"Debuting as the chain’s sixth location, I found the Highland Village outpost at 2701 Drexel Drive—apparently the only breakfast spot in that shopping center—features the same contemporary interiors with ivory tufted banquettes, light-colored wood, bronzed metals, and mirrored accent walls, plus a patio. The menu offers sweet crepes in flavors like Nutella, dulce de leche, smores, and apple cinnamon creme brulee, savory options such as chicken alfredo, ham & gruyere, and breakfast varieties stuffed with scrambled eggs and a bevy of other ingredients, and also includes waffles, salads, panini, milkshakes, espresso drinks, hot chocolate, and alcoholic beverages; this Highland Village location is the first to offer wine pairings. Launched in 2012 by world-traveling couple Allison and Ivan Chavez to bring international street food to Houston, Sweet Paris started in Rice Village and has expanded to Vallarta (Mexico), CityCentre, Katy, and College Station, with plans for The Woodlands, Baybrook, and San Antonio. It is currently open Sunday–Thursday 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m." - Alaena Hostetter
