"Uber-popular crepe cafe Sweet Paris has officially debuted its sixth location for sweet and savory crepes in Highland Village. The new outpost is apparently the only breakfast spot in the shopping center at 2701 Drexel Drive. The café features the same contemporary designed interiors with ivory tufted banquets, light colored wood, and bronzed metals, all offset by mirrored accent walls. A patio is also located on the premises. In addition to sweet crepes offered in flavors like Nutella, dulce de leche, smores, and apple cinnamon creme brulee, the cafe offers savory options like chicken alfredo, ham & gruyere, or breakfast varieties stuffed with scrambled eggs and a bevy of other ingredients. Also on offer are waffles, salads, panini, milkshakes, espresso drinks, hot chocolate, and alcoholic beverages. The Highland Village location is the first to offer wines pairings." - Alaena Hostetter

Google
We had such a wonderful experience at Sweet Paris; we accidentally misread the closing hours and arrived later than we should have, but the staff were incredibly kind and patient with us. Instead of rushing us out, they welcomed us with warm smiles and provided excellent service, even staying an extra half hour past closing. The crepes were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Their kindness truly made our night, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality. Highly recommend this place—not just for the amazing food but also for the exceptional customer service! We’ll definitely be back.

Got here early around 9:00 a.m. to have a quiet place to do a little bit of work before my next meeting. Good amount of parking, extremely friendly stuff and the food was delicious. I got an omelette which was price friendly and had generous portion size. The highlight would be the tiramisu chai latte with whipped cream. Not only was it picture perfect, it was delectable. Would definitely come by again if I'm in the area.

Google
Food was tasty. The staff are kind and friendly. Is a nice and clean place. You can have a great time there, nice place to have a conversation and enjoy time with family. The crêpes are delicious, and coffee too. Nutella Latte with two espresso shots is delicious. We ate crêpes Chicken Alfredo, Apple Cinammon Crème Brûlée, Nutella with strawberry. Everything is delicious.

Google
Very impressed all around. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the food itself was very tasty, and the atmosphere here is nice and bright and clean and pleasant. I don't eat pork, so I was happy to see I was offered either a turkey or chicken substitute for the bacon with my breakfast. I went with the herbed chicken, and it was very tasty. There are two ladies who work here--Sandra, and Juana--who are incredibly hard-working and accommodating, and need to be recognized for it; nonstop, they are going around and politely helping customers, getting them what they need, bringing them condiments, and checking up on them. Nonstop, and always with smiles on their faces. Pricing here is extremely reasonable, as well. I was actually quite surprised by that, being in the area that it's located, and for the quality of the food. Very nice place.

Google
There was a food allergy in our group so we had to look at ingredients of all the parts of the crepe. The staff was not only accommodating, they were gracious and friendly about it. Well beyond expectations. And after that, the food was excellent! And portion sizes were enough to fill you but not slow you down for the rest of the day. I will be back.

Google
This place is prestigious, and I've been coming here almost daily. I've tried almost everything on the menu, but nothing stands out. I go here out of convenience since I work nearby. I gave the Panini another chance, but they got the protein wrong; the presentation was awful, and it tasted gross.

Olga

Google
An absolute HEALTH HAZARD and a huge disappointment. Yesterday, while I was enjoying some crepes, I ended up finding a piece of metal in one of them. I’m attaching a photo—you can see it on the right. This shows a complete disregard for food safety and proper cooking procedures.

Google
Great creperie, and they have great coffee and hot chocolate, we tried the waffles with Nutella, and they are pretty good. Salad crepes have a really good taste, a big selection of toppings to choose from, they sell beer and more things, great place to go relax and have a conversation with friends and family.

