Absolutely loved Sweet Vibe in San Diego! Their drinks are so creative and delicious—especially the one with the adorable marshmallow duck. It’s such a fun touch and made the whole experience even better. I also tried their Thai tea cake and it was amazing—moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The vibes in the shop are super cute and cozy too. Can’t wait to go back and try more! Highly recommend!

I came here to treat my daughter to some strawberry cake. We ordered the strawberry mousse layer basque, pistachio cream cake, jasmine green tea, and a Uji matcha latte. Everything was great, but a few items stood out. The strawberry basque was moist, dense, not too sweet, and reminded me of cheesecake. The matcha latte tasted like high-quality matcha with high-quality milk. I also appreciated the drink packaging. Instead of the usual plastic seal you have to stab with a straw, they use a removable straw cover that you can close again. Simple but nice. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can see why this place has so many positive reviews.

The boba shop is cute with decorate and staffs are friendly. I like the Strawberry Yogurt with crystal boba drink. Cakes are delicious and super cute as well. Highly recommended and will be back!

I've been seeing this place on IG. I finally came today to try some drinks and some cakes. The cakes are so cute and look so good! We tried the bearmisu and thai tea box cake. They are good and so adorable. We also got 2 green Thai tea and avocado smoothies. They also have taiyaki with 6 different flavors. I'm definitely coming back to try those.

Visited Sweet Vibe on the way back to Orange county from an exploratory visit of SDSU. I am so happy that I stopped in. This place is seriously amazing. Not just another boba place. Sweet vibe emphasizes quality. The desserts are handmade and are completely over the top exceptional! The owners suggested specific cakes for me to bring home to my family and they did not disappoint! Every single dessert was spectacular! So many other places use inferior ingredients and taste artificial but not sweet vibe.. the green Thai tea drink and the oolong lychee were out of this world! Definitely next level when it comes to quality and freshness. If you are in the area visiting SDSU or otherwise, this is a stop worth making. You will not be disappointed! 5 stars!

Very unique desserts but also understated flavors for what the desserts are advertised as. Earl Grey Cheesecake and Uji Cream Cake did not taste like their respective flavors. Very plain flavors and could be a tad sweeter for my taste. The Oreo Cream cake tasted the best and flavor was actually true to the name of the dessert.

SO CUTE!!! Desserts are so adorable and the store has such a good vibe. Would come again :)

A lovely cute Asian Dessert and Boba store in Convoy District.. It's a bit hidden though but totally worth finding it.. So many lovely home-made cute desserts (that are not sweet) but super interesting - For instance the cloud cake with fresh foam, boba and other customized toppings !! The lava chocolate tart - So amazing too (Especially given my love for cacao based desserts ha ha). Sweet Vibe makes so many jellies in-house too (Like Rose jelly) they had for V-Day specials !! While the concept is cute and the place being clean, we were disappointed with our drinks and wait time. We ordered a mango milk smoothie with less sugar but the drink ended up being way too sweet that my daughter ended up throwing it out. We also ordered a Thai green lemon tea and my husband said it tasted like soap. I ordered a lychee lemon green tea and while it's not bad, it's not something I will order again. It's a Monday night so the place wasn't very busy. We had two girls who ordered after us but somehow their drinks came out first. There was one older gentleman working by himself and it took us 25 minutes to get all our drinks. Maybe it was an off night for them, but I don't think we will be coming back for drinks. Maybe we will try their desserts next time.

Sweet vibe is partially tucked away behind El Gordo Mexican Food. I got the large taro paste with fresh milk and taro foam. It came out looking pretty. I like natural ingredients so the taro paste is great. I wasn't too excited about the taro foam because it didn't have much of a taro flavor and when combined with the fresh milk, it seemed like the taro flavor was just being carried by the taro paste. They have other deserts in the glass casing or made to order. I heard one guest order the durian cheesecake so that would be interesting to try. There is plenty of seating and the space was pretty decent. They have a kiosk menu to order from and a cute plush claw machine station.

