Love sweetgreen as a whole. Always have a great meal when I go. The food is always really fresh and tasty. My favorite is the Harvest Bowl, never fails to disappoint. This location was nice, just had a little bit of a hard time finding parking.

Ordered the Harvest Bowl for takeout tonight, and let’s just say it was an experience. I had the pleasure of biting into something hard—what I thought was an almond. Surprise! It was actually a piece of chicken, dried out to the point where I could’ve mistaken it for a pebble. And in case you’re wondering, every single piece of chicken was just as tiny and rock-hard. The rest of the bowl? A delightful 95% kale. Because, who wouldn’t want to pay for a heap of roughage with a side of disappointment? I was really looking forward to dinner, but I guess my expectations were way too high for something called ‘food.

Avoid the charcuterie salad! Normally this place is pretty good, but today they really dropped the ball. The portions were way too small! The salad bowls were basically half full, more like an appetizer than a $15 entree. And there was way too much dressing! I bet I could get a better salad at Subway. Sad to say I won’t be coming back to this Sweetgreen location.

They try to make it seem like they're closed early. The employees are fake, rude, and are trying to leave early. Black manager at night shift is extremely violent behaving, saw him swing at a female customer, luckily she was forced to run across the street to miss his fist. That's why they are cocky, and fake nice when need to be aka being watched by witnesses. They're miserable. Check the camera's if the owner reads this or someone who may know them. Also, the female employees don't always wash their hands... So that's great, won't ever be coming here again! 🤮

This sweetgreen is a joke. If i could give it one star i would. It’s so inappropriately staffed especially for being in Westwood surrounded by medical and college. They run out of everything mid day and today i tried to order something only to be told they ‘can’t modify the item’ even though i have ordered it multiple times at the one by my house (on sunset which is fabulous btw). I literally cannot believe this location is still open with these business operations. What. A. Joke.

Bad Customer Service Tuesday Night Crew 9/24. I walked in and stood in line for 4 minutes and never was offered service. Mexican guy with tattoos around his neck and a female never said anything and continue cleaning as I stood in line. I will never come here again.

Super fresh and very delicious! We had the two vegan bowls and they both were amazing. Staff was very friendly too and I loved that they mix your bowl for you and not just put it together nicely so it looks good on pictures but then is dry halfway through - no here it gets mixed and tastes perfect throughout. We’ll come again! :)

Sweetgreen has numerous locations, however, this one is located in Westwood. I was greeted upon entering and I did not know which salad I wanted. I just love one can be the master of their creation here when it come to creating your own salad. I went with that option; I created my own gourmet salad with assortment of greens, quinoa, and vegetables. I had lemon and lime squeezed on top of my meal. Everything was so lovely from the salad to the customer service. The food was delicious and everything was so fresh. Nice sized space and very clean inside. The restrooms are also nice and tidy. I would definitely revisit this location for more of their salad creations and my own. #LivingLifeOnPurpose

Sweetgreen is my team's go-to place for team outings for a reason. We try to get food together at least once a week, and you can bet that we choose to come here at least 25% of the time. The restaurant is located at the corner of the block. It offers a spacious, sleek interior with plenty of seating for solo and group visits. You have the option of making your own bowl or choosing from one of their combinations. The service is quite efficient and I'm never waiting for very long, unless I want some freshly prepared ingredients. My go-to salad is the Harvest Bowl, but I chose Guacamole Greens this time because it's one of my supervisor's favorites. I liked adding sweet potato to mine because the salad is kind of tangy without it. The salads are well-balanced in texture and taste across their salad bases, variety of ingredients, and sauces. There's always something I'm looking forward to or something new I want to try next. I do find Sweetgreen to be kind of pricey, but their portion sizes are generous, making it ~almost~ worth the cost. Overall, this place is delicious and I definitely recommend it! It 1000% changed my salad game for me.

Huge disappointment. I've walked by this place many times since it opened, finally gave it a try for lunch. Tried the garlic steak platter. Mushy steak cubes with no flavor, wild rice with no flavor, cold broccoli with too much hot spice, and no choice of potato, just sweet. The young lady who helped me was very nice, but that's the only good thing I can say. I should have just kept walking...