Yelp
always a fav! Delicious and delightful Servers are so sweet just like the creeps!! Tables and seating is beautiful and shiny clean

Yelp
A cute Parisian themed creperie/cafe with order-at-counter service. They have several options for savory and sweet crepes, so looks like a decent brunch spot. We came in for some afternoon beverages, and we tried the Iced Mayan Chocolate with whipped cream and the hot green tea latte. The iced mayan chocolate is mostly a chocolate and milk beverage, which tasted decent, but didn't really have a major unique flavor or components to it. The add-on whipped cream was unfortunately not fresh/real whipped cream. The green tea latte, which I recognize is generally a somewhat of a sweeter drink, was just so unbearably sweet. It might have been at least 2-3 times sweeter than the chocolate drink, and it was difficult to finish. The crepes that other people had ordered looked decent and the ambiance in Highland Village was nice, so I might consider trying their food, but unfortunately not a fan of their drink options.

Yelp
It's good. But I wouldn't go unless there was some special offered. $20 for a plain Nutella crepe with strawberries and ice cream. I'll go broke

Marissa I.

Yelp
Amazing crepes wow! I had a Houstonian crepe and a Cookie butter crepe. The Houstonian was delicious the slight sweetness of the crepe with the sausage, egg and potatoes with cheese inside really works so well! The Cookie butter crepe has a great balanced sweetness with the strawberries and white chocolate chips. The crepes were also perfectly cooked and golden, soft with a little bit of a crisp: our food came out fast and the workers were so nice and welcoming! Can't wait to go back : )

Yelp
Best crepes ever. I always make time to stop by this place. Friendly staff and so nice place to hang out with family and friends.

Michelle V.

Yelp
Located right in highland village, short walk from all the shopping experience. I would have to say parking was a bit hard to find. Very limited . Love the ambiance, very up scale and chic ! Spacious seating from indoor to outdoor scenery. Self service drinks and utensils. I got three kind of crepes . From their limited flavor now crème brûlée, lemon and sugar , and caramel. My favor was the their crème brûlée . It's not too sweet but filled with berries. Not a fan lemon and sugar because whoever made that one made it too sour. The sugar was no where to be found. Definitely could add the juice on the side for adjustment.

Yelp
Today was free Nutella crepe day, in honor of World Chocolate Day, at Sweet Paris so after a 2 mile walk, my friend suggested we stop by. He had the text with the information about the freebie, and he copied it to me. Apparently, that didn't suffice for them as it had to be the actual text from their automated number for me to get it. Yes, I understand but come on, is it really that serious when it's already a FREE item. Sigh. Anyways, he ended up getting his for free and paying for mine. The crepe was delicious and I loved the ambiance in there, despite how cold it was. There is also patio seating out front which we opted to do instead. The service was also good as the staff was really nice. Certainly plan on stopping by here more often as it's on our walking route.

Yelp
Alright, Joe, this is definitely the place to be if you're looking. For exemplary customer service. Delicious French inspired foods. The ATMOSPHERE is out of this world. They greet you like family the moment you come in the door. I mean, every last person you encounter. This place makes you feel so welcomed and I promise you one visit will not be enough. Once you go here, you will be returning. And over and over again , even if you're just stopping in for a cup of coffee and a crepe. The energy in this place is so magnetic.I promise you this will be one I will frequent on the regular. The prices are right and I don't know.I just can't say enough about this place. You're just gonna have to check it out for yourself if you're in the houston area do not miss out! 800 stars my friends.

Michael B.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to this Sweet Paris Cafe location for years. The food is incredibly authentic and consistently top notch. The ambience is upbeat, relaxing, maintained to extremely clean standards and the entire restaurant is well decorated throughout. The service team is very knowledgeable, attentive and welcoming. Couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy a meal with those we care about most. Thank you Agustin for always working hard with your team to keep this restaurant a great place to spend time and enjoy an incredible meal.

Vincent C.

Yelp
TL;DR - solid crepes served in a fancy interior located at a busy shopping area. A bit pricey but the portion is quite large and I'd still come back if I wanted crepes. Food - the crepes are very solid and filled with fresh ingredients, and the salad was light and refreshing with an acidic vinaigrette. The soup wasn't too heavy and much of the thickness came from the finely puréed potato instead a bunch of butter and cream, and I enjoyed the flavor and texture of it. Service - nice and friendly. Ambiance - I love the super upscale interior with the plush booth seats and crystal chandeliers. It's pretty clean inside as well!

