I tried sweet green for the first time in Boston and I recalled having the kale Caesar and was not impressed. I never had sweet green again after till years later — I’ve tried the Westwood location in LA twice now and it was way better than I remembered so perhaps it was a case of getting the wrong thing the first time. I got the harvest bowl but customized it — took out the cheese and almonds and asked for no dressing and added lemon squeeze, basil and cilantro, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and raw beets! It was REALLY good even without the dressing. They definitely had a lot of shredded kale in it and the bowl was super clean, they didn’t overdo it with the grains / carbs, maybe I would’ve wished there was more wild rice in the bowl but overall the other toppings I was able to add was more than enough. The portion size was also perfect. Would highly recommend going to sweet green if you’re looking for healthy options; because you can customize your meal and add/take out things as you like. The cheeses, tortilla chips, crispy Parmesan crisps and dressing are mainly what increases sodium and sugar levels in the meals so if you’re health conscious You can always take those out and the bowls & salads are still good!!

Great food, unfortunately unprofessional staff at this location. Like walking in on a bunch of teenagers messing around. I’m all for fun and joking around but maybe tone it down when guests are inside otherwise it feels a bit disrespectful.

Leaving this review solely off customer service. Today was the second time our order was cancelled with no explanation from sweetgreen via uber eats. Our company spends $400 bi-weekly with this restaurant and will no longer be doing so as they are unreliable. Today's order was attempted at 10:30am, no way they were too busy to fulfill it at that time.

I love sweetgreen in general but this is by far my favorite location. Every time I go in I’m helped by the kindest people and the whole store has the best positive energy. I recently met the manger who is fantastic as well. I highly recommend if you’re in/near the mall!

I have never had SweetGreen and I was very impressed!! I ordered online after completing my shopping and I got the Buffalo chicken salad. It was upscale and very good. The portions are very generous and I really was enjoying the flavor combinations. The service was good! Very friendly and attentive since I didn't know where the pickup spot was! Thank you SweetGreen Century City for giving me a great first experience!

I had a good experience ordering to go here! I really liked the food and everything. That being said, I felt that they were a little stingy on the spinach so next time I’ll make sure to request more spinach.

asked for medium dressing and they drowned my salad in dressing. i spent $20 on a salad plus tip only for it to have an overwhelming amount of dressing and i found a hair in it.

Great salads, this is the Chicken Pesto Parm. Lines can be long at lunch both in Century City and Santa Monica. Sneak out of the office before noon to beat the crowd.

Just here to shoutout Natalie from this location!! I'm always here since I work in the building next door but last week had an extra good experience worth mentioning. I was having a really really hectic day and I came in and Natalie was so kind and so cool and somehow interacting with her just turned my day around! Made me love this location even more.

Sweetgreen at Century City Mall is just okay. The salads are fresh, and there are plenty of healthy options to choose from, which I appreciate. However, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The portion sizes felt smaller than expected, especially considering the price. The service was decent, but not particularly memorable, and the wait time was longer than anticipated, even though it wasn't very busy. The ambiance is nice, but nothing special. It's a decent spot for a quick, healthy meal, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

I ordered online and it took such a long time to get my order. It was disorganized and so slooooow. Next time I will order at another location. Order was also not as nicely presented and just thrown together.

My family visited Sweetgreen while we were running around the Beverly Center. We had just finished getting out of prison, so we were super hungry. A lot of places at the mall were really crowded and had a wait, but then we saw sweetgreen and it was a miraculous sight because there was no line! We rushed in and were able to see all their salady goodness on display. I decided to go for the least healthy looking thing, which I thought was the Chicken Pesto Parm. Though it did have roasted chicken and not a fried Parmesan chicken breast... so I guess it couldn't have been all that unhealthy. We also got some Buffalo cauliflower thing on the side to share as a family. We each ordered a dish, so we ended up with 3 salads. Never did I ever think that I could have too much salad in one sitting until the day I ate these "sweet"greens (spoiler, they're not very sweet). The salads were huge portions, and I usually eat my salads raw with no dressing (the non-green toppings act as my dressing), so it was quite a chore to chew through all that fibrous material. I ended up caving and using a lot of the dressing (I even had to come back to the counter to get an extra heaping helping of the pesto sauce). Unfortunately, the dressing didn't have much flavor to it; it was so light that I had to go back to the counter a few more times to get more of that saus to drown my greenies. The Buffalo Cauliflower side was also very funky, it was cold and crunchy like a dry, but sometimes soggy cereal, but not in a very appetizing healthy breakfast kind of way. So if you come by for a taste of the sweetgreens because the queues at the other restaurants around the mall are too long and you end up ordering a salad, I'd recommend that you top it with LOTS of extra dressing, cuz baby it's cold outside and you don't want your salad to catch a cold... even when it's already served cold. And you're eating a salad, you can make it a little more unhealthy.