I'm a fan! I have been to quite a few locations, but I frequent the Westwood locations the most. It's by UCLA on the corner of Gayley and Kinross. Let's jump right into this review. What I've had? 1. CHICKEN AVOCADO RANCH $14.95 Blackened chicken, avocado, pickled onions, apples, tortilla chips, white rice, chopped romaine, green goddess ranch dressing 705 CALORIES 23G PROTEIN 59G CARBS 41G FAT I love the crunchy tortilla chips and apples in this salad. Issa a vibe in my mouth. This is my go-to salad and definitely a favorite among customers. 2. KALE CAESAR $14.25 Roasted chicken, tomatoes, parmesan crisps, shaved parmesan, shredded kale, chopped romaine, lime squeeze, caesar dressing **I ADD SWEET POTATOES TO THIS SALAD*** Yumminess!!! I removed the caesar dressing personally. I'm not a fan of that dressing on this salad. I prefer the balsamic or the green goddess ranch. 510 CALORIES 39G PROTEIN 15G CARBS 32G FAT Pros 1. Large space with plenty of seating room. 2. Clean establishment. 3. Quality ingredients. 4. You can change and substitute items on salads on the menu. I like having this option! Sometimes you have that one item you just don't want in your salad. 5. You can build your own salad! Whoop! Whoop! Cons 1. If crowded, the wait time can be long, depending on how many people are working behind the counter. 2. Customer service is a hit and miss here. 3. It's pricey, but given the quality of the ingredients and selections offered; I'm ok paying the price, but I can't frequent Sweet Green. Inflation is real out here. Overall, Sweet Greens is worth a try, this location or others. Definitely stop in, grab a salad, and enjoy!

My first time was amazing and there were so many toppings! I got a custom bowl with both salad, rice, and a little bit of quinoa. They didnt advertise that there would be an extra charge for each additional topping over 4. The ambience was great and looks like a great study area since theres lots of seating open and great sunlight.

I am a huge fan of sweetgreen and have had a great experience at the Westwood location! I always prefer to order on the app and pick up. Parking can be tricky sometimes at this location. Highly recommend!

Back to half sized skimpy bowls for full price! The portions always drop back to half or less. Maybe time to brown bag my salads.

i've always heard of sweetgreen but i hadn't tried it until now. so happy i did because it was such a great healthy meal. hot honey chicken: 5/5 -- the chicken was perfectly seasoned and so were the potatoes. i wished the bowl was bigger since i finished it so quick. the service was quick and i was in and out fast for my lunch break. the atmosphere was very chill. ordered it to go.

Stopped by here a few nights ago after playing a show (probably right around 8:30pm). Restaurant was clean, and I was greeted by friendly workers behind the counter. I was disappointed, however, to find out almost immediately that the location was out of ingredients for almost all of the bowls and most of the salads on their menu. I opted for hummus crunch salad with salmon and a second hummus crunch salad with tofu for my fiancée. The food on its own was good. Salmon seemed pretty hard (possibly from sitting for a long time? Not sure, but it was off-putting). Flavor was great, though! I get a bit frustrated every time I visit a Sweetgreen because the ratio of dressing to the *huge* bowl or salad, but I was particularly annoyed to discover that my fiancée was given only one side of dressing. Just a few bites in and it looked like she was eating a dry salad. Overall, this experience was disappointing. I totally get that ingredients run out, but cutting off almost the entire menu with a full half-hour before closing in a college neighborhood? I watched at least 8-10 people walk in and instantly leave upon hearing that they were out of everything. I'm glad that food waste is being avoided, but I do expect to be able to order off of at least most of a menu when I visit a place with such high prices for bowls and salads like these.

Appalled by how this place is still in business. Ordered a miso salmon bowl for over $20 and the piece of salmon I got was about the size of my finger. Are you kidding?? What a disappointment, I wasn't interested in or paying for a giant bowl of rice and cheap veggie toppings with one bite of fish. What a scam and yes I was still hangry when I wrote this review.

The ingredients here were very fresh and the portion size is huge. Loved the variety of the vegetables in the salads as well as the proteins. Their packaging was also great as everything was sustainable.

Inside was very clean. I wasn't able to order online for some reason but I think it was voice chat they were short staffed. There was a long line but overall I'd say it was a short wait. Food was super good though and I would definitely come again. Hopefully can order online in the future.

