Austin Indian Restaurant Nasha Opens in South Austin - Eater Austin

"National salad chain Sweetgreen is opening a fifth Austin-area location in the Domain Northside, as reported by Austin Business Journal. It’ll be found in the neighborhood’s location of the Texas mini-chain Louisana Crab Shack — which had been open from 2021 to 2022 — at 11501 Rock Rose Avenue, opening probably sometime in 2024." - Nadia Chaudhury

Pricey but good quality food. It is less expensive to get a customized bowl rather than building your own. The base (greens and quinoa) to the protein (salmon and chicken) is very good and the fresh veggies are a good topping. Love the roasted sweet potatoes as a topping. Great lunch or dinner healthy choice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Sweet Greens in Union Market DC that I feel compelled to share. As someone who had just started enjoying their fresh salads and healthy options, I was excited to make this my go-to place. Unfortunately, that enthusiasm came crashing down when I discovered a grasshopper in my salad. I understand that mistakes can happen in food service, but finding a bug in my meal is unacceptable, especially at a place that prides itself on quality and freshness. I took a picture of the grasshopper as evidence, which I’ve posted online for others to see. After this incident, I reached out to customer service, hoping for a prompt resolution. Sadly, my experience with them was just as disappointing as the salad itself. They failed to address my concerns adequately and did not rectify the situation in any meaningful way. It felt like my feedback fell on deaf ears. Moreover, I’ve since learned that I’m not alone in my experience; it seems that several other customers have encountered similar issues with bugs in their salads. This pattern is alarming and makes it clear that there may be a serious quality control problem at Sweet Greens. Given the high prices for their salads, I expect a much higher standard of cleanliness and quality. I can no longer recommend Sweet Greens after this experience, and I’ll be seeking healthier options elsewhere.

Honestly, I am always so happy that any sweetgreen location I have visited, is always welcoming! I got to try the Caramelized Garlic Steak and I was happy with my choice! The meal was very filling! Although I am not a true tomato lover in this form, I have to say that it went very well together! Also I love the kombucha drinks!

Delicious, slow cooked, flavorful, fast casual food! Located in the Domain shopping center. There’s a parking garage around the corner off of Cherry Sage. The website is great for getting visuals of the dishes. There are a lot of gluten free and dairy free dishes but they note online that cross contamination can happen and they can’t guarantee that the food is completely free of an allergen. As far as the dish I got to enjoy during Elite week (thank you Sweetgreens BTW)…..Imagine the effort that goes into this….onions slow cooked to caramel color….soft and full of flavor. Spicy broccoli. Slow cooked sweet potatoes with spices. Pesto vinaigrette. Probably 1.5 hours worth of time to make all of this yourself but instead it took 1 minute to go through the line. Healthy goodness at your fingertips. Staff were great! Definitely kid friendly location.

I recently visited Sweetgreen and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I ordered the miso salmon bowl with additional sweet potatoes, carrots, and cabbage, plus a lemonade, totaling $28.25. The value was poor compared to other dining options in the area. For the price paid, the portion size was unbalanced—mostly rice with a modest piece of salmon (approximately 4-6 oz). Despite requesting medium dressing, my food was oversaturated, making it unpleasant to eat. The service was notably lacking. The staff member appeared visibly disengaged and unhappy to be working. After my meal, I experienced digestive discomfort that resulted in illness. Upon checking the Sweetgreen website later, I discovered I had been overcharged for my order. Adding to my frustration, I wasn't provided with a receipt for my purchase. Due to the combination of poor value, subpar food quality, indifferent service, and pricing discrepancies, I won't be returning to this location. With these standards, I question the restaurant's ability to maintain customer loyalty in a competitive market where similar establishments are located.

Loved the new sweetgreen at the domain! The staff was super friendly and quick. I ordered the crispy rice bowl, and they didn’t have the chicken. It usually goes with, so I got to replace that with one of their newest options that they have on the menu, the herb and roasted chicken, which was phenomenal. Kimmi was super nice, she made me a phenomenal salad, 10/10! Delicious. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. The restaurant is slick and clean. I love that their silverware and plating is compostable. I honestly can’t believe how good the food is, healthy made fun! So many options to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Great addition to domain Northside.

