwhelming. Keep in mind I'm from Atlanta so I know what fried chicken and Nashville hot chicken should taste like and it wasn't this. I tried the Asian slaw chicken sandwich and the mini hot chicken and waffles. The sandwich left a lot to be desired. The chicken was over cooked and I had to spit out some super tough pieces. The sauce on top was too sweet as well. The "hot" chicken just had some cayenne thrown on top that mostly landed in the pickles. The flavor and cook was better on the tenders though. The waffles were dry and left much to be desired. All in all I would not order again/return especially for their prices in the full plates.

I have been hearing about this place for a while and wanted to try it and unfortunately I did not even get as far as ordering my food for a few reasons. I walked in and someone approached me and their demeanor was basically like they didn't want to be there. They explained that we can dine there or take out and you don't get menus you have to scan a bar code and order on your phone. The atmosphere is not welcoming the chairs and tables look horrible and cheap and the chairs are very uncomfortable. When I looked at the menu I got up and left I'm not paying my hard earned money to an overpriced cheap looking place like this.

The chicken dishes here are the main attractions. I had Nashville Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Loaded Cheese Fries, & Brussels Sprouts. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. It's a mellow cozy spot that is great for getting grub before an event at Barclays Center.

There's nothing you can order here that won't be tasty and their customer service is always on point. Good playlists and location too.

Delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Service was quick. I ordered a honey chicken biscuit sandwich. I usually do not like ranch but the ranch here was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Soooooo I'm in Brooklyn today! We stopped in to Sweet. Chick to show some love and we most definitely enjoyed our food. We ordered chicken and waffles, egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit, and shrimp and grits. The food was good-not the most amazing but good for sure. Sadly the chicken and waffles were not good at all . It's an okay spot to support but I cannot see anyone repeatedly returning. Here's some advice if you have nothing but time then stop by BUT if you're in a rush or you have a limited amount of time do not stop by. It took 46 minutes to get our food. Also, you place your order on an app and the tables are waiter-less.

Staff are super friendly and quick with making food. grabbed myself nashville tenders the other night and it did not disappoint :) prices are in the middle range but the food is incredible delicious. would def recommend to go here

Celebratory outing for my bff after she got a new job so we decided to go to sweet chick and mmmm mmmm mmm does that chicken hit. I love the convenience of the self service it's fast and easy. You just pick a seat and order from your table and within 5 mins your food is ready. I had the blt chicken sandwich and it was delicious fresh white meat lettuce tomatoes and nice crispy bacon I added some hot sauce cause I love spice but it was perfect. To pair with it I got the Mac and cheese which I do love at sweet chick cause it isn't my first time but today it lacked alil salt. My best friend had the sweet chili chicken sandwich which she loved and the loaded fries which I also tried they were good but could use alil more ranch but everything else was good. The service was so nice the team there always welcoming and generous thank you for your hospitality I'll be back!

I visited Sweet Chick for the first time 2019, it was a full service restaurant then. The hot honey was amazing and chicken was *Chef's kiss*. Recently went back for the first time since then and I noticed they rebranded into a 'casual dining' joint, which honestly is brilliant! It's kinda like if Chik-Fil-a had a Super Rich Auntie. I love the new recipes and the Brussel Sprouts are addictive. I rarely give 5 stars but I think they've definitely carve out a path for viability.
