The perfect "Ice Cream Date" vibe. Friendly local atmosphere. The staff was extremely nice, happy to see us and willing to assist! They were playing some cool grooves tunes that kept it fun, and the line was moving fast. Perfect for kids and a date night. They make custom shakes also. A+ definitely swing by this joint!

Brownie swirl & Ube ice cream were good, I tried the roasted marshmallow and it was absolutely delicious, the sugar crystallized like a crème brûlée. The waffle cups were very dry, crunchy, and not that sweet, I would just do a cup or a regular cone next time, a waste of $1.75. The guy at the counter was pretty rude, he wasn’t nice. He wasn’t welcoming and he wasn’t having fun with his job. Ice cream was good…

All I can say is YUMMY 😋! Ice cream is a smooth, silky texture. Flavors were all great as you can give them a taste test to make sure you will love the flavor. Service was greatvat this little cute ice local cream shop in my neighborhood. There is so much to choose from. I will be back to try more, especially those 🍪. You gotta try it. Price point is the normal homemade 🍦 shop.

My favorite little ice cream place that I hit up whenever I visit home. Got the delicious toffee banoffee this time around, but I also love their other ice cream flavors and milkshakes. They have vegan flavors too!

This place knows how to do ice cream right! I had the creme brulee and it was an absolute dream—rich, creamy, and indulgent without being overly sweet. You can taste the quality in every bite. The vibe is cozy and laid-back, and the staff are friendly and happy to let you sample before committing.

Sorry but today was a little off and I didn't want to complain but I'm pretty sure that the nuts where left off my sundae. I was here last night and I came back today. Butter pecan was good, it had that classic flavor with a touch of saltiness. The milk and cookies was bomb! My daughter had the mint which was really good and something else but can't remember what it was. We also got a homemade toasted marshmallow on the side which I highly recommend doing! I tried a couple sorbets/Gelato and was impressed with the flavors but was in more of an ice cream mood. We did take a bag of homemade marshmallows home which I'm glad we did! I would recommend if your already going to get 2 scoops spend the extra buck and get that 3rd scoop, you won't regret it! Overall, the service was great and the ice cream that we ordered was the same. I highly recommend a visit

Dear lord, can ice cream taste just like the name they put on the label? The mango sticky rice tasted just like so. So did the Thai ice tea. It's like the jelly bellies of ice cream. Small place, which gets packed, so grab a table early if you can. My advice would be to try the limited flavors they have. I had the Dubai chocolate, just a single scoop. Perfection.

The corner of 16th and Bethany Home might be the best in Phoenix between Hobe Meats and Sweet Republic! Sweet Republic serves some amazing ice cream that is delicious and the perfect consistency. As a calorie counter, I want my cheat food to be worth it, and this is definitely that! The waffle cones are perfect and taste like a pitzel, the burnt marshmallow is a nice touch, and the whip cream is light and tasty. I also really like their toffee and almond ice creams!

A good variety to pick from. I love seeing the new flavors they have out. The gals are always quick to help. Nice little hangout spot for small dates or catch-ups.

Decided to stop by last minute as it was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. I tried the brown butter pecan and it was simply perfect. Service was quick and friendly even though they were closing down for the night which was appreciated. Ambiance was laid back but they did have seating for you to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. Will definitely be back!

A clean and simple lovely spot. I find no extraordinary thing but a conglomerate of loads of hard work that all comes together to make a worthy spot that I will definitely revisit. The flavors were lovely and the staff were there with no griping. Return I will!

love the blue moon flavor, tastes like lemon plus fruit loops and fruity pebbles. also liked the dubai chocolate, thai tea, and mango sticky rice. the workers here were very friendly and let me sample a bunch of flavors. clean and cold place, great for a little break.

This is my favorite ice cream shop in Phoenix!! Their ice cream is the perfect creamy consistency and they have a great selection of flavors. The service is always friendly and they gave me samples of two seasonal flavors I wanted to try. I ended up going with a scoop of the mango sticky rice and it was so yummy. I also really like their ice cream sandwiches or just getting a cookie to go with my ice cream. There's a few tables to sit at inside the shop and outside the shop. There's a decent sized parking lot. I will most definitely be back in the future for more ice cream!

