Fancy Salad Shop Sweetgreen Expands to South Congress in Austin - Eater Austin

"Instagrammable lunch option Sweetgreen will open an Austin outpost early next year. Located at 1007 South Congress Avenue, the fast-casual restaurant will be similar to the other Sweetgreen locations but with an emphasis on Austin-inspired design. Nic Jammet, Sweetgreen co-founder and chief concept officer, tells Eater, “We’ve been drawn to Austin for some time and South Congress feels like the perfect place to introduce ourselves. There is a real sense of community in the area and we’re looking forward to connecting with neighbors, suppliers, growers and artists.” The team is currently working on Texas-specific menu items for the new store. When asked if there are any other Sweetgreens planned for the area, Jammet says, “Right now our focus is on the South Congress restaurant, but we definitely have an eye on the future and are always listening to to our guests!” Keep an eye here for more opening details as the store comes online." - Erin Perkins

Google
Sweetgreen on Colorado and 2nd is my new lunchtime obsession—like, borderline restraining order levels of obsession. I got the miso salmon bowl and it was so good I blacked out halfway through and woke up licking the bowl like a rescue dog. Fresh, flavorful, and healthy in that “I’m being a responsible adult but still having a flavor party in my mouth” kinda way. It’s the kind of place that tricks you into thinking you’re making good life choices… even though you’re spending $14 on salad and contemplating a second round. I wanna go back every single day, but I’m afraid I’ll ruin the magic. Like watching too much “Ted Lasso”—you love it, but you gotta pace yourself. This isn’t just lunch. It’s leafy, umami-packed self-care in a compostable bowl. 5/5 kale leaves.

Google
If you’re eating here for the first time, I would say to look at the menu and write down all the ingredients that you like so that you know what you want when you get to the front of the line. They do have different plates that are already made, but they also let you create your own in case there’s certain ingredients you want or don’t want. I like all the options that they have here and my favorite thing about this place is probably the sweet potatoes, the mushrooms and the chickpeas anyways I got a harvest bowl with blackened chicken and instead of the kale I did the Romaine highly rate ten out of ten I think I would like to work here actually this is nice

Google
The service at this location is amazing! I come here almost every single day on my lunch break and I always have such a great experience. Betty and Jarely are so kind and I love getting to chat with them! Food is always great. Very clean ingredients and delicious flavors!

Google
Forgot the sweet potatoes in my plate. I love this location, I come all the time. My black eye most likely distracted him!

Andrea is super friendly and every time I visit this location she is smiling. Salads are my favorite post workout meal and Sweetgreen has several delicious options to choose from.

Google
Okay, let me keep it real! I only visited Sweetgreen because of influencer Tabitha Brown. She made this spot look like a whole vibe, and I was ready to experience it for myself. 🌱✨ But after traveling all the way downtown, I’ve got to say…it was just okay. The ingredients were fresh, and the concept is cool, but the flavors didn’t quite live up to the hype. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t the life-changing, soul-soothing experience I was expecting. Lowkey, I could have saved the trip. 😅 If you’re in the area, sure, give it a try but if you’re making a special trip, just manage your expectations. #InfluencedButMeh #SweetgreenExperience

Google
The food was just okay, nothing special. What really ruined the experience was the terrible customer service, especially from Betty. From the very beginning, Betty was aggressive and rude when helping us. She didn’t let me add anything extra to my meal, didn’t pay attention to the changes I wanted to make to my bowl, and when I asked about the new fries they are promoting, she flat out refused to make them without any explanation. Betty’s attitude was by far the worst part of the entire visit. Thankfully, the rest of the staff was pretty friendly, but Betty’s awful service was enough to overshadow everything else. Very disappointing.

Google
I used to love this place but don’t know what happened to them. The food was mediocre and the place smelled bad. The rice was super dry, the salmon was tiny and overcooked.

Yelp
This location is clean and super fast fresh ingredients lots of indoor and outdoor seating

Yelp
Sweet green is one of my to go lunch places in Austin since it's very convenient for me. The service is quick since all the ingredients are ready before you arrived. I made my own order with rice and beef - I think it tasted decent. The only downside is the bowl isn't cheap and a lot of the items have additional costs. I think they should include some of the add ons for free but overall good portion and will return

Jessica B.

