"Sweet Rose Creamery is shutting down its Beverly Boulevard location for the upcoming colder seasons. The restaurant announced the break on social media, citing increasing labor and operating costs as the reason for closure during the slower months. They plan to either reopen in the spring or early summer, or potentially introduce a new concept in the space." - Farley Elliott

Great place for ice cream. They had a great selection of flavors and everything was great. The staff was also very friendly and it was pretty quick and reasonably priced. I got a milkshake which was awesome. It was made with whole milk and any ice cream you choose with chocolate syrup. My son had a root beer float which he loved and we also had salted caramel, mint chocolate chip and coffee which was made with real coffee and each scoop had half as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. I'd definitely recommend.

I LOVE Sweet Rose for their dairy free options. I always go for the dark chocolate. They use a water base rather than any milk substitute, so you don't have to worry if you're Paleo-ish or have nut allergies. They are on the slightly more expensive side of ice cream, but it's worth it for the excellent customer service, exciting flavors and.....dairy free!

If you look at my reviews you will see that I don't give 5 stars. This is the place. I'm done looking for ice cream that's worth the calories! I love the salted caramel and coffee ice cream on their house made waffle cones. They have quite a lot of toppings but I'm a plain Jane kind of gal. The flavor is amazing. I enjoy all their products. The lactose free ice cream is really good. The vegan cake is yummy. There something for everyone. I would and do recommend it to all who ask. I like the atmosphere. There are games for adults and kids. Good spot to hang with friends young or old. One stop happy shop!

The ice cream here is seriously to die for!! I've gone twice in the past week since discovering this place. They have such unique and creative flavors, and even the simple ones like strawberry and cookies'n'cream are delicious!! Those are my two favorites to get. The cookies n cream has the perfect texture, and doesn't taste all frozen together like most do, and the strawberry ice cream is very smooth and tasty. The prices are a bit high, but I don't mind the slightly extra amount for the deliciousness that the ice cream is here! The also provide health care coverage for their employees through a small surcharge, which I don't mind either! This is a great little ice cream shop that is very warm and welcoming inside, and with excellent ice cream. It looks like they take good care of their employees as well. It'll be a new regular spot of mine to visit for ice cream cravings!

Super good, sometimes unique, flavors that were not overbearing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seating areas were comfortable for adults and kids. Not very busy during the evening commute hours. The quality of the ice cream and waffle cone were exceptional. I had the toasted coconut and added almonds. I loved it. Pricing was a bit of a premium but I think the quality received was worth it. Two adults with their own scoops and two small children sharing a scoop reigned in a bit over $15, I would gladly pay for that quality and service again.

I was very excited to try this place since it is supposed to be one of the best ice cream places in Los Angeles. The restaurant itself is perfect sized for a dessert place with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is beyond friendly and very professional. From those aspects, this place is great. But we go to an ice cream parlor for the ice cream first and foremost. We purchased a 4 scoop flight and a cup with three scoops. We also sampled a couple other flavors. Out of all the flavors we had, our group really enjoyed 2 flavors, vanilla coconut and horcada. The other flavors we had we all too this or too that mainly because many of the flavors are so overpowering. For example, the coffee flavor is just too strong and the salted caramel is just too salty.

My new favorite ice cream! All the ingredients sold at the store or from local farms and resources. They make their own ice cream and waffle cones. They have staple flavors like vanilla, chocolate and mint as well as rotating unique flavors like butternut squash. The parking can be a bit tricky in the area since it is right behind the Grove but this place is well worth it.