This place has wonderful fruit bobas! I've been to this place twice now looking to get the Mango Pomelo Slush, keep in mind i've never had that drink before and I can't get enough. We also tried the Taiyaki in nutella and oreo, both really good. The service can either be done at the cashier or their terminal to order drinks off, and considering the fruit drinks are fresh fruit it comes out quickly. As for the ambiance it's nice and simple with a good song selection, although space is a bit limited. Will definitely be back for more of the Mango Pomelo Slush!

Cute little shop in an awkward location. Limited parking out front, like most of the shops in the Convoy area. My girl has a sweet tooth and was craving taiyaki after we enjoyed ramen nearby and Yelp delivered this recommendation for a place we have yet to visit. My lady proceeded to order several cakes and three different flavors of taiyaki. The taiyaki were tiny, which is ok as long as they're yummy. Sadly these weren't. They desperately need more filling. We tried red bean, Nutella and custard. Only the Nutella was ok. How can you go wrong eating Nutella. The taste of the Earl Gray cake resembled an old cheesecake to us but the cookie on top was tasty. I guess this wasn't our type of dessert. The matcha green tea cake was packed in a cute box but that is about all h can nice about it. The Bearmisu chocolate dessert we tried was our hands down favorite. It was almost too cute to eat...almost. We devoured it like a hungry bear. Inside, They have a kiosk you can order from. The staff was friendly and there were lots of chairs. Next time we plan to visit for drinks. Cheers to the Year of the Snake!

I like this place because they offer uncustomary flavors. The grape drink used real grapes instead of concentrated flavoring. I thoroughly enjoyed my avocado/mango drink. The name Thai Black tea was confusing. It just Thai ice tea which my friend wanted but looking at the menu, one would assume that the Thai black tea would be completely different.

I really love the effort put into the drinks! I got a thai/oreo/brulee tea (iced). It honestly tasted like the name. Lol. I brought it home and put ice in it and it tasted great. My brother got a fruity drink with lychee. That one was really excellent. Next time I go, I'll get that. Ill also try the desserts. They all just look so darling! The older gentleman that made my drink, looks like he could be the owner, was very kind and informative. He explained to me that the oreo and brulee in my drink was in the cup as a glaze. That's why it looks so cool! Ill definitely be coming back. Taste is great and nice people and service.

Grape boba is very good. Flavorful and delicious. Love how you can adjust the sweetness. Service was very good. Friendly and fast Will be back for sure. Not overly sweet and prefect. Fresh

Cute little tea shop that took over Gong Cha's old spot. Parking is small but this complex is not that busy. You can order directly at the front or use the tablet/kiosk. They also have a cute little claw machine in the store. If you follow them on social media, you can get a free little figurine. It is one that they have on display everywhere around the store. Their cakes were light and fluffy! Great after meal dessert. Drinks were average but paired well with their little cakes. Staff were friendly and pretty quick at making our order.

Was excited to explore a new dessert place but didnt have time to check elites' review. Spent $43 for all. How I rate the desserts is that I buy everything that I think would taste good and be back for the rest to try. I finished the bearmisu with barely ladyfinger in it, definitely all cream. there is barely coffee taste in this. Wont recommend. Order just for the beauty of it, taste is far from tiramisu. taiyaki. I am not a big fan of mochi as a taiyaki shell. Other than the taiyaki burnt, the shell is made out of mochi powder which makes it longer to chew and gooey. Again, a no for me. Uji Matcha. Im not a fan of matcha, but the boyfriend likes it. we didnt both like taiyaki, which are btw small and burnt. Taro taste medicine and chemically, nutella taste like one. red bean is fine. Earl grey Basque is on a heavy cream side that would make you want to gag because of that heavy taste. It got the earl grey lavender taste but it is heavy on cream. It is not a light dessert. 2 stars for a new dessert place but they visually present themselves good but wont come back for the taste. Sorry.

Super cute cafe! And good drinks! There's lots of space in to study and there is free WiFi. There is a singular shared bathroom which is nice if you plan on studying here. The place is super clean and aesthetic. Service was pretty fast, there is a kiosk to order as well. Parking is pretty small but there's lot of parking on the street (dw there's a good amount of space) I got the pink lychee GT slush and it's super good and refreshing. Would recommend coming here!

