June 27 2025.. 8:30 pm. Terrible experience today... Ordered a plate and when I picked it up it was super light. I opened it and there was hardly any food on the plate. I complained and showed the plate to Miguel - who I later found out was the Manager Wow! And explained that the portions were very small for the $12 I paid and asked for a refund. He told me to "File a complaint" through the app. He was rude had an attitude and when I turned around to leave he mockingly and sarcastically told me to have a good night and to take care while the other two workers in the kitchen laughed. Will never be coming here again p.s. other reviews on here also have complaints about small portions at this location...so it's not only me..

I ordered steakhouse, and was told they were out of beef, which should be ready in 5 minutes and they would call me. But I kept waiting for 10 minutes and they never called me. When I came to the counter, the guy said, “Oh yeah,” and gave me a very little scoop of beef like this:

I love healthy salads and have purchased salad bowls in this location multiple times. Unfortunately during last month they sold me a salad with hard boiled eggs which were rotten, did not smell right and tasted terrible. Today I came and the bin with kale had so many yellow spoiled leaves. Romaine was wilted on the bottom of the bin and I asked the gentleman to start a new bin as obviously Romain leaves were very wilted some brown and very little left on the bottom of the bin. He got a new bin and dumped all the bad brown leaves from the previous one to the new bin. I tried to ask him not to put bad leaves and he just said - “we have to”. When I came back and said that the eggs were bad and asked when these eggs were boiled the person answered “it does not matter when they were made, just the expiration. The eggs are stored at room temperature with some ice underneath that commonly melts. Probably due to the high egg prices the store changed the policy and now sells eggs for many many days. Sad that this healthy option is lowering food quality standards.

I went in and ordered and had a couple problems with this location, though I normally love sweetgreen. It took about 5 minutes for me to start ordering despite there only being 2 customers in the store and at least 4 people working. The quality of the kale in my salad is subpar and it hasn't been dressed all the way through (despite me asking for medium and mixed in). I also ordered the fries which were good but the box was covered in greasy garlic sauce (that the server tried to wipe off, which is nice but it was still gross honestly) which also immediately spilled in my bag and onto my car seat.

Very grateful to have a sweetgreen in the neighborhood! They have so many delicious salads and plate options. Absolutely love that they offer an affordable kids meal option ($8.50) for little ones. I come here for lunch at least once a week. The food is consistently good but the service is excellent. It's always packed at lunch and they always do a great job of directing traffic and making sure people get their food ASAP. The sweetgreen team at this location deserves an A+

Unfortunately this review is because you can't call the store directly to speak to a manager. I've ordered from here via Uber eats several times and the last 3 times my food came without the proper tamper proof sealing on the bag (staples/tape, etc). And each time my food has arrived either the lid is off the meal or the bag is covered in dressing. Please please, tamper proof your bags so that customers can feel sure it was not contaminated during delivery.

I love sweetgreen. Great portions, healthy and balanced recipes. Harvest bowl is my favorite. Update: it’s the second time for the last couple of months that I stop by at 7:30/7:45pm and the store is closed. Change the info for your location, it’s misleading!

I've been to a few locations here on the westside and I have to say this one is one of the better ones. The bowls are made consistently where others I've been to skimp out on certain ingredients. The interior itself is always clean and the parking is easily accessible. Today I had the pleasure of my food being prepared by Tori and from the moment she greeted me I could tell she has a huge focus on customer service. Not because she "has to" but because she has a nack for people. I went to this location today to try the Matcha coconut drink and it was amazing. I'm a coconut girlie so i really enjoyed it but I can see how someone who doesn't like coconut may think its coconut overkill. It's a little more coconut than Matcha, imo. Anyways Thanks to Tori and her amazing service today. Cheers to uppermanagement on hiring a gem!

