Luke’s Local Is Taking Over a Huge Ninth Avenue Location in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Described as a "spacious dessert haven" on Ninth Avenue, this dessert spot is one of the newer additions to the corridor that the new grocer will join when it opens." - Paolo Bicchieri

Sweet Glory - Review - Sunset - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Sweet Glory in the Sunset is a master of all things mille crêpe cakes. Every slice has 20 cream-coated layers of spongey crêpes, in flavors like pandan, durian, Biscoff, and Oreos. Each slice will run you between $10 and $12 (whole cakes can be preordered online). And we'd also suggest giving into anything else that's batting its lashes at you behind the display case, especially the sweet corn basque cheesecake or crème brûlée toast. Unlike the original Tenderloin location, this Avenues shop has a lot of seating, with both front and back dining rooms plus a sunny patio. You can always take your slices to Golden Gate Park. Though, admittedly, we’ve never completed the five-minute trek without taking a plastic fork to our dessert." - Patrick Wong

San Francisco’s New Restaurant Openings

"Tenderloin dessert shop Sweet Glory has opened another location in the Inner Sunset. You’ll find mille crepe and chiffon cakes with Asian flavors like pandan coconut, taro, thai tea, matcha, and durian. And you can always take your slices (or whole cake) on the go, or if you simply can't wait, find a seat inside or on the small back patio." - ricky rodriguez

Google
Super cute location, there are 3 different "spaces", with different décor, so take your pick! All the crepe cakes look super good, I tried the Tiramisu one, it has a very unique texture and full of flavor. All the cakes are made fresh at the store, you can even watch them making through the front window. Weekdays are pretty chill, give it a try!

Google
I am an old customer. I have intended to come to the new shop many times but just got the chance. The atmosphere of the shop looks very good. The shop is white, airy, open, and cool. There is a cool breeze. There are four tables in the front area, enough for customers to rotate. The cake display counter is beautiful. The area in the back is spacious and there is also an outdoor area. We ordered a piece of cake each and a glass of drink each. We sat and talked for a while. I am very happy that the shop has grown so well. I will find time to eat often.

Google
Gorgeous oasis with outdoor seating. Modern earthy indoor decor with light French cafe music. Not the best tiramisu crepe cake I've had but definitely good. The cream was delicious but the crepes tasted a bit stale. I will try the sesame cheesecake when I come back. I also tried the salted egg yolk latte which was delicious. Next time I would ask for it to be less sweet. So many interesting flavors of cake. Can't wait to come back! There is also a bathroom and they allow laptops during the week except Fridays.

Google
Sweet Glory SF is next-level dessert heaven! I stopped in recently and was blown away by the quality and creativity of everything I tried. The cappuccino was expertly made—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they care about the craft. I couldn’t resist the Madagascar Bourbon Brûlée Basque Cheesecake, and it completely lived up to the name. Creamy, caramelized, and infused with a deep bourbon vanilla flavor that was warm and luxurious in every bite. The brûlée topping added a gorgeous crunch that made it feel extra indulgent. And then came the Pineapple Guava Paradise—light, refreshing, and full of bright tropical flavor. The pineapple and guava paired beautifully, striking the perfect balance between tart and sweet. With a cozy vibe and kind, friendly staff, Sweet Glory SF is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. A must-visit for dessert lovers and coffee fans alike.

Google
one of my favorite spots in the city for good drinks, service, food, and atmosphere! i love their honey citron iced tea, it comes with candied oranges. the staff are always friendly and attentive, and the cakes are sooo cute. be warned they are a little pricey for a slice but worth it if you want the experience! the hot tea we ordered came in a cute glass pot and mug. there’s a large back room with more seating and outdoor patio. we will definitely be back to try more of the menu options!

Google
A good stable pastry spot in the city! I’ve known them since their Larkin days, and I’m so happy they’ve grown into such a cozy and elegant space 💛 The staff were very kind and informative. The interior was stunning — warm tones, classic decor, perfect for a quiet chat or catch-up. They’re one of my favorite crepe cake spots in the Bay! The cream is super light, and the cakes I had weren’t too sweet (yay!). Their drinks lean a bit sweeter though, just a heads-up if you like milder options. One thing I love is that they don’t allow computers on weekends — it keeps the space feeling more like a proper afternoon tea destination than a co-working café 🫶 Definitely recommend as a cute “sister” spot for tea dates or peaceful dessert time!