The food is tasty but when I order for delivery the salad portions are skimpy. Considering the price point I would expect more lettuce/greens in my salad. There are other healthy options in the mall similar to sweetgreen for the same price or a little less and they are not shy about ensuring the lettuce/ greens fill the bowl.

The salads and green bowls are fantastic here! Always fresh and I love their seasonal specials as well. Service was very friendly and fast. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program and download their app, pre-order and pick up was a breeze. Very bright and spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Healthy dining option in the area!

Eaten here a few times with my family. Good food but nothing special. Definitely one of my top healthy options in the neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and the place is clean. Recommend for a good meal with mall parking available as well of course.

I got the steakhouse chopped and it's just not worth $20 bucks. Portions are small and not filling. Service is good and quick to make but these salads need to be changed by corporate or something. Sorry but Cava and California Chicken Cafe is way better.

Friendliest service I've gotten in a while! Had a great time eating healthy here recently as we stopped in for a Harvest bowl and a salad. The staff was super kind as we were a bit indecisive on the dressings, and they gave us excellent portions. I ended up eating only half my Super Green Goddess salad and then ate the rest for dinner later that night! Great value! I've already been a sweetgreen fan, but the friendly and kind worker here really made me like this location in particular. Tip: Free parking (up to 1 hour) in the Century City mall. Beyond 1 hour without validation is $4. Or spend $5 at Gelson's to get a validation for up to 3 free hours.

Loved this spot in Century City mall. Been wanting to try it for a while now and i'm glad I did! There are a lot of menu options and you can also build your own salad. I ordered the guacamole salad which was really good. I asked for no onions and got cucumbers instead. I felt like they could have been more generous with the chicken portion. The dressing was really good as well. Overall, I think this place is good but the pricing is not reasonable. It was $15 for a salad that was mainly spinach and arugula. The toppings were a very little amount of the salad which should have made the price lower. Still a good & healthy spot but be prepared to spend a good amount for a salad!

I never had any issues that was worth posting on Yelp, but after today, I have a reason to post. I ordered a salad at this location and brought it home to eat. As soon as I got home and opened my salad, I saw this blue thing on a piece of the boiled egg (which I paid the extra $1.50 for). I have no clue what it is... it almost looks like someone got a blue sharpie marker and drew on it. After seeing the blue thing on the egg, I feel very uneasy about eating it and have so many questions. Not sure if I'll be coming back to this location. Debating about whether or not I should bring it back tomorrow.

As a backhanded compliment, it doesn't help that sweetgreen is conveniently on the way to the parking lot. This is also the first location where I was able to get the rosemary focaccia bread that was pretty good. At least a couple months ago, it wasn't offered as an option on the online ordering, so that is why I never saw it before. Maybe only certain locations offer it? I know this might be wrong for me bringing this up, but if you place an online order, you have to pick it up within a certain period of time or else they discard it. Well, I'm going to say they certainly do not do this, and I'm GLAD, because my idiot self actually wanted 5:15p as my pick up time, but I somehow put in 4:15p. I dreaded going here having to explain my stupidity, but I arrived and checked the wall just in case, and my salad was still there. Perhaps it was just a slow day and they forgot, but I was alright with that. Can't wait until pears are back on the menu, I am pretty consistent with what I get, but like to switch up a couple ingredients every now and then. Sweetgreen usually gets it right, and this location especially so.

Found a HUGE love bug with wings in my food!!!!! Never ever eating here again. They clearly don't wash their vegetables well enough, if at all.

The small portions are not worth the value of your dollars. Absolutely ridiculous. Nearly $18 for the hot honey chicken bowl. I simply would not have come back, but I hated the fact that at checkout, they customized the options to where you cannot leave a $0 tip - all checkout options entail a tip. I could not figure out how to select $0 so I asked the employee to do $0 tip, which was extremely awkward given there was a line behind me. At which point she said, "next time you'll have to be charged extra for extra sweet potatoes." Nothing against her - she was kind and respectful - but look at the sweet potato portion. You think a tiny scoop is worth $18? I work at the towers nearby and I will never come back here. You're better off paying near the same price at True Food right next door. I do not need to pay tip for to go! Tipping is getting out of control! I'm giving the rating 2 stars given that the employees were sweet and nice, but the chicken is fatty and ligaments and the quinoa tasted like mush.