Healthy food options for a good price. Haven't dined in at this location, but we ordered food for a staff meeting and they didn't miss a beat. Placed an order a couple hours before our meeting and our order was ready on time - all modifications were considered when preparing our food and they included utensils! You have to appreciate that these days lol! My friend loves the miso glazed salmon, so i had to give that a try. It was good. Slightly overcooked but I still enjoyed my dish. Will definitely keep Sweetgreen in mind for company lunches moving forward.

The vegetables are really fresh, with lots of options, and there's plenty of meat to choose from. The salads come with tasty sauces that add great flavor. The meal feels light and refreshing, perfect for this weather. The restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the service is friendly. The prices are reasonable too. I'm very happy with the experience.

Was really impressed with the quality of my salad here. I used the app to customize my own salad and got updates until it was ready. Quickly grabbed my bowl. Was happy to see many seasonally organic ingredients. Perfectly proportioned. Very friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I'm not sure if Yelp gets paid to delete unflattering posts but my honest review of the recent "Steak" promotion was as truthful and there was no false information. It appears that it was deleted. Why? I was very disappointed in my steak salad. It ended up costing more because I had them adding another tablespoon of chopped up pieces of steak. Ingredients are always fresh and crunchy here, but walked out the door with a $30 salad after all was said and done.

I'm a regular at this Sweetgreen since I work up the street. I have tried quite a few of their salads over the years and have liked almost all of them. The recently added Italian Chopped salad has been one of my favorites since it's tasty but doesn't leave me feeling to stuffed and bloated afterwards. I am knocking off a star for 2 reasons. The first being that I've shown up quite a few times to the food not being ready for pickup, a couple times I even had to wait half an hour which is not ideal on a limited lunch break from work. The other reason is they didn't bring back my absolute favorite seasonal salad (chicken + Brussels) this past Thanksgiving season. Hopefully they bring it back next year!

I think I got norovirus from this place. Apples were a little old. Tastes good, though rough last couple of days.

Great healthy inexpensive for vegans! They chop the salads and add ons Re not that expensive. Their spicy cashew dressing and creamy cilantro is the best!

May 2023: While a friend and I were in Santa Monica today, we decided to try SweetGreen! There is a location in Marina del Rey, which is closer to me, but today the restaurant was calling my name! Glad I listened! Haha! Super Green Goddess: Absolutely delicious! The salad had me at hello when I first saw that sweet potatoes, beets, spicy broccoli & chickpeas were included! Full-on yum! Delicious, nutritious, and so colorful, loved it! Don't even get me started on how absolutely delicious the Green Goddess Ranch Dressing is... OMG!! Also, the salad was huge, couldn't finish it all, but wanted to! Haha! In fact, we stopped to visit a friend who lived nearby and let him try it, and he loved it as well! Customer Service: Naftali was excellent, friendly & I appreciated that he helped me decide on the best salad! He was spot on! Thanks again for helping me decide!! You rock! Overall: SweetGreen is a winner! Healthy, colorful, friendly customer service, beautiful outdoor area, and pretty plants all around... I'll be back, when I'm in the area!! What a delicious lunch that definitely packed a flavorful punch!

Always fresh ingredients. Nice place with a very friendly staff. Really recommend. I wish they would change the app a little because it is very easy to order from another location. Be careful before you pay.

Tori should be put in charge of customer service for Sweetgreen corporate. Best customer service experience I've had anywhere in a minute. Watched her with all the other customers while I waited for my order and she was great with everyone. She should be acknowledged.

Great service today, again, and delicious salad. I love the Shroomami salad. It's so flavorful and fresh. I was also excited to see Sweetgreen now has a Compost (Organics Recycling) trash can inside. They were already doing a great job serving their food in compostable products. Now you can feel confident that your refuse (including your used napkins) are going into the Green bin and not our landfills. Thank you Sweetgreen for being an environmental leader!

Health kick? Craving a salad? Looking for something fresh made your way? This is the place for you! The buffalo chicken salad was amazing! I loved the quality of the chicken and the giant blue cheese chunks were great. Big enough to share with someone. Dining room felt kind of claustrophobic though.