I love Sweet Republic's seasonal flavors, and I think they're even better than their normal offerings! Recently, I've enjoyed their mango sticky rice and matcha flavors. Note that you can pick up pints of your favorite flavors, as it is more cost effective than buying scoops!

My mom was dying for good, hand scooped, ice cream and after seeing the reviews decided she wanted to try out Sweet Republic. This little shop is brightly lit, clean, and is painted fun and happy colors inside. Despite being crowded we were helped quickly by staff who were fast and efficient and got their line down quickly. Our ice cream was fantastic and flavorful and my mom loved loved loved her turtle sundae. Best ice cream spot we've tried so far. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious ice cream and unique variety of flavors . The inside is small but they do have seating . Definitely recommend the huckleberry swirl and BLUE MOON ! I wouldn't get almond butter crunch again . It was more soggy than crunchy :) service was fast and kind . Plenty of parking and open late !

We wanted some ice cream before heading to the airport and found this gem about 10-12 mins away. I got one of the sundaes with vanilla bean, banana, almond toffee and caramel in a waffle bowl. It was really good! I wish I could visit to get this more often! Definitely hit the spot, highly recommend! Place has a walk up window and is a simple ice cream shop. Service was quick and easy! *I saw that Alton Brown from the Food Network rated this sundae as his best ice cream concoction.

I love trying new ice cream spots and it's always a hit when they are good. I got the crème brûlée and the salted caramel swirl. Both ice creams were a good combination together. Sweet republic has so many different flavors for everyone, some were certainly strange. Overall, I enjoyed my ice cream and will be back.

Sweet Republic is one of my favorite ice cream spots in the Valley. Their offerings are consistently flavorful, fresh, and of the highest quality. The last time I visited, I had the brown butter pecan, and it was a hit--creamy and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like proper ice cream should be. I also love their rotating selection of unique flavors; there's always something new to try. The toffee banofi sundae is excellent as well! Beyond the ice cream, the service and interior are on-point. I'll continue to stop by when I'm in the area and highly recommend it.

Visiting from Las Vegas and...Omgoodness for sure! This ice cream was so delicious and the waffle cone was delicate! I will be coming back again! Not just delicious ice cream but it's a cute little shop with complimentary cups of water!

We've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience! They always have new flavors to try and keep our favorites like butter pecan on hand. The bonoffe sundae only available weekends is particularly amazing! We love supporting local and hope to keep Sweet Republic in the neighborhood for years to come!

We already knew Sweet Republic was amazing, so I'm leaving a review solely for the Mango Sticky Rice flavor which is INCREDIBLE. I'm usually doubtful of flavors like this because a lot of places can't get it right, but this one tasted like the real thing! And it was dairy-free too, so you lactose intolerant ice cream lovers can enjoy without worry. Matcha and banana sesame flavors were also delish. Go support this Asian women-owned business, and congrats on opening up a new location in Old Town Scottsdale!

Love the variety of flavors here! Some I've never even heard of. Almond Buttercrunch is to die for. Service is always quick and we tend to take it to go because seating is limited to a couple tables.

They've got a vast selection of flavors, spanning from classic favorite flavors to flavors that you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else in the state! They really have something for everyone's taste buds, as their ice cream flavors range between being not too sweet to tooth achingly sweet. The two flavors I always find myself going back to are their classic, salted caramel swirl and the crème brulee in a waffle bowl. Service is always fast and friendly whenever I visit. The quality of their ice cream stays consistent and shines through, always creamy and fresh. The portion sizes are well worth the price, you won't be disappointed!

Terrible staff. Extremely rude young guy with tattoos said I couldn't bring in my puppy in who was in my arms ( a 4 month frenchie) during last 10 minutes before close. There were no signs!! The girls behind the counter have no people skills and STARE at you awkwardly while you're trying to order. Ice-cream is mediocre. Don't waste your time here

I ordered the crème brûlée and almond butter crunch, two scoops for $7.50, not terrible not great. The ice cream was pretty decent, I expected it to be a little smoother but the flavors are unique and I liked the almond crunch texture. The staff was friendly, small place but colorful vibes. Good gluten free selection too!