Yelp
the best service you could get!! enjoy the food and customer service. food is delicious! I would recommend the harvest bowl
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely unassailable food here. Consistent, quality ingredients, super fresh veggies, and vibrant flavors. I'm forever torn between the shroomami for those rich sauteed mushrooms and hummus crunch with its bright, lemony chickpea puree coating every green leaf. What bums me out about this location is that it is always so slow. Don't go out for lunch because they'll be slammed. Don't go midday because they'll be understaffed. Don't go for dinner because they'll be tired and phoning it in. Basically, don't go if you have to be anywhere because it will take a while. Big note on the parking: They DO validate, as stated on the website, but make sure you go to the right lot, which is not abundantly clear. Chose wrong and it will cost you $10 if you stay longer than 10 minutes. It's already not cheap, but THAT is one pricey salad.

Yelp
I chose Sweetgreen to end a 76 hour fast with. People love this place so I figured I can't go wrong! The caesar dressing was inedible and the portion seemed very small to me. I didn't get a protein so that's probably partly why but if we're only allowed 4 toppings, maybe give more than a tiny scoop each :'( I might try something different another time but it is hard to rationalize a $16 salad when the first one went so wrong.
google avatar

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
Sweetgreen is one of my go-tos for a quick, healthy meal. This location is always pretty consistent. I typically modify my salads and they're always great about it. I'm used to receiving items in error or not modified at all, so that's a nice change of pace. Service: I usually do pick-up at this location, so I can't speak too much on the service. However, I've always been greeted and acknowledged when I come in for pick-up which I appreciate! Parking: Being on South Congress, parking is super limited. It can be hard to even find a curbside spot for quick pickup. There's street parking, but it's hard to come by so you're better off going with a garage for guaranteed parking.

Craig D.

Yelp
After a 2 hour and 15 minute wait for lunch I cancelled my order through DoorDash and got completely refunded. They may have great food but they don't have a clue as to how to serve in a commercial setting or run a business.
google avatar

Gillean G.

Yelp
Great food always but the service is what takes the experience above and beyond. Jarely was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. Will definitely come back to this location.

Yelp
I built my own salad and got it with Salmon and it was dry, smelled fishy (not a good fishy smell) and tasted like it was pulled out of the freezer, thawed and thrown on the salad. I know this could be better since I had the exact same order in Georgia. I gave the rating 2 stars because the vegetables were fresh. the salmon ruined it though especially because the additional cost was so high compared to the other protein choices. Is this my undoing for ordering fish in Austin, the BBQ state? No, I've had some good salmon in TX
google avatar

R G.

Yelp
Healthy and quick meal options . glad I have access to 2 locations very close to my place. They are seed oil free for the most part Ingredients listed on website. They only have sunflower and sesame oil - not great but way better than seed oil. Hummus and crispy rice have canola
google avatar

Bowen R.

Yelp
Salad was 10/10 You have to make your own though so it is a bit of a toss up. I however made a double yum salad so lmk if you need a go-to order. For sure add the okra that is seasonal right now. They give you AS MANY sides of dressing as you want so go ahead and butter me up baby!!! Seed oil in some of their dressings which is why is a -1 star but that is also because I am weird about seeds. Ran into friends too :)

Yelp
they refused to remake an order that they let a random stranger take. completely unprofessional and not understanding considering their own mistakes and lack of good organization. this place is dirty too do not recommended coming here

Xavier M.

Yelp
I ordered food on uber eats and they let someone take it so when my driver got there to pick it up they told him we dont him someone else picked it up and my driver said well that wasnt for them. They gave him attitude and said well dont have to make another order and we wont make another one. Even if thats the case why be rude and disrespectful to someone just doing their job and not make another order when it was their fault they didnt confirm it was the right person. Never taking my business here again.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
I'm so over this place! I used to order here a lot, but the last two times my order has been awful and completely wrong. They're charging way too much to screw up the orders too. Not only is the order delivered wrong, it's usually late to arrive as well. I'm done ordering here.