Google
What a delightful Café Sweet Glory is! The exterior is not well marked, yet having the address made it easy to locate The inside is absolutely clean yet welcoming at the same time. The staff are all well informed, friendly, and accommodating. On this visit I ordered to go, but I would love to come back and explore sitting indoors where it’s tastefully decorated or on the sunny patio in the back. I had a wonderful iced coffee drink ,and intend to try some of the other various offers on my next trip here. It was so hard to select just one pastry, but we went with the tiramisu crêpe cake, which we shared three ways. It was deliciously rich yet light.

Google
The environment of this café is quite nice — very clean and chill. We ordered the matcha mille crepe cake, Thai tea, and lychee fruit tea. The cake costs $13 per slice, which is about the same price as Lady M, but the quality was just average — not particularly impressive, so it felt a bit overpriced. As for the drinks, they were okay and easy to drink, but my friend thought the Thai tea was a bit too sweet. Overall, it’s not bad, but definitely a bit overpriced. If the prices were more reasonable, it would be perfect. Also, something to note: from Friday to Sunday, laptops are not allowed in the café, so it’s not a good spot for working on weekends.

Sophia Z.

Yelp
Yummy, lots of seating. You can't do work here on weekends because of the no laptop policy, but cakes are good! A little pricey (~$10 per slice) but has very interesting flavors.

Yelp
Matcha latte (hot): 5/5! Got regular sweetness and it was perfect for my sweet tooth! It was also very creamy and had a strong matcha flavor. Love the presentation too! Ambiance: Perfect for catching up with friends. The decor is just chef's kids There's plenty of seating (and a lovely patio out back) They strongly encourage against working w/laptops on Fridays & weekends. Service: If you get it for here, they bring the drinks to your table, but you have to bus your own table when you're done. TLDR: Definitely recommend coming here for a nice lil matcha and hanging out with friends!
google avatar

Yelp
Located on bustling Irving Street in the Inner Sunset is this dessert café. Even though it looks small from the outside, there's actually another room in the back and an outdoor patio. Order at the register, find a table, and your desserts and drinks will be brought to you. My order: Latte: $6.00 +Drinkable temperature: Hot, but doesn't burn your mouth/tongue +Strong coffee balanced with creamy milk +Pretty latte art -Mug didn't have a handle: I thought this was a safety hazard since it contained a hot drink. Blueberry Cheese Crepe Cake: $12.00/slice +Made of 20 layers of light airy crepes +Blueberry cheese filling reminded me of blueberry yogurt. -A bit on the sweeter side Side notes: 1.) Restroom available for customers. 2.) Limited street parking *Verdict: If I was in the area, I'd stop by to try their durian crepe cake and salted egg yolk coffee.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this dessert spot and such a surprise that it's open so late! The pretty crepe cake options definitely lured us in. We decided to try the pistachio basque cheesecake and it was so creamy full of pistachio flavor. The graham cracker crust also had crushed pistachios which was a great balance to the cheesecake. Super cute seating area with an aesthetic vibe. They even have a rack with cute homemade ceramics. You order your desserts and receive them right at the register so you can sit right away and enjoy. Will be coming back for crepe cakes and to try their array of drinks.

Yelp
It's a very cute spacious cafe. I went at 12 pm and 3 pm on two different Saturdays and there was always a seat available. The matcha hallabong drink and taro crepe cake was really tasty. The only downside is that it is definitely on the pricier side. But for the atmosphere and taste, it's worth it.
google avatar

Kearra B.

Yelp
You "cake" me smile, Sweet Glory! This little cafe is such a cozy and cute spot, perfect for catching up with a friend or just unwinding with something sweet. We ordered the hot chocolate, which was rich and comforting, and tried the cookies and cream cake along with the brûlée cheesecake; both were delicious and beautifully presented. San Francisco is full of gems like this one, and Sweet Glory definitely earned its spot on my dessert rotation. On to the next sweet stop!
google avatar

Ally K.

Yelp
I loved the hojicha latte! Millet crepe cake was good as well. Super cute ambiance and really good vibes. No computers!
google avatar

Arti N.