Roma B.

Yelp
Have been to Sweet Paris in Dallas and College Station so was excited to try out this location! Was too hungry so got the pepperoni pizza kids meal. Portion size was huge for a kids portion. Loved the side salad too! Service is quick and it's a good location. My friends got the berry and tiramisu crepes and they loved theirs as well!

Helene S.

Yelp
Sweet or savory? You decide. Nice place to have a crepe or two. Located off Westheimer, parking can be a challenge, but there are plenty of tables or booths both inside or on the patio. The crepes are delicious. Not as good as Paris, but still a great choice in Houston. Our favorites include the classic Nutella, the dulce de leche and the Alaskan. The Alaska is filled with smoked salmon, pickled red onions, capers and dill sour cream. The perfect savory choice for breakfast or brunch. How can you go wrong with Nutella or dulce de leche? Add some fresh strawberries or bananas. Add a little sweetness to your day with their Sweet Passport program. Get the inside scoop on specials, enjoy a discount on your birthday and get texts for free crepes on special holidays.

Yelp
Very hip, airy and bright place! Customer service is great. I ordered a Nutella crêpe and it was big and delicious. Friends ordered a mimosa carafe and shared it with me. This makes a great place to come on a date or with friends. While parking is limited, because this is Highland Village territory, you can park across the street.

Stacy L.

Yelp
First time dining here. Very cute restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. You order at the counter before you seat yourself so I would recommend browsing the menu before getting in line. They offer a variety of sweet & savory crepes to choose from. I had the chicken florentine & a delicious frozen mimosa. The order was delivered to the table very quickly. The crepe was delicious! Parking is very limited at the location and that is my only complaint. For that reason alone, I will probably seek out another location where parking is more accessible.

Tiziana A.

Yelp
Lovely ambiance. I was in a hurry but I took the risk of ordering to eat there. The best! I finished on time. The service was fast. Very helpful workers. I will return.

Tonisha B.

Yelp
So many menu options I couldn't pick! I asked the cashier her favorite and she recommended the Philly cheesesteak so that what I got. It was so good and flavorful! The waffle was good too. I'm not a syrup person so the powdered sugar and whipped cream was enough for me. I'm not a fan of hard waffles but this one was the perfect combination of fluff and crunch. The general manager was very attentive and aware of everything we needed as far as service and the decor was so cute!

MC F.

Yelp
Lovely spot in River Oaks. Decor is elegant and fresh, awash with natural light and enhanced with beautiful light fixtures. The spacious dining room offers comfortable booth seating and a few bistro tables. An outdoor seating area will be a nice option when the unsightly construction site across is completed. I ordered a Green Tea Latte and the Cobb Salad with chicken. Both were excellent. The salad was generous, gorgeous, and delicious. The vegetables were colorful and very fresh, the bacon was of good quality, and the chicken was nicely charred. Every member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and warm, which made for a truly wonderful experience. It's located just 7 minutes from me, so I will definitely be back to try a panini or a crepe :)

Justin T.

Yelp
So we decided to come check out Sweet Paris as my dining companion had never had a crepe. I have had Sweet Paris when they first opened up in Rice Village. This location was easy to find but parking can be a little tricky as they have construction going on in the surrounding areas. We came after the lunch rush and finding a table was no issue at all. Customer service was outstanding from start to finish. We were lucky enough to deal with the GM who's name starts with an M, but I can't for the life of me remember the rest. She was so helpful and friendly and I basically let her order for me. Our iced coffees came first and we just had to take some snaps of the cute little drinks. We got an Iced Nutella Latte and and Iced Mocha. Both were good but very similarly flavored. Our food came out shortly after. I went with the Bonne Maman which was essentially a medley of berries with sweet cream. It was delicious but slightly too sweet for me. She got the Berry Agave which was a vegan option. Nothing against vegan options, but this was slightly dry compared to my perfect crepe. She liked it but did make the same observation. It wasn't overly sweet either. We got lost in conversation but the staff never rushed us and asked if we needed anything while cleaning up. I will definitely be back for more of their tasty creations as well their excellent customer service!