Yelp
I absolutely fell IN LOVE with sweet green when I was visiting Austin. I visited twice, 2 days in a row for their fresh produce (a vegan's DREAAAAM). Unfortunately during the first visit, the staff member who helped me was pretty rude and didn't include all of the items included in the shroomami bowl. She rushed through it so fast and had an attitude, but I guess that comes with all franchises. A hit or a miss. Luckily the second time we visited, the gal who helped me was super kind and patient. I ordered the same bowl, but added a gazillion veggies to it bc I'm actually a veggie obsessed vegan . The bowl was soooo delicious, I stopped myself from finishing it. It was packed with flavor and so fresh. The only downside was the tofu. It was super tough and chewy, definitely over cooked. One piece of advice for sweet green would be to cook their tofu for less time or take a different approach. Next time I'll leave the tofu out, bc I ended up picking them out of my bowl lol. But all in all, if you are vegan or vegetarian or even if you eat meat! This is a fresh, flavorful and high vibrational meal to enjoy on the go P.S GET THE BREADDD. It is $1 extra (or so) and incredibly, soft and worth it - the perfect compliment to your salad or grain bowl

Jean Y.

Yelp
Delicious!! I loved the miso salmon and have ordered it multiple times. So happy to find out that we have one in our town, too! Definitely recommend
google avatar

Kia L.

Yelp
The good-- Mmmmmm!!! The harvest bowl is the best! The goat cheese is sooo good warm and I would never think to pair it with sweet potatoes such a unquiet combination. Portions are a perfect size and I love that they use biodegradable bowls to package the bowls and salads. The bad-- nothing!

Jessica H.

Yelp
I love coming here and I come here twice a week if not more BUT if you get an online or pickup order check it! I placed an online order and they gave me less than half of a container of dressing for a big salad and it's got like four pieces of chicken in it...this has happened to me previously with an order of hummus they literally charged me and gave me less than an ounce of hummus. when you go inside like 8 tables all of them are two tops except for one and the employees/management are usually all sitting down taking up most of the table space and there's normally only one employee behind the counter that is making the orders I'll probably start going to a new location Their customer service text line did refund me and was very helpful

Tracy A.

Yelp
I normally hear nothing but good things when it comes to sweetgreen, especially with this being one of its most prominent location here in Austin, Texas located within walking distance of the top tier university UT. However, after today interactions with your Manger here on duty this morning, it has just brought some concerns to my attention such as the lack of customer service in addition to the negligence to place importance on the paying customer needs before the manager demands and wants. Today, August 20th, 2024 at around 11-1130AM multiple customers and I, witnessed a DoorDasher come in to pick up a delivery and the manager initially calm, soon became impatient with the young lady, once the Dasher did not display the order information in a timely manner, the manager here on duty then refused to give the young lady the order, due to the fact that, the dasher told the manager, she, the manager " doesn't know how to work the app and she should learn, how to work it" the manager then proceeded to tell the young lady she is no longer allowed to pick up the order. The dasher calmly asked the manager, what updated information she should give DoorDash about the order, the manager here on duty this morning tells the young lady, she "does not work for DoorDash tell them whatever you want " I was honestly amazed that now, a customer will have to wait even longer, or may not even receive their order, on behalf of the manager demands and wants. I am here now, in regards to fully apprehend why the manager here on duty is refusing communication from DoorDash when they attempted to reach out to her by phone on multiple occasions then she failed to provide proper reasoning as to why she is refusing to release an order that is ready for delivery. I feel as though, The lines may have become blurred on the value of customer service for the manager here on duty this morning, I also have a feeling she may agree with me, because she also refused to give her name . . .

Yelp
What a beautiful creation! It's almost salad in an art form. I got the green goddess which has spinach and kale as the base with sprinkled almonds and chicken. Top that with a healthy dose of raw beets, sweet potatoes, spicy broccoli, cabbage, carrots, lentils and chickpeas. I'm generally particular about the dressing but this ranch dressing isn't too heavy where you feel bad to eat it but not too light where it's got no flavor. Chicken is soft and tasty and the ingredients wonderfully fresh. Plenty of space to eat outside and a great spot to people watch on South Congress. If only they have a location in Pflugerville, that would be awesome!
google avatar

Alina Y.

Yelp
Located on one of my favorite streets in Austin, South Congress in Austin. They have outdoor sitting that is dog friendly. Although, south Congress has many food options if you're looking for something healthy and light I recommend coming here. The hot honey chicken plate is my go to order every time.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Super slow service for last two orders ( more than 30 min). One of our salads was nearly empty by the time it was given to us. Unacceptable service and quality for the price.
google avatar

Havalah W.

Yelp
I had the Mediterranean salad the other day with salami and peppers! It was seriously good. We got them delivered to us, bc we were hard at work! The chicken kale is also yummmmm.
google avatar

Luis G.