We ordered lunch for delivery from this location, gave our cell, and told them to meet us outside when they arrive. About 25 mins later, we receive an email saying Emil delivered the food. However, it is nowhere to be found and no one called us to say they were here. Also, the only way to get any info is to send an email--the phone number is not helpful and just redirects you to their app or email contact. Buyer beware if you plan on ordering delivery from them.

This was my first time at Sweetgreen and I get it now. The food was sooooo good! And the girl working the front counter was super nice and helped me choose what to order.

Great quick healthy food in Westwood. Server was super nice and helped me decide what to get between two things. Fair / standard pricing for LA. Got the super green goddess; the sweet potato and dressing were really well done. Big space with bright lighting. I'd come study here tbh. Also good place to meet a friend. You can walk to ice cream or boba in Westwood for dessert after if ya wanna :) also, great vegan and gluten free labeling and very friendly to those diets.

Some people love eating salads. I am not one of those people. I only eat them if it's hotter than balls outside or if I've eaten to much junk food or if my husband says he feels like a salad. I like my salads not to resemble salads, so maybe that's why I'm not a fan of the salads here. Sweetgreen has a lot of greens in the bowl and dress their salads very lightly so you can really taste that kale. I've placed a couple of orders here and both times they weren't ready at the scheduled pick up time (a warning in case you were thinking about parking illegally and dashing in for your order). They have some salads that are only available by ordering through their app or their website, so it's worth checking out if you're looking for more options. Most salads are around $14. The salads feel pretty healthy, which is probably why I'm not as thrilled with this place as other reviewers. I'd rather go to CAVA, where I can load my salad up with so much stuff that it doesn't look like a salad, and is a few dollars cheaper. The last time I came here, the tofu was missing from my Shroomami, which made eating that kale even more painful - especially since I only ordered one dressing. (I'd recommend ordering more than one dressing, just to be safe). I'll probably return, only because they gave me a $4 credit for that missing tofu, but I'm not rushing back.

This is one of my healthy lunch spots. Choose from one of their pre-created bowls, or salads or create your own. Service was friendly and fast, pre-ordering with the app is also a breeze. They have a variety of vegetables, grains and proteins available. Prices are fair and you always feel good after eating here. Great option for the area!

830pm & they're out of all chicken & all rice? Almost everything on the menu that's great includes 1 or both of those unavailable items so I couldn't order anything. Very surprising & disappointing.

The location offers indoor seating but be aware that there is no outdoor seething, and the nearest parking would likely have to be street parking along Kinross. Usually you'd be able to park in Whole Foods, about a block away, for an hour. The food was good. Lots of customization available, similar to that at Chipotle. The service could be better as the server appeared dismissive, but the location had just opened so I expect these kinks to be worked out over time. For a salad, you should be expecting to pay around $13-15, which is a decent price given the area. I recommend adding a sweet element to balance some of the more savory flavors. Personally I'll always go with apple

Idk who is baggin on sweetgreens with the low reviews it's literally a takeout restaurant and the workers are so nice. I love sweetgreens and I will forever get their harvest bowl with blackened chicken so yummy and I always have the best bowel movements after which is super important.

A healthy choice when you need it quickly! I am trying to work on eating healthier, and so ordered delivery from Sweetgreen. I am not a salad girl and was a bit surprised at how quickly I ate my bowl from Sweetgreen and how much I wanted another. What I love about Sweetgreen is the number of choices. No, I don't love salad, so I was able to add a ton of stuff, including rice, eggs, sweet potatoes, chicken, etc. to offset the greens I included in my bowl. It was a "fun" salad, if you will. Because of the option to make your own bowl, everyone is able to find something they like here, even kids. Definitely a little pricey, but I think it's worth it for a healthy meal on the go. Unfortunately, I've now ordered delivery from Sweetgreen twice, and twice my order has been incorrect. The first time, I ordered Little Harvest plate and instead received the Ranchy Chicken & Rice plate. More recently, my make-my-own bowl was missing the egg I paid extra for. I'm still waiting to see how these mistakes are handled, as I do not have a resolution yet. Maybe if I walk in, my experience will be better. We'll see.