Ordered delivery. Salad, meats, beans, Cole slaw, potato salad. Food was good but felt tummy pains afterwards.

I've been to a few Sweetgreen locations throughout LA, and while normally it's a good experience, this location was subpar. Ordered in person yesterday on Sunday at 6pm. They were missing several items (both fresh ingredients and lids), and the woman working on our bowls made mistakes that I had to correct her on! I had to ask for a bag (normally it's just bagged at check out) and she pointed in the direction of small individual bags, when I had ordered 5 bowls. I then had to ask for the obvious, a large bag. She had such an attitude. Unacceptable. Clearly the employees here are asleep on the job.

): Gotten 3 salads from here in the last month... and I know they only allow you to order online because they are short staffed.. But the staff they do have unfortunately needs to step it up as I have been disappointed by my order every time. Today I ordered the Autumn Caesar add chicken - it was completely overdressed, only had 2 roasted sweet potatoes, 5 pieces of chicken, and barely any actually lettuce .. usually my salads from Sweet Green are filled to the top but as you can see in the picture, this one already looks picked through.. Would not recommend this location.

I've been going to this Sweet Greens for 4 years and the food, service and ambiance is always above and beyond. The staff always welcomes everyone as they walk in and go out of their way to fulfill any requests anyone needs. It's impressive how efficient they all work together especially when the lunch and dinner rushes start coming in. I not only eat here often but I also on occasion deliver for them through Uber Eats and they are just as professional, kind and efficient. If you're in need of the neighborhood and looking for a great place to have lunch or dinner I would highly recommend this Sweet Greens store.

So I've had their Salad once in the past and it was very good. I believe it was the harvest salad with the avocado ranch. It was very good. I live about an hour and half away and it was extremely disappointing to not be able to order inside. I would have been willing to order a salad as is and no customization if it meant ordering inside. Online ordering is available if your open to it. I simply don't order food online.

I started using sweetgreen after chipotle started to disappoint me. I have to say it was the best move. Whenever I go in I'm greeted with friendly people and the most amazing food with the best service. If you're lucky enough to get Tori at this location, she will serve you up a top-notch meal, she's the best and you'll never be disappointed by the menu.

Just recently started a keto/paleo diet and their menu is a perfect fit not just for the diet but my budget as well. I eat there a few times a week now and get happily greeted and graciously treated by Naftali and/or Mike, always prioritizing me as a welcomed regular. I can always appreciate how clean they keep the place and especially in the wake of the pandemic. Would definitely encourage paying them a visit and trying one of my faves: Hummus Crunch, Kale Ceasar, or the Chicken Pesto Parm. And the best part, being a picky eater myself at times, customizing a salad to suit me and my taste buds... Hope ya'll enjoy!!

Service was amazing and everyone was friendly upon waking in !! The food was fresh and tasted very good especially the salmon plate. Overall amazing and would recommend to anyone !!

Just picked up my order and both items are missing ingredients. I should go back to store but now that I'm already home it's not worth it Missing dressing, bread, Parmesan crisp, not mixed In the scheme of things this isn't a big deal but I'm currently making myself something to eat because the items I ordered were lackluster & boring - tip! - check your orders before you leave the store

I expected to at least have more toppings than this. I have like 5 itty bitty chicken pieces and old looking apples ..in their defense I did take out the rice and potatoes..but still give a lil more of something..it's tasty but not worth the $$ ..it's just basically kale..plus we ordered online..wasn't ready and during the process of preparing it they paused and helped the people who came in....