There were so many options. The ice cream was so smooth and delicious. The quality of the ingredients and toppings were very high.

Our first time trying this place- I've driven by so many times and never noticed it! It's not hidden but nicely tucked into a small plaza. They let you taste test as many as you'd like. I tried the dark chocolate sorbet and the blue moon, and decided on the dark chocolate and the mint chip. I wished I had tried the mint in advance- the mint flavor wasn't strong at all. It was creamy but the taste wasn't my favorite. The dark chocolate sorbet was delicious! It tasted like it had little ice chips in it- yum! I will definitely get the blue moon next time- and maybe test a few more of the interesting flavors! The staff was really friendly and eager to help! Two scoops was around $6 bucks (and change), and it seemed like a very popular place with several folks coming in as we exited (and a number of people already inside!). Took mine to go but imagine it may be hard to find seating normally.

Quite possibly the best single scoop of ice cream I have had. I came in December, and was pleased to see they have several holiday flavors available. They still had fall flavors available as well (s/o pumpkin spice). I ordered a gingerbread single scoop. Very small and super delicious. Should have ordered a second scoop.

Dessert: I ordered one scoop of Strawberry Sherbet ice cream along with one Pecan Turtle and one Toffee Banofi. Service: Dine in order, Service was great and Dessert was prepared correctly and under 5 minutes, service was fast and this ice cream is smooth and taste fresh. This location is very clean and will now be A new regular for us. Dessert for 4 cost us $21.

First thing is that the staff is very friendly although the building is fairly small but it looks really cool on the inside. This ice cream was really good. I got the strawberry buttermilk and the cookies and cream. Definitely worth a try especially if you're sick of the chain ice cream places.

Stopped by on a Saturday. My son's favorite place- he said it wouldn't disappoint, he was right! It was busy, people mingling outside, inside not many people. It was clean, employees all welcomed us as we entered. We were offered samples and customer service was excellent. I decided on the Gooey butter cake & Crème Brûlée, my son had the Blue Moon & Honey Lavender. It was all so good. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, with great flavor. Best I've cream I've ever had honestly. Great vibe, excellent employees, price is good. Will definitely be back.

Today sweet republic had free scoops for their 15 year anniversary of being open! I've been to the Scottsdale location a few times as I used to live over there but I don't think I had visited this one until today! I tried a dill pickle sorbet which was super interesting. I ended up getting a scoop with honey and dark chocolate flakes with sprinkles on top. It was creamy and flavorful, super tasty! The people working here were awesome too. Usually when there's an event like this I feel like places to plan for there to be a crowd but things went super smoothly and they all worked really efficiently together! The shop is super cute and clean. Would come again!

Was in the area with the family and they wanted ice cream so off to Sweet Republic we went. Sweet Republic is one of my favorite ice cream shops in the valley, you can't go wrong when there with the many flavors to pick! After checking out the menu I knew I had to try the salted caramel swirl, which was vanilla with salted caramel through out, I had a small scoop and drizzled some caramel on it and topped with sprinkles and this was a very yummy, sweet treat! Next time you are wanting to try some ice cream, head on over to Sweet Republic.

What a great way to end dinner on a sweet note! This local ice cream shop has a variety of unique flavors with your standard ice cream options. Service was friendly the moment I walked in and were so nice to give samples as I couldn't decide what I wanted to get a scoop of. They had banana pudding during my visit so I had to get it and it was a good balance of sweet and creamy. Will come back to try other flavors next time I visit!