Yelp
It's decent and I like how it's not too sweet but it is $12 for a slice of cake which imo is pricy. And the matcha was ok, not super sweet but the strawberry flavor helped w that.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
I love the modern and cozy interior design of this café -- it's a lovely spot to hangout with friends while enjoying dessert. They're best known for their crepe cakes, but I specifically come here for their basque cheesecakes since they're one of the few places in the bay area that offers it in so many different flavors. I ordered a whole black sesame basque cheesecake for my birthday, and it did not disappoint! It was creamy, nutty, and smooth without being too heavy or overly sweet. Even my dad, who usually avoids cheesecake because of the richness, finished his slice and said it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their basque cheesecake flavors. It is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it to satisfy that craving once in a while. Just be aware that parking in the area can be a bit difficult.

Yelp
A friend of mine recommended this place to me and I was off so why not check it out. I ordered the pandan coconut crepe cake and I also ordered the honey citron yuzu drink. The crepe cake was very smooth, silky, and rich in flavor. The honey citron yuzu drink was very refreshing. The service here was good. The workers here are very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a cute little dessert cafe with a cozy yet refined atmosphere serving delicious crepe cakes and refreshing drinks. Definitely one of the best dessert spots in SF. I'll forsure be back to try more crepe cakes. Try it out if you like. :)

Yelp
Sweet Glory is my favorite cake cafe in the city. I've been to their Tenderloin location back in 2021 and like that they are in the Inner Sunset now. I like their matcha adzuki crepe cake, the pandan chiffon cake, and the black sesame cheesecake. The sparking matcha Jeju citrus drink was refreshing too.

Yelp
The pastries were delicious better than I expected! The place had a chill vibe, which we really liked! wished I could've tried all the flavors! We would go there again!

Yelp
Sweet Glory is a cute little cake shop known for their chiffon cake, crepe cakes, burnt basque cheesecakes, and lattes notably with their not too sweet taste. The interior features some small tables but I was surprised to find there is a hidden outdoor patio in the back. So if you've got a furry friend with you, you can enjoy the patio outside with limited amount of shade. There is a gender neutral restroom as well. The dessert case is sparkling clean and enclosed for hygiene purposes. The selection is great with a lot of unique asian flavors from ube, pandan, sweet corn, salted egg, the list goes on. Each cake slice is about $10-$11 and they're not huge slices either. Bourbon vanilla burnt basque cheesecake - cheesecake was on the denser side with a strong cheesy base. The vanilla bean flavor is a standout each bite. The whipped cream on top is creamy yet light enough to contrast the heavier cheesecake texture. Pandan coconut crepe cake - I'm not usually a fan of crepe cakes but this was good. The crepe layers are delicate and soft while the pandan essence is strong and floral. The coconut cream complements the crepe cake well adding a touch of sweetness. Service was friendly as all of the staff members were warm and kind. After you pay, they will give you a number table holder and then bring out your order to your table. If you're looking for a cute dessert spot and craving cake, check out Sweet Glory. The desserts are high quality and not too sweet!

Yelp
Date of Visit: 8/20/2025 Visited the Sweet Glory cafe on 9th Ave at Inner Sunset after my haircut. This was my first visit to this store, but had been to the other location on Larkin few years ago. This store in Inner Sunset is much bigger with plenty of seating and an outdoor patio. I ordered the Lavender Latte $6.5 and the Passion Fruit Mille Crepe Cake $12. Both were very nice!
google avatar

Yelp
Food Rating: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Ambiance/Service: 10/10 Overall Rating: 9.7/10 I really loved the overall vibe of this cafe, the calming music and cozy interior decor made it such a relaxing spot to hang out. Everything I tried tasted great, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality. Service in bringing out everything was fast! Passion Fruit Mille Crepe Cake- $12 Rating: (9/10) The crepe cake had the perfect cream-to-crepe ratio and wasn't overly sweet. The passion fruit flavor was refreshing without being overpowering. Definitely something I'd order again and would love to also try a different flavor. Vanilla Latte w/ oat milk - $7 Rating: (9/10) A solid vanilla latte with a nice balance of flavor, smooth and not too sweet. The price is also super reasonable. Momo (peach) Tea - $5 Rating: (9/10) Beautiful presentation and a lovely fragrant peach flavor. The black tea base was pretty decent quality for the price.