I like salads anyway, so not hard to find something on the menu that sounded good. I chose the Hummus Crunch Salad. My wife ordered the Shroomami Bowl. Both were outstanding! The space is light and airy, plenty of room for guests. The constant stream of customers ordering at the counter and coming in to pick up to-go orders reinforce that this place is the real deal. The aptly named Hummus Crunch salad includes hummus (obviously) which was very tasty (albeit you only get about three tablespoons in the salad LOL). Added to that is chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cabbage, red onion, basil, breadcrumbs, kale and romaine lettuce. The most notable thing about the salad, aside from its delicious, is the amazingly FRESH ingredients. Super fresh and made to order as you walk down the counter, all kept chilled so the salad is very crisp. You get to choose how much dressing you get, which is nice, and the basil vinegarette was awesome! All that at only 380 calories according to the menu board. The Shroomami Bowl lives up to its name, the main ingredient being warm portobello mushrooms, with added roasted tofu, cucumbers, basil, shredded cabbage, roasted almonds, wild rice, kale and a miso sesame ginger dressing. Another 5-star dish. Oh so tasty, and as with the salad, all the ingredients were very fresh. Also made as you walk down the counter, and you control the amount of dressing on the bowl as well. One final note about the meal ... the fresh bread that comes with the meal. Tastes homemade, perhaps wheat-based, very soft and delicious. Sweetgreen is a great place to enjoy a fabulously tasty and healthy meal. We'll be back... highly recommend Sweetgreen at Domain, Austin!

Yelp
Popped in for a quick bite. The food was fresh and they had all of the necessary ingredients readily available unlike other sweetgreens I have been to. The service was great and friendly. The venue was clean and orderly. Perfect spot to grab something if you need a quick bite!

Yelp
I'm soooo excited there's finally a Sweetgreen at Union Market. I hopped in here on a weekday afternoon and the staff was GREAT! I was asked by my physician not to speak in this particular day and they were understood everything I pointed to. The process was easy and very clean. I cannot wait to return

Yelp
As a frequent visitor to Sweetgreen at other locations, I was thrilled when one opened in my own neighborhood. I've only used the app to order ahead and picked up my meal, so although I can't weigh in on the ordering process, I have never noticed much of a line. The food is as quality as Sweetgreen ever is, there is comfy seating with pillows, lots of natural light, and outdoor tables. My only complaint is that the outdoor tables have a lot of bees due to the lovely potted plants on their patio. I had to move inside to eat during a recent visit. Other than that, nothing bad to say. Welcome to the Union Market neighborhood, Sweetgreen! PS: Currently loving the salmon protein plate (the spicy cashew dressing and pickled onions are so good with this!), the fish taco salad, and the always classic harvest bowl.

Yelp
I didn't have service to use my Apple Pay so I couldn't get the food. The cashier could clearly see that the wifi was trash so I left with no food smh! It was already made and everything which means she'll just throw it away instead of paying it forward since it's their fault. This place has no AC and the they have no incentives for dumb shit like having a tap to pay process but no service to process the payments.

Yelp
I visited Sweetgreen for lunch on their first soft opening day (they officially open April 6). It's a great addition to the Union Market neighborhood. The space is bright, airy, and clean. It's very welcoming; I like the design a lot. For seating, there is one large communal table in the middle, a few smaller tables, and some bench seating. There's an online order pick up shelf near the door and a water bottle / water refill station. The main focus is the prep line and kitchen, including a large window looking into the prep area. I got the Miso Glazed Salmon protein plate and the Guacamole Greens salad, as well as a huge piece of focaccia bread. The food was all really fresh and tasty. If I got it again, I would get a little more dressing on the protein plate -- I went with light dressing and some bites could have used a bit more flavor. The focaccia was good and had very strong rosemary flavor -- a bit too strong in my opinion. There were tons of staff and they were all very friendly and made the food fairly quickly. This was a comped soft open, so the service etc might change over time, but it left a positive first impression.
