Founded by Ayesha Curry, and nestled in the heart of Uptown Oakland, Sweet July features products from the self and home. Alongside our Sweet July product, you'll find thoughtfully curated items from some of our favorite Black-owned and women owned brands. Meant as a inspiring space for the community to relax and gather while grabbing a cup of our House Blend coffee or a slice of Ayesha's signature bread pudding.
"Ayesha Curry's cafe and retail store in Oakland closing to prioritize safety after a break-in." - Paolo Bicchieri
"A lifestyle store and cafe owned by Ayesha Curry, set to close to prioritize the safety of patrons and staff, was previously broken into in October 2022." - Dianne de Guzman
"For Curry, Oakland has become home, and most recently she's launched what she calls, 'her love letter' to the city with the opening of Sweet July, an elegant emporium for the home. Private-label home goods and lifestyle products sit alongside a carefully edited curation of labels from creators of color." - Edward Barsamian