Yelp
My friend & I will go out for "sweets" on occasion. It was my turn to select a place. I did an online search and discovered this sweet shop. We came on a Monday around 1:30pm. The desserts are displayed with names of each. Lots of ooh what should I get? Asian influence for sure. Ordered - * friend ordered the pandan coconut mille crepe cake with a tiny pitcher of coconut cream. She enjoyed the crepe cake. * I ordered the Japanese sesame basque cheesecake- anytime I see black sesame it's a magnet for me. The cheesecake was creamy and the black sesame very subtle. * we both had an americano as they didn't have any drip coffee then. There's two seating areas. One in the front and one past the kitchen in the back. We sat in the back. It was somewhat drafty so I kept my down jacket on. Once finished you bus your dirty plates and coffee cups.
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
I cannot explain how obsessed I am with this place. If I could, I'd be here every week. Every cheesecake and crepe cake I've tried has been phenomenal - amazing texture, light and airy, and strong flavor profiles that do not fall short. The reigning winner for us every time is the Madagascar Bourbon basque cheesecake. We try something new every time, but always get that on the side. I also love the taro (comes with diced taro) and passion fruit crepe cakes. Service is always quick, even during peak hours. It's a spacious shop, there's more seating in the back and an outdoor patio. I love Sweet Glory!
google avatar

Sophie V.

Yelp
Super cute dessert cafe moment in the city. The crepe cakes were super soft and sweet and yummy! I love when foods taste exactly how they're named, the earl grey tea crepe cakes ACTUALLY tasted like I was drinking earl grey tea. The best thing here is the crème brûlée toast, it's super delicious and I always love a good balance between crunchy and soft textures! Been here twice now and will be back for more!
google avatar

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Cute cafe tucked away in the sunset. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating they have - beyond the main cafe area, they have a back room with 5 tables AND another few tables outside in the patio. I love how a lot of the cakes have asian flavors - black sesame, taro, pandan etc. We tried the pandan chiffon cake and really enjoyed it. I loved how there was coconut meat in the layers of cream/ The chiffon cake was light and fluffy as well. It also wasn't too sweet. Most of the cakes range from $10-$12 which is a little bit pricey but it is a nice treat. Definitely want to come back to try some of the other cakes and drinks!
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Cute spot for photo worthy desserts! They had tons of fun Asian inspired flavors for crepe cakes and also basque cheesecakes. My friend and I split the black sesame basque cheesecake & hazelnut chocolate crepe cake. Both were not too sweet and didn't taste artificial at all. The plating and decor is also super cute and aesthetic -- definitely picture worthy. I liked how creamy the black sesame cheesecake was! Would definitely come back to try other options on the menu when they switch it up! The staff were super friendly and they didn't rush us even after closing time. Prices are a bit high though which I didn't expect ($27 for 2 slices).
google avatar

Tina N.

Yelp
Very cute shop and nice service. They have cute dish ware and glasses, but we opted for our items to go. They also sell the ceramics if you'd like to purchase a cup or dish. For drinks, we got the pineapple guava paradise and the honey Korean plum jasmine green tea. For the crepe cake, we got the mango mousse mille slice. I liked everything we got and I'd love to come back to try the other flavors.
google avatar

Yucy J.

Yelp
genuinely one of the best cakes ive ever had. i still think about how good it is... the drink was decent, nothing too special
google avatar

Vivian D.

Yelp
Such a cute little dessert shop with a good amount of seating and a small back patio! Such a hidden gem. Everything about it is so aesthetic. Cake slices were a bit pricey but were so cute and delicious. We selected the black sesame cake and were pleasantly surprised by the rich flavor. If it was cheaper i would have ordered some slices to-go. We saw some patrons select a few slices of cake in to-go boxes and sadly dropped them on the way out the door. The cakes did not fall out and obviously was not the cafe's fault, but we saw the workers boxed them up some fresh slices. so generous. Will definitely be back if I'm in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Jane L.

Yelp
There indeed is a second stomach for dessert. After Kogi Gogi, we checked out Sweet Glory for their dreamy crepe cake slices. Impossibly soft and lusciously creamy, it felt like we were scooping delicious clouds into our mouths. The matcha and durian flavors were properly strong. I liked the golden forks - they added a touch of elegance to the experience. The Honey Korean Plum jasmine green tea was the perfect refresher between bites, fragrant and slightly tart. We enjoyed the cozy space - we'll be back to try their other offerings.
google avatar

Karen R.