Love the healthy ingredients of Sweetgreen's salads and bowls; however, only one star due to the always dry and overdone grilled salmon.

I have to preface this review with saying this: I have been wanting to try sweetgreen for SO long, and I was very excited to finally try this place on last night. My friends & I went in around 7pm. There was one customer in line, no one else. We waited for at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Literally, at least 3 employees walked by us, not rushing or anything, and wiped down a counter or chit chatted with each other. Not one "We will be right with you." Okay...off to a less than stellar start. The employees finally realized we were customers. We opted for the build your own bowl. Honestly, the employees looked like they could care less about us, our order or anything else. I asked for the build your own bowl and the employee helping me, Zion, just stared at me. My friend had to tell me I need to select a base...I'm glad my friend told me that since the employee didn't. I got the feeling that everyone was irritated to be working & didn't want to be there. My food was okay. I got a romaine base, some veggies & medium pour ginger dressing. The "medium" pour was barely any dressing. I had to ask another employee for more dressing. The entire process took about 10 minutes, which is insane for the fact that it was EMPTY. I won't be back, at least not to this location.

I want to like SweetGreen more than I actually do. I ate there twice before writing a review, hoping my first experience was just a one off. Both times we ordered salads off the menu rather than creating our own. And while they were fresh, they just didn't have a great flavor. And both times we were still hungry when we left. Service was fine both times, but I've had better luck at other places in the mall.

The food is always so fresh here, and the take out service has always been amazing in my experiences. I highly recommend any of the soups, as well as the steak and mashed potatoes with gravy! You can't go wrong here!

We found a live moth mixed in with our salad and dressing. Fully gross. Glad we spotted it before we ingested it.

I really liked how I was able to customize my salad and swapped out different items. I like that I'm able to get two dressings to see which one compliments better. You can't really go wrong with making the salad but I liked how the ingredients were really fresh. I also got the Watermelon Cilantro Fresca. It was not sweet! Sweetgreen seems to be popping up everywhere nowadays and their most recent location at the Westfield Century City mall is a welcome addition! Located right across from Nordstrom, it's a nice alternative from its other competitors such as Tender Greens and the whole food court. The staff here is very nice and the energy inside is contagious. Everything about sweetgreen is about being sustainable and using local products and that's something everyone can root for. I got an order of the guacamole greens and I was happy with my choice! I love avocados and you can never go wrong with avocados in a salad. I was hoping the avocados were a little more like guacamole in how it's advertised but I can't complain when it's prepared fresh right in front of you. You're set down an assembly line and your bowl can easily be customized. The limo cilantro dressing was phenomenal and I highly recommend it! It has the perfect acidity that balances the salad quite well. I'm glad to see the mall taking shape in terms of more and more shops and restaurants opening!

This restaurant is fairly new and pretty good! I hadn't gone before because I thought there were no meat options, but the menu actually has a healthy something for everyone I'd say. There isn't a ton of indoor seating but there's a decent sized patio outside. Inside, you order your salad chipotle style (unless it's just a pre-planned entree). I had the Chicken Pesto Parm which was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had that didn't have grilled chicken (I normally prefer chicken grilled). If you like large portions (filling, but not so much I needed takeout) and rich flavor in your salad try this. It had roasted chicken, spicy broccoli (which wasn't burning spicy as much as it had a strong hint of flavor), cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, breadcrumbs, warm quinoa, organic spinach and pesto vinaigrette. I don't like hot sauce so I didn't get it but it normally comes with that. HIGHLY recommend to someone looking for a healthy option that doesn't feel too boring. The flavor is strong on this menu item. I'd love to try more and I will definitely be back.

Sweetgreen definitely provides a yummy, well rounded meal, but it is a bit pricey. As someone who likes to eat on the healthier side, it was nice to have a variety of options and substitutes.

For those working in the Century City area, know that your options for quick and healthy food are slim. While the Westfield mall boasts great parking, high-end retailers and restaurants, few offer the simplicity for the objective mind. Sweetgreen is a place that moves fast, has a great small rotating menu and can be ordered online. So what do you get? A lunch time meal that many can grab and continue working, walking or spending chatting with friends. It's a power lunch and dinner option of sorts. The pricing is modest for those in the area, but may be high compared to other areas where a salad can be as low as $5 at a place like Trader Joes or Whole Foods. At times, Gelson's nearby can also be a better option for slightly less. However, if quality is your choice, then I would rather head here. What you get here is a wide variety of ingredients with bowls. For example, the Hollywood Bowl features jicama. It is a rare ingredient that many do not see in salads. And yes, it goes well with the rest of the ingredients here. Another favorite is the Curry Bowl, which is great for those who like such a flavor and chickpeas. I really advise folks to use the app and order that way, so as to avoid lines and be in-and-out of the place. Seating is ample right outside or around the whole mall. All in all, it is a great place for a guilt-free customizable meal. Enjoy!