Marci A.

Yelp
Three stars because the staff is kind and the crepes are delicious. The space is gorgeous with lots of lights and tables everywhere so it's a nice place to meet up with a friend and chat. We enjoyed our time there but the drinks weren't the best. The mimosa gave me terrible heartburn and the chocolate my friend had was okay. The crepe was the star of the show, maybe next time I'll get a crepe and a coffee.

Maddie K.

Yelp
This place is absolutely magnificent. The food and the service are the best in Houston. Augustin and Sandra really raised the bar and set outstanding records for great service. The coffee and the food quality are outstanding. We go there at least once a week and the consistency is unbelievable.

O K.

Yelp
The best crepe in the area! The service is fast and generous. The decoration Feels like Paris in the middle of Texas :)

vickyyy g.

Yelp
LOVE IT HEREEEE !! would never eat crepes somewhere else if it isnt here , would 100% recommend this place, clean, friendly employees, wonderful service.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Always welcoming and every crepe I've tried is divine. They are quick with orders and the area is always tidy!

Trevor B.

Yelp
Ooo this place always hits the spot. Whether you are in the mood for something sweet or savory, this place does not disappoint. I guarantee even if you have to wait a few minutes in line you will walk away with a smile on your face and a full belly. I personally recommend the Le Canadienne for the breakfast lovers and if you are in the mood for a sweet surprise; try a Nutella crepe with banana and strawberry with a side of ice cream to drizzle on as you dine on heavenly tastes.

Laurie G.

Yelp
Love the food, but.... Ordered a crepe to go and got back to car only to find, NO napkin, or plastic utensils.. or syrup. Planned to eat in car because my coffee was in it and didn't want to pay $4.75 for a coffee. So, I guess maybe the utensils were there, in the restaurant, but maybe your server should ask if you need these things? Never assume.

Chikako S.

Yelp
Highly recommend this beautiful yummy crape restaurant! Both savory and sweet crapes were all very tasty and fresh! Friendly staff, easy to order and cute bright decor gives you a wonderful time!

Lysett T.

Yelp
Great friendly service. Although it took a little longer than I expected, the rest of the crepes was delicious! Restaurant looked very nice but small for my taste.

Donnie R.

Yelp
Sweet Paris is the place to go in Houston for sweet or savory crepes. I'm excited to see they have expanded into waffles. They typically have a clean restaurant and facilities. Good atmosphere and French decor, and music makes it enjoyable. Unfortunately, the highland village location parking is some of the worst you will experience in their chain of local locations. Another unfortunate limitation is no Wi-Fi. So no matter how much you want to share the restaurant with a client, don't hold meetings there with no Wi-Fi. Due to parking and Wi-Fi removed 2 stars.

Arya N.

Yelp
I always enjoy my experience at Sweet Paris. The space is clean, well-lit and just looks trendy in general. I always get the waffles with strawberries and bananas. It is always plated nicely, and the dish itself has the appropriate amount of sweetness. However I do wish the waffles were larger! I hope in the future they can consider offering a larger variety of waffles. I haven't tried the crepes before, but definitely want to in the future.

Antonia F.

Yelp
Recently while visiting a friend, I stopped in here to grab some brunch. I originally tried ordering an omelette. However, they stop serving them at 3 pm, and I arrived around 2:50. I felt they still should've been able to make it, but they said they couldn't. I decided to go with The Vegan, from the Savory Crepe section of the menu, as well as the St. Tropez from the French Riveria Cocktail section. After ordering, I was given a number and was able to choose my seat. I chose a small bistro table in the corner, where I had a good view of the entire space. Both the crepe and drink were great. The place was clean, my food arrived quickly, and the employees were friendly. I love the space and could see myself stopping in often if I lived in the Houston area. I wish they offered nutritional facts on the website, but other than this, I loved it.