Yelp
Finally got to try the new location. The staff is so friendly, the place is charming & so many wonderful treats to pick from. Plenty of seating & full of light. I got a lychee rose cooler & it was so delicious! Light, refreshing, effervescent & full of flavors! Also ordered an Ube & black sesame cheesecake to be eaten later, my family got to eat them, well I'll be back next time to have mine!
google avatar

Vega T.

Yelp
Super cute cafe! Reminds me of the Korean cafe aesthetics. I joke that this would be a great first date spot. My friends and I ordered: - pandan crepe cake: love the texture of all the layers and not too sweet. The coconut cream on the side was a nice touch - Black sesame basque cake: it was very rich. It was good but not something you can eat too much of so I would definitely recommend sharing. A tad sweet - matcha latte: it wasn't bad but it was lacking in matcha flavor. The brown sugar syrup overtook the matcha flavor - honey pear jasmine tea: great floral taste and a refreshing drink, especially during the summer. It was pretty sweet - not sure if sugar adjustments can be made since it wasn't asked. Overall just sitting in the place makes me happy. The food and drinks could be improved a bit but overall experience was great. There were signs that laptops/studying was not allowed. Quite a bit of seating and there is a small outdoor seating area in the back as well.
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
Love this cute café that opened up in Inner Sunset last year! I've been a few times and the crepe cakes are very yummy -- not too sweet, and very fluffy. My favorite of the ones I've tried is the pandan coconut mille crepe cake -- creamy and delightful. There's an indoor and outdoor area to sit down, although it can get pretty busy. It's pretty expensive, but the food is delicately made and the vibes inside are good. I would love to come back and try the passionfruit cake soon.
google avatar

Breana L.

Yelp
I love sweet glory! The inside is so cute and it's a perfect place to work or have a chill place to sit and enjoy their delicious cakes and drinks!! I've tried their Earl Gray Crepe Cake and Sweet Corn Basques Cheesecake but my favorites are the Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Basque Cheesecake and Passion Fruit Crepe Cake. I also love their Lychee Rose Cooler. I don't normally pick drinks like that but the bubbly drink was coupled perfectly with the level of sweetness and lychee flavor. Everything I've tried has been great and the fact that they do both great cakes and drinks just shows how talented this shop is at what they do.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
Sweet glory is right on 9th between Irving and Judah. The decor is cute and the indoor seating space with back patio was bigger than one can imagine judging from the store front. We ordered a few slices and drinks, headed out to the patio to sit and eat. I felt like I landed in a kdrama cafe suddenly. My Pandan mille cake was tasty and not too sweet. The drink was alright, food better than drink. Atmosphere was very nice. Everything is self serve, order at counter, pick up yourself and then bus the plates yourself after. Will return!

Yelp
There is a place in San Francisco where you can enjoy cheesecake and some coffee . It's refreshing to see no one is trying convert this space into their own home office , digital nomad spot or study hall computer lab on Fridays and weekends because they do not allow laptops during those days which is rare find in the San Francisco urban landscape. They do serve some great desserts like their different variety of burnt cheesecakes. I had the Madagascar Bourbon Brûlée Basque Cheesecake and each bite was decadent with blend of vanilla and bourbon. The Ube Basque Burnt Cheesecake which was not too sweet but each bite was so delicious and very smooth with a hint of vanilla flavor. Next time I will have to check out if their Durian Crepe cake has a potent smell and taste. This spot is Sweet Glory indeed. This place has good sweet dessert flavors like Ube and cheesecake Bourbon which they are regularly serving A relaxing place and oasis where no one is being obnoxious and disturbing on 9th Avenue closer to Irving
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Lovely cake shop on Irving-bright and welcoming with friendly staff. Service was also really fast and we were able to find a nice table in the outdoor area at the very back of the place. We tried the sesame basque cheesecake and an Oreo Mille crepe cake--both were delicious and on the sweet side. Decadent and enjoyable-a nice place to catch up with friends!

Cicily N.