This location just opened up a couple of weeks ago. The location is nice, spacious and clean! Staff is welcoming and they had an employee handing out samples while I waited in line to order my salad. I ordered the Guacamole Greens it was about $13 after tax. The salad was fresh and worth the price. I was given a decent amount of avocado with my salad. They will ask you if you want light, medium or heavy dressing. I got medium and it was a good amount but not enough to make it soggy. :)

CASH IS NOT KING... BUT SERVICE IS Yesterday, I was excited to take advantage of Sweetgreen's $5 Greens Day, so that I could score a Harvest Bowl, which is usually $10.50. I signed up for the texts to show the required badge and read the fine print. Since I hadn't been here since the pandemic started, I was surprised to see two lines were available: one for in-store pick-up, and one for in-store ordering. The pick-up line was bustling, but I strolled right up to the counter and ordered immediately. Everything went smoothly until my sweet server, Eva, informed me they don't accept cash! I don't use credit cards unless it's an emergency, so I didn't have one on me. Nor, do I carry a debit card. Had I known, I would have planned accordingly. I was so disappointed. If only Sweetgreen had reminded me on their app, text and website that they don't accept cash! I told Eva I was upset and apologized for not being able to buy the salad she had prepared for me. I was already out the door and in the mall when Eva came running after me, calling my name. She explained that Sweetgreen gives employees one salad a day, and she wanted to give me hers. I didn't want to deprive her, but she explained she wasn't going to eat it that day. I couldn't believe her generosity! Way to go Eva! You turned an unpleasant situation into the nicest one of the day. The roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, crisp apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, and warm wild rice over the spring mix I substituted for shredded kale was the perfect antidote for a healthy dinner. I tossed it with balsamic vinaigrette, bringing the variety of flavors and textures to a perfect crescendo. Thank you, Sweetgreen, for the tempting offer to inspire me to return, even during the pandemic. Thank you, Eva, for your exceptional thoughtfulness. It was sweet!

One of the reasons I have always liked Sweetgreen was that the chicken was properly cut and didn't have any nasty gristly bits so I didn't have to examine each piece individually to avoid them. Recently I have noticed that this is no longer true. I thought that the first time was a fluke and continued to order from it weekly. On Friday I got the Chicken Pesto Parm and there were numerous pieces with globs of pieces from the end of a breast where it attaches to the bone. I had to look at each piece individually and at least half didn't make the cut and I tossed them. I am picky about my chicken (obviously) but not outside the norm and this is quite disappointing. If I eat a salad from Sweetgreen in the future I'll stick to the vegetarian options.

First and last time I tried this place. Service was hurried. When the Harvest Bowl I ordered was thrown together I thought the toppings weren't enough so I added four other toppings and even with the extra toppings this was a bland and tasteless salad. The toppings were faint in flavor and did nothing for this uninteresting salad. I also had to go back because the server forgot the rice but it didn't do anything for the salad anyway.

I don't know what they do to these salads to make them so delicious but damn are these salads great and fresh! I love sweetgreen, and this particular location is amazing. The people who work here are so friendly and personable, it's almost like the connect with each customer in the short time that they talk to you and they don't seem to be trying to hard! My favorite is the Hollywood Bowl, so delicious and I don't recall seeing it at the Chicago or NY location so I'm guessing it's a California or LA thing... yum! The harvest bowl and guacamole greens are 2 other favorites for me!

First of all I want to start with that I love sweetgreen and eat their salad pretty regularly. It is over priced salad chain but their salad is fresh and delicious. Today I got a salad and I FOUND A SMALL WORM dancing in my salad. I've heard stories about people finding worms in their salads, just never thought it would happen to me. I understand that it's a salad so it could happen but just thinking that I might have eaten alive worm gross me out. I had to throw away the entire bowl and skip lunch. I'm traumatized now and can't their salad comfortably. Not a pleasant experience.