I'm still shaking from this experience. I ordered two miso salmons through Postmates and when they arrived one of those bowls was missing the salmon. I just had hip surgery and walked up there in the dark with my cane about four blocks so I could get the salmon added to the bowl. Yup.... Sometimes life sucks a bit. The manager, Dennis, insisted he'd included the salmon, implying that the delivery person did something with it. It escalated quickly. His attitude was crap. All he had to do was say that's odd and sorry for the inconvenience. But no--he was obstinate that he'd done it right and hostile. He said, "Well, I gave you what you want." He didn't even bother with giving me back the bag that it came in. I had to insist on one. I told him I was going to file a complaint and then he came around the counter repeating my name loudly so everyone could hear it, saying he was going to file a complaint against me. He actually stalked me out the door. Mind you, I'm still wobbly with a cane and wearing a heart monitor. I was shocked by his bullying behavior and frightened. I told him he was being a jerk and he replied. "Good. I'll be a jerk the rest of my life." How is this guy working with the public and a manager? I've never experienced anything like this at a restaurant before. Sweetgreens, you've got a ticking timebomb employee.

Food quality is typically good. The portions tend to be smaller when you order online versus in person though! The service is inconsistent and never amazing :( I was just there today and I definitely experienced the "no eye contact, no hello" treatment that I read in a few other reviews. And this isn't the first time at this location. I don't need a conversation or even a smile! But when I greet you and ask how you are, a response at a minimum, would be professional. I enjoyed my peach & goat cheese salad at least!

YOU CAN ONLY ORDER ONLINE AT THIS LOCATION. Pick up in store. 2 stars because this place used to be good. The guy at the counter said they were only taking online orders and that you had to order through the app if you wanted a salad (despite me literally standing in the store already). This is because they're "short staffed." Earth to Sweetgreen: consider paying your workers more so you're not short staffed. Otherwise close your location if you can't provide good service.

If your fine with a mediocre salad, most probable someone being rude to you and long wait time service, then this is the place for you. The first time I came here the service was lousy, the staff and manager were rude. They tell you, you may need to wait about 10 minutes for tofu bake, but it ends up being closer to 25 minutes as they are in no rush to start it. The second time I came, I saw new faces most everyone was pleasant. However the lady who baked the tofu seemed in no hurry to get it started and we waited about 20 minutes and then she was rude finishing up my salad and forgot my bread as well.

To start off with, we love Sweet greens and have frequented this Montana Ave. location many times. Over the past few months this place has really gone downhill. To start with you can no longer order in store you have to order online. When I asked why, I was told because they were short handed. It has remained this way for weeks on end. However every time I have visited, there are several employees hanging out talking in the dining area. Today there were 5 possibly 6! They were doing nothing and the three staff that were working seemed very annoyed. Like I said we have been here many times and today took the cake. We ordered a custom salad and a hot honey chicken plate with extra quinoa and added an extra serving of chicken (for an additional $3.) When we got home, because you can no longer eat inside here, we got a half empty container(see picture) I don't want to go to this location for poor annoyed angry employees and small quantities of a meal which we had the "privilege" of paying extra for. This is a chain restaurant and I highly recommend you choose another location until they get their act together.

I waited in line for over 10 mins even though there were 6 employees working. One was cleaning, one was doing online orders and one was in the back and only one of them working in orders for people in store. To make matters worse, once I got home, I noticed there was ZERO chicken in my crispy rice bowl order. I have now Zero protein in my only meal I had all day and don't want to pay any additional money. I was super cheated here. The staff is under prepared and not trained properly and now I got an empty meal of terrible carbs. Never going again

Excellent customer service. In a time when customer service is failing, this location makes me want to go grab my food in person. I was recently helped by Mia and Lily (different days). Both girls were so friendly and happy to be there. They were patient with my questions and just such warm, lovely people. I usually get my salads via delivery app but the positive experiences have made it worth the drive. Made it feel like a real neighborhood establishment. They have the best salads. Lily explained the different goat cheese options they have available and that the chicken is made fresh every morning (explains why it's not fatty and salty). And Mia got me hooked on the focaccia. Get the peach and goat cheese salad before it's gone! SO good. Extra extra goat cheese, add chicken.

My favorite SG on the west side. Everyone in their so chill and friendly, they give you great portions. Line is never crazy long, it's clean and parking in the area is easy. Can't say enough good things! My favorite is the crispy rice bowl, so damn good.