Yelp
I stopped by this cute cafe for a quick treat before doing some window shopping nearby. I ordered an iced hojicha latte ($6.50) and the strawberry shortcake ($9.50). The cakes are pretty pricey but it's a good experience I guess. When you dine in, they'll give you a number sign and they'll bring your order to your table. There's extra seating at the back of the store (with a water station) and a little outdoor section. Once you are done, you clear your table yourself, there are bins where you leave your dishes. The hojicha latte was perfectly sweet, but still a bit grainy. I kept stirring the drink to get rid of it. The strawberry shortcake was moist, the strawberries were sweet, and the cream was light and not overbearing. I think the strawberry on top of the cake was glazed with sugar but not too sure about the others. I think this cafe would be great if you and your friends wanted a small treat with a cute and cozy atmosphere! Note: I wouldn't suggest studying/working here. No wifi and I couldn't see any outlets (wanted to charge my phone). And as others have mentioned, there is a rule on laptop/tablet usage here on the weekends.

Yelp
I came across this bakery while searching for cakes on Yelp. It sounded and looked interesting. When you walk in, it feels very modern with the counter and display case on the right and the seating area in the left. As you walk further there is additional seating in the back and also a patio. We ordered Cappuccino, Thai tea, and two cake slices. The Cappuccino was pretty with the foam on top, their coffee is made using Ritual brand coffee. It had a good flavor. The Thai Tea is served using half and half. It was flavorful. The slices we ordered was the Japanese Sesame Basque Cheesecake. It was a good surprise of flavor when you take the first bite. It has a rich texture, a little saltiness, good flavor of sesame. The second slice was the Matcha Adzuki Mille Crepe Cake, it had subtle flavor and the texture was moist. Overall the cake slices I preferred the Japanese Sesame Basque Cheese because of the delicious unique taste. The cashier that helped us was nice enough to keep our cake slices in the refrigerator till after we finished our drinks since we wanted the cake slices to go. I would return to try out the other flavors. The price is a little steep at $12 a slice but it is a good treat.

Yelp
Absolute gem of cheesecake desserts in the sunset area! Came on a Saturday afternoon and we luckily got street parking out front. There was a tiny wait inside. Luckily they didn't run out of anything when we got here. The cheesecakes were my favorite, especially the matcha, Ube basque and sweet corn. My family are huge coconut lovers so the Pandan coconut was their favorite. Is pretty pricey per slice ($12 average) but honestly it's great for sharing. The staff were super sweet and patient when I was ordering. Overall I would come back to gift this for a special occasion!

Frenni A.

Yelp
I stop here during my lunchtime walks. The drinks are always made well! Not corporate taste and feel. They make every thing with care, its one cup at a time . Love this place. The ambiance is peaceful. The employees are sweet indeed. It was raining one day, and one of the employees lent us her umbrella. That's how much they trust and value their regulars.
google avatar

Shih Fa K.

Yelp
The cappuccino was very well done: very smooth with nice latte art. The Japanese Sesame Basque Burnt Cheesecake was exceptional. I have only had Basque Burnt Cheesecake at a corporate/franchise chain store, and this one was way better. The Matcha Adzuki was okay, but still well done: not too sweet. The service is responsive, and the ambiance is beautiful. The front sitting area is small, but there is a larger beautiful room in the back. The back porch area is also nice
google avatar

Sylvia Y.

Yelp
Yummy crepe cakes! I got a slice of Earl Grey. The price was what I expected for a slice of crepe cake ($12). The cake was delicious. It had a strong earl grey flavor and wasn't too sweet at all. Service was friendly and efficient. There's tons of seating inside as well as an outdoor section in the back. Great spot to chill and read for a while. Will be back next time I'm craving crepe cake!

Clean and quick service. There are long queues at times however you get your food right after you order and pay. Cakes are dense and flavorful, while not tasting too "heavy". Very beautiful and tasty cakes

Yelp
I came here for dessert after dinner, and this place was SO busy! The line was out the door even at 8:45 pm! It's a really cute shop, and the way they displayed their cakes was so elegant! They didn't have the cake flavor that I wanted at the time, so I went for the pistachio burnt basque cheesecake, and it was so good! Next time I'll try a drink, too!

Yelp
So glad that there is a dessert place in inner sunset! The interior is really cute and while I mostly do take a slice to go, it is a nice location to sit inside (if you can ignore the sounds of the N Judah coming and going). They have drinks but I think most people mostly go for their cakes. They mainly have two types of cakes -- Mille crepes cakes and cheesecakes. I haven't had their cheesecakes yet but I have tried different flavors of their crepe cakes. The cakes are delicious and they do lean more Asian inspired (ex. Pandan flavored) but they also have classics (ex. Oreo flavored). Service is pretty quick. They have a lot of people behind the counter so whenever you're ready to order, someone is usually there to take your order. The price point per slice hovers around $10-15 and if you add a drink it can go to $15-22.