Yelp
You've all heard of modern market, flower child, and other farm to table places around town. You all love them and support them because they source their selections from local vendors and from farms all over the U.S You support these business with nothing but love and support. So here you go, another great name to add to that list. Their "table of contents" that states what they get and where they get them from makes you feel even better inside knowing what you're putting in your body is not only nutritious but helping farms all around the country. The taste = incredible The setting = amazing The overall experience = extremely pleasant. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu. Come by SweetGreen and try their bowls or plates, you will not regret it. The sweet potatoes were to die for, and the chicken breast was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I can't say anything else but keep up the good work here SweetGreen, I'll be seeing you all very very soon!
google avatar

Wayne N.

Yelp
New year, new body. Sweetgreen definitely makes salad an enjoyable experience, as it's fresh, healthy and surprisingly filling, especially if you add some focaccia to your meal. Salad bowl options are plentiful and if you don't like the premades, make your own. I got a crispy chicken salad and it's not crispy chicken the way you would think. The crispy part is the puffed rice that gives your salad a good textural element, while serving it with blackened chicken. The remoulade is good dressing, the pickles add some crunch and acidity and the vegetables are fresh. The bowl is pretty large and as such will satisfy you for lunch. The rosemary foccacia is hearty, good amount of salt and herbaciousness, but also less oily than typical other foccacia that I've had elsewhere. It's a good accompaniment to your meal. I don't reach for salad often, but sweetgreen is a good option if you like green bowls.
google avatar

Donna S.

Yelp
I have loved SG since a visit to Washington DC. The food is ALWAYS FRESH and there are almost limitless combinations! My favorite remains the Shroomami bowl... it just FEELS HEALTHY to eat there (and it IS!!) Only downside is, unless you're already walking around the area, parking can be a PAIN...
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
When I was in NYC for a summer, I saw sweetgreen everywhere but could never get myself to try it because there always seemed like a better place to spend my money at. I'm really glad sweetgreen finally came to Austin because salad always makes me feel so healthy. They also do salads really well. It's definitely overpriced and most people probably wouldn't be willing to spend $7-11 on leaves, but I can understand the hype. This is definitely not somewhere you could frequent if you're not a salad person, but if you are, it's a great option to get a delicious salad.
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
Whether you're looking to lose weight or just eat better, then look no further than sweetgreen! Sweetgreen is an absolute banger. They're one of my favorite healthy spots to eat at! They have a wide variety of different salads to choose from and honestly can't go wrong with most items here. There's one sauce that I don't like and it's the nuoc cham vinaigrette which I describe as tangy and sour. Other than that, I have high regards to everything else! The one gripe I hear is the price and I justify it because the salads are a great filling portion plus the ingredients are fresh PLUS you can build your own salad so you get to have full autonomy over your own salad if you wish. Sometimes if I have chicken/meat at home already cooked, I'll just get a salad without meat and save a little $ and then add it at home, so that's one thing you could do to save on cost. With that said, I give them a 5/5 for being amazing!
google avatar

Jenna Z.

Yelp
Heard a lot about sweetgreen and heard that they opened up a new spot in Austin. I really like the location, really positive and good energy. Lots of space outside to eat. I ordered takeout and the sauces were so delicious and the food was delicious too. My only complaint would be that I was expecting a lot more food, so when I opened the box, I was a little disappointed. TLDR: Serving size was pretty small, food was delicious, will probably come back!
google avatar

Yelp
DoorDash dinner service which took roughly 36 minutes - slightly faster than the estimated time so it was a good start. We got a custom make your own bowl and a Shroomami. The Shroomami had plentiful Kale as a base that was shredded into easy to eat pieces. Slightly modified - ours had roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix (pretty good), raw beets, cucumber, basil (spices and sunflower seeds removed), warm wild rice with a miso ginger sesame vinaigrette. Generally good flavors but made the mistake of adding shrimp for $4. These shrimp were fairly small but incredibly mealy in texture - seemed like overcooked frozen shrimp to us (a bit of a downer). The custom was a wild rice base with spicy broccoli, basil (a sprig), sweet potato, cucumbers, roasted chicken and a green goddess ranch dressing. The dressing came on the side which was great since a little went a long ways. This bowl was good and the sum of the parts wasn't bad either. In terms of portions - the rice were two ice cream scoops, about a 1/4 cup of broccoli, a handful of cuke crescents, 1/4 cup of sliced/diced sweet potatoes, and a small sprig of basil. Chicken was about 1/4 of dice roasted chicken too. I polished the whole thing off and ended up wishing that I had added a few more ingredients to help sate the hunger (albeit this would have been for extra charges). Rosemary focaccia add on was the surprising winner. It's thick, not dense, and with a nice salty crust (although the rosemary wasn't very pronounced). Warmed this up a little bit with some olive oil. Delish. Mixed bag for us on this one - the shrimp was off putting and we ended up tossing it - bummer.