Kim K.

Yelp
Mayan hot chocolate is perfect on any day. It is so tasty! I had a le Californian... not so bad, but I'm more of a sweet crepe type of girl. The aesthetics of this place is definitely chic, super cute. Nice brunch spot or just to sit around and have a cup off coffee.

SJ K.

Yelp
Really cute spot with a large selection of both tasty savory and sweet crepes! Definitely recommend for a morning breakfast or brunch. Parking is limited

Chelle N.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe with great selection of sweet and savory crepes. For savory I like the Alfredo crepe For sweet I like the strawberries, banana, Nutella, and whipped cream! Their peach lemonade is tasty and not super sweet!

Shaili B.

Yelp
Let me start this review by saying I love crepes! I've been to sweet Paris multiple times. We came to sweet Paris around 4pm on a Saturday and it was pleasantly empty. I ordered the cookie butter crepe- I wanted something new than what I normally order. It was good! The server forgot to give us utensils but wasn't. A big deal- we went inside to pick them up. The outside area is a decent size too. But I do think Cocos Crepes has more variety than sweet Paris. Just because of that i would probably do cocos crepes- something to keep in mind but still good!!

Nena I.

Yelp
Perfect neighborhood destination! The Chicken Florentine Crepe is the absolute best. The staff is fantastic and what better than a nice neighbor patio. The spiced chai latte is a must try.

Pink C.

Yelp
The place is super cozy and cute. Staff is friendly, the food was also good. 8/10 spot

S.F A.

Yelp
I ducked in out of the rain for a late breakfast, and received above standard service. The General Manager, Marlen was enthusiastically interacting with guest, taking pictures of guests, cleaning tables, etc. The restroom was clean. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. This was my first time in and will be returning with my husband soon.

Trinity W.

Yelp
Nice area, cute restaurant, wonderful staff, and delicious food. I have no complaints honestly as I come here often and am never disappointed. The Canadian with a caramel cappuccino is my go to.

Debbie O.

Yelp
Cleanliness: 5 Quality: 5 Service: 5 Taste: 5 It's been well over two years since I dined at the Rice village location and I actually had no idea there was a second location in highland village until the Taste of the District event a few months ago. I stopped ended up coming here with a friend for dessert on Black Friday. I got the cookies n cream crepes and she went for the lemon and sugar. While eating I kept thinking "how come I haven't been here in so long. This is so good!" That is when I remembered I had a coupon for a free crepe that I got at the Taste of District event. I went home that night and dug up that coupon because I wanted more crepes! Found it and was back for more Sunday lol. So delicious! I also love this space here! It's not as crowded as it gets over in rice village plus there's free parking! I'm obviously not going another 2 years until my next crepe.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Food and service was good. This place is just a bit pricey. It cost $17 for the beverage and the crepe. The cream cheese icing inside the oreo crepe was also a little bit overpowering, so I won't order that flavor again. My only other complaint is the lack of parking spaces. The parking lot is so tiny. You'll be lucky if there's a space available. I hate the area because you really have to hunt down a place you'd be allowed to park. I had to park a few blocks down and walk in the killer heat. I did enjoy the iced chocolate drink though.

McKena S.

Yelp
I hate to say it but I just think of the word cringe when I think of this place LOL. Trying to replicate Paris in Texas is just funny to me. I know a lot of places do this but I REALLY wanted a crepe and this place was highly rated. You can tell this place used low quality ingredients with a high end facade of decor inside. The coffee I ordered was just some basic roast you'd find at a hotel breakfast that are in carafes by the condiments you have to fill up yourself. It tasted super burnt even with a ton of creamer. Maybe try to find a local roaster and have people refill your cup? There are people walking around bussing tables so why not have one of them refill your drinks and coffee. The crepe wasn't the best I've had. It was the nutella crepe but they should probably rename it to a fruit crepe or something. The nutella was scant but it was stuffed with strawberries and bananas. The actual crepe was kind of tough like it was a bit overcooked. You needed a knife to cut through it and a butter knife was almost not enough. The presentation was pretty but I'd rather have a taste crepe than a pretty one. The place is pretty pricey as well. Overall, wouldn't recommend whatsoever. I'm sure other places do crepes way better. I think people are drawn in by the beautiful decor but I saw right through it.