I've had Sweetgreen more times than I can count, and what I love the most about it is its consistency! You know what to expect with every order. My go to is the hot chicken plate with a mix of quinoa and brown rice. I've dined in and taken the food to go, and it's always good. If you go into the store, the service will be quick and friendly. Only downside is that it's a little pricier compared to its competitors, but I think it's worth it. Sometimes they forget the additional sauces if you do delivery, so make sure to add a comment to your order so that doesn't get missed!

The service has always been amazing at these establishments and also the decor but the food journey and portions has suffered since going public. Rather go to Whole Foods and get a salad. Never Again

I am a Sweetgreen long time fan. Came to this location when it opened and I have to say it did not disappoint. The staff was great, the restaurant is clean and quite nice with super large windows and plenty of tables. The salads were delicious as always. Parking was easy as we got lucky to find a meter close by.

Good experience here! I was wary of this one due to the parking, but I became lucky one day when I saw a meter out front. .25 gets you 30 minutes which is more than enough time, as I was placing my order in-store. Guy who helped with was some sort of variation of 'Ed/Ned/Ted' from what I could tell, and he was great! I always feel bad when I try to go in order with what I want so they aren't running back and forth down the counter, but he was friendly to talk to, and did his job well. He helped apply a credit I had on their app, and he showed me where the utensils, bags, etc. were across the way. Someone did leave their bread (the one you pay for) over in this area, and I brought it back to the cashier but they asked if I wanted it, so I ended up getting some unexpected focaccia as well. The space itself is airy, clean and spacious, a welcome addition to the Westwood area. If it wasn't for the parking situation (I guess I was lucky it was also a Sunday), I would make this my primary spot.

Meh, it's conveniently near UCLA and straight forward to order and pick up your food in a cafeteria style setting. The food is slightly better than cafeteria food. I had the Hot Honey Chicken and the meat was overcooked and dry, if you've never had good home cooking this might taste good. Drowning everything in sauce doesn't make anything look or taste better.

i wanted to love sweetgreen since ive heard great things but unfortunately did not have a good experience! the store itself is pretty big so they have decent seating inside. i like that you can customize and they have good options but i found a bug in my food. it was pretty offsetting so i had to toss my food and concerning that the produce didn't seem to be washed correctly :(

This Sweetgreen location has super fast service and a nice little seating area. I personally enjoy the miso bowl with sunchokes and thought the Harvest bowl was alright, but I've never gone wrong with a build-your-own bowl either. We once mentioned that the kale wasn't super fresh and Sweetgreen gave us credit for a free bowl (it was great the second time around). It's a little pricy for what it is but is a good spot to grab lunch with a friend.

SWEETGREEN NOW OPEN IN WESTWOOD I was excited to discover that Sweetgreen just opened a new outlet in Westwood at the corner of Gayley and Kinross. They have some of the best salads I've eaten! Inside, there's plenty of seating, and everything is sparkling clean. All of the servers were positive and upbeat, which adds to the experience. Usually, I get the cutely named Hollywood Bowl, but this time their seasonal menu beckoned. I had to try their Chicken + Brussels ($13.95). Wow! Their roasted Brussels were so deliciously seasoned, I could have demolished a side of them if they sold them. When you combine them with blackened chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, apples, roasted almonds, spring mix lettuce and chopped romaine, it's a fall fiesta! The textures and tastes are fantastic. I always order the dressing on the side so that I can use the amount I prefer. The cranberry maple vinaigrette dressing is a tasty twist. If you want to be bowled over with a healthy salad, Sweetgreen is it!

The definition of healthy fast food! Always fresh always delicious! The crispy rice bowl is the Bomb! Always good time to come as lines aren't ever too ridiculous! This is by far the best sweetgreen you can go to. The manager here is on top of her game! Enjoy

I bought the Ranch and Chicken kids meal for lunch because I wanted something not too heavy or expensive. Nothing tasted fresh, the meat was old, and I think the ranch had gone bad. I have to worst stomach pains now! The waiter was very cute and nice, two stars for him!

How do you burn sweet potatoes? That was something new I've experienced. Also the chicken was bland and if it wasn't for the sauce...would've been the worst chicken ever tasted. The employees have stank face when you come in and you can tell they hate it! Unfriendly and on top of that the food was horrible? Please go somewhere else - this is not worth almost 18 dollars with no drink. Yuck!