Yelp
I was just there and bought a human chocolate bar that has clearly been there too long. fyi - refresh the chocolate you sell.

Yelp
We stopped by for dinner at 7 pm on a Saturday. Several tables had chairs on top of them like they were about to close. We pulled a table out from against the wall. Service person spoke very softly, very hard to hear with the music. She wasn't rude but not friendly either. She rushed through the order. Said they were out of rice and was quinoa ok. Yes fine. Got the salad and it had rice. Our other salad was drenched in dressing despite choosing the "medium" amount of dressing. Ordered bread. It came in a bag that had been refrigerated and the bread was also cold. Overall very underwhelming for the price. Trash cans were overflowing.
google avatar

Linsie W.

Yelp
Love this place! The only reason they get 3/5 stars is because they're a franchise and depending on where you go, it's hit or miss! Overall, just a great lunch place to get a tasty and fresh salad which you can adjust toppings to your own liking. I'm a big fan!

Katrina H.

Yelp
Love the reliably fresh veggies at my favorite salad spot in town! Brianna was super helpful and made my boyfriend and I two perfect create-your-own bowls.
google avatar

Kimber Y.

Yelp
My five star rating is for the Harvest Bowl. It is truly delicious and everything else I have tried pales in comparison. Goat cheese, greens, apples! Yum! Sweet green is the perfect pick me up. It's a great thing to take to-go and treat yourself to a picnic. The location on South Congress has been speedy, efficient, and makes great bowls!
google avatar

Milannie C.

Yelp
I'm a self proclaimed salad hater. I've always thought the most boring lunch choice is a salad and to my dismay my coworkers decided to order Sweetgreen today. I was underwhelmed by the idea, but decided to take a peek at their menu. Immediately I was pretty excited about all the endless options and went on to build my own. I am getting ready to go on vacation this week and I'm being a little bit strict with my calorie intake, so this place was a godsend. My order: kale, cajun shrimp, red onions, raw carrots, shredded cabbage, cilantro, roasted sweet potatoes, shaved Parmesan and nuom cham dressing. It was probably the best salad I've ever had. I'm even looking forward to the next combination I'll get to try.
google avatar

Quin T.

Yelp
I love when I discover healthy delicious options and sweetgreen definitely gives you that on top of the fact that they make it super easy to order via their app and schedule future deliveries! I love the convenience and it definitely saved me from the headache of navigating the Congress traffic during lunch hour rush. We tried the hot honey chicken, chicken pesto park, chicken tostada, and the buffalo chicken bowls and all were delicious! I am a sucker for craft beverages, so we tried the hibiscus clover tea and rowdy mermaid savory peach...yum!

Trent S.

Yelp
My wife and I ordered dinner from this location using DoorDash. Within 30 minutes of eating our crispy rice bowls, we both got sick and were up through the night with food poisoning.
google avatar

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Got the tofu salad bowl and the tofu was so dry and hard to chew. Felt like it was out all day or it was just cooked horribly. That was the main protein of the dish so it really ruined the whole thing. The mushrooms were ok. Overall a terrible meal. Wouldn't recommend. They're probably too busy on SoCo to make sure they are serving quality food.
google avatar

Karan P.

Yelp
The cashew pesto sweet potatoes are one of my favourite vegetarian appetisers in Austin! Loved the charred potato texture and flavour. And that cashew pesto was pure nectar! 1000% recommend to try. The shroomami bowl was brilliant too with the freshest components. I added parmesan crisps which added a whole new dimension to my bowl. Definitely recommend for a healthy meal around SoCo or even for a home delivery.

Yelp
Can do no wrong in my eyes and I am ecstatic that they opened an Austin location. They used to just sling salads, but, they're like the caviar of salads! Now, they also do plates, so those that were too "why are leafy greens this much money?" can get more of the fixins, less of the lettuce. Love that they use locally sourced ingredients from each city they post up in and the peaches and yogurt snack is a great little dessert for those wanting something healthier than your run of the mill sweets!