The drinks are good, I had gotten the mango yogurt with crystal boba. It tasted like a very creamy mango smoothie, which I enjoy! I had also gotten the sleeping Bear ( mousse) dessert. It was very cute to look at but the flavor was mild. It tasted like the white rabbit candy. Both complemented each other. The space is small and cozy. Nice place to study at if you wanted to. Service was quick and they are friendly! This place is good!

Tried the grape tea here at night! This was yummy, and had a strong grape flavor! I could taste the tea pretty well also. My only complaint is that there was SO much ice that I felt like I was barely getting any of the drink, even though I already requested less ice. The store is spacious with plenty of seating, and the drinks were made pretty quickly! This is located in a secluded plaza, so parking is pretty easy. It's kind of out of the way, but I think it's worth a try! Drinks are kind of on the expensive side but still pretty yummy.

Super cute. Super clean. Pink everywhere. There's even a claw machine you can play while you wait. But the best thing is the dessert selection. Holy cow! They got a lot of stuff. I think I bought 1 of everything. Seriously. I'm such a sucker for pretty little desserts. But honestly, my fave, hands-down, were the puddings (taro and Nutella). I'd come back just for those. Next time, I'll try the drinks because they have a huge selection of those, too.

We got the earl gray boba burst cake and it tastes yummy. The boba is very soft. Not too sugary sweet. Definitely will come back for more sweet vibe

cute little cafe in convoy that deserves more hype!! the taromisu is delicious--the layers inside are real taro and it's not too sweet :-) they were so kind to substitute the crystal boba in my strawberry yogurt drink with mochi when i asked and it was so yummy!! my friend also really enjoyed her mango pomelo slush. we will def be back to try their other desserts and drinks

Perry was super helpful and very friendly ‍, gave recommendations to us first timers .The atmosphere was really chill and cute as well .Me and my friend absolutely loved the Pastries, 1000% recommend the succulent cake. Drinks were amazing a perfect balance, I got the earl grey cake , I love absolutely loved the cake.

I wanted to try the cute little bear for a while now and here it was not too overpriced. I also got a Valentines drink special which was a rose jasmine tea and it came with a cute cat-eared lid.

I got the Uji Matcha Foam with Mango Fresh Milk and it was great! The mango puree wasn't too much, it was just enough puree per liquid. The guy at the counter was super helpful in recommending toppings and sweetness levels for each of the drinks I considered. Would definitely come back here to try their dessert next!

Service is so friendly here. I love the innovative menu and abundant dessert choices. The Mango pomelo sago with grape crystal boba instead of regular crystal boba was an interesting combo.

Cute cafe in convoy with good sweets. They have a good selection of drinks and cakes. The taro milk tea and the pug mousse cake were great. Will be coming back.

Stopped by on a Sunday to check out Sweet Vibe. Order the Uji Matcha Foam with Jasmine GT. Got it less sweet and it was perfect. Would like to come back to order one of their fruit teas next time.

Mango Pomelo Slush Yes I have a serious addiction to this drink and find myself coming to sweet vibe for the best mango pomelo in San Diego. Don't judge me when I'm here 2-3x a week.

Recommend the mango avocado smoothie, the mango adds a refreshing sweetness and tanginess to the creaminess of the avocado. Regular sugar is not too sweet, so the brown sugar boba pairs perfectly!

Such a cute cafe with a lovely ambience to study or casually chat. The desserts and drinks are made with love and care, and the workers made sure we were satisfied with our drinks. I got the lychee oolong fruit tea which was amazing. A phenomenal find in the Convoy District.

This place is small but it's super cute and it's not busy, which I like for a dessert place. I tried their guava lemon tea and it was delicious. I also tried their passion fruit cake and their mochi coconut pudding which is my favorite. Can't wait to come again and try more of their menu :)

I had the ocean coconut drink (sweetened coconut water + foam) and my husband had the watermelon coconut (a seasonal drink). We also wanted to give their desserts a try and landed on the taromisu. The ocean drink was so pretty and even though coconut water is pretty simple, having the special foam on top made it a unique and refreshing drink. The watermelon coconut was pretty good too, with fresh bits of watermelon. The taromisu was delicious! Fluffy and creamy, and not too sweet, as all Asian desserts should aim to be. I really like to see new independently-owned cafes succeed, and I think Sweet Vibe shows promise.

