I recently visited Sweetgreen and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I ordered the miso salmon bowl with additional sweet potatoes, carrots, and cabbage, plus a lemonade, totaling $28.25.
The value was poor compared to other dining options in the area. For the price paid, the portion size was unbalanced—mostly rice with a modest piece of salmon (approximately 4-6 oz). Despite requesting medium dressing, my food was oversaturated, making it unpleasant to eat.
The service was notably lacking. The staff member appeared visibly disengaged and unhappy to be working. After my meal, I experienced digestive discomfort that resulted in illness.
Upon checking the Sweetgreen website later, I discovered I had been overcharged for my order. Adding to my frustration, I wasn't provided with a receipt for my purchase.
Due to the combination of poor value, subpar food quality, indifferent service, and pricing discrepancies, I won't be returning to this location. With these standards, I question the restaurant's ability to maintain customer loyalty in a competitive market where similar establishments are located.