SO HAPPY sweetgreen is in Westwood! No more delivery from the Brentwood location. I am not a salad person, and I never thought I'd crave a salad but ever since trying their schroomami I've been hooked and this is what I order every time. I like to add chicken to mine for that extra bit of protein. Don't forget to get the bread. I typically order on the app and pickup, and the pickup zone is very easy to find and you can just grab your order and go. The place is super cute inside and in a great location. I'm a regular at this location and today 01/17 at 12:25pm I went into this location to order my usual. I had asked the server for the herb roasted chicken added into my salad. When she put it in, I noticed that the chicken looked off. I alerted her about the chicken and her response was "I don't know." Her attitude was very dismissive. When I ate my lunch I ate one cutlet and it tasted funky. I looked at the next piece of chicken and realized it was still very much pink in the inside. So I went back to the establishment and was greeted by the same server. I asked to speak to management and she asked asked what was wrong. I asked her if she was management she said yes. I told her "You know how I told you the chicken looked off? Well it is." I showed her the chicken and she didn't say anything just walked to the back and got the actual manager. That's when it was confirmed that the chicken was INDEED RAW. I asked if the person I was speaking to currently was management and she said yes. Then I said "well that's odd because the previous employee said she was management" Her response was that the employee was a shift lead. If she was the shift lead why would she lie and say that she was management when she in fact is not? If she was a shift lead why wouldn't she actually take the time to look at the chicken when I told her something looked off about it? The manager was extremely apologetic about the incident and gave me a refund, but I will not be returning back!

Honestly the worst experience the girl was so rude and was disgusted by me it seems like I was polite and nice and she was almost angry that I was there her name was Rimaysh and she was so rude and was upset that I didn't leave a tip I won't be coming back here again

My favorite place to get UberEats from :-d the packaging and presentation are always beautiful, and the fresh, healthy meals always leave me feeling good about my life choices (even if other things aren't working out so hot, haha). So far, I've had the harvest bowl and the chicken parm, and bae has always gotten the crispy rice bowl - and we've loved everything. Looking forward to trying more from this place :-)

I was excited to find out that Westwood got a sweet green store. I finally downloaded the app to place my order, and because my friend referred me, I got an extra 7 dollars off my first order. I decided to get my favorite which is the fish taco salad which I ordered to-go via the app. My order was ready on time and there was a huge wall with shelves to the left when you get in with all the to go orders ready in alphabetical order. Next to that area is a water, utensils, and bag station so you can help yourself before leaving. The indoor seating area looked very spacious due to the high ceiling and lots of light. My salad was delicious and filling, two things I always look for in a salad. The duo dressings are my favorite part which are very reminiscent of a mild spicy fish taco. Like most places in Westwood you need to find street parking. Overall this is a great choice for a healthy lunch.

Sweetgreen takes me back to the good ol' college days. And funny enough, your past comes back to haunt you (in a good way). I love having Sweetgreen in Westwood. Inside is clean, chic, and pick up is super easy. Parking is street or at Whole Foods. The salads are huge!! and a little pricey, but I struggled to finish mine. The ingredients are fresh and consistent. So happy Sweetgreen is now in Westwood Village as an option for my lunch/dinner rotation :)

I tried sweet green for the first time in Boston and I recalled having the kale Caesar and was not impressed. I never had sweet green again after till years later -- I've tried the Westwood location in LA twice now and it was way better than I remembered so perhaps it was a case of getting the wrong thing the first time. I got the harvest bowl but customized it -- took out the cheese and almonds and asked for no dressing and added lemon squeeze, basil and cilantro, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and raw beets! It was REALLY good even without the dressing. They definitely had a lot of shredded kale in it and the bowl was super clean, they didn't overdo it with the grains / carbs, maybe I would've wished there was more wild rice in the bowl but overall the other toppings I was able to add was more than enough. The portion size was also perfect. Would highly recommend going to sweet green if you're looking for healthy options; because you can customize your meal and add/take out things as you like. The cheeses, tortilla chips, crispy Parmesan crisps and dressing are mainly what increases sodium and sugar levels in the meals so if you're health conscious You can always take those out and the bowls & salads are still good!!