First of all, let me say that Westfield Century City is the most frustratingly confusing mall I've ever had to navigate around. I'm not proud to admit this but it took me 4 circles around this damn mall just to find sweetgreen. It's in a bit of an odd location: across Nordstrom and away from all the food places near/in the food court. It's definitely on its own in a corner. The search was worth it though. The salads are amazing. I like their selections of warm and cold salads. I had the rustic tomato salad and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The kale was soft and moist, the balsamic vinaigrette wasn't overwhelming, the tomatos were tart, the quinoa was soft, and the chicken was so tender. And it was warm, which I loved. All around amazing. They also ask you whether you want light, medium, or heavy amount of dressing which I appreciated. $14 for that one salad. Pricey? Definitely. Am I going to go get this salad again tomorrow anyways? Probably.

There will literally be a line outside the door and only one person will be taking orders. I have 10 people behind me and there two women working on online orders. While there's a line outside the door? It's horrible here. I would order online, however, it never comes out the way I like it. There's now 17 people waiting to take an order!!! Very disorganized

I come to this sweetgreen several times a week since I work in Century City. As far as sweetgreens go, it is pretty standard, but in a great location! One of the only Whole 30 establishments (the lime cilantro dressing and a classic oil/vinegar are the only dressings that are compliant though) I like getting guacamole greens with a little bit of hot sauce. Another favorite was the OMG Omega, but they took that off the menu. You can build it yourself still but I don't think they have the nori anymore. If you are going during lunch on a work day, don't even think about ordering at the store and still having time to enjoy your lunch break. It is crazy packed in there every day, with the line averaging probably 20-30 people at any given time. Order online to grab and go! They put your salad with your name on it on the online order shelf. While the service is good and the salads are healthy, they are extremely expensive, and this location is frequently out of avocado for some reason. Parking - first hour is free in the Century City Mall parking structure. Park near Nordstrom.

This location will always be busy during lunch time,That's just the way it is. The line goes by fast or you can order ahead for pick up. I had lunch here on a Tuesday and despite it being busy, my friend and I found a place to sit. The cashier is so friendly. I usually just get the chicken pesto parm with dressing on the side. The portion size is plenty and I just feel good about my life choices when I eat this :) it's a little on the pricier side for a salad especially if you go for a custom one.

Whenever I want (or know I need to eat) a salad, this is where I go! Lots of variety and all options taste good, so you can't go wrong. Love how fresh everything is, too!

My first time here and I think I am a fan. Selections are numerous and you can mix and match whatever. I had the Curry Roasted Chickpea minus the chicken substituted with tofu and instead of the yogurt dressing,I chose the Spicy(medium level) Miso Dressing. This was bomb! I had a free drink here as a new customer and I had the cucumber lemon water. The place has a good vibe,clean,spacious and has an outside seating. Its in a mall so lots of things to explore!

This is the worst sweet green service ever! Devon the manager gave me the worst attitude then when I asked her if someone else can help me, she left there were 8 people right there and not a single person in the store. She whispered something to someone and no one would come help me until I said why won't anyone help me. Management speak to yo ur employees about the way customers should be treated!

2 stars because the salad is good. But 30 minutes late on an online order?! This is totally unacceptable in the middle of people's work day. The restaurant is packed with angry customers dealing with late orders. Obviously this is an issue with the App giving unrealistic order times that the team can't fulfill. I honestly feel bad for the staff as they are moving as fast as they can.

I work in Century City, in fact, my office looks almost directly at Sweetgreen, so I eat here with my coworkers at least once or twice a week. Typically, I love their salads. And as a vegetarian, sweetgreen is probably the best lunch option at the mall. But yesterday, I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. I ordered for pick up, as I usually do. Went back to my office and sat at my desk working and eating my favorite salad. With about 4 bites left I let out an actual scream (sorry coworkers) because there was a cricket in my salad. To be specific, it was about half a cricket because I probably ate the other half. Needless to say, this absolutely ruined my day. I contacted sweetgreen (can't call them, only text) and was immediately refunded but when I asked to speak with a manager I was told they would call me. When they didn't and I reached back out today, I was told their typical response time is 24-48 hours. Really, you fed me a cricket and you can't bother to give me a call for two days!? I am beyond disappointed by both the experience and the lack of response from sweetgreens leadership. I expected better. Maybe now that I've posted a yelp review they'll give me a call. If you do go here, because frankly, it is one of the best options in the mall, look through your salad thoroughly before eating, as I see from these reviews that I am not the first to find a bug in my salad.

Ordered for pickup. Got an email confirming my order was ready to go, and I was on a very tight schedule. I arrived 20-25 mins after the confirmation email, only to be told that my order is not ready at all, and in fact will take another 20 minutes. I was made late to my next appointment, and I received nothing to make up for this error. Staff was unapologetic.