Yelp
Cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, pleasant ambiance but a bit too sweet for this dessert lover. My husband and I decided to share the Passion Fruit Mille cake. It was overly sweet and you definitely need to have a major sweet tooth to appreciate. And at $13 a slice it was also too pricey (especially since you can purchase two large scones from the bakery across the street for the same price!) Service was helpful though not necessarily friendly. There was plenty of indoor seating that extends into the back and includes a lovely outdoor patio. Use of laptops is prohibited Fridays-Sundays.

Yelp
Adorable spot. Short wait on a Friday around 2:30pm, though they had a constant stream of people coming in. It was pretty full inside but plenty of space on their back patio (though it was very sunny there - we took the one corner with some shade). I found parking within a block but felt like I got lucky. $23.74 total for one slice of cake, one drink. * Sesame Basque Cheesecake ($12.00) - 4.5 stars. A bit heavy but delicious. * Iced Salted egg yolk latte ($7.00) - 5 stars. Thick and lightly sweet with a hint of savory. * Mango mille-feuille - 4 stars. Very tasty.

Yelp
Super cute location, there are 3 different "spaces", with different décor, so take your pick! All the crepe cakes look super good, I tried the Tiramisu one, it has a very unique texture and full of flavor. All the cakes are made fresh at the store, you can even watch them making through the front window. Weekdays are pretty chill, give it a try!

Yelp
My first time try this hidden gem in SF. I preordered a 9.5in Durian Mille Crepe Cake, it was "Délicieux". Specially for "DURIAN LOVERS" I am highly recommended everyone should go try some of their cakes. For me this spot is qualify for MRG level. Overall Recommendation: 5 Stars Breakdown: Highest 5 stars & Lowest 0 star Store Atmosphere: 5 Stars Store Cleanliness: 5 stars Staff Friendly: 5 stars Staff Knowledge: 4 stars Products Display: 5 stars Products presentation: 5 stars Products Quality: 5+ stars Products customization: N/A Products Price: $$$ (Reasonable / Worth It) Parking: 3 stars (Street Parking)

Yelp
The crepe cakes are all delicious! They have unique flavors and the cakes are just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely come back to try more flavors! Although the shop is usually busy, I never had trouble finding a table to sit down. There is a cute front room and back room with seats.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe in a great location. The area has so much to do and Sweet Glory is the perfect place to take a break. They have indoor seating with an additional room in the back and a patio outside, literally so much space. Service is fast for drinks and cakes. They have such unique flavors of cake, many of them Asian inspired. We had the sweet corn and pandan coconut. Both were pretty good, but definitely have to have a sweet tooth or be in the mood for dessert. I dont think they're anything I would personally crave. Got an Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Egg Yolk Coffee. The matcha latte was creamy and the perfect amount of sweet, but I didn't love the egg yolk beverage. That being said, both of the items: Sweet Corn Cake and Egg Yolk Coffee, my friend loved so I would say definitely all are worth a try.

Yelp
Ambiance and interior decor of the cafe is on point. Reminds me of a cafe in Japan or Korea. They have a nice outdoor patio too--perfect for a sunny day. We tried a few things: - Mango mille crepe cake - Blueberry mille cheese crepe cake - Pandan and coconut mille crepe cake - Strawberry matcha latte - Lychee rose cooler We loved everything we got. I especially loved the strawberry matcha latte; the matcha was top grade and tasted amazing. My friends and I also thought the best dessert was the mango crepe cake! Def coming back to try more cakes

Yelp
Decent cafe in the Sunset neighborhood that goes for an Asian style dessert vibe. Definitely better than U-Dessert Story's cakes which are dry, old, and a tad too sweet. Tried the black sesame cheesecake and it was nicely rich and creamy, although I would say that the was of black sesame cream on top of the cheesecake was overwhelming. The portions are deceivingly big; perhaps because the cake itself was so rich, it could have done with a smaller portion. The shop was beautiful, and extends in pretty far with a nice outdoor patio. Definitely a place to chill and relax at. You order at the counter and they bring the cake, while water and napkins you can grab yourself, so it's pretty much self service. They also serve a bunch of teas which pairs well with a rich dessert. Want to try the pandan chiffon next time!