Yelp
I rec'd my meal as part of a complimentary Yelp preview. I'm a complete sweetgreen newbie. They will soon be open to the public on Wednesday and from what I understand they have quite the following. Ordering through their online app was easy and quick. Email updates on your order status. A separate online pick up entrance and alphabetical order shelving to find your order easily. Miracle assisted me when I picked up. Very friendly, making sure my item was bagged and that I had plasticware and napkins. Hot honey chicken plate. Ehhh. The positives. I loved the chicken and hot honey sauce. Chicken was juicy and had amazing flavor the sauce was a great compliment. However the rest of this plate? A let down. A miniscule amount of kale slaw, 3 or 4 small pieces of sweet potato and tiny amount of wild rice. My bowl was more of a child's portion than anything. Disappointing. I understand this is a soft opening and training is still happening so I'm offering constructive feedback. This is a quality control issue that can be easily fixed. Thank you.

M J.

Yelp
if I could give zero stars I would. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was making an order on line for delivery. when I added more the site accidentally got changed to pick up. I had already paid for the order before I realized it. i tried to find a number to call and change it but only got automated. tried contacting through chat and same crap. Finally I found a text about order and the person on text basically said I was SOL cause the order had been made and it could not be changed to delivery. I am furious cause this was over a $50 order and I got nowhere. AGAIN VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Yelp
SWEETGREEN IS FINALLY HERE IN AUSTIN! I couldn't be happier! Their salads are hands down the best! They big, filling, and nutritious! I got to attend the preview event before they open this Wednesday 8/12. They hooked it up and I ordered the Hot honey plate! Newer to their menu. My absolute favorite salad is the Chicken Pesto Parm- spicy, green, and packed with flavor. Can't wait to frequent this spot now in Austin. Sweetgreen is right in the mix of all the new stores on South Congress.

Yelp
We moved to Austin from DC, where sweetgreen is everywhere!, so when I saw this location was opening we had to go! The location is beautiful, lots of available seating and super friendly staff. Their app is also great so definitely recommend using that (plus they have a rewards program!). I went with my fiancé and we both went the custom route, I got a salad and he tried a plate. Everything was delicious just like I remembered. The only negative is it is a little on the pricier side so we were surprised to see the portion size of his plate. Otherwise, they have great options, local ingredients, and consistent quality!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. A coworker was raving about this spot so I decided to order. My first meal with them was great, but the portion size was ridiculously small for the amount of money they charge. I decided to order a second time (chicken chimichurri) since I had a ubereats gift card. My food comes perfectly packaged and sealed. I saw a weird message on it saying to consume by 10:20pm. Thought that was very odd. As I'm eating my meal, I noticed something was moving in my food and I'm immediately grossed out. There was a slug like bug crawling around my plate!! Sweetgreen says their food has a higher probability of having bugs because they receive whole unprocessed vegetables from farms. I'm all for this, but I have no interest in searching my plate for bugs each time I eat. If it's not obvious, I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I have yet to receive a refund. ---- Update: The management team has reached out to me and made things right. I appreciate them taking ownership and welcoming feedback.

Yelp
For those who have food allergies, please reconsider before going there. The staffs don't seem to know how to handle food allergies. My toddler son is allergic to egg and nuts. I love to eat out with him in other sweetgreen locations, but not this one. The staff who seems to be in charge didn't know the ingredients of their bread that normally come with the salad. I was told to bear my own risk if I order it. When I ordered the bowl, I specifically said I can't have pecan, and the staff said it can be taken away. However, she still put in it anyway. The pecan pieces are the size of rice. Imagine a kid who has allergies accidentally eat these small pieces...that can be a trip to ER! With all these, I doubt they know they should be cautious sharing cooking/serving utensils.

Yelp
I've only used for takeout, but everything I've ever had from here has been excellent, including the Harvest Bowl and the Guacamole Salad bowl.

Yelp
My friends say I'm obsessed. I say they don't know what they're missing. You may think it's weird that a salad spot is someone's favorite food place. But it's certainly my favorite food spot! The hostess was friendly enough, actually noticeably standoffish towards the end of my purchase, but that won't stop this being a stellar rating, because I absolutely love the business model, and quality of fruits and veggies here at Sweetgreen! It seems like every Sweetgreen has this amazing standard for the best tasting raw foods. Last year, I missed the spring/summer menu. I'm so happy to finally get the peach and barrata salad.