The shop was decorated very cute for Valentine's Day order the oolong osmanthus tea and a Thai tea Oreo Brulée. We also ordered an order of the custard taiyaki. Tea was fresh, and the taiyaki was fluffy and crispy! Everything was great and Kaitlyn was super professional and gave us a heads up on our order wait time. Will definitely come back!! The ocean coconut was very refreshing, I added a duck for the aesthetics, but he did not survive very long for a picture. I adjusted the sugar to be less, i would recommend keeping it as is. The matcha cake was very moist and fluffy, not too sweet. I didnt eat the muddy frenchie because i got it for a friend, but it is detailed!

Super cute spot with cute desserts but I will say neither of them had any flavor at all just taste like heavy cream. Very little flavor The bear was so incredibly adorable but $10 for that and no flavor no filling my kids hated it $30 for 3 desserts made no sense

Overall, my first experience here was just "okay," but I will be coming back because I have a strong feeling that this place can deliver great drinks and excellent customer experiences with some feedback.   I have a handful of drinks in my boba rotation, but today I was in the mood for Brown Sugar Milk with Boba and Cheese Foam. I ordered my drink at 50% sweetness, but dang - it was probably the sweetest drink I have ever drank at a milk tea spot. The cheese foam was delicious, and the boba was well-done - but it was hard to appreciate them with the overwhelming sweetness. I want to believe this was a mistake in crafting the drink versus this being their standard for 50%. Unfortunately, the cup also exploded in my car when I was handling the cup. I really want to believe that I did not hold the cup in any particularly rough way, but maybe I did - I will say, though, that the drink cup breaking in my hands has never happened at any other boba shop.   The customer service was fantastic - Leyun and W helped me out the night I went. They had K-pop playing (an easy way to my heart to be completely honest), and they were personable and patient with me as I decided what I wanted to get. Their menu looks promising, and their baked and cold desserts also seem to be tasty. They have plenty of seating and table space, so I imagine this will be a good place to study. I will say it was overwhelmingly stuffy when I visited. I know that the AC is expensive, but I think it is a necessary cost in order to make customers comfortable and wanting to spend their time in the store.   I am going to give this place a 3.5, rounded down to a 3. However, I think this place can be better. It is worth stopping by if you need to try a new boba spot.

While I wouldn't return for the drinks, the house made desserts were memorable albeit pricey. The shop was quite empty so parking wasn't an issue. Even more so when the nearby Hidden Fish wasn't open. There was only one person manning the front and they didn't really interact with us. The front case was filled with different desserts. Returning their pudding jar in particular resulted in a $1 discount. =ORDERED= *Peach Oolong Milk Tea and Peach Jelly: the included topping had more flavor than the actual drink. Despite choosing less ice, the tea and peach flavoring tasted dilute. I would steep the tea stronger. *Brown Sugar Milk Tea: the boba was chewy and tasteless. The drink similarly was dilute. The boba recipe needs more sugar or caramelization. *Tiramisu: best for those who love the mascarpone component. Not too sweet but creamy and rich. Wished it was priced a little lower given that restaurant quality tiramisu is usually cheaper. *Durian Basque Cheesecake: best item that I tried. As a huge durian lover, it was incorporated well and generously. The filling went well with the burnt exterior. The portion was a bit small for $14 but it's a rare offering elsewhere. While I didn't think their boba was competitive to other locations on Convoy, their desserts were tasty and unique. This location seems to be cursed but I hope Sweet Vibe steps up their game to stay.

With several table tops and counter space there's plenty of seating areas. The desserts looked delicious but I only had enough space for a drink. You order at the counter and the drink was made shortly after. I got an Iced peach oolong tea with peach jelly. It was cold and refreshing- perfect for the warmer San Diego weather. I would come back if I'm conveniently in the convoy area.