This place is so homey, local, friendly, and creameeeey. This is the only place I've found so far in the valley that serves up ice cream flavors reminiscent of what I had in Pittsburgh, PA. Of course, flavors rotate, come n' go. Makes it all the more urgent to indulge in a flavor you are particularly enamored with. I've had the pleasure of sampling and enjoying so many amazing concoctions throughout the last few years. Pros: 1) Plenty of parking available 2) vegan options 3) creative/unique flavors 4) local 5) friendly service 6) offers online ordering 7) constantly offering up new flavors Cons: None? xD Come give this place a try. I personally prefer this place over another local fave, Churn. Btw, if you end up a fan, do yourself a favor and sign up for their newsletter so you're informed of all of their new flavors and specials.

Stunning array of unusual flavors, like black licorice. Palate pleasing flavors like salted caramel. I was craving a malt and didn't really expect anyone to be able to make one, let alone on a holiday, but Sweet Republic delivered and delivered with a smile. They were extremely generous with the malt powder and charged the same as the regular shake. Parking lot provides plenty of parking and right out front if you're lucky. What a wonderful shop. I should've stepped in ages ago. Happy New Year!

I loved sweet republic! Their ice creams are super unique. Even though some of them I didn't particularly liked, I know others might enjoy. The service was standard and the prices were good! For two scoops (I got the strawberry buttermilk and Meyer lemon) it was about $7. There is seating inside and a little table outside if you want to sit to enjoy your sweet treat. You can also try the ice creams which was nice.

I'm a sorbet guy--being lactose-intolerant. The best sorbet I've ever had was in Italy at the gelaterias. Sweet Republic's strawberry sorbet is just as good! My family eats all of the other flavors with rave reviews. But, for me, I'm taken back to Tuscany every time. (They also have unusual flavors that always tempt me until I recall the consequences.)

Sweet Republic has MANY great flavors - fun, classic, funky - all that I've tried are really full of the flavor it represents which is GREAT! No fake-tasting flavorings here! Not to mention the texture is SO creamy! They also let you try many flavors - which is impossible NOT to do because there are way too many great sounding options! :) This trip I got: 1. Creme Brulee - in ice cream form, just as good as the real thing! YUM 2. Dill Pickle - THIS is a MUST try if you like pickles, it was surprisingly really good! 3. Black Pepper Cherry - I LOVED this so much, the pepper is very subtle and hits at the end of each bite, it was a tasty unexpected combo! 4. Blue Moon - I get this EVERYTIME because its so special! It's creamy, vanilla-y, fruity-pebbly, just so-freaking-yummmmmmmy! Sweet Republic is hands down my favorite ice cream place in/around Phoenix!

This is a cute ice cream shop. Convenient parking. I went there for the vegan ice cream and they did not disappoint. When I visited they had 4 vegan flavors of sorbet - chocolate, coconut, strawberry and mango. I got a double scoop of coconut and chocolate. They also offer free sprinkles. It was delicious! I hope they continue to expand their vegan line to include more ice cream and toppings for vegans.

So now that I've been here longer, I am a Sweet Republic apologetic. Looking back at my previous review I have seen the error of my ways. Honestly, Sweet Republic and Churn are two great quality ice cream shop, and I really choose the shop that has the most interesting flavors that month. Either way, I know Sweet Republic flavors will be right on the money with whatever the flavor is supposed to be. Rose water, def tastes like rose. Lavender, definitely all lavender. I will say at this point I do find myself going to sweet republic a little more often as they have a greater number of rotating flavors. But Churn does have consistently better cookies that are much softer. But if there's a flavor that sounds good. Get go get it. You won't be disappointed.

Sweet Republic offers high quality ice creams, fruit sorbets and more made with ingredients that are sourced locally. Many of the flavors offered are unique. Today I tried sweet corn made from local corn and cane sugar. It was delicious and very velvety smooth and accented with kernels of sweet corn. My husband loved the brownie swirl. I tasted a spoonful and it was made with a real delicious brownie pieces. We were served quickly and everything looked sparkling clean. Sweet Republic Ice Cream is a GREAT Ice Cream Shop.

On point. Friendly staff, great descriptions. Ice cream is so smooth and takes your taste buds on a journey. Nice to sit there and indulge on your perfect scoops in a waffle cone in peace. Cute shop.