Chandler H.

Yelp
I had the croche madame with a lavender mimosa. Apparently it's $3.50 mimosas on Tuesdays!!! Drink up Queens! My Shazam was busy in here yall! Love the French music. The crepe was a little over done, however the flavor on the gravy was delicious! I was going to get the Alaskan and the cashier told me the chef recommends the croche madame. My guilty favorite is their lavender mimosa so far! That's different in Houston and the pour portion was spot on! Us Houstonians know we want a dash of flavor, keep that glass clear with Champaign hehe! All in all, I would recommend and can't wait to come back. prendre plaisir k

Candi R.

Yelp
Ate at this location for breakfast. I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Creme Bruleè Waffle and the sloppy way the prepare it here is nothing like the other locations. The one in the sugar land town square makes it look all culinary and it tastes waaaay better. When I showed him a picture of how they made it in the Sugar Land Town Square, he gone tell me, "they are making it wrong " Well then guess what? Y'all need to start making like them cause y'all's taste wrong . If you look at my review on the one in the town square that waffle looks like angels in heaven made it with love lol.

Charles J.

Yelp
So far so good. It's been an interesting time in Houston. Daughter wanted crepes so here we are. Eating lunch/breakfast. Milkshake is pretty good. Waiting on my crepes as I type. Wow. That was delicious as well. Should have ordered two , my daughter says. Lol.

Emy A.

Yelp
This little cafe has become my favorite crepe place. I brought a friend and he enjoyed it too. The crepe is perfect and he said their coffee is delicious. The crepes are light. We ordered the philly steak, caprese, and Nutella with bananas and strawberries. Everything was divine. I came back with more friends and we ordered other items like the jambon fromage panini, Florentine, lemon meringue crepe, Mediterranean. We also like their clean and simple decor. They use actual silverware and large napkins.

J.D. J.

Yelp
A last-minute choice for us, as we happened to notice it as we were driving by and there's always time for crepes. They also had plenty of outdoor seating, which is a must for us. The crepes were all very good. We liked the Apple Cinnamon Creme Brulee and Bonne Maman crepes. My wife has been obsessed with lemon and sugar crepes since she got one on the streets of Paris and this is the closest she has found outside of France. The Nutella Hot Chocolate tasted like a cup of melted Nutella. Mmmmm. The only advice I would give is to turn down the fruit filling option for your crepes. The bananas and strawberries they fill them with are very fresh and they are incredibly generous while doling it out, but there ends up being so much fruit inside that you can't taste the filling you ordered.

Zaid N.

Yelp
Came here one cold Thursday evening and ordered the Nutella waffles and the Oreos and cream crepe. Both were overwhelmingly delicious. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back to try their savory crepes!

Tracy D.

Yelp
Easy to find but hard to park, so you have to park at the lot one sweet down because you can't park in the neighborhood. Chai latte (3/5) - doesn't have much chai taste Creme brulee crepe (3/5) - taste more apple cinnamon Le California (4/5) Overall, very relaxing atmosphere and nice staffs and gorgeous interior. The food is already, but for everything else i'll come back.

Chelsea N.

Yelp
Came here for the 12 days of Christmas event to get a free Nutella latte! I was kind of disappointed since the latte taste like regular hot chocolate and didn't look like the advertisement on their Instagram page. But hey, it was free. I also got the chicken carbonara crepe. Pretty heavy on the bacon, but was overall delicious! My friend got the s'mores crepe. If you don't have a huge sweet tooth, this would probably be too much for you or something you would want to share with at least 1 other person. This location is super cute and I prefer it over the rice village location. Parking is easier and there is plenty of seating!