I've been to multiple salad joints, and Sweetgreen is my #1 go to, hands down. The fresh organic veggies, combined with the warm proteins, healthy grains, and variety of flavors Anza toppings their menu has to offer is what keeps me coming back. I've been to a several of their locations around LA, but when I find myself near the West side, I prefer the tucked away Montana location. Remy and her team are super awesome. Diligent with their salad prep, yet light talkative, and fun! All the factors that make my restaurant experience enjoyable!

Agree with many of the reviewers about the customer service at this location. Came in for lunch and ordered the seasonal Peach Burrata salad to go and asked for no basil. (Of course when I got it home it had basil in it!). Also asked if one of the dressings has cilantro in it -- guy had no clue and didn't bother to check with anyone. The salad was fine but these little things add up and management has to take responsibility as these mistakes are happening alot and can be avoided with just the minimum of training. Parking lot in the back has room for only 4-5 cars so better off trying to find meters in the neighborhood. Probably will go to the other location on 4th Street / Santa Monica in the future.

I've always been a big fan of Sweetgreen. The salads are fresh and tasty. The portions are generous! Yes, you can fill up on salad! This particular location is very open and inviting. I wish I could say the same for the residents of Santa Monica, but that's a topic for a different day. They have a good rewards and mobile payment app, the service is quick and the bowls are super customizable. Welcome to Montana!

Been 6 or 7 times now. Very hit or miss. Overcooked, hard rice twice. Twice ran out of chicken at prime dinner time. Some staff give very small portions, others are more reasonable, none seem very happy to be there. 4th street Santa Monica location is more consistent and better overall.

UPDATE: Sweet green saw my post and immediately responded, sending me a gift card for a chance to redo! I ordered the same order and did dine in instead of taking out and it was delicious and very comparable to the other SM location. I am happy and relieved.

This place has gone downhill. Terrible service for walk-in. Employees don't even look at you. Took me shouting over the glass to get someone's attention to order. Then an employee went into the restroom and was in there for (no exaggeration) 30 minutes. What was she doing?! Even after I knocked on the door. I gave up on waiting and walked out - never to return!

While it's definitely their most beautiful location it is also their lowest quality one. Today was the icing on the cake and felt compelled to write. They're always understaffed and the portions are the smallest at any of the locations. Flavor just doesn't hit as well as other stores too. I get it being NoMo the rent is likely their highest out of them all. Let's be honest though, they're KILLING IT! As the duke of this location, die hard supporter, and future investor (if the opportunity is there) I hope they improve!

Ordered a Hot Honey Chicken salad and Rosemary Focaccia, it was horrible- everything was horrible, full lunch went straight to the trash. Let's start with the presentation: horrible just opening up the box I've lost my appetite. What a mess. The kale wasn't fresh, the roasted potatoes were so salty that I had to check my blood pressure after I trying to eat them. The chicken was stale and dry and the highlight of the meal was the Rosemary Focaccia, or shall we call it by its new name the Rosemary Brick! Are you kidding me, I almost broke my tooth trying to bite in to it. It was probably 3-4 day old. It should be illegal for you to stay open. Simply disgusting, no other word to describe it.

Sweet green needs to go back to the drawing board on this fish taco salad. Avocado is not ripe at all, fish is burnt, tortilla chips are dust. This is not an $18 salad. Do yourself a favor and go to Blueys or Mendo.

Great healthy food and the employees are always so friendly and kind every time. The location is clean and not too crowded. The worker Ed is awesome, made my day!

The worst sweetgreen location. I live so close to this one, but with their bad customer service and careless assembly of their salads, I'd rather go a few blocks further to the sweet green on 4th street. If you're a Santa Monica local, save yourself the headache and the pathetic salad you'll get here. Go to the 4th street location- it's a million times better!!

I'm pretty big on salads. I have my favorite spots and always ready to try new ones. I got the chicken pesto parm salad that was a local favorite. Dressing g is good, but there was literally 5 cubes of chicken in my salad. Not very filling and not worth the $16
